A Study On The Optimum Road Design in Jeju Island Using Digital Photogrammetry and GSIS (수치사진측량과 GSIS를 이용한 최적노선선정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to design a road using digital photogrammatry method to generate DEM(digital elevation model) and digital ortho image based on GSIS which was applied to the road simulation. The example study area was the suburbs of Jeju city. To this study, 1/5,000 digital map and GSIS technique were used for optimum road design of the island based on Arc View software. Using this software we can Set an overlay map by combination of hill shade map, slope map, aspect map, and building buffer map. Based on this overlap map, we designed the best road line and along this line we performed three dimensional road simulation using Microstation CAD and Inroads road design programs. From the results, we found that the DEM and digital ortho image acquired from stereoairphoto using digital photogrammatry was satisfied for choosing the best roadline and the developed three dimensional road simulation technique using GSIS technique was very useful to estimate the reasonable road design before the real road construction works.

  • 본 논문에서는 교통 분야의 새로운 미래 성장동력분야 창출로 Global Standard도출하여 세계시장 선점 및 진출하자는 거대한 목표에 따라 IT기반의 네트워크 운행제어 시스템을 바탕으로 차량, 전력, 분기, 선로구축물 등의 하부시스템의 각종방식을 비교 및 검토하여 열차 시스템에 부합되게 선정하는 시스템설계를 수행하였다. 본 소형궤도열차시스템은 전세계적으로 영업운행 중인 노선이 없고, 운영 및 설계개념, 시스템 구성 등도 나라마다 상이하여 시스템의 개념정립을 통한 개발목표 사양(안)을 결정하는데 크게 참고가 될 만한 해외시스템이 많지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이와 같이 제한된 참고자료와 경량전철시스템 기술개발사업에서 축적된 시스템엔지니어링 기술을 활용하여 첨단성, 친환경성, 경제성을 갖춘 소형궤도열차 시스템의 설계를 수행하였고 시스템을 구성하는 하부시스템을 정의하였다.

  • One of the important factor for port selection is total handling charge(THC) of container terminal, and consequence of that the actual cost is vital for variation of THC. However, a great majority of the reported ABC applications have been limited to manufacturing and a little has been written on how the ABC approach can be used for logistics company especially for container terminal. This study proposes the applicable conceptual framework and cost management model based on Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing for container terminal.

  • Selecting a railroad line requires the comparative evaluation of various elements. As a systematic approach to this selection it will be necessary to apply the VE study and the LCC analysis. This study proposes a methodology for selecting the optimum line of the ralroad using VE-LCC analysis. The VE study is performed by following four steps : Information analysis, Function analysis, Alternative evaluation, and Optimum plan selection. The economics evaluation in VE study is using LCC analysis and Sensitivity analysis. Cost items in LCC analysis are classified into bridge, tunnel, rail, and earthwork. We could select the optimum alte-rnatives considering not only cost elements hut also various evaluation element in VE-LCC analysis.   • 국내의 응급의료체계는 119구급대와 1339 응급의료 정보센터간의 이원화된 체계로 구축되어 있다. 하지만 두 기관간의 긴밀한 연계체계의 부족으로 응급의료기관이나 의료기관으로의 이송된 자 중 이송의료 기관 선정이 부적절한 경우가 상대적으로 높게 된다. 또한 각각의 환경에 맞게 구축된 병원 정보시스템의 이질성으로 응급환자의 효율적인 이송체계 수립이 어려운 실정이다. 멀티 에이전트의 자율적이며 독립적은 성향은 이질적인 병원 정보 시스템에서 효과적으로 상호운용할 수 있는 가능성을 높여주며 점점 복잡해지는 응급 의료 상황에 대하여 동적으로 행동할 수 있게 해준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 응급환자의 정보를 통해 실시간으로 응급환자에게 가장 적절한 후보 병원을 결정하여 동적으로 응급환자의 병원 이송체계를 수립할 수 있는 의사결정 지원 시스템을 제안한다.

  • This study has been carried out to lay out a scheme to increase the recreational functions of the forests through improvement of trail environment. To achieve the objective, environmental characteristics of the trails, actual condition of the users, and status of the park management were investigated in the suburb parks of Tokyo, Japan in 1996. As the results, the managing agency of investigated parks has been set itself to activate the use rather than environment conservation and improvement of recreational environment in forests. However, for taking into account the behavior and the purpose of visits in forest, the enhancement of scenic quality and amenity in the parks is a pressing need in recreational conditions. Therefore, to increase the recreational functions in forests, selection of courses and keeping of natural trails in good condition, control of users to ensure amenity, introduction of planting methods to enhance scenic quality and educational effects, and management to efficient conservation of nature ecosystem are required.

  • After the railway reform in 2004, Korea National Railroad was divided into two separate organizations. The Korea Railway Network Authority is responsible for the construction of new line. Korea Railroad corporation is a public-owned railway operator. The compensation for the loss of rail operator from the Public Service Obligation(PSO) observance is specified in the Law of Rail Industry Development No.32, No.33. However, it is necessary to revise the compensation criteria of PSO after the actual enforcement of the law for more efficient rail operation. This study aims for revising compensation criteria of PSO. In this study, we suggested a revised compensation criteria. The scope of compensation for the loss of regional line operation was adjusted by new criteria considering the characteristics and the business results of the line. The compensation rate is linked with the actual business results of the line for giving motivation to the rail operator.

  • While a detailed cost estimation utilizes the comprehensive quantity information obtained from a complete drawing and specification, an approximate cost estimation heavily relies on the subjective decisions. This phenomenon is because the approximate estimation is usually conducted in early stage of the construction phase where the drawing and specification are not available. This study developed a roadway construction cost estimation system which enables users to estimate the approximated cost of the project in early stage. The system identifies the variation of the construction costs due to the road route change using a cased based reasoning(CBR) method. Overall the system is expected to improves the accuracy and effectiveness of the estimation process, because it would provide users with increased accessability and consistent results in early stage of the project which leaded to the increased work transparency.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the methodologies, using GIS techniques, to appraise the parcel prices and to estimate the compensation expenditures according to road expansions. This study consists of 2 parts. The first pare is to find out the ways for appraisal of patrol prices in certain area by the publicly announced land prices. The second part is to estimate the differences of compensation expenditures according to road expansion methods. The conclusions are as follows. First, to appraise the target parcel prices, a comparison to the publicly announced land prices should be used. For this, 19 items of land characteristics of existing land information should be analyzed and compared using GIS techniques. Second, the compensation expenditure could be easily estimated using GIS techniques too. In this process, if necessary, we have to apply the minimum parcel size in Building Codes.

  • Recently the deeply underground tunnels have been increased along the subway railroads of urban area compared to the past subway railroads. The Shin-Gum-Ho subway station (the Fifth lines, the depth : 46m) which is the third among the deep subway stations in the Korea was chosen as the model of deeply underground stations, and attempted to do simulation of fire. This station consists of three entrance, the basement first floor (B1), the basement second floor (B2), the basement eighth floor or platform (B8) and escalators and stairs from B2 to B8. The total number of grid was about 9,000,000 to make simulation of fire and smoke from the platform to entrance in this research, and the grid system was divided into 19 blocks to increase the efficiency of this simulation. The FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulation) was chosen to make the simulation of fire, and the model of turbulent flow was LES (Large Eddy Simulation). Each block is processed in a CPU using parallel processing of MPI (Message Passing Interface). The resource of CPU for this simulation is a ten of Intel 3.0 GHz Dual CPU (20 CPU).
