A Study on the Influence of Automatic Control System on the Production of Chemical Propylene (자동제어 시스템이 케미칼 프로플린 생산에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • In this study, we analyzed the effects of the automatic control system on the reactor operation. The Propyrene Reactor process is complex and typically is inefficient and costly due to the lack of productivity. In this study, a research model was presented with the aim of supplementing obstacles to enhance operational efficiency and increase productivity. The configuration of the existing processes was analyzed to complement the hardware and software systems with original models. The composition of the facility is applied to eight reactor units producing 600,000 ton/year propylene per year. As a result of applying the research model, efficiency of operation was increased, and production volume increased from 90 to 95%, along with 91% Reliability. Future studies will present a research model to improve productivity by 100 percent. In addition, we will study the stability and productivity improvement of PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) systems, which are the hydrogen production process of propylene by-products.

Study for the Changes of Annual and Seasonal Mean Temperature Using Adjusted Temperature Data in the Republic of Korea (고품질의 기온자료를 이용한 연.계절평균기온의 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study suggested the systematic steps for quality control, construction of the climatological reference series and homogeneity test and adjustment of temperature series in the Republic of Korea. It also attempted to evaluate more accurate magnitude of change using adjusted temperature data. All erroneous values produced by quality control were detected by internal inconsistency check. The method selected for homogeneity test in this study well defined fairly correct signals of station relocations. Therefore, this method might be regarded as the appropriate one to test homogeneity of temperature series of the Republic of Korea. The increase of temperature of the Republic of Korea after the adjustment were bigger than before the adjustment of annual and seasonal mean temperature. Adjusted temperature data produced by these steps will enable to evaluate more accurate characteristics and magnitude of climate change.

  • 우리나라에서는 1989년 1월 1일 이후 허가된 신약과 동일한 의약품을 제조하거나, 제제개선을 통하여 흡수율을 향상시키는 경우 등에 있어서 생물학적 동등성 시험을 실시하여 두 제제간의 생체이용률을 비교하도록 규정되어 있다. 다른 나라에서도 신약과 동일한 의약품을 허가 받고자 할 경우나 대체조제를 위한 복제의약품의 생산 시 생물학적 동등성 시험자료를 제출하도록 하고 있으며, 이에 따른 생물학적 동등성 시험 기준을 운영하고 있다. 최근 각국에서는 국제적 조화를 이룬 기준을 마련하고자 하는 추세이다. 현재 우리나라에서는 의약분업 실시에 따라 생물학적 동등성 시험의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며 국제적인 수준에 맞추어 관련 기준을 개정해야할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 캐나다에서는 1992년에 처음 생물학적 동등성 시험 기준을 공표하여 평가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 캐나다의 생물학적 동등성 시험 기준을 소개하여 현행 규정과 비교 검토함으로써 생물학적 동등성 시험 기준을 보다 과학적이고 윤리적이며 합리적인 규정으로 개정하기 위한 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

An effective classification method for TFT-LCD film defect images using intensity distribution and shape analysis (명암도 분포 및 형태 분석을 이용한 효과적인 TFT-LCD 필름 결함 영상 분류 기법)

  • In order to increase the productivity in manufacturing TFT-LCD(thin film transistor-liquid crystal display), it is essential to classify defects that occur during the production and make an appropriate decision on whether the product with defects is scrapped or not. The decision mainly depends on classifying the defects accurately. In this paper, we present an effective classification method for film defects acquired in the panel production line by analyzing the intensity distribution and shape feature of the defects. We first generate a binary image for each defect by separating defect regions from background (non-defect) regions. Then, we extract various features from the defect regions such as the linearity of the defect, the intensity distribution, and the shape characteristics considering intensity, and construct a referential image database that stores those feature values. Finally, we determine the type of a defect by matching a defect image with a referential image in the database through the matching cost function between the two images. To verify the effectiveness of our method, we conducted a classification experiment using defect images acquired from real TFT-LCD production lines. Experimental results show that our method has achieved highly effective classification enough to be used in the production line.

Improvement of Evaluation for the 'Public Announcement for Environment-friendly Organic Materials List and Quality Standard' (친환경유기농자재 목록공시기준 및 품질규격 평가개선 연구)

  • 우리나라는 1990년대 후반부터 유기농업에 대한 관심이 높아지기 시작해 유기농산물 생산이 매년 증가추세를 보이고 있다. 유기농업의 관심증대는 유기농업에 사용되는 자재에도 영향을 미치게 되었으며, 친환경농업육성법 제7조에 따른 별표1에 유기농산물 생산을 위해 사용이 허용된 자재 119종을 명시하였다. 또한 이를 원료로 한 친환경유기농자재에 대해 농촌진흥청에서 고시한 '친환경유기농자재 목록공시기준 및 품질규격'에 따라 제품을 평가하여 친환경유기농자재목록에 등재하게 되어있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 친환경유기농자재 등록을 위한 안전성 평가 항목을 유럽에서 적용하고 있는 유기 농자재 목록공시를 위하여 요구되는 FiBL(스위스 국제유기농업연구소)의 평가 항목과 미국 OMRI(미국 유기농자재 평가원)의 평가 항목을 비교하여 도입이 가능한 항목을 검토, 제안하기 위해 수행하였다. 조사 결과는 친환경유기농자재 평가항목의 국 내외 기준 평가와 친환경유기농자재 평가의 국제 규격 부합도 평가, 두 가지로 구분되며, 친환경유기농자재 평가항목의 국 내외 기준 평가 결과 선진국의 평가 항목에 비해 평가항목들이 세분화되어 있지 않고 검토과정이 서면으로 이뤄지기 때문에 전문가들의 평가에도 한계가 있었다. 따라서 OMRI 및 FiBL의 평가항목 중 국내에 도입 가능한 항목을 수집하여 평가항목 개선방안(표 1)을 제시하였다. 국제 규격 부합도 평가 결과 친환경유기농자재 관련 법규 및 규정의 분산으로 인해 생산자 및 수요자가 자재 등록 및 사용에 어려움이 따르고 있고, 미국 OMRI의 경우 자재를 자체적으로 분석하여 검토하는 절차에 반해 우리나라의 경우 전문기관과 전문 인력의 부족으로 평가결과에 대해 수요자의 신뢰도가 낮아지고 있다. 환경위해성 및 독성에 대한 안전성 강화를 위해 전문기관과의 협의 및 심의 체계 확립이 필요하며 올바른 관리를 위한 자재 종류별 최소한의 담당 전문가 배치가 필요하다.

Manufacturing process and food safety analysis of sous-vide production for small and medium sized manufacturing companies: Focusing on the Korean HMR market (중소규모 생산업체의 수비드 제품 생산을 위한 공정 및 안전성 분석: 한국 HMR 시장 중심으로)

  • The present study identified the restrictions on the use of sous-vide products in the Korean HMR market for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies. A detailed literature review revealed that the HMR market in Korea is close to saturation. Notably, the technologically advanced products produced using sous-vide seem to display significant potential to overcome market saturation. The sous-vide method differs from conventional cooking techniques and is characterized by maintenance of food texture along with flavor enhancement. However, due to the unfamiliarity of the manufacturers with this method and the unclear food safety regulations, mass food manufacturing companies do not agree on using this method; hence, sous-vide production is usually undertaken by small/medium sized companies catering primarily through online marketing portals. This study highlights the various restrictions to the implementation of sous-vide production, and discusses several practical implications of sous-vide production that would help users of this technique enter the HMR market.

A Priority Analysis of Excellent Agricultural R&D Performance Considering Region-wide Diffusion Effect (지역파급성을 고려한 농업R&D 우수성과 순위 분석)

  • This study aimed to suggest implications for the future development of agricultural R&D through a priority analysis of excellent agricultural R&D performance considering productivity, marketability, and effects on region, which are important factors of agricultural R&D evaluation. The subjects of analysis were R&D of Rural Development Administration (RDA), which was selected as national R&D excellent Performance from 2006 to 2018, and the priority was analyzed using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results are as follows. First, the relative importance of the criteria decreased in the order of marketability(0.423) > regional impact(0.360) > productivity(0.216). Second, as a result of analyzing the relative importance of the sub-criteria, the possibility of commercialization(0.515) was high in the category of marketability. The possibility of technology expansion(0.538) was high in the category of effects on region and the quality improvement(0.464) was high in the category of productivity. Third, the excellent agricultural R&D performance that had high relative importance was the technologies associated with improving the agricultural competitiveness of horticultural crops.

Improvement of Biodiesel Cold Filter Plugging Point Using Fuel Additives (첨가제 이용 동물성 바이오디젤의 저온필터막힘점 개선)

  • 최근 식물성 기름으로부터 생산된 바이오디젤의 보급이 활발해지면서, 그 원료의 안정적 확보에 대한 어려움과 원료가격 상승의 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위한 대안으로 다양한 종류의 기름이 검토되고 있으며, 그 중 하나가 축산 폐유지를 이용한 바이오디젤의 생산이다. 그러나 축산 폐유지로부터 생산된 바이오디젤은 저온유동성이 열악하여 개선이 필요하다. 축산 폐유지 바이오디젤의 저온필터막힘점은 $6{\sim}8^{\circ}C$로 국내 동절기 품질 기준 $0^{\circ}C$ 이하를 만족하지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 축산 폐유지로부터 생산된 바이오디젤의 열악한 저온특성을 개선하기 위해 저온필터막힘점 개선 첨가제 6종을 사용하여 각각의 첨가제 혼합에 의한 저온유동성 개선 효과를 분석하였다. 각각의 첨가제를 1,000 ~ 5,000ppm 범위에서 폐돈지 및 폐우지 바이오디젤에 첨가하였다. 그 결과, Wintron을 제외한 나머지 첨가제는 폐돈지 바이오디젤의 저온필터막힘점을 최저 $0^{\circ}C$까지 개선할 수 있었다. 하지만 폐우지 바이오디젤의 경우, 첨가제에 의한 저온유동성 개선의 효과는 매우 적었다.

Citric Acid Production and Scale-up in Dual Hollow Fiber Bioreactor (이중실관 생물 반응기에서의 구연산 생산과 Scale-up)

  • A study on the citric acid production was performed in various size dual hollow fiber bioreactors with immobilized Aspergillus niger (KCTC 1232). The final dry cell mass density reached 300g/l based on the space volume available for cell growth. Under air and oxygen aeration the volumethe productivity reached 0.63 and 1.02g/l.h, which cormsponded to 10 and 16 fold over those of batch fermentation, respectively. The initial pH of the medium was a critical factor and the lower value resulted in higher citric acid yield. The increase in the feeding rate of medium or the number of reactor unit resulted in the improvement of the productivity due to higher consumption rate of substrate.

  • In food choice, consumers consider importantly food safely and reliability focusing on a high qualify control. Also they are concerned about sustainable production and consumption considering of area and environment. In this paper, We propose and design the high-quality seafood production support system that is based on international sanitary standard haccp, traceability and eco-fiendly seafood certification for safety and reliability of the seafood production. The system is categorized into five part: aquafarm haccp, environmental control monitoring, traceability, disease prevention and messenger service and seafood price inquiry service. The proposed system utilize diverse ubiquitous-it technologies like usn, network cctv, mobile device etc.
