기업가형 리더로 거듭나라

  • 변화의 속도가 빠르고 불확실성이 높은 경영 환경 하에서, 기업가정신이 발휘되지 않는 기업은 혁신 마인드가 소멸하게 되고 결국 늙어 사라질 위기에 처할 가능성이 높다. 끊임없이 새로운 기회를 찾아 신 성장 엔진을 발굴하고, 사업 방식이나 업의 개념을 근본적으로 다시 생각하는 기업가정신의 중요성은 새삼 강조할 필요가 없을 것이다. 그렇다면, 과연 우리 기업들의 현 주소는 어떠한가? 안타깝게도 최근에 기업가 정신의 쇠퇴를 우려하는 목소리가 부적 늘고 있다. 기업들의 위험 기피 성향이 점점 확산되고 있어 심지어 ‘무기력 증후군’ 에 빠질 위험이 있다고 경고하는 이들도 있다. 원화 절상, 유가 급등, 내수 침체 등 제반 경제 여건이 어려워지면서 단기 실적만을 중시하는 경영 형태, 위험을 기피하려는 보수적 경영 분위기가 확산되는 조짐이 일고 있는 것이다. 기업가의 책무를 '창조적 파괴' 라고 이야기했던 슘페터는 어려운 시기일수록 이를 극복할 수 있는 가장 현실적인 방법은 기업가정신의 발현이라고 강조하였다. 오늘날의 경영 여건을 볼 때 기업가정신의 발목을 잡는 요소들이 많은 것도 사실이지만, 지금이야말로 그런 외부 여건 탓만을 하기 보다는 기업가 본연의 의무인 도전과 혁신에 매진해야 할 때인 것 같다. 이에 기업가정신의 발현을 가로막는 잘못된 통념들에서 벗어나 기업가정신이 충만한 리더로 거듭나는 사고의 일대 전환을 모색해 본다.

  • A consistent agreement has been made among researchers with regards to entrepreneurship as a critical determinant in fostering and promoting start-up new businesses. Many prior studies claim that entrepreneurial education plays a significant role in facilitating and enforcing entrepreneurship among people, and consequently it leads to active creation of new businesses. This study examines practical effectiveness of entrepreneurial education being provided by universities for university students. The findings of the study are summarized as followings. The effect of entrepreneurial education was significantly influencing on entrepreneurial intention of university students. It also turned out entrepreneurial education delivered a significant effect on forming both entrepreneurial motivation and self-efficacy of university students. Mediating effect was appeared partially over the path between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention by self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation. Discussion and practical implication on the findings are addressed and provided.

The Effects of Entrepreneurs' Failure Experience and Re-education on Subsequent Venture: Moderating Effect of Entrepreneurial Motivation (기업가의 창업 실패 경험과 재교육이 재창업에 미치는 영향: 창업 동기의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • While venture creation is considered to be of high social and economic importance, entrepreneurial outcomes are inherently uncertain and that failure is thus a central feature of entrepreneurship. Although failure in entrepreneurship is pervasive and critical, the impact of prior failure on future entrepreneurship has not received significant attention in the literature. Although failure is a painful and costly experience for entrepreneurs, it can also provide a powerful learning opportunity for those experiencing it. It has been argued that entrepreneurial failure is not just a individual problem but a matter of social concern. As part of the restarting business support system, entrepreneurial re-education program is provided to support failed entrepreneurs. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of failed entrepreneurs' prior entrepreneurial experience and re-education on subsequent venture creation. Moreover, this study also examined the moderating effects of entrepreneurial motivation. For the analyses, we surveyed the entrepreneurs who tried to re-start the subsequent business after the entrepreneurial failure through the "Revitalization Center for Strained Entrepreneur". The result found that failed entrepreneurs who learned a lot from their previous founding experience were more likely to re-start their subsequent business. The failed entrepreneurs who learned a lot from entrepreneurial re-education program were more likely to re-start their subsequent business. Moreover, the positive effect of failed entrepreneurs' previous founding experience and entrepreneurial re-education program on re-starting subsequent business was found to be weaker when entrepreneurial extrinsic motivation was high.

  • 현재 글로벌 환경은 빠르게 변화하는 4차 산업혁명의 도래로 산업구조는 물론 사회경제 전반에 걸쳐 거대한 변화에 직면하고 있으며, 미래에 대한 불확실성이 깊어져서 이에 대한 빠른 대응이 필요한 시대가 되었다. 또한 4차 산업의 주축인 디지털 혁명과 코로나 19 팬데믹 사태로 변화의 가속화가 진행되면서 이러한 변화에 얼마나 신속하게 대응하느냐가 생존과 성장의 핵심이 되었다. 본 연구는 기존의 선행 문헌연구를 바탕으로 기술기반 창업기업의 창업가 역량과 기업성과 간의 인과관계를 통합적으로 규명하는 것을 목적으로, 불확실한 경제 상황 속에서 기술창업과 창업가 역량의 중요성을 인식하여 기업성과에 영향을 주는 요소를 분석하고자 한다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 창업가 역량을 독립변수로 하고, 정부지원활용을 매개로, 창업가 일반적 특성(업종, 업력, 창업경험, 특허보유, CTO인력보유 여부 등)을 조절변수로 하여 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구모형 검증을 위해 대전 대구 지역의 연구개발특구, 산업기술단지, 첨단산업단지, 창업보육센터, 테크노파크등, 기술집접화시설에 입주해 있는 217개 기업을 대상으로 온 오프라인 방식의 설문조사를 실시하였다.

The Influence of the Women Entrepreneur's Characteristics and Entrepreneurial Supporting Policy on the Managerial Performances (여성 기업가의 특성과 창업지원정책이 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the factors influencing managerial performances of women entrepreneur's characteristics and entrepreneurial supporting policy. This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to characteristics of women entrepreneurs and an entrepreneurial supporting policy. The model is used by SPSS 15.0 for analysis on the sample collected from 130 respondents. The result of hypothesis testing are as follows: need for achievement, risk-taking propensity, vision, opportunity perception and entrepreneurial supporting policy influence positively managerial performances. The results of this study will provide practical implications on success of women entrepreneurs.

공기업민영화(公企業民營化)의 정책효과분석(政策效果分析)에 관한 연구(硏究)

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究) 1960년대말 이후 1980년대초 기간중에 민영화(民營化)된 공기업(公企業)에 대하여 민영화(民營化)가 개별기업(個別企業)의 생산효율성(生産效率性)에 미친 효과를 회귀분석모형(回歸分析模型)에 의하여 추정하고, 추정결과를 토대로 향후 정부의 바람직한 민영화정책의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)의 분석결과(分析結果), 공기업민영화(公企業民營化)는 대한통운, 대한항공, 대한재보험, 그리고 대한석유공사의 경우 개별기업의 생산효율성(生産效率性) 증진(增進)에 긍정적인 효과를 미쳤으나, 5대(大) 시중은행(市中銀行)의 경우 공기업민영화(公企業民營化)가 기업(企業)의 생산효율성(生産效率性) 제고에 미친 효과가 미미하여 통계적 신뢰성이 낮게 나타나거나 부정적(否定的)인 효과(效果)가 추정(推定)되었다. 이러한 분석결과(分析結果)에 근거할 때, 기업민영화(公企業民營化)가 항상 기업(企業)의 생산효율성(生産效率性) 증가(增加)에 기여할 것이라는 일반적인 믿음은 현실적안 근거가 부족하며, 일정한 조건이 충족되어야 그러한 믿음이 현실화될 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 민영화(民營化)가 바람직한 정책효과(政策效果)를 나타내기 위해서는 공기업민영화시(公企業民營化時) 기업소유권(企業所有權)의 민간이전뿐만 아니라 실질적인 경영권(經營權)의 이전이 수반되어야 하며, 민영화(民營化)와 더불어 정부(政府)의 각종 규제(規制)와 간섭(干涉)이 배제되어야 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of emotional intelligence on the relationship between internal entrepreneurship and individual adaptation performance and to analyze empirically the effect of supportive leadership on the relationship between internal entrepreneurship and individual adaptation performance. In order to do this, we conducted a questionnaire survey of employees in Busan Metropolitan Economic Area in September 2018 (for convenience, graduates of Pusan National University Business School and employees of local companies among current students). As a result, the mediating effect of emotional intelligence and the moderating effect of supportive leadership were verified in the relation between entrepreneurship and individual 's adaptation performance.

A Empirical Study on Effects of Dynamic Capabilities and Entrepreneurial Orientation of SMEs on Big Data Utilization Intention (중소기업의 동적역량과 기업가지향성이 빅 데이터 활용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • In a rapidly changing environment, dynamic resources have become important factors for companies, the use of Big Data come into focus new core value of business but researches on the major resources and capabilities of companies are insufficient. In this study, the effect of dynamic capability and entrepreneurial orientation in the SMEs on the intention of Big Data utilization are explored. For the purpose of empirical analysis, the survey condusted of 364 domestic SMEs to analyze the effect of dynamic capability on the intention of Big Data utilization through entrepreneurial orientation, performed a parallel multi-parameter analysis of using SPSS Win Ver.22.0 and PROCESS macro v3.0. The results of hypothesis testing showing that dynamic resources and entrepreneurial orientation had positive influence intention of big data utilization. For the determinants of Big Data utilization related to AI it provide suggestions thereby improving the understanding of dynamic capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation and helping to improve the management of SMEs.

Self-Efficacy as Moderator in Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Intention: Comparison between Korean and Chinese University Students (한·중 대학생들의 자기효능감 조절효과분석: 기업가정신교육과 창업의도 관계에서)

  • Understanding key factors that affect entrepreneurial intention of university students is important to establish effective pedagogy for educating potential entrepreneurs. This cross-cultural study examines the direct effects of entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention of university students, and further examined how self-efficacy interacts with an entrepreneurship education in promoting entrepreneurial intention of Korean and Chinese university students. Empirical findings of this study suggest that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy affect significantly entrepreneurial intention of university students in both countries. The proposed moderation effect of self-efficacy was supported for Korea but not China. The implications of the study were discussed and presented in terms of theoretical and practical aspects.

  • Recently, there have been an increasing concern for a continuous growth inside the company due to its being complacent about their present business and not taking challenges for innovation. Corporate entrepreneurship is the one that receives an attention as a breakthrough for this growth. Since it has been perceived as an effective means of promoting an innovation, Korean firms have tried to develop innovative products and businesses, reject hierarchical and rigid organizational culture, and settle more flexible and innovative culture through corporate venturing system. In this research, case studies on three Korean firms'corporate venturing system were conducted. It also investigated differences in operation and vitalization of corporate venturing system depending on the type of how it is implemented in the company by analyzing case studies with combining the type of corporate entrepreneursip's realization and the framework for its vitalization.
