This study was to identify factors related to the experience of violence damage, focusing on health risk behavior of multi-cultural and general adolescents in Korea. Data from the 15th online survey of youth health behavior (2019) was used to analyze 35,574 adolescents. The data were analyzed using complex sample analysis by using SPSS/Win 22.0. The multi-cultural adolescents had significantly higher experience of smoking and habitual drug use and violence damage than those ordinary adolescents. In both multi-cultural and general adolescents, the more they did not live with their family, the more they had smoking experience and habitual drug use experience, the higher they experienced violence. The experience of violence victimization of general youth was significantly related to gender, school, economic status, and drinking experience. To prevent the violence victimization of adolescents, social support for adolescents who do not live with their families is required, and careful attention is needed to adolescents who have smoking and drug use experience. In addition, since multi-cultural youth are more vulnerable to health risk behaviors and violence damage than general youth, educational programs are needed to induce multi-cultural youth to practice correct health behaviors and prevent experiences of violence.

Although society has become increasingly diverse, on a few studies analyzed elementary science textbooks in terms of race or disability. Therefore, this study analyzed character illustrations presented in elementary science textbooks in terms of multiculturalism and disability. It identified 14 approved elementary science textbooks for the 2015 revised curriculum, which are used during the first and second semesters in the third grade. First, analysis of the race of character illustrations in elementary science textbooks indicated that 8.2% of them are multicultural, which is higher than the actual proportion of foreigners living in Korea. In addition, most of them were white illustrations, whereas Asian foreign illustrations made up the least, which suggests a different distribution in the Korean context. The study observed significant differences in distribution according to publishers. Second, the gender distribution of multicultural character illustrations differed by 59.0% and 41.0% for men and women, respectively, and the gender variation between publishers was relatively large in which a few publishers accounted for 80% of male multicultural figures. The third pertained to the function of illustrations, that is, the distribution of illustrations of Koreans and multicultural figures was similar in terms of the order of illustrations with explanatory functions followed by exemplary, decorative, and supplementary functions. Finally, from the perspective of diversity in disability, the proportion of illustrations with disability was 2.0%, which was less than the actual proportion in Korea. The study discussed the need to consider the situation and diversity of Korea in terms of race and d isability.

In this paper, we validate the practicality of the OnePIC app implemented in the previous study by analyzing the execution and storage performance. The OnePIC app is a camera app that allows you to get a photo with a desired focus after taking photos focused on various places. To evaluate performance, we analyzed distance focus shooting time and object focus shooting time in detail. The performance evaluation was measured on actual smartphone. Distance focus shooting time for 5 photos was around 0.84 seconds, the object detection time was around 0.19 seconds regardless of the number of objects and object focus shooting time for 5 photos was around 4.84 seconds. When we compared the size of a single All-in-JPEG file that stores multi-focus photos to the size of the JPEG files stored individually, there was no significant benefit in storage space because the All-in-JPEG file size was subtly reduced. However, All-in-JPEG has the great advantage of managing multi-focus photos. Finally, we conclude that the OnePIC app is practical in terms of shooting time, photo storage size, and management.

In this paper, it is shown that B-CDMA systems inherently reduce the effects of Multi Path fading phenomena which causes to degrade the performance of mobile communication systems. B-COMA systems use PN codes of high chip rates ( > 10 Mbps) and evaluate autocorrelation with the same code in the receiver. Therefore, it is possible that multipath signals, whose delay time is longer than one chip duration compared to the first signal, are removed. We model the wideband fading channel as a suitable linear filter, and perform computer simulation of signal transmission and reception. Graphic comparison of eye diagrams between the narrowband and wideband systems is shown.

This study deals with problems of acquisition of multicultural materials published in many countries where immigrants living in Korea came from. Until these days, libraries that want to support immigrant community in S. Korea have had many difficulties in acquiring those materials because they used informal acquisition methods and mother countries of the immigrants in Korea have lower quantities and quality of book production and distribution system than developed countries. Through literature review and interviews, some recommendations are suggested : utilizing domestic vendors or book jobbers, contacting online bookstores, publishers and local bookstores in mother countries of the immigrants in Korea, attending international book fairs held in different Asian countries and taking buying trips for multicultural materials and connecting organizations and people related with multicultural materials. This study gives some benefits to libraries that are developing area studies, language and literature collection as well as libraries that are developing multicultural collection.

We present a new global-local analysis with the aid of MLS(Moving Least Square) variable-node finite elements which can possess an arbitrary number of nodes on element master domain. It enables us to connect one finite element with a few finite elements without complex remeshing. Compared to other type global-local analysis, it does not require any superimposed mesh or need not solve the equilibrium equation twice. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme, we will show several examples in relation to capturing highly local stress field using global-local analysis.

본 연구를 통해 초음속 전투기 날개의 공력-구조를 동시에 고려한 다학제간 설계를 수행하였다. 공력해석을 위해 사용된 3 차원 Euler Code는 수렴 속도를 개선하기 위해 Multigrid를 적용하였으며, 3차의 transfinite interpolation을 사용하여 O-H type의 공력해석 격자계를 생성하였다. 구조 분야는 절점당 54개의 자유도를 가지는 9 절점 쉘 혼합 유한요소(9-node shell mixed finite element)를 사용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 설계변수는 공력쪽으로 날개의 평면형상에 관련된 변수 3개, 구조쪽은 날개 윗면과 아래면의 표피두께에 관련된 4개의 설계변수 사용하였으며, D-optimality 조건을 만족시키는 실험점들에 대해 공력해석과 구조해석이 연동된 정적 공탄성 해석을 수행한 후, 반응면 기법을 이용하여 목적함수와 제약조건에 대한 반응면을 구성하였다. 단일점 설계를 수행한 후 이를 바탕으로 3개의 설계점을 동시에 고려한 다점 설계를 수행하였으며, 공력만을 고려한 설계 결과와 공력-구조를 동시에 고려한 다학제간 설계결과의 비교를 통해 다학제간 설계의 타당성과 우수성을 입증하였다.

In this Paper, we investigate conditions for proper interval graphs to have k-disjoint path covers of three types each: one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many. It was proved that for $k{\geq}2$, a proper interval graph is one-to-one k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is k-connected, and is one-to-many k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is k+1-connected. For $k{\geq}3$, a Proper interval graph is (paired) many-to-many k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is 2k-1-connected.

In this paper, we propose a LiDAR driver that virtualizes multiple inexpensive LiDARs (Light Detection and Ranging) with a smaller number of scan channels on an autonomous vehicle to replace a single expensive LiDAR with a larger number of scan channels. As a result, existing SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) algorithms can be used with no modifications developed assuming a single LiDAR. In the paper, the proposed driver was implemented on the Robot Operating System and was evaluated with an existing SLAM algorithm. The results show that the proposed driver, combined with a filter to control the density of points in a 3D map, is compatible with the existing algorithm.

Demand on the nuclear energy in East Asian countries has been grown rapidly to support economic development. After 9.11, nuclear security has become the world wide issue. In addition, unlike to other region, some countries are considering the introduction of nuclear power plants. To meet the challenges a new regional multilateral nuclear approach is proposed aiming at assurance of supply and non -proliferation. The new proposal is based on the principles of confidence building, volunteering, and incentives. The step wise approach is recommended to implement the multilateral system in East Asia.
