Design of image encryption system using multiple chaotic maps (다중 카오스 사상을 이용한 영상 암호시스템 설계)

  • The proliferation of the Internet and the rapid progress of wire/wireless communication technology makes security of digital images more and more important since the exchanges of digital images occur more and more frequently. And as the tight relationship between chaos theory and cryptography, many researches for development of new encryption systems based on chaotic maps have been widely progressed recently. In this paper, we propose a digital image encryption system based on both one-dimensional PLCM(Piecewise Linear Chaotic Map) and two-dimensional baker map. This proposed system is a product cipher that contains a perturbance-based chaotic stream cipher based on ID PLCM and a chaotic block cipher based on 2D baker map and is very high secure and easily implementable cipher having both a good confusion property and a good diffusion property. And with test results, we showed this system is very secure against statistical attacks.

Big Data and Personal Information: Needs for Regulatory Change (빅데이터와 개인정보: 규제변화의 필요성)

  • Many possibilities of Big Data has been discussed widely for several years. And the importance of protecting personal information has been emphasized more strongly. During the process of integrating several personal information for the improvement of usability of Big Data, there are many problems occured like the likelihood of the identification of one person, the level of personal infomation used to create personalized services in the companies making and using Big Data. In this study, I summarize GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation) of EU, CCPA(California Consumer Privacy Act) of USA and domestic Big Data 3 Acts Amendment proposals. Also I discuss re-identifcation of de-identificated information, social costs of the usage agreement of personal information, possible problems in construction and combination of private and public big data, political suggestions about settlement of regulatory environment.

Approach to Improving the Performance of Network Intrusion Detection by Initializing and Updating the Weights of Deep Learning (딥러닝의 가중치 초기화와 갱신에 의한 네트워크 침입탐지의 성능 개선에 대한 접근)

  • As the Internet began to become popular, there have been hacking and attacks on networks including systems, and as the techniques evolved day by day, it put risks and burdens on companies and society. In order to alleviate that risk and burden, it is necessary to detect hacking and attacks early and respond appropriately. Prior to that, it is necessary to increase the reliability in detecting network intrusion. This study was conducted on applying weight initialization and weight optimization to the KDD'99 dataset to improve the accuracy of detecting network intrusion. As for the weight initialization, it was found through experiments that the initialization method related to the weight learning structure, like Xavier and He method, affects the accuracy. In addition, the weight optimization was confirmed through the experiment of the network intrusion detection dataset that the Adam algorithm, which combines the advantages of the Momentum reflecting the previous change and RMSProp, which allows the current weight to be reflected in the learning rate, stands out in terms of accuracy.

  • Recently, in the industrial field, various studies are being conducted on converging IIoT devices that combine low-power processes and network cards into industrial sites to improve production efficiency and reduce costs. In this paper, we propose a processing model that can efficiently manage products produced by attaching IIoT sensor information to infrastructure built in industrial sites. The proposed model creates production data using IIoT data collection, preprocessing, characteristic generation, and labels to detect abnormally processed sensing information in real time by checking sensing information of products produced by IIoT at regular intervals. In particular, the proposed model can easily process IIoT data by performing tracking and monitoring so that product information produced in industrial sites can be processed in real time. In addition, since the proposed model is operated based on the existing production environment, the connection with the existing system is smooth.

  • Today, digital transformation in providing service value to companies that combine service and technology is becoming a necessity. In the transition period of digital transformation, various factors such as data, artificial intelligence technology, and partnerships can become competitive factors. In particular, digital transformation, which combines information and services with customers, creates a new business model that changes the entire industry and is presented as core competitiveness that creates customer value. From these aspects, the purpose of this case study is to derive competitive advantages on digital transformation using the case of company S. First, the study analyzes the same type of industry based on the case of app service. Second, this study presents preference factors in the operational process to enhance competitiveness by expanding user participation in accommodation reservation services. In addition, the customer service value model provides through the analysis of the five competitive factors in the operational process. This study elaborates the implications of the customer service value creation model in terms of new opportunities and challenges in digital transformation as a new customer service strategy.

  • 메타버스 서비스란 '가상', '초월' 등을 뜻하는 영어 단어 '메타(Meta)'와 우주를 뜻하는 '유니버스(Universe)'의 합성어다. 현실세계와 같은 사회.경제.문화 활동이 이루어지는 3차원의 가상세계를 의미한다. 코로나 상황 속에서 비대면 소통의 수단 중 하나로 주목받으며 업무, 친목, 각종 행사 등 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 2022년 신년 사업 계획에서 메타버스 단어가 들어가지 않은 곳이 없다고 한다. 그만큼 핵심 키워드로 떠오르고 있다. 즉, 메타버스는 현실을 초월한 가상의 세계로 스마트폰, 컴퓨터 등 디지털 미디어에 담긴 세계를 뜻한다. 세상은 점차 바뀌어 가고 있다. 글로벌 통계 전문 업체 스태티스타는 2021년 307억 달러(약 35조 3265억 원) 규모이던 메타버스 시장 규모가 2025년에는 약 2969억 달러(약 341조 6428억 원)까지 커질 것으로 예측하였다. 현재 시장에서 통용되고 있는 메타버스에 대한 정의는, '현실세계의 사회·경제·문화적 활동이 유사하게 실현되거나, 현실에서 제공하지 못하는 경험을 제공하는 3차원 디지털 가상공간'으로 요약된다. 2021년의 메타버스는 더 이상 상상의 영역이 아니며, 현실세계 영역으로 침투하고 있는 것이다. 현실세계와 연결되는 가상세계, 실재감을 느낄 수 있는 가상공간이 점점 현실이 되어가고 있다. 1990년대 처음으로 등장한 메타버스 개념이 2020년대에 재부상 하였는데, 과거의 메타버스보다 몰입감과 실재감 있는 경험을 제공할 수 있는 XR 기술의 결합에 대한 기대감 때문이다. 지나온 30여 년간 메타버스가 뜨거운 주목을 받게 된 이유는 기술의 발전에 있다. 초고속인터넷 5G 상용화와 더불어 6G 출현, 가상현실, 증강현실이 일상에 스며들었기 때문이다. 이러한 기술 발달은 현실세계의 물리적 객체와 가상의 객체가 상호 작용할 수 있는 혼합현실까지 발전시키는 촉매제가 되었다. 여기에 지난 2년 동안 전 세계를 강타한 코로나19로 인해 비대면, 온라인 서비스가 확산되면서 메타버스는 개념이 아닌, 우리 일상의 한 부분으로 인정받게 되었다. 현재 우리 사회는 과거에는 불가능하다고 생각했던 사회적 거리두기, 재택근무, 온라인 수업 등을 진행하면서 이렇게도 사회가 돌아갈 수 있다는 것을 점차 느껴가고 있다. 더불어 현재 코로나로 인해 멀게만 느껴졌던 메타버스 세계를 반강제적으로 경험하고 있기도 하다. 이처럼 본 고에서는 최근에 나타난 메타버스를 이해하고 방송미디어(계)와 접목된 유형과 기술적, 서비스 사례를 파악하고, 주요 기업들의 추진 방향, 주요 시사점 및 결론으로 도출해보았다.

Design and implementation of blockchain-based anti-theft protocol in Lora environment (Lora 환경에서 블록체인 기반 도난방지 프로토콜 설계 및 구현)

  • With the development of communication infrastructure, the number of network equipment owned by one person is gradually increasing. General-purpose devices such as smartphones can implement theft/loss prevention function by implementing S/W. However, other small devices lack practicality such as long-distance communication problems due to standard communication technology specifications or H/W limitations, and lack of functions(authentication and security). This study combines the Lora communication protocol in the LPWA standard environment and the blockchain technology. Anti-theft and security functions were added to the protocol, and the PBFT consensus algorithm was applied to build a blockchain network. As a result of the test, the effectiveness of safety(authentication and trust network) and performance(blockchain processing performance) were confirmed. This study aims to contribute to the future development of portable or small device anti-theft products as a 4th industrial convergence research.

  • Recently, as the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) prolongs along with the development of artificial intelligence technology, a non-contact society has become commonplace. Many companies are promoting digital transformation and the activation of artificial intelligence introduction to respond to this which leads to dramatic increase of demand for Chatbot. In addition, a Chatbot has reached the point of processing business transactions from responding simple inquiries. However, it is necessary to develop an API to interface with the legacy system and there are many difficulties in connecting. To solve this, it is becoming important to establish a hybrid Chatbot environment through RPA interface. Recently, the combination of RPA and Chatbot is considered an effective tool for handling many business processes. But, there are many difficulties due to the lack of interface cases and the difficulty in finding a method to development them. This study suggests a method for building a hybrid Chatbot which is an interface Chatbot(Conversational UX) and RPA(Task Automation) from the perspective of hyper-automation based on actual development cases and review of literature review is presented, so that the interface method can be understood and develop more easily. Therefore, there are implications for actively using AI Chatbot for digital transformation.

Effectiveness of Evaluation for Visiting Care Service Institution: From the User's Point of View (방문요양서비스 기관 평가의 효과성 : 이용자 관점에서)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effectiveness of the evaluation of long-term care insurance visiting care service institutions for the elderly from the user's point of view. To this end, data from a survey of 266 users collected through allocation sampling by region(14 cities and counties) in Jeollabuk-do and public data from 47 institutions were combined and analyzed using a multi-layered model. The main research results are as follows. First, among the five evaluation areas, the higher the score in the 'Rights·Responsibility' area, which is to give users a sense of rights and respect users, the higher the service quality and satisfaction. Second, among the five evaluation areas, the 'Rights·Responsibility' area had an effect on loyalty. In addition, it was found that the 'Outcome' area for satisfaction with institutions and employees and changes in users had an effect on loyalty. Third, it was found that 'Institutional Management', 'Environment·Safety', 'Process' did not affect service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Based on these results, it is proposed to reorganize the evaluation scale that users can recognize and that is faithful to the purpose.

  • With the development of AI and digital technologies such as big data, metaverse, and the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has brought great development and change to companies. Among these realistic industrial areas by RPA, the call center service area, which consists of a combination of complex high-tech systems and professional operation groups, has now reached the stage where AI is conducting counseling. The evolution of this digital transformation has become an important direction of change in the digital-related industry sector. Along with these changes, there have been many changes in the technical stress of the members of the organization within the RPA organization and their solutions. In this study, the representative psychological mechanisms were presented as Digital Shadow Work (DSW), expressed as 'unpaid work', and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), which is 'an act that helps organizations other than their duties'. This study theoretically contributes to the extension of the DSW concept to the organizational members.
