Recently, the demand of rural tourism has been increased to promote farm household income and rural economy. Korean government has supported to promote rural tourism. One of the most difficult tasks in estimating the economic impact of the tourism industry is how the industry should be defined in terms of an economic sector, since tourism is not defined in national Input-Output (I-O) tables or in the Standard Industrial Classification code. Moreover, there is no specified Standard Industrial Classification for rural tourism. The purpose of the study aims to examine specified Standard Industrial Classification of rural tourism using the I-O model analysis to estimate the economic impacts of rural tourism. Results showed that there were two components considered as inputs. One is the inputs that final demand can move to input of rural tourism in I-O tables. The other is one that the final demand was provided by farm household as intermediate inputs.

Recently rural healing tourism has been attracting tourists' interest in relieving mental stress and restoring physical daily life with nature-friendly experience. The purpose of this study is to explore the urgent problems and challenges of rural healing tourism by conducting focus group interview(FGI) with experts. Fourteen experts were interviewed with a semi-structured questionnaire. From the interview data, six themes were identified for direction of healing tourism development. The results of the study are as follows; The area of rural healing tourism can be explained within the framework of health tourism. As for the difference between rural tourism and healing tourism, rural tourism is expected to enhance physical and mental relaxation, daily restoration, and health promotion if rural tourism expects the understanding and experience of agricultural and rural life, and educational effect. The core components of rural healing tourism were operators' expertise, program with rurality, ecological environment, and storytelling. The findings of this paper implicate the underlying dimension of rural healing tourism from a experts' perspective.

Leisure activity characteristics are related to an individual's stress management as well as quality of life. This study analyzed the relationship between leisure activity characteristics, stress, and quality of life of healing tourists, and analyzed the moderating effect of involvement on rural healing tourism. For this purpose, this study analyzed 658 cases who experienced rural healing tourism. Among the characteristics of leisure activities, the conflict between work and leisure had a positive (+) effect on stress, and that stress had a negative (+) effect on the quality of life. Among the characteristics of leisure activities, social support was found to have a positive (+) effect on the quality of life. In the relationship between stress and quality of life, involvement on rural healing tourism was found to have a moderating effect. The results of this study indicate the importance of social support for work-life balance and leisure, suggesting that daily recovery through rural healing tourism has a positive effect on personal stress management as well as quality of life.

The study used a seasonal ARIMA model to forecast the number of tourists to Kyeongju foreign in a uni-variable time series. Time series monthly data for the investigation were collected ranging from 1995 to 2010. A total of 192 observations were used for data analysis. The date showed that a big difference existed between on-season and off-season of the number of foreign tourists in Kyeongju. In the forecast multiplicative seasonal ARIMA(1,1,0) $(4,0,0)_{12}$ model was found the most appropriate model. Results show that the number of tourists was 694 thousands in 2011, 715 thousands in 2012, 725 thousands in 2013, 738 thousands in 2014, and 884 thousands in 2015. It was suggested that the grasping of the Kyeongju forecast model was very important in respect of how experts in tourism development, policy makers or planners would establish marketing strategies to allocate services in Kyeongju as a tourist destination and provide tourism facilities efficiently.

Tourism has been widely regarded as a mentally and physically healthy pursuit. Emotional experience can increase the restoration effect of tourism. Thus, recent studies in tourism have paid more attention to the benefits of emotional experiences. This study provides and tests a model that examines the relationship emotional experience as mediating variable between perceived service quality and two outcomes (behavioral intention, subjective well-being). The results of a study with rural healing tourists provide support for the proposed model. Specifically, the results indicate that emotional experience partially mediate the relationship between perceived service quality and satisfaction. The results of this study suggest that emotional experience should be considered as important in rural healing tourism services. The study provides empirical validation that customers do, indeed, identify with service providers, and this, in-turn, provides positive consequences for both the service provider (i.e., behavioral intention) and the customer (i.e., subjective well-being).

The aim of this study is to analyze the factors affecting rural tourists' expenditure. This study used the data from the fact-finding survey on rural tourism, and analyzed 4,223 cases who had experienced rural tourism for one year in 2018. The linear multiple regression analysis were used to identify factors affecting rural tourists' expenditure. The result indicate that the factors influencing the rural tourists' total expenditure were age, monthly income, number of accompany, length of stay, accommodation type(pension), accommodation type(friend's house/relatives'house), accommodation type(camping), distance to the destination, accompany(family/relatives), accompany(solo traveler), occupation(white color), motivation(daily escape and rest), motivation(new experience). The result indicate that the higher the age, the higher the average monthly income of the household, the fewer companions, the longer the length of stay higher the expenditure. As for the accommodation, the pension, motel/inn, hotel/condominium, and recreational forest higher probability of expenditure, while, friend/relative's house or camping higher the probability of less expenditure. The longer the distance to the destination, the solo traveler higher the probability of expenditure in rural tourism.

Rural Experiential Tourism is the medium that connect a town and country. Through the form of these Rural Experiential Tourism people live in country sell indigenous products and tourism services. Both people maintain friendly relations with their friendship based on mutual trust. The aim of space planing for experience and development of experience program is make visitors learn many valuable lessons in countryside. So, Two things must discussed closely related. Also it is necessary to mention people to conduct in there. Visitors who live in Gyonggi and Chungcheong province come to frequently Geumgang Nongbau village for a day. They enjoy going for a swimming and fishing in Geumgang. In order to activate specialized experience program, it is necessary to increase the number of those exclusively responsible for that experience program and organization visitors make stay overnight in village. Also to enhancing village people's income must have agricultural stand and activate village internet site.

In this study we shall compare the differences among Korean tourists' behavioral patterns according to tourists' residences by using statistical techniques on questionnaires for 1,372 tourists around Korea. In conclusion, we found varying degrees of influences among touristic behaviors in relation to residences, We documented 11 out of 14 categories of touristic behaviors in urban/rural areas around Korea. And there were 4 out of 14 categories of those found in provincial areas. Characteristics of urban/rural areas had a significant influence on touristic behaviors compared to provincial areas. Therefore, tour authorities provide for a balanced policy of travel around Korea. As mentioned above, these touristic behaviors had many differences according to urban/rural areas and provinces. We are concerned that these differences are likely to cause psychological disturbances among social classes. I hope that these results will be reflected in the development policies of tourist goods and tour sites.
