여성 결혼이민자의 문화적응 스트레스 경험에 관한 연구: 인천시 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터 중심으로 (A Study on the Cultural Adaptation Stress Experience of Female Marriage Immigrants: Focused on the Healthy family support centers and Multi-cultural family support centers in Incheon)

  • 본 연구는 여성 결혼이민자의 한국문화에 관한 적응과정과 스트레스 경험이 무엇인지를 알아보고 그에 대처하는 삶의 경험과 의미를 탐색하기 위한 질적연구이다. 참여자는 인천시 ◯◯구에 소재하는 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터를 이용하는 결혼생활 5년 이상된 여성 결혼이민자 5명을 대상으로 개별 심층인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. Braun & Clarke의 주제 분석기법 6단계를 활용하여 중점주제 3개, 하위주제 13개가 도출되었다. 연구 결과 첫째, 여성 결혼이민자가 한국생활에서 경험한 문화차이(일상생활문화, 전통성, 가족관계) 둘째, 여성 결혼이민자의 경험한 문화적응과정(어려움과 두려움-문화차이 이해-극복노력) 셋째, 여성 결혼이민자의 경험을 통한 문화적응이란 모국과 한국문화에서의 생활방식 차이를 알고 한국 사람들과 함께 생활하려는 방법을 스스로 찾아 실천함으로써 한국의 생활방식이 자연스럽고 익숙해짐으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 기반으로 여성 결혼이민자의 성공적인 문화적응을 위한 실천적 개입방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 다문화 가정 내의 고부갈등을 심화시키는 '갈등대화'를 통해 다문화 가정 내의 고부 간 '의사소통'의 유형을 보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 3편의 EBS '다문화 고부열전' 에피소드를 모니터링 하고, 대화 내용을 기록하여 융복합적 분석을 하였다. 분석한 결과 다문화 가정 내의 고부 간 대화에서 '역기능적 의사소통' 유형이 나타났으며, 이런 의사소통의 유형은 고부갈등을 더욱 심화시키고 있었다. 따라서 다문화 가정 내 고부갈등을 완화하기 위해서 순기능적 의사소통을 위한 융복합적 상담 프로그램 개발 및 가족 상담 필요성을 제언하였다.

한국 다문화 청소년과 일반 청소년의 폭력피해경험 관련요인 : 건강위험행위를 중심으로 (Factors related to the Experience of Violence Damage among Multi-cultural and General Adolescents in Korea: Focusing on health risk behavior)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 다문화 청소년 및 일반 청소년의 건강위험행위와 폭력피해경험을 비교하고 폭력피해 경험과 관련된 요인을 건강위험행위를 중심으로 규명하고자 하였다. 제15차 청소년 건강행태 온라인 설문조사(2019)의 자료를 사용하여 35,574명의 청소년을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/Win 22.0을 사용하여 복합 표본 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과, 다문화청소년은 일반청소년보다 흡연, 습관적 약물사용, 폭력피해 경험이 유의하게 더 높았다. 다문화청소년과 일반청소년 모두 가족과 함께 거주하지 않을수록, 흡연경험과 습관적 약물사용 경험이 많을수록 폭력피해경험이 더 많았다. 일반청소년의 폭력피해경험은 성별, 학력, 경제적 상태, 음주경험과 유의한 관련이 있었다. 따라서 다문화 청소년과 일반 청소년의 폭력피해 경험을 예방하기 위해서는 가족과 함께 살지 않는 청소년에 대한 사회적 지원이 필요하며, 흡연 및 습관적 약물 사용 경험이 있는 청소년에 대한 세심한 주의가 필요하다. 또한 다문화 청소년은 일반 청소년에 비해 건강위험 행위와 폭력피해에 더 취약하므로 다문화청소년의 올바른 건강행위 실천과 폭력피해경험을 예방하기 위한 교육 프로그램이 필요하다.

다문화가족을 위한 사회통합정책에 관한 한.미 비교연구 (Comparative Study of Social Integration Policies for Multi-cultural Families in Korea and the United States)

  • This study examined social integration policies for multi-cultural families in Korea and the United States through a literature review and internet research. Because the United States has developed and maintained its own culture, this was an appropriate country to compare to Korea in terms of social integration policy. There were four main results. First, both countries enforce assimilation policies for multi-cultural families. Second, most social integration programs and services for multi-cultural families in Korea are carried out by the Multi-cultural Family Support Centers, which are supported by the national and local governments in Korea. However, because the U.S. government has preserved a laissez-faire approach to policies for immigrant families, there are no government-based support centers for multi-cultural families in the United States. Third, both countries focus on the assimilation of multi-cultural families. Nevertheless, the U.S. government promotes a balance between ethnic identity and U.S. citizenship. Fourth, the U.S. government strongly supports second-generation education and development programs that recognize the second generation as a human resource for the future of society. In summary, even though there were some cultural differences between the two countries, the United States' assimilation policies based on ethnic identity would be useful for Korean integration policies. In addition, it is very important to offer opportunities for mutual integration in everyday life between Korean families and multi-cultural families.

노년기 남편을 둔 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 요인 : 인적지지와 사회서비스를 중심으로 (The Effect on the Marital Satisfaction to marriage immigrant wives whose spouse of in an old age : Focusing on Social service and Human support)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 인구 고령화현상과 다문화가족 증가추세에 주목하여 남편이 노년기에 진입한 '노년기 다문화가족' 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족 정도를 파악하고, 인적 지지와 사회 서비스의 결혼만족도 영향력 검증을 위해 시행되었다. 분석에는 2009년 실시된 '전국 다문화 가족 실태조사' 자료에서 2009년 현재 남편의 나이가 만 65세 이상인 여성결혼이민자 236케이스를 사용하여 기초통계, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과, 노년기 남편을 둔 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도는 5점 만점에 3.9점이며, 어려울 때 의논상대는 모국인형이 36.6%로 가장 많으며, 모국가족과는 '주 1~2회 이상' 연락하는 경우가 44%로 가장 많았으며, 한국어교육을 가장 많이 받은 것으로 나타났다. 결혼만족도 영향변인으로는 차별경험이 없을 때, 건강상태가 좋을 때, 어려울 때 의논상대가 한국인 일 경우, 모국가족과 '년 1~3회' 연락할 경우, 사회적응교육을 받았을 때 결혼만족도가 향상되는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

서울지역 건강가정·다문화가족지원센터 종사자의 통합서비스 운영 경험 (Employees' experiences of integrated services in Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore employees' experiences of integrated services in Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers in Seoul. In-depth interviews were conducted with seven employees, including managers and heads of Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers. The interviews identified three themes: the direction of integrated service, the characteristics of the integration process, and the challenges of integrated service. For the direction of integrated service, the participants identified the integration center as a professional family services organization that provided customized services for different types of families. During the integration process, employees found it difficult to provide integrated services because few guidelines existed on operating an integration center that provided services to families with different characteristics and needs. However, they also explained positive aspects of integration, such as strengthening the business's capacity by expanding the organization. To improve integrated service, employees emphasized the expertise and appropriateness of the family services over the efficiency of the integration centers. They also stressed expansion as a role of a professional family services organization. These findings suggested that establishing a clear direction for integrated service as well as the roles of administrative support agencies is important for activating integrated services.

다문화가족지원사업 평가지표 개발을 위한 메타평가의 적용 (A Study on the Application of a Meta-Evaluation Approach for the Development of an Evaluation Scale for Multicultural Family Support Services)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a framework and system for an advanced evaluation scale for the Multicultural Family Support Center and its services. For this study, we used the Meta-Evaluation method, which is also known as an 'evaluation of the evaluation.' The data were collected from 134 surveys of individuals working in the Multicultural Family Support Center. The questionnaire consisted of two parts: a) general opinions regarding the present evaluation scale; and b) concrete opinions about the details of the scale. The results indicated several problems and issues for improvement. In light of these results, we suggest that not only do the detailed scales have to be modified to incorporate workers' opinions, but also that the management of the evaluation system itself has to be improved in order to achieve more effective evaluation procedures.

비영리기관 종사자의 소진이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 - 건강가정지원센터와 다문화가족지원센터를 중심으로 (The Effect of Burnout in Non-profit Organization Worker's on Organizational Effectiveness -A Focus on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center)

  • This study focused on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center, which supervise the main field of family resource management with institutional household factors. Our research objective was to present datas demonstrating an improvement in the organizational effectiveness of the Multicultural Family Support Center. The burn out average of employees working for the non-profit organization was 2.45, emotional burnout was 2.87, achievement was 2.43, and dehumanization was 2.06. The effectiveness average of the nonprofit organization was 3.56, profitability was 3.65, job satisfaction was 3.58, and organizational commitment was 3.45. The generic characters that caused burnout were age, information, and professionalism in research. The generic characters and burnout that affected the organizational effectiveness included a lack of accomplishment, and emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization, lack of information and professionalism, lack of external resources in that order. The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of burnout in order to prevent job changes and to provide basic data for the improvement of organizational effectiveness.

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effects and problems in the support projects in multicultural family support centers and to present suggestions for its improvement. For this purpose, 10 specialists in 3 multicultural family support centers in Daegu, who organize and operate projects for female immigrants and their families, were interviewed via focus groups and then interviewed in-depth. The major findings were as follows: 1) the effect of the support projects was an increase in participation and concern of female immigrants and their families; 2)problems of the support projects included lack of flexibility of the projects, and overlap of projects among centers. 3)The results of the study suggest improved operation by extending the support networks to other support centers and facilities within the community, increasing the individualized programs based on their specialties, and promoting integrated projects (such as combining language courses and cultural programs, family-support programs and cultural events). Further studies will be extend to find out model cases from support projects of several centers, expand them to other centers, and verify its effects on operating projects.
