Usages of Mobile Views for Battery Efficiency of a Smart Phone (스마트폰 배터리 효율을 위한 모바일 뷰의 활용)

  • A smart phone which is one of the new IT technologies can be viable on various enterprise applications since it provides easily information and services. Especially, a smart phone can request queries to a server which finds massive data for decision making and receive the results of the queries from the server. However, a smart phone has a drawback that its battery is consumed easily due to the 4G communication. In this paper, we propose mobile views in order to reduce the easy consumption of a battery on mobile client-server environment. The proposed mobile view scheme reduces the number of communication which is leading to power consumption using materialized views for processing queries. We also classify the methods to control the consistency of the mobile view as the sources of the view are changed and present the cost of each method based on the cost model of battery consumption.

  • According to the development of service industry recently, the use of call taxi service is increased to use a taxi more comfortably. But related firms hesitate to construct a call center on account of enormous expense of constructing. Hence we developed the system that can minimize expense of constructing a call center which use a cellular phone. The proposed system is different from the existing call system of using a terminal method. we designed by applying UML(Unified Modeling Language) the system that can integrate and manage operations of customer management, driver management, order management and settlement of accounts etc. more efficiently using CTI(Computer Telephony Integration). Then the designed system is constructed by using Visual Basic 6.0. For implementing CTI more effectively, calling number of customer is received in PC using CID that is commercialized and then the customer's information is retrieved in the Database in real-time. The system proposed in this paper is possible to construct at low expense, can improve customer service level through an efficient customer management solution.

  • Advances in new information technology enable practitioners at construction sites to capture image information on overall sites and various work results through digital cameras. Also more and more government agencies and clients are accepting construction site information in a digital format. This research developed an Internet-based construction image information management system for effective construction management and sharing information among project participants. This system named CiMS provides a way to store/search/share site image information by representing the information through the combination of work items, work areas, performing companies, captured dates and purposes. CiMS has been applied in a real construction project for system refinement and verification. It is expected that CiMS can improve the construction site photo management paradigm, and the contents of CiMS can be incorporated into the corporate knowledge database.

  • The P2P(Peer to Peer) business, which has brought the great wave all over the world, was made possible as a user's environment is getting improved through the introduction of high-tech PC, and the access service of high-speed internet. P2P is the form that anyone using computer could be both a provider and a user by searching or connecting to the personal computer each other out of the concept of server and client. In other words, it is the system made by the technique which could share the data connecting between the PC of the person with the information and the person searching the information. Recently a various system of P2P is under the development which could be applied to the electronic commerce among the companies which is not only the file share among the individuals. In this paper, we propose the more effective electronic business system making use of P2P.

A Study on the Development Strategies for e-commerce Innovation (e-커머스 서비스 혁신을 위한 발전전략 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to organize prior research related to e-commerce activation factors available to stakeholders in the online distribution industry, and to conduct FGI with e-commerce experts to calculate the importance of each factor in order based on the 3 Level Service Model of Kwon Hyeog-in (2010), the key factors derived through the preceding study and the FGI were structured and the weighting of each factor was derived using AHP methodology. In the higher factors, the private sector (0.542) > communes (0.237) > public (0.2222) appeared to be important. Sub-factories included 'search service development' (0.0970)', 'recommendation service development (0.0805)', 'consumer needs analysis (0.0534)', 'consumer consumption pattern analysis (0.0505)' and 'other platform-linked service development (0.0450)', in the order of weighting down, indicating each of the factors within the top 15 priority. The results of this study will be utilized throughout the e-commerce industry as well as e-commerce enterprises, providing an academic foundation for the rapidly growing e-commerce ecosystem.

A Systematic Review on Rehabilitation Research for Improving the Range of Motion of Shoulder Joint Motion in Patients with Breast Cancer Resection (유방암 절제술 환자의 어깨 관절가동범위 증진을 위한 재활 연구에 관한 체계적 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the types and effects of rehabilitation by systematically examining the rehabilitation research for improving the shoulder ROM in breast cancer resection patients. For a systematic review, a total of 8 studies were finally selected through three databases including RISS. As a result of this study, the level of qualitative was 4 studies(50.0%) in level III, and the rehabilitation period varied from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. As for the type of rehabilitation, 3 studies(37.5%) were occupational therapy and physical therapy. The ROM of the shoulder joint was 7 studies(87.5%) of flexion, extension, and external rotation. A goniometer was used in 8 studies(100.0%) to evaluate the ROM of the joint as a measuring tool. This study is expected to provide basic data in the field of convergence when developing and applying interventional protocols for patients with limited ROM due to breast cancer resection.

  • Recently many corporations are introducing web services which supports mutual smooth information exchange without depending on platform or programming language and new distributed computing environment based on U standard technology and internet standard protocol such as HTTP. However they are suffering difficulty in interoperability because of the problem of version inconsistency of standards supported by platforms that each vender offers. To solve these interoperability problem, although WS-I is progressing a consecutive standardization work by method of that offer Basic Profile and Usage Scenario, it is in the state that the domestic research connected with this is not sufficient yet. Accordingly, this treatise constructed interoperability Test framework by developing web services on the basis of different platform from books information retrieval services that can easily be come with and simulated and verified the interoperability by applying WS-I Basic Profile.

  • This paper provide a framework for an IGILMS(internet-based global integrated logistics management system) which can access and mediate cargo transportations among small- and medium-sized domestic/international logistics corporations as regards cargo, registration and search for space, public tender and negotiation, contract, payment and safety-guarantee, transportation through the internet, wireless communication means, or smart phone etc. In addition, we describe a model to provide customized services in the B2B e-market for IGILMS and the structure and the control of its fulfillment process, and provide technical architecture of the IGILMS for an internet-based global logistics management system. To validate an efficiency of the proposed system, we develop a simulation model and analyze the performance of the proposed system.

Harmfulness of Denormalization Adopted for Database for Database Performance Enhancement (데이터베이스 성능향상용 역정규화의 무용성)

  • For designing the database more efficiently, normailzation can be enforced to minimize the degree of unnecessary data redundancy and contribute to enhance data integrity. However, deep normalization tends to provoke multiple way of schema join, which could then induces response time degradation. To mitigate this sort of side effect that the normalization could brought, a number of field studies we observed adopted the idea of denormalization. To measure whether denormalization contributes to response time improvement, we in this paper developed two different data models about customer service system, one with perfect normalization and the other with denormalization, and evaluated their query response time behaviors. Performance results show that normalization case consistently outperforms denormalization case in terms of response time. This study show that the idea of denormalization, quite rarely contributes to that sort of improvement due ironically to the unnecessary data redundancy.

  • lock in effect This study aims to examine the viewing pattern of travel vlog on video-sharing platform YouTube. Preliminary survey was conducted with in-depth interviews on the usability and sensibility aspects of creating pleasurable interfaces model. As a result, first, viewers obtains general information on travel using travel vlog. Second, there were difficulties from the informational quantity. Third, the contents marketing using travel vlog could have limitation when it comes to the consistency of product's exposure which common mass media advertisement format have. Improvements driven from this study may provide insight in contents marketing strategy to travel-related companies and provide practical help to creators in contents production.
