The purpose of this study is to develop a nursing clinical practice education model that applies case-based learning and co-teaching to nursing students, and to secure the validity of the developed model. To verify the validity of the nursing clinical practice education model, it was applied to the subject of 'Health Response and Nursing VI (Perception/ Cognition) Practice' in the 2nd semester of 2021 at J University in Jeonju, and the instructor's response to the model was evaluated. Surveys and focus group interviews were conducted on confidence in clinical practice and teaching and learning models. After deriving the case-based learning stage and co-teaching elements through a review of precedent literature and case studies, an initial model was devised after expert review, and the devised model was reviewed for internal validity by nursing education experts, and then modified and supplemented. As a result of the learner response evaluation conducted after applying the model to the clinical practice subject for external validation verification, the confidence in clinical performance was 4.22 points and the satisfaction with the teaching-learning model was 4.68 points. Summarizing the results of the focus group interview, the importance of prior learning and the learning of selected cases based on actual cases, learning terminology and professional knowledge, eliminated fear of the practice field, felt familiar, and learned various cases. He said that he was able to think critically through the time to organize the knowledge learned in the practice field. In addition, through co-teaching, it was found that field leaders and advisors taught the theoretical and practical aspects at the same time through examples, thereby experiencing practical education closer to practice. It is expected that the nursing clinical practice education model developed through this study, applying case-based learning and co-teaching, will be an effective teaching and learning model that can reduce the gap between theory and practice and improve the clinical performance of nursing students.
This research has its purpose of developing a tool to assess the needs of the Korean elderly at home population and to provide adequate services by evaluating their physical, psychological, and socio-environmental aspects. This developed tool is composed of two hundred questions and has the advantage of combined physical, psychological and social environmental situation assessment of the elderly at home. The tool also contains not only the objective view of the professionals, but also the subjective appeals of the elderly at home population so that it can reflect their substantial desires. The assessment tool was developed over 21 months from July, 2004 to March, 2006 and this period can be divided into three different stages. In the first stage, collecting of questions for the desire-focused assessment of the elderly by literature investigation and researching foreign source materials was carried out, and this ultimately developed assessment tool was applied to the long-term care insurance pilot project in the second stage. In this process, we revised some insufficiencies of this tool after we applied to elderly of 250 from the pilot project and other 200 elderly from this research team. For the last stage, the tool was completed by using inquiries of the focused group and the group of professionals to ensure its reliability and validity. In the process of developing the tool, the total of 200 questions under 13 subcategories was selected. The 13 subcategories are basic information, subjective appeals, information of the main helper, use of services, house environment, condition of health, condition of rehabilitation, daily living(ADL, IADL, defecation, assistance), social maintenance, behavioral disability, medical health, living habits, and strength. This tool is on the purpose to assess thoroughly the desires that the elderly at home population has and to provide the best service they need.
The purpose of this study was to examine the levels of sustainability of marine sport events by types of events and thus to provide fundamental information that helps developing sustainable marine sport events. In order to accomplish such the purpose, this study employed survey methodology with a total of 285 visitors to marine sport events. Questionnaires were developed based on Tripple Bottom Line theory suggested by previous research and validated throughout a panel of experts to check out content validity. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA with Scheffe post hoc tests. Accordingly following findings were derived from current study. First, among 12 positive sustainability variables, marine space improvement had the highest mean score(M=3.82) but creation of jobs had the lowest mean score(M=3.46). Among 11 negative sustainability variables, traffic jab had the highest mean score(M=3.16) but conflict between participants and residents had the lowest mean score(M=2.73). Second, a festival typed marine sport event had the significantly high mean scores in all positive sustainability index including economic sustainability(M=3.79), social sustainability(M=3.84) and environmental sustainability(M=3.80). Third, a business typed marine sport event had the relatively higher mean scores in all negative sustainability index including economic sustainability(M=3.22), social sustainability(M=3.26) and environmental sustainability(M=3.25). In conclusion, these findings suggest that marine sport event organizers concentrate on marine sport event with more sustainability potentials.
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the evaluation criteria for gifted curriculum in visual arts. For this purpose, a draft of evaluation criteria for gifted curriculum in arts were first developed through literature review and opinions of experts in educational assessment, gifted education, visual art education. Then, the Delphi method was employed to validate the evaluation criteria. Delphi survey was carried out twice with 30 panelists consisting of experts in educational assessment, experts in gifted education, experts in arts(gifted) education and administrators in gifted education. Delphi survey was analyzed using the mean, content validity ratio, and the degree of consensus. Results were as followed. First, 58 evaluation criteria for gifted curriculum in arts were developed through literature review and expert opinions. The evaluation criteria included 12 context evaluation criteria, 25 input evaluation criteria, 12 process evaluation criteria, and 9 product evaluation criteria. Second, through the first and second Delphi survey, 2 evaluation criteria were not validated and finally were removed. The final evaluation criteria included 12 context evaluation criteria, 25 input evaluation criteria, 10 process evaluation criteria, and 9 product evaluation criteria. The evaluation criteria developed by this study can be used as a standard to establish the institution assessment system at the national level and evaluate institutions and programs.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the primary care quality of a public health center in a rural area using the Korean Primary Care Assessment Tool (KPCAT). It also examined some methodological issues in applying the KPCAT and interpreting its results. Methods: Seventy-nine patients who had visited their doctor more than four times responded to the KPCAT questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and a radar chart were used in analyzing data. Sign test was used to test the KPCAT score difference by don't know option scoring methods. Results: Median and interquartile range of the public health center's KPCAT scores were forty-five and sixteen points, respectively. Only the median of the first contact domain reached the expected value of seventy-five points. The proportions of those who scored under the expected value were under fifty percent in two of four comprehensiveness items, all of three coordinating function items, two of five personalized items and all of four family/community orientation items. There were some methodological issues including, how to score don't know option and make sure response scale consistency. Conclusions: There was much room to improve the primary care quality of the rural public health center. Especially, improvement is needed in the domain of coordinating function and family/community orientation. We also hope that methodological improvement of the KPCAT contributes to more valid and reliable primary care assessment.
The purpose of this study was to extract and validate the educational goals and the subjects for developing a music gifted curriculum. Based on literature review and analysis of music gifted curricula in foreign countries, 19 educational goals and 18 subjects were derived from literature review and analysis of music gifted curricula in foreign countries. To validate the educational goals and the subjects, delphi survey was carried out twice with 26 expert panelists in the field of music, music education and music gifted education. Delphi survey was analyzed using the mean, content validity ratio, and the degree of consensus. The final set of educational goals for music gifted education included 6 skills related goals, 4 creative expression related goals, 4 knowledge related goals, and 2 attitude related goals. The final set of subjects included 4 major-specific subjects, 5 foundational subjects, 4 theory-related subjects, 3 integration and social participation related subjects. The results of this study can be used as baseline data to develop a music gifted curriculum by providing ideas for deciding what to teach and why to teach in music gifted education.
Recently interest and concern about the effectiveness of the transportation investment policy have been increasing because lots of transportation projects reflected to the National Transportation Plan are suspended or delayed during pre-feasibility study. For instance, the criticism such as overlap and deficiency in consistency in appraisal system were aroused because of the waste of budget, time and man-power etc. This is because the Korea government adopted pre-feasibility study for the purpose of efficient use of national budget, but the methodology and the appraisal contents are similar to the existing feasibility study. Also, the feasibility appraisal study was adopted in 1999 for the purpose of establishing efficient transport networks but the feasibility study has been substituting the function which should be conducted by feasibility-appraisal study. In this study, by reviewing the current situation and the purport of introducing these policies, the understanding of these policies could be increased. Then, the plans for improving the efficiency of transportation appraisal system are suggested in the context of strengthening the connectivity between these policies. This study is expected to play an important role in increasing the rationality, consistency and efficiency of transportation investment policies.

Due to the acceleration of medical information age, the semantic interoperability of clinical information is rising up as a major issue. The laboratory results are known as the best significant area among clinical information to be required for exchanging and sharing. The aim of this research is to develop the clinical contents model for exchange laboratory results. This research was conducted from March 2008 to September 2008. Firstly, the method is to get the attributes and codes from LOINC which is one of the standard medical terminology system related to laboratory and the Reference Information Model(RIM) of Health Level 7(HL7). Secondly, the attributes from each work process around orders and reports of laboratory was analyzed. We evaluated the attributes whether they could be represented into the attributes contained in HL7's RIM. Thirdly, the prototype for hemoglobin case using the structure of clinical contents model and defined attribute. Fourthly, the face validity was done by one laboratory physician with four clinicians. The assessment contents were for the suitability involved in representation and exchange with proposed model. The results shows that the model corresponds with the aim of the research. Eventually the proposed model for the exchange of laboratory results could contributes to information interchange according to laboratory area for the future.
Objectives: This study aims to evaluate effectiveness of hypertension prevention and management programs (HPMPs) in rural Korea. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted with 700 community health practitioners working at primary health care posts (PHCPs). The questionnaire had four domains, which were hypertension management, hypertension prevention, the PHCP environment, and evaluation system, each with different maximum weighted values (WVs). Weighted values of 100 indicate the best effectiveness for the HPMP in all four domains. Results: The average WVs and percent effectiveness of all four domains combined was 61.65 (62%); the hypertension management domain was 28.81 (72%); the hypertension prevention domain was 23.44 (67%); the PHCP environment was4.29(43%); and the evaluation system was5.10(34%). Conclusion: The HPMPs were generally effective, and hypertension management was the most effective. The environment of PHCPs and the evaluation system of HPMPs should be improved to increase the effectiveness of the HPMPs.
Objective : The purpose of this study was to develop a competency indicators of occupational therapists for occupation-based intervention by conducting a Delphi survey to occupation-based intervention experts. Methods : After analyzing the data related to occupational therapists indicators in korea, the results of Delphi survey were collected three times from October to December 2016. Based on the results, we developed occupational therapists competency indicators for occupation-based intervention through expert panel's opinions. Results : Based on the eight competency elements, the competency indicators were examined by 133 primary and 133 secondary competency indicators. Finally, 131 competency indicators were developed based on 8 components as occupational therapist competence indicators for occupation-based intervention. The results of the third delphi showed a high level of content validity of .95, stability of .10, convergence of 0, and consensus of 1. Conclusion : The developed occupational therapist competence indicators for occupation-based intervention could be used in various clinical decision making such as occupation-based intervention, education training, education development and evaluation.
