  • 본 논문은 블록체인에서 사용 중인 디지털서명을 국내외 동향으로 분석하여 향후 기존 디지털서명 기술이 새로운 대안의 디지털서명으로 대체될지 전망을 분석하였다. 디지털서명의 국내외 동향은 해시함수, 타원곡선, 디지털서명 알고리즘 등으로 구별하여 파악하였다. 디지털서명의 해외 동향에서는 ECDSA 외에 몇몇 새로운 알고리즘 도입이 진행 중에 있었지만 국내 동향에서는 단 하나의 사례도 찾기 힘들 정도로 여전히 대부분 업체에서는 ECDSA를 사용 중에 있었다. 아직까지 국내에서는 ECDSA의 채택률이 압도적이지만 해외에서는 조금씩 새로운 디지털서명을 채택 중에 있었다. 향후에는 ECDSA의 채택률이 줄어들고 새로운 디지털서명의 채택률이 올라갈 것으로 예상된다.

Risk Assessment for Abolition of Gross Containment Leak Monitoring System Test in CANDU Design Plant (중수로 원자로건물 총누설감시계통 시험 중지에 따른 리스크 영향 평가)

  • Wolsong Unit 2,3&4 has been performing a containment integrity test during power operation. This test could impact to the safe operation during test. If an accident occurs during pressure dropping phase, reactor trip can be delayed because of the increased pressure difference which causes a time delay to reach the trip set-point. On the contrary, if an accident occurs during pressure increasing phase, reactor trip could be accelerated because the pressure difference to the trip set-point decrease. Point Lepreau nuclear power plant, which installed GCLMS (Gross Containment Leakage Monitoring System) in 1990, has discontinued the test since 1992 due to these adverse effects. Therefore, we evaluated the risk to obviate the GCLMS test based on PWR's ILRT (Integrated Leak Rate Test) extension methodologies. The results demonstrate that risk increase rate is not high in case of performing only ILRT test at every 5 years instead of doing GCLMS test at every 1.5 years. In addition, the result shows that GCLMS test can be removed on a risk-informed perspective since risk increasement is in acceptable area of regulatory acceptance criteria.

  • Direct use of sunlight through the glass windows is an efficient way to reduce the energy consumption related to the heating, cooling, and lighting. Introduction of near-infrared modulating properties through colloidal doped metal oxide nanocrystals into the classical electrochromic materials accelerates the development of next-generation electrochromic devices. There has been a steady enhancement in the performance of electrochromic devices, necessitating a review of the recent progress in next-generation electrochromic devices employing doped metal oxide nanocrystals. This review provides an overview of the current developments in next-generation electrochromic smart windows utilizing colloidal doped metal oxide nanocrystals, with a focus on the key factors for achieving these advanced windows. Colloidal doped metal oxide nanocrystals are a crucial component in realizing and bringing to market the next generation of electrochromic windows, though further research and development are still required in this regard.

The Effect of Discrimination on Self-rated Health among Foreign Spouses: The moderating Effects of Social Support and Subjective Social Status (결혼이민자의 차별경험이 주관적 건강에 미치는 영향과 사회적 지지와 주관적 사회적 지위의 조절효과)

  • This study aims to examine the moderating effects of social support and subjective social status in the relationship between discrimination and self-rated health among foreign spouses. For the analysis, data from the 2015 National Survey of Multicultural Families was used and a total of 16,870 foreign spouses were selected using hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study showed that discrimination was negatively related with self-rated health while social support and subjective social status were positively related with self-rated health of foreign spouses. Also, the moderating effect of subjective social status was identified, which means that it enhanced the positive effect of discrimination on self-rated health. This study provided empirical evidence for implementation of social integration policies. The authors suggested future qualitative research of discrimination and health, and social policies and services promoting equal opportunities for foreign spouses.

A Survey on Physical Therapy for Leprosy Patients of Invalide Home in Korea (한국 나장애인시설 나환자들에 대한 물리치료 실태조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual condition of physical therapy for leprosy patients of invalide home in Korea. The subjects were 928 leprosy patients who answered for the questionnaires kindly and lived in invalide homes such as An-Dong & San-Chung. The questionnaires survey was carried out from July to August 1997. The results of this study were as follows : 1. $67.6\%$ of the subjects said that they were knowing of physical therapy. 2. $88.4\%$ of the subjects who had been served physical therapy said that they were satisfied with it. 3. Between no physical therapy service group and physical therapy service group, treatment of pain was done in a different way. In physical therapy service group, for example, physical therapy treatment was most frequently used. But in no physical therapy service group, drug treatment was most frequently used. 4. The majority of the subjects responded that physical therapy was needed. 5. Each group expressed different kinds of difficulties with regard to physical therapy. No physical therapy service group, on the one hand, found it very difficult to visit physical therapy rooms. Physical therapy service group, on the other hand, complained of not having sufficient physical therapy appliance. 6. The situation of disability and disease was much worse in no physical therapy service group than in physical therapy service group. Especially, in case of low back pain and joint pain, no physical therapy service group complained of than suffering from these pains twice as often as physical therapy service group.

A Safety Improvement for the Design Change of Westinghouse 2 Loop Auxiliary Feedwater System (웨스팅하우스형 원전의 보조급수계통 설계변경 영향 평가)

  • The auxiliary feedwater is an important to remove the heat from the reactor core when the main feedwater system is unavailable. In most initiating events in Probabilistic Safety Assessment(PSA), the operaton of this system is required to mitigate the accidents. For one of domestic nuclear power plants, a design change of a turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump(TD-AFWP), pipe, and valves in the auxiliary system is implemented due to the aging related deterioration by long time operation. This change includes the replacement of the TD-AFWP, the relocation of some valves for improving the system availability, a new cross-tie line, and the installation of manual valves for maintenance. The design modification affects the PSA because the system is critical to mitigate the accidents. In this paper, the safety effect of the change of the auxiliary feedwater system is assessed with regard to the PSA view point. The results demonstrate that this change can supply the auxiliary feedwater from the TD-AFWP in the accident with the motor-driven auxiliary feedwater pump(MD-AFWP) unavailable due to test or maintenance. In addition, the change of MOV's normal position from "close" to "open" can deliver the water to steam generator in the loss of offsite power(LOOP) event. Therefore, it is confirmed that the design change of the auxiliary feedwater system reduces the total core damage frequency(CDF).

Development of Web-based Off-site Consequence Analysis Program and its Application for ILRT Extension (격납건물종합누설률시험 주기연장을 위한 웹기반 소외결말분석 프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • For an off-site consequence analysis at nuclear power plant, MELCOR Accident Consequence Code System(MACCS) II code is widely used as a software tool. In this study, the algorithm of web-based off-site consequence analysis program(OSCAP) using the MACCS II code was developed for an Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) interval extension and Level 3 probabilistic safety assessment(PSA), and verification and validation(V&V) of the program was performed. The main input data for the MACCS II code are meteorological, population distribution and source term information. However, it requires lots of time and efforts to generate the main input data for an off-site consequence analysis using the MACCS II code. For example, the meteorological data are collected from each nuclear power site in real time, but the formats of the raw data collected are different from each site. To reduce the efforts and time for risk assessments, the web-based OSCAP has an automatic processing module which converts the format of the raw data collected from each site to the input data format of the MACCS II code. The program also provides an automatic function of converting the latest population data from Statistics Korea, the National Statistical Office, to the population distribution input data format of the MACCS II code. For the source term data, the program includes the release fraction of each source term category resulting from modular accident analysis program(MAAP) code analysis and the core inventory data from ORIGEN. These analysis results of each plant in Korea are stored in a database module of the web-based OSCAP, so the user can select the defaulted source term data of each plant without handling source term input data.

Analysis on Mixed Methods Research in Mathematics Education: A Qualitative Approach (초등수학교육에 적용된 혼합연구법의 특성 및 시사점에 대한 연구)

  • In theory, mixed methods that incorporate both quantitative and qualitative approaches can maximize strengths of each method while minimize the short comings of each. Mixed methods research is a feature of educational research nowadays, and the number of studies applied mixed methods research has been gradually increasing. This study investigates how mixed methods research was applied in the field of mathematic education, especially focusing on how qualitative and quantitative methods are combined to best address their research questions. With this in mind, this study carefully selects and analyzes 4 research articles that used mixed methods and were published by Journal of Elementary Mathematics Education in Korea in 2015. This study provides detailed result of qualitative analysis on mixed methods research while other a few previous analysis on mixed methods research were tend to focusing on quantitative analysis, producing numeric quantitative information. The result of this study provides practical and in-depth analysis on how to improve validity and possibility of mixed methods research, addressing alternative ways to combine two different research methods and key elements to take into account.

Analysis on Qualitative Research in the Field of Elementary Mathematics Education (초등 수학교육 관련 연구에서 활용된 질적 연구 방법에 대한 분석)

  • This qualitative study investigates how qualitative research methods are applied into educational journals, especially focusing on research articles in the field of mathematics education. Since the mid 90s, there has been growing interest in qualitative research in Korea. As a result, qualitative research methods are becoming one of the main research methods in education, quite different from before the mid 90s that quantitative research methods themselves alone were undispute d research methods. However, such change in research methods also lead to a matter of concern, the rigor and quality of qualitative research. In order to identify how qualitative research methods are applied, this study carefully selects an d analyzes 5 article that used qualitative methods and were published by Education of Primary School Mathematics Journal in 2012. Several leading scholars' ideas and theories of qualitative research are used in the analytical process, with careful attention paid to every detailed element of 5 selected articles. In sum, this study concludes with practical implications for qualitative researchers and discusses future directions for improving qualitative research practice.
