안동에 있는 소문난 제과점은 상호만큼이나 친근한 것이 많다. 아버지와 어머니는 빵을 만들고 아들은 양과자를 만든다. 그리고 며느리는 케이크를 만들고, 함께 빵을 만든다는 일이 그들을 가족 이상으로 묶어준다는 느낌이다. 서로를 아껴주는 그들의 사랑이 녹아 빵맛이 더욱 좋은 그곳을 찾았다.

Ginseng plants in the 2nd year were grown under the shade (90-95%) of colored cellophane films at $15^{\circ}C$ in a natural light phytotron. Relative root grown (final/initial) was in decreasing order of blue, green, white, yellow and red. The growth of aerial part, especially stem length was poorest in blue light with relative root growth negatively correlated with stem length. In this relation each color showed specific domain. Stem length showed positive linear correlation with leaf area per plant in each and among light though it was not significant in red light. The content and ratio of chlorophyll a and b in leaf were in the decreasing order of White, Blue, Green, Red and Yellow. There is positive correlation between chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, and between total chlorophyll and chl:a/b ratio. Blue color shade is expected to be beneficial for ginseng production.

The soluble paclitaxel was found in the supernatant of the plant cell cultures of Taxus chinensis, The percentage of soluble paclitaxel depends on paclitaxel concentration in bioreactor. As paclitaxel concentration decreases the percentage of soulbe paclitaxel increases. it is therefore important to develop a new process for the recovery of soluble paclitaxel. The use of hydrophobic resin HP20 gives nearly perfect recovery of paclitaxel in supernatant. The resin was more effective in treatment of th cell and debris free filtrate probably because of the reduced solids content In this case 3 g.l resin and 1 day reaction were enough for recovery the soluble paclitaxel in medium.

We conducted preservation treatment for 25 pieces of coins of Goryeo era in collection of the National Museum of Korea. Object coins are 5 kinds of 'Donggukjungbo', 'Dongguktongbo', 'Haedongtongbo', 'Haedongjungbo', 'Samhanjungbo'. As it is worried that if all chlorides able to make bad influence on reclics are removed, letter and chape of coin can be damaged, they were removed partially. To date, inscribed letter form of Dongguktongbo is known as more than 6 types, and as a result of interpreting X-ray photos, 3 types of inscribed letters were identified by this study. Bronze rust acquired in the process of removing rust on coins, origin of materials for coin was assumed through lead isotope ratio analysis. Latest tendency is that diverse scientific analyses are conducted based on bronze rust.

Baikhaju, Nockpaju, Dongdongju and Chungmyungju of the traditional Yakjus - the native alcoholic beverage of Korea - with the different fermentation methods were brewed and the volatile odor components were analized by gas chromatography methods of headspace gas. The general constituent content in them was different a little, and formaldehyde, acetone, acetaldehyde, ethylacetate, ethylalcohol, n-propanol, iso-butanol, iso-amylalcohol, diacetyl and dimethyl sulfide were separated and quantified into the volatile aroma components. The contents of acetaldehyde, ethylacetate and n-propanol were $17{\sim}73ppm$, and iso-amylalcohol were $418{\sim}925ppm$. The contents of formaldehyde and acetone were $0{\sim}2.15ppm$, and that of diacetyl and dimethyl sulfide were $0.032{\sim}1.012ppm$, and $5{\sim}65ppb$.

In this study, It obtained results that the exact spherical diopter to practice test by using Cross cyliner lens and Red Green Card method. In the test used to the 1750 eyes of middle and high school students. The results was as follows ; 1. Using Cross cylinder lens method, I tested a exact spherical diopter after accommodation. At -0.25 Dptr the ratio of spherical Dptr error limits were measured as 58% and at -0.75 Dptr they were oppeared as 1%, at -1.00 Dptr they are not measured. In this method, the error limits of exact spherical Dptr was 91% from 0 Dptr to -0.25 Dptr. 2. Using Red Green Card method, they were measured as 45% at -0.25 Dptr. and measured as 20% at -0.50 Dptr. From the result of these test, Cross cylinder lens method was a better detailed method than Red Green Card method.

Effects of heating, pH, organic acids and some salts on color changes of ground garlic, expressed by Hunter color values, were investigated during storage. The organic acids, such as acetic, citric and lactic acids rather enhanced greening, while NaCl affected little. As the pH decreased to 4.0, greening was significantly reduced. Among the several phosphates tested, $Na_{2}HPO_{4}\;and\;Na_{3}PO_{4}$ showed some positive effects and other chemicals, such as BHA, BHT, propyl gallate and glutathione showed little or negative effects on both greening and browning of ground garlic. Heating at $80^{\circ}C$ for up to 10 mins at pH range of $3.0{\sim}5.0$ caused a severe greening mostly, while heating at $90\;and\;100^{\circ}C$ for 30 mins or longer resulted in a decrease in greening and an increase in yellow color of ground garlic.

A new gerbera cultivar 'Noble Pink' was released by the National Institute of Horticultural & Herbal Science (NIHHS) in 2009. A cross was made between 'Himalaya' with white and semi-double and 'Vital' with pastel cream and single in 2006. After investigation of the characteristics for four years (from 2006 to 2009), it was selected specially for the use of cut flower. 'Noble Pink' is a vigorous cultivar with pastel pink flower color (RHS R48B), brilliant green disc floret and semi-double. The average flower diameter is 11.8 cm, large flower. And inner ray floret and disc diameter are 4.77 cm and 2.17 cm, respectively. It produces a large yield with continuous supply of cut flowers and has adequate peduncle height. We believe that 'Noble Pink' has a great potential for expanding cultivated area of domestic gerbera cultivars and increasing farmers-income.

In this study, a development of the rust formation arising from steel corrosion was modelled to quantify the structural impact in steel reinforced concrete. The interfacial gap, cover depth and diameter of steel rebar were taken for variables in modelling. It was found that the interfacial gap was the most influencing on the structural limit at steel corrosion, followed by steel diameter and cover depth. At 75 mm of cover depth with 20 mm of the steel diameter, the rust amount to reach cracking accounted for 16.95-27.69 ㎛ to 1-10 ㎛ of the interfacial gap. It was found that there was no risk of cracking and structural limit until the rust was formed within the interfacial gap. With a further formation of rust, the concrete section was successively behaved to yielding, cracking and failure. Additionally, the interfacial gap was the most dominant parameter for the rust amount to reach the cracking of concrete at the interfacial zone, whilst the cover depth had a marginal effect on cracking but had a crucial influence on the rust to failure.
