Study on Digital Control of MZMO Dynamic Systems Using I/O Delay (입출력지연을 이용한 다중입출력계의 디지탈제어에 관한 연구)

  • The existing methods of pole assignment were reserved in this paper, a digital control method for MIMO dynamic systems was developed based on pole assignment using I/O delay. The underlined concept of the derived control law was that the poles corresponding to the order of a system can be assigned on the desired positions via output delay, and the poles of the order incrememted by output delay were forced to be placed on zero positions by way of input delay when applied to an actual MIMO system, the present scheme was shown to be more effective than the conventional state feedback scheme with observer in that the former was simpler than the latter, while they performed well.

  • In this paper, we studied the compact MIMO(: Multi-Input Multi-Output) antenna for multi-beam pattern generation and control in narrow space. The characteristics and performance of the basic Dipole SPA and Monopole SPA structures are shown. We implemented a monopole SPA antenna and measured its performance in an 802.11g system. When the average transmission rate was measured using the SPA antenna, the SPA antenna improved the best performance by 8.7 times compared to commercial antenna.

  • DTC(Data Terminal Controller) for UAV has been developed using FPGA. It provides the functions of Error Correction and Time-division Mux/Demux for stable data-link. RTOS VxWorks also has been used for real-time control of data-link. FPGA Design of DTC facilitates the modification and extension of various I/O device, and VxWorks ensures real-time availability of data-link control and provides flexibilities of changes of S/W design. The DTC is expected to be deployed easily for various UAV systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to design variable structure systems with sliding sector for multi-input multi-output systems with mismatched uncertainties in the state matrix. For the uncertain systems we define sliding sectors within which a norm of the state decreases with zero input despite of mismatched uncertainties. Using the notion of the sliding sector we give simple design algorithms of variable structure control laws that can reduce the chattering. Finally, we give a design example in order to show the effectiveness of our method.

Real-Time Multiple-Parameter Tuning of PPF Controllers for Smart Structures by Genetic Algorithms (유전자 알고리듬을 이용한 지능구조물의 PPF 제어기 실시간 다중변수 조정)

  • This paper is concerned with the real-time automatic tuning of the multi-input multi-output positive position feedback controllers for smart structures by the genetic algorithms. The genetic algorithms have proven its effectiveness in searching optimal design parameters without falling into local minimums thus rendering globally optimal solutions. The previous real-time algorithm that tunes a single control parameter is extended to tune more parameters of the MIMO PPF controller. We employ the MIMO PPF controller since it can enhance the damping value of a target mode without affecting other modes if tuned properly. Hence, the traditional positive position feedback controller can be used in adaptive fashion in real time. The final form of the MIMO PPF controller results in the centralized control, thus it involves many parameters. The bounds of the control Parameters are estimated from the theoretical model to guarantee the stability. As in the previous research, the digital MIMO PPF control law is downloaded to the DSP chip and a main program, which runs genetic algorithms in real time, updates the parameters of the controller in real time. The experimental frequency response results show that the MIMO PPF controller tuned by GA gives better performance than the theoretically designed PPF. The time response also shows that the GA tuned MIMO PPF controller can suppress vibrations very well.

Development of negative Input Shaping Technique for MIMO System (다중 입출력 시스템을 위한 음의 입력다듬기 기법의 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose a method to apply the Input Shaping Technique (IST) to multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. In MIMO systems, there is a high possibility of multi-mode residual vibration. The IST filter designed for this multi mode may need a longer time to suppress the residual vibration. Previous works prove that we can shorten the time lag by using negative sequence. This negative sequence, however, causes another problem - it requires excessive control input. In this paper, we provide a remedy to reduce the size of control input by limiting the reference input by limiting the reference input and its derivative. The result of simulations and experiments on a 2 link flexible arm confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 최근 대규모 언어 모델의 활용 방법에 대한 많은 관심이 지속되고 있다. LLM이 생성한 정보의 가장 중요한 도전 과제는 출력 문장이 사실인지 판단하기 어렵다는 점이다. 본 논문은 하나 또는 복수의 LLM를 구조화하여, 생산되는 다양한 결과를 활용하는 방안을 탐구한다. LLM이 생성한 출력 정보를 고려하여 사실 관계 확인 과제를 수행함에 있어서, 성능 향상 가능성을 평가하기 위한 실험을 진행했다. 대규모 언어모델의 구조화를 통해 입력 정보의 제어를 할 경우, 기존 최고 성능보다 4.75의 정확도 향상을 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • Adaptive output feedback control technique using Neural Networks(NN) is proposed for uncertain nonlinear Multi-Input Multi-Output(MIMO) systems. Modified Dynamic Inversion Model(MDIM) is introduced to decouple uncertain nonlinearities from inversion-based control input. MDIM consists of approximated dynamic inversion model and inversion model error. One NN is applied to compensate the MDIM of the system. The output of the NN augments the tracking controller which is based upon a filtered error approximation with online weight adaptation laws which are derived from Lyapunov's direct method to guarantee tracking performance and ultimate boundedness. Several numerical results are illustrated in the simulation of Van der Pol system and unmanned helicopter with model uncertainties.

  • In this paper, we implement the system for speech processing to provide the subscribers who are using the telephone network with better speech services. We develop the specified board which is processing speech signal and devise the system which carries out storing and replaying the speech signal under the condition that one master board controls multiple DSP(Digital Signal Processing) boards using VME bus. We use CPU30 board as a maste board and develop SPM(Signal Processing Module) board as a DSP board and then evaluate performance of the system.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a data acquisition system with a large number of multi-channels for manufacturing machine. The system having a throughput of 800-ch analog signals has been designed with Quartus II tool and Cyclone II FPGA. The proposed system is suitable for the large scale data handling in order to distinguish whether the operation is correct or not. The designed system is composed of a control unit, voltage divider and USB interface. To reduce the data throughput, we utilized an algorithm which can extract the same data from the achieved data. The test results of the system adapted to a manufacturing machine, show a relevant data acquisition operation of 800 channels in short time.
