Recently, hand washing has been emphasized as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS) threatened public health. This study aimed to prevent MERS by hand washing frequency and analyzed the relationship between hand washing behavior and trait anxiety, locus of control and health promotion behavior. In this study, 314 nursing students participated in a survey where they could indicate what they did and the frequency of hand washing for preventing MERS. They also responded to questions related to the trait anxiety, locus of control, and health promotion behavior. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. The frequency of hand washing was highest among the measures that the participants used and it was significantly related to the participants who reported high scores for the importance of hand washing. In addition, the importance of hand washing was impacted by the internal locus of control. Most nursing students who participated the survey acknowledged that hand washing was the most important method for preventing MERS. Therefore, it is important to educate people on the importance of hand washing and pay attention to personal characteristics, such as internal locus of control to promote hand-washing.

This methodological study was conducted to test a Professional Moral Courage Scale(PMCS) translated in Korean for 196 nursing students in Changwon, Korea. Data were collected from January 13 to February 20, 2017. An internal consistency reliability and construct validity using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted. These items were categorized into 4 factors explained 62.20% of the total variance. 4 factor model was validated by CFA(${\chi}2/df=1.89$, p<.001, RMR=.055, GFI=.93, AGFI=.89, CFI=.92, RMSEA=.067). The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was .79 and the reliability of subscales ranged from .44 to .80. The results show that this scale can provide scientific and empirical data when evaluating the PMCS of further clinical nurses, it is meaningful in the sense that it is the first attempt to measure the moral courage needed to provide a good nursing.

The purpose of the present study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Korean version of PANSI(Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation: K-PANSI) scale which was developed to measure adolescents' suicide ideation. The study sample consisted of 552 middle school students using a questionnaire survey including the K-PANSI. A reliability analysis, a correlation analysis, and a confirmatory factor analysis were used to test internal consistency(Cronbach alpha), criterion validity (with respect to CES-D, BDI, RES, SWLS), and construct validity. Major study findings are as follows. First, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ of the K-PANSI scale is supported to some degree by significant correlations with CES-D, BDI, RES, SWLS. Lastly, the confirmatory factor analysis of the K-PANSI scale showed that a two factor model was appropriate with 66.0 percent of explanatory power. These findings suggest that the K-PANSI scale could be used as a reliable and valid measure for adolescent' suicide ideation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among self-efficacy, self-determinative motivation and creative thinking ability. And to confirm the relative predictive power of motivation variables in predicting middle school students' creative thinking ability. The instruments used in this study were 'TTCT', 'Self-efficacy' and 'Self-Regulation Scale'. Self-reported response data on these instruments from 212 middle school students in Seoul were analyzed. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, multiple stepwise regression analysis by using SPSS 18.0. The major results of this study were as follows; First, the correlations among self-efficacy, self-determinative motivation and creative thinking ability were significant. Second, Task difficulty preferred, self-control efficacy and internal motivation were the best predictor of creative thinking ability in middle school students. This study suggested that Task difficulty preferred, self-control efficacy and internal motivation is essential to improve creative thinking ability in middle school students.

This study regards the savoring, emotion and happiness of 232 equestrians who participated in leisure sports horse riding. First, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted to extract the main variables and to verify the validity of the study. Second, correlation analysis was performed to find out the correlation between major variables. Third, path analysis was performed to derive the final result of this study. In addition, we conducted a reliability analysis of major measurement tools to determine internal consistency(Conbach's ${\alpha}$) utilizing IBM SPSS 21.0 and IBM AMOS 21.0. The results show that past recall had a statistically significant negative impact on negative emotions and future expectations had a negative impact on positive emotions. Also, future expectations showed a statistically significant effect on euphoria and positive emotions had positive effects on happiness.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 Hawk(2007)이 자녀 및 양육과 관련된 부모의 의도적 사고로 제시한 메타양육(MPQ) 척도를 한국 어머니들을 대상으로 타당화하는 것이다. 연구결과 첫째, 원래 MPQ에는 예상, 평가, 반성적 사고, 문제해결 등 4개의 요인이 있었으나 본 연구에서는 예상 요인과 반성적 사고 요인이 같은 요인으로 추출되었다. 둘째, 한국 어머니들은 미국 어머니보다 메타양육 수준이 높았으나 상대적으로 예상과 반성적 사고 요인에 더 높은 점수를, 그리고 문제해결에 더 낮은 점수를 나타내고 있었다. 그러나 한국 어머니들을 대상으로 한 K-MPQ는 상당히 안정적 구조로 높은 내적 일치도를 보였다. 셋째, 한국 어머니들의 메타양육 요인들은 대체로 양육신념 및 양육실제와 정적 상관이 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of spirituality of nursing college student on spiritual wellbeing. We collected data by conducting structural survey to 148 freshmen from 2 nursing college from October to December, 2014. The collected data was analyzed through SPSS 18 program by mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regressions. As for the correlation between subdivisions of spirituality and spiritual wellbeing, the result showed statistically significant positive relationship in all of the subdivisions. As for the multiple regression analysis result, the variables influencing religious wellbeing such as religious status, daily devotion, and inner resource of spirituality had 65.1% of explanation power, while the variables influencing existential wellbeing such as meaning of life, inner resource had 59.3% of explanation power. We expect this study will provide with base data to develop the improvement program of spiritual wellbeing considering the quality of nursing college student.
