An Analysis on Marx's Labour Process Focusing on the Dimension of Capability and Execution (능력과 실행의 차원에서 본 맑스의 노동과정 분석)

  • Since Aristotle, human capability has been understood as the form of existence. The capability is presupposed before execution in mainstream economics, Marx's capitalist labour process, even socialist labour process. Of course, Marx shows that the value of capability and execution is different in capitalist labour process. Also Marx points out heteronomy that producer can't have products as his own. Even socialist labour process can't cut off shackles of heteronomy. It is necessary to change way of thinking in order to cut off shakles of heteronomy and to develop human's full potential. The changing way of thinking is to restore labour into primary labour which is purpose as life itself not means. Human capability is potential. We can't define potential as the form of existence. Human capability is promoted by free will. True freedom promoting human capability is realized by rebuilding in individual property depending on distribution principle by the needs in the association of free individuals.

  • 출판.인쇄분야가 노동부와 한국산업인력공단(이사장 이동훈)이 국가차원에서 표준화한 국가직업능력표준에 포함됐다. 국가직업능력 표준 개발은 노동부가 지난 2002년 5월 산업인력공단 중앙고용정보원에 국가직업능력표준개발기획단을 구성해 국가직업능력표준 개발현황, 모형설계, 활용방안 연구와 일부 영역의 개발을 위탁함으로써 이뤄졌다. 이를 통해 노동부와 산업인력공단은 2004년에 출판.인쇄, 환경서비스, 마케팅, 기계장치설치 및 유지보수, 건설시공 등 5개 영역(34직종)의 직업능력표준 개발을 완료했고 향후 매년 20~30개 영역을 개발하여 2008년까지 총 100개 영역에 대해 개발한다는 계획이다.

  • 근래 우리나라에서도 평균수명이 길어져 노동의욕이 있는 중고령자가 증가하는 한편, 출산율이저 하되어 젊은 근로자의 수가 감소되고 있다. 통계청의 인구통계과의 추계에 의하면 2000년에는 60세 이 상이 총인구에 점하는 비율이 10.7%, 65세 이상은 6.8%가 되고, 2020년에는 60세 이상이 19.5%, 65세 이 상도 12.5%에 도달한다는 것이다. 인구노령화로 인한 고령화 사회에 대한 준비를 서둘러야 할 때라고 생각된다. 또 고령화 사회로 되면 젊은 연령층의 경제적 부담이 증가되므로 중고령자의 노동인구를 이대 로 방치해 두는 것은 국가적으로나 사회복지적으로나 불경제라고 할 수 있다. 그런데, 문제가 되는 것은, 중고령자를 취업시키는 것이 오히려 사회의 생산성을 저하시키거나 경제적으로 불리하게 되어서는 안되는 것과 중고령노동자 자신의 안전을 확보해야 하는 것이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 고용에 있어 서 어떠한 점에서 중고령노동자에게 특징과 문제가 있는가를 분명히 할 필요가 있다. 고령자는 청년자 보다 노동능력이 떨어지는 특징과 문제가 있는가를 분명히 할 필요가 있다. 고령자는 청년자 보다 노동능력이 떨어지는 경향이 있지만 개인차도 크고 고령자 중에는 청년자의 기능에 비교해도 뒤떨어지지 않는 자도 있다. 연령만으로 노동능력을 판정하는 것은 적절한 방법이라고 할 수 없다. 문헌에 의하면 역연령(chornological age)이 25세의 경우, 생리적 연령은 23세에서 27세로 4년 차이가 있다고 한다. 이러한 생리적 연령의 차이는 역연령이 더해감에 따라서 점차 크게 되어 역연령이 45세에서는 12년, 80세 에서는 20년이나 된다는 것이다. 이것은 인간에 있어서 시간적 경과를 나타내는 역연령 이외에 신체적 기능연령(functional age)가 있다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 한편, 생산현장에서는 자동화, 기계화가 진보되어 육체적인 노동이 경감된 결과, 중고령자라도 할 수 있는 작업이 많아지고 있다. 또, VDT (Visual Dislay Terminal) 작업과 같은 정보처리 작업의 수요가 증가하여 그 인재의 부족이 지적되고 있다. 따라서 중고령자의 기능을 조사하여 어떠한 작업에 적합한가를 판단하는 것이 중요한 과제로 되었다. 그러나 노동에는 많은 기능이 관여 하고, 그 내용에 따라서 요구되는 기능이 서로 다르기 때문에 노동적응능력의 기본적인 기능으로 보여지는 것에 좁혀서 작업능력의 연령증가 변화에 대하여다원적 평가를 하는 것이 실제적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인간이 가지고 있는 다수의 기능중에서 수지교 치성과 연령증가와의 관계를 조사한다. 만약 연령증가 만으로 수지교치성을 평가 할 수 없는 경우에는 어떠한 요인이 수지기민성의 변화에 영향을 미치는가를 검토한다.

Mediating Effects of Emotional Labor in the relationships between Communication Ability and Customer Oriented Behaviors: Focusing upon Self-Employed Businessmen (소상공인 커뮤니케이션 능력과 고객지향적 행동 관계에서 감정노동의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of present study is to investigate mediating effects of emotional labor in the links between communication ability of small businessmen and customer orientation behavior. In detail, it is demonstrated both impacts of communication ability on customer orientation behavior and emotional labor (surface acting, deep acting), and of emotional labor (surface acting, deep acting) on customer orientation behavior. Furthermore, mediating effects of emotional labor (surface acting, deep acting) will be verified. The data for analysis was collected from 270 employees in small businessmen located in Jeju. The results are as follows. First, the main impacts of communication ability on customer orientation behavior and emotional labor (surface acting, deep acting) were statistically significant, in addition, emotional labor (surface acting) was positively associated with customer orientation behavior. Surface acting as a mediator was partially mediated the relation. The result will help to understand the importance for communication ability in small businessmen, and it suggests the crucial implecation in the communication study of service suppliers.

Effects of Positive Psychological Capital of Fitness Center Trainers on Emotional Labor and Job Ability (피트니스센터 트레이너의 긍정심리자본이 감정노동, 직무능력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of positive psychological capital of fitness center trainers on emotional labor and job ability. For this purpose, as a convenient sampling method, 265 questionnaires were conducted by directly visiting a fitness center in the metropolitan area, and item analysis, validity analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were applied to the collected data. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were obtained. First, in the relationship between positive psychological capital and emotional labor, it exerted a meaningful influence on hope and optimism in deep acting and superficial acting. Next, in the relationship between positive psychological capital and job competency, leadership ability is self-efficacy, hope, management ability is optimism, hope, counseling ability is hope, optimism, self-efficacy, PR ability is self-efficacy, optimism, and program operation ability is optimism. exerted a significant influence on elasticity. In relation to emotional labor and job competency, counseling ability exerted a significant influence only in deep acting, and in leadership ability, management ability, PR ability, and program operation ability, deep acting and surface acting exercised a significant influence. In the future, it is necessary to study the characteristics and properties of trainers as emotional labor and follow-up studies on improvement measures.

  • Our country is a nation accomplished the economic growth and democracy at the same time on the bases of human capitals. However, the laborers as human capitals are aging as well due to the population aging. These aging phenomena are impacting on our country's economy, society, and through the culture. It seems to increase the proportion of the elderly in the labor market of private security caused by continuously increasing the number of elderly employees in long-term trend and their preferences for the security services. These changes of labor market trend may result various problems including relevant laws and systems, the changes of laborers' ability, increase of crimes and so on. To prevent such potential problems, firstly the limits of maximum working hours of elderly private guards have to be set up, and the rest times for them must be secured. Furthermore, the declines of elderly laborers' abilities have to be reduced through the systematic educations relevant to their jobs to cover the rapidly declining elderly laborers' physical abilities. Lastly, the increase of crimes should be reduced through the education contents to be able to arouse their attentions by extending the time of job training and informing of criminal cases.

  • This study examines how the unobserved heterogeneity of workers, measured by residuals of the wage equation, affects the entry into self-employment using KLIPS 1998-2008. Following Joona and Wadensjo(2013), we treat the residuals as unobserved ability and find that both workers with higher and lower ability are more likely to become self-employed. However, this U-Shape relationship no longer holds when the sample is divided into males and females. The study also finds that the relationship between ability and entry into self-employment has changed over time, and that ability is positively associated with the performance of self-employed.

Convergence Effects of Empathy Ability, Emotional Intelligence on Emotional Labor in some Dental Hygienists (일부 치과위생사의 공감능력과 감성지능이 정서노동에 미치는 융합적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among emotional labor, empathy ability, emotional intelligence in dental hygienists. A convenience sample of 192 registered hygienists was obtained from dental clinic in a city. Data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire during January, 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0. The mean score for emotional labor was $3.61{\pm}0.24$, empathy ability was $3.01{\pm}0.28$, and Emotional intelligence was $3.47{\pm}0.24$. In multiple regression analysis, factors related to emotional labor were empathy ability of hygiests, emotional intelligence. The explained variable for emotional labor was 26%(F=13.58, p<.001). Findings from this study indicate the need to evaluate and improve the intervention program for hygienists to decrease emotional labor.

Empirical Analysis on Labor Market Slackness and Monetary Policy Implications in Korea (우리나라 노동시장의 유휴생산능력 추정 및 통화정책에 대한 시사점 분석)

  • After the global financial crisis, doubts have been raised about the usefulness of traditional unemployment rate for the labor market slackness, hence, this study provides alternative indicators that can help estimate the labor market slackness in Korea, and investigates the degree of biasness of traditional indices of Korean labor market. In particular, this study intends to focus on the possibility of employing the labor underutilization index officially announced by Statistics Korea (KOSIS) from 2015. To do this, we first define the labor underutilization indices from 2003 to 2014 by applying current definitions of labor underutilization indices retrospectively to these periods. Based on these indices, the empirical analysis shows that the employment gap using labor underutilization indices is highly correlated with total output gap, and has significantly improved the performance of forecasting inflation rate compared to other labor market slackness indicators.
