  • The present study aims at theoretically reviewing studies en the need of alignments among assessment, curriculum and instruction in order to implement the goals of mathematics education. This paper discusses about issues and models fer alignment between instruction and curriculum, and then mainly focuses on alignment of assessment with instruction and curriculum at two levels, classroom and large-scale assessment. It was pointed out that both many published standardized tests for large-scale assessment and classroom assessments failed to meet curricular goals and contents, and instructional methods. The findings imply that reform in mathematics education should not be driven by assessment, but be embedded in instructional practices.

  • This study analyze 42ordinance of a local government for the improvement labor conditions and position of social worker. That way suggest developmental direction of ordinance enactment. The results are as follows. First, there are purpose, subject of application, duty of local government president, condition study, establishment of support plan, improvement labor conditions. But, there are not committee for labor conditions improvement, prize in many ordinance. Second, standard of wage is not, it has to suggesting by the wage standard of social welfare official in local government or Ministry of Health and Welfare. Third, condition study's period and support organization for social worker's labor condition improvement are not clear. Therefore, we must suggest the condition study's period of social worker, and make the support organization for condition improvement.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of resiliency on the relationship between smartphone addiction and subjective happiness among university students. Participants included 570 students attending universities in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam areas using self-report questionnaires. Data was analyzed with SPS 23.0 using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, hierarchical multiple regression, and Sobel test with SPSS 23.0. The study results were as follows: first, as smartphone addiction increased, subjective happiness decreased (${\beta}=-.17$, p<.001). Second, as smartphone addiction increased, resiliency decreased (${\beta}=-.24$, p<.001). Third, as resilience increased, subjective happiness increased (${\beta}=.36$, p<.001). Fourth, resiliency partially mediated the relationship between smartphone addiction and subjective happiness (Z=-4.645, p<.001), and explained 16% of the variance. Findings show that resiliency can play a role in improving subjective happiness of university students. Finally, the implications and limitations of findings were discussed based on the results.

The Mediating Effect of Strengths Use on the Relation of Strengths Knowledge and Career Decision Level among College Students: Multi-Group Analysis based on Goal Orientation Type (대학생의 강점인식과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 강점활용의 매개효과 검증: 목표지향성 유형에 따른 다집단 분석)

  • This study examined the mediating effects of strengths use on the relation of strengths knowledge and career decision level among 393 college students. To analyze the data, the structural equation modeling were used. Finally, the mediating model examined the differences between goal orientation(validation-seeking orientation, growth-seeking orientation) of Dykman by carrying out of multi-group analysis. The results were as followed. First, strengths use partially mediated the relationship between strengths knowledge and career decision level. Second, the mediating model showed variation in different goal orientation type group. In other words, strengths knowledge occurs more severely and distinctively impact on career decision level in growth-seeking group than validation-seeking group. Based on the findings, implications for counseling practice, limitations of this study and recommendations for future study were discussed.

  • The Demand-Control model has been one of the most popular theoretical models to explain job stress. This study extends the Demand-Control model to the team level and examines the relationship between job demand and job stress to tests the moderating effect of the `team relationship climate' on the relationship between job demand and job stress. Data were collected from 34 teams across 19 organizations and analyzed using HLM. The results showed that job demand was significantly related to job stress. Based on the team level analysis, the team relationship climate was found to moderate the relationship between job demand and job stress. In addition, the consideration behavior by the leader was significantly correlated with the team relationship climate. Finally the theoretical and practical implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

  • The present study was conducted to investigate the influences of emotion priming and the number of negation words on the task of sentential predicate reasoning in groups with or without anxiety symptoms. 3 types of primed emotions and 2 types of stimulus and 3 conditions of negation words were used as a within-subject variable. The subjects were instructed to make facial expressions that match the directions, and were asked to choose the correct answer from the given examples. Mixed repeated measured ANOVA analyses on reaction time first showed main effects for the variables of emotion, stimulus, number of negation words and anxiety level, and the interaction effects for the negation words x anxiety combination. These results are presumably suggested to reflect that externally intervening emotion works on language comprehension in a way that anxiety could delay task processing speed regardless of the emotion and stimulus type, meanwhile the number of negation words can slower language processing only in a anxiety group. Implications and limitations were discussed for the future work.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine effects of socio-demographic, health, and delinquent behavior factors on internet addiction among the Korean youth. This study used the 2009 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey data. It selected 73,238 cases of junior and senior high school students from the raw data and conducted a secondary data analysis. Frequency analysis, chi-square test and logistic regression analysis was conducted. Being male, living without parents, low economic status, poor academic record, poor subjective health status, poor subjective well-being, high level of stress, presence of depression and experience of drug use significantly increased likelihood of internet addiction. Findings may be used for developing strategies to deal with internet addiction among adolescents in Korea.

  • According to a number of recent studies, Korean students' affective achievement was at much lower level than cognitive achievement, which indicated the needs for nationwide researches. Although a variety of effort was put into finding ways to improve students' affective achievement, few researches focused on teachers was being underway. Thus, this study was conducted with 327 secondary school mathematics teachers in Gyeonggi-do- by survey method to investigate on how teachers feel affective domain in their teaching practice, how much they it into account at class, and what their wills or plans are to put it into action. According to the results, there existed a distinctive gap between teachers and students in affective domain.

  • In this study, the characteristics of visually impaired elementary students' conceptions on dissolution were investigated. The semi-structured interviews about phenomenon of dissolution, uniformity of solution, conservation of mass on dissolving and volume change during dissolving were conducted with 4 fifth-grade elementary students with visual impairments (three were blind, and one had low-vision). Interviews were recorded and the data were analyzed after transcription. As a result, students with visual impairments knew well about the phenomenon of dissolution, uniformity of solution, and conservation of mass on dissolving, while they couldn't explain volume change during dissolving. Although students with visual impairments were found to have similar level of understanding with students without visual impairments, they had sounder understanding about uniformity of solution. However, students with visual impairments had superficial understanding based on phenomenal experiences. Some of students with visual impairments tried to give micro-level explanation. Based on these results, educational implications were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there are differences in adolescents' school adaptation according to the types of perceived parental attitudes and consistency. For this purpose, 586(306 girls) middle and high school students were surveyed about their perceived parental attitudes and school adjustment, and the differences were verified through multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results showed that the adolescents' school adaptation was different according to the types of parental attitudes. Affection - autonomy cohort group's school adjustment was significantly higher than the other groups. In addition, the hostility - control group were found to have lower adaptation level than the disagreement group. Based on this results, we discussed the importance and influences of parental attitude and suggested the directions of follow up studies on parenting attitude and adaptation.
