The technological convergence of IT, BT and NT is expected to drive technological revolution in the twenty first century, so a large amount of R&D expenditure is being concentrated on the development of fusion technology worldwide. Researches on how to direct and manage fusion technology development, however, are rare up to the present. This study investigates technology development and S&T human resources practices in the fusion technology are a focusing on the career path movement of researchers. On the basis of case study and a field survey of 209 scientists and engineers from academia, research institutes and industry, four strategic directions are recommended for improving human resources development in convergence technologies. The limitations and contributions of the study are also discussed.

The convergence of technology as a major breakthrough in technology innovation has been generated and developed. With the advent of the 21st century characterized by the knowledge-based economy, it is happening even more frequently and vigorously than ever. However, study on classification system or definition of notions is necessary as the convergence of technology is still in the early stage. The existing classification system has limited application to the convergence of technology. With no standard available for the classification of the technology convergence, there has been much concern for duplicative R&D investment. On this ground, a new and reformed classification system for the convergence of technology and definition of notions are needed. Previous studies regard base technologies used in the technology convergence and new convergence technologies as important. However, this paper views convergence of technology as a dynamic phenomenon and puts an emphasis on the cause of technology convergence, not on the new technology itself and examines whether base technologies go back to their original state after the completion of technology convergence. This kind of approach will classify technology convergence by characteristics. Although more researches including quantitative analysis are necessary, this paper expects to offer help with further researches on classification system.

4차 산업혁명의 도래와 더불어 ICT 기계, ICT 금융, ICT 의료, ICT 나노 등과 같이 기술분야별 영역의 장벽이 허물어지고, 학제간 연구(Interdisplinary Research)가 일상화됨에 따라 무형자산의 가치평가시에도 융합기술의 가치평가 모형에 대한 니즈가 증대되고 있다. 특히, 기술의 매매, 현물출자, 기술금융(투자유치, 담보 보증), 인수 합병, 청산 소송 등 다양한 용도로 사용되고 있는 기술가치평가 모형은 융합기술의 입력변수 결정에 대한 체계적인 로직을 제공하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 일반적으로 실제 거래사례가 존재할 경우, 국제가치평가기준(IVS)에 의하면 시장접근법이 우선적으로 적용될 수 있다고 권고된다. 그러나 융합기술의 이전거래를 비롯한 평가 활용사례를 수집하기도 어렵고 그렇다할 평가모델이 존재하지 않는 것이 사실이다. 융합기술에 대한 기술 및 시장의 사업화 환경을 고려하는 경우 소득접근법 기반의 평가기법이 유용하게 활용될 수 있는데, 기술수명, 매출액추정, 할인율, 산업기술요소 등의 핵심변수 결정에 관한 정형화된 로직이 존재하지 않으므로 본 고에서 융합기술 사례에 대해 실용적으로 활용가능한 변수추정 로직을 제시하고자 한다. 기술수명의 경우, 복수 개의 국제특허분류(IPC)별 피인용특허수에 따라 가중 적용하여 수명 추정을 위한 기준값을 정하며, 사업화소요기간 및 비용의 경우 평가대상 융합기술이 속하는 업종별 메타데이터값을 가중평균하여 현금흐름 추정기간을 최종 도출할 수 있다. 소득접근법에서의 매출추정, 할인율, 산업기술요소 변수 추정 이외에도 로열티공제법 적용을 위한 로열티율 결정에 있어서, 융합기술이 응용가능한 산업(업종)별 매출액 기반으로 가중 적용하여 각 변수값을 산출할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 융합기술 가치평가 모형은 향후 기술의 융복합화 특성을 반영하여 적정 가치를 산출하는 평가 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

최근 디지털 기술의 발탈로 방송과 통신의 경계가 허물어지면서 지금까지 없었던 새로운 융합서비스들이 지속적으로 출현하고 있다. 그동안의 방송과 통신은 독자적인 영역을 고집하며 서로 독립적으로 발전해왔다. 하지만, 방송통신융합기술의 발전, 네트워크 성능 향상 그리고 스마트 기기의 폭발적인 증가 등 여러 가지 요인으로 인해 다양한 융합서비스들이 출현 하게 되었으며 빠른 속도로 발전, 확산되고 있다. 논문은 융합서비스의 대표주자인 IPTV 서비스 보안 이슈는 물론 스마트TV, N-Screen, OPEN IPTV 등 IPTV가 발전함에 따라 새롭게 등장하는 융합서비스에 대한 보안위협을 분석하고 그에 대한 대응방안을 제시한다.

This article deals with the characteristics of science, technology and society studies for societal challenges and policies to encourage that studies. It reviews several cases of science, technology and society studies. Transition management, community-based research, technology assessment and social acceptance of new technology are discussed. And it is argued that ' research' as a conceptual framework for analyzing the that studies. A couple of policy agendas enhancing that studies are suggested.

IT는 우리나라 경제성장에 결정적 기여를 해왔으며 사회전반의 패러다임 혁신을 통해 생산성, 효율성, 편의성, 소통성을 증진시키고 삶의 양식에 전면적 변화를 가져왔다. 금융위기 이후 주요국에서는 뉴딜을 촉진하고 신성장동력을 창출하며 사회와 문화의 발전적 전개를 위해 IT에 대한 거대투자를 집행하고 있다. 국민경제와 사회문화에서 지대한 의미를 지니는 IT는 다른 기술 또는 산업과의 융합이라는 새로운 변화와 혁신의 중심에 위치하고 있다. IT 융합은 IT의 자체 고도화를 바탕으로 다른 분야의 기술개발과 산업발전을 견인하거나 새로운 산업을 창출하는 것으로, 우리나라를 비롯하여 주요국에서는 자원과 역량을 선택적으로 집중하고 있다. 이 글에서는 IT 융합과 관련된 주요국의 산업전략 및 기술개발 동향을 파악하고 전문가 조사결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 IT 융합역량의 수준을 평가하고 결론적으로 IT 융합산업 발전을 위한 방향에 관한 전략적 제언을 하고자 한다.

Many companies are developing a numerous number of new products and business models for their sustainable growth. First, their unique technological capability needs to be obtained to develop new products and services. However, as the applicable period of a technology into its industrialization becomes shorter and shorter, the necessity of technological convergence is increasing. Therefore, this study aims to look at the patent status in Korea for the last ten years to analyze in which direction technological convergence had advanced and further compare the patent status in Korea with that in U.S., Europe, and Japan. In addition, this study looks at the impact of converged patent technology on the sales in relevant industries. To this end, this study collected 5,000 patents applied from 2000 to 2009 for the last ten years in Korea, U.S., and Europe every year and conducted network analysis by using UCINET, social network analysis program. In this study, we drew our research findings as follows: First, we could find that technological convergence increased over time and what technology was in the center of fusion. Second, our correlation analysis found that as we had more technological convergence, it was more related to the sales in relevant industries.

지속적으로 증가하고 있는 만성질환은 치유가 어려운 질환으로 의사가 권고한 치료법에 따라 환자의 지속적인 자가관리가 필수적이므로 IT-융합 기술이 효과적으로 적용될 수 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 만성질환 관리를 위한 기존 유헬스 기술을 소개하고 최근 각광을 받고 있는 모바일 헬스, 빅데이터 기술, 기능성 게임, 인지 기술에 대한 발전 동향을 살펴보았다. 또한 이러한 기술들이 융합되어 만성질환의 자가관리에 어떻게 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는지 보이기 위한 미래 서비스 시나리오를 제시하였다.

최근 포스트휴머니즘은 오늘날 북아메리카와 서유럽을 비롯하여 동아시아 학문 공동체에서 가장 뜨거운 화두가 되고 있다. 포스트휴머니즘은 4차 산업혁명의 핵심인 NBIC기술의 융합으로 사유와 논의가 가능해진 개념이다. 포스트휴머니즘는 기존의 휴머니즘 그리고 트랜스 휴머니즘과 밀접한 관계를 맺는다. 서구 휴머니즘 전통의 핵심은 17세기 합리주의 정신에 이르러 하나의 절정을 이룬다. 논자는 오늘날 뜨거운 화두인 포스트휴먼 논의의 발단은 서구 모더니티로부터 비롯된다고 본다. 기술의 융합적 발전이 인간, 인간의 본질, 인간의 정의를 변화시키고 있다는 점에 주목한다. NBIC으로 대표되는 과학기술융합은 인간을 변화시키고 있음은 분명하다. 우리는 그것을 트랜스휴머니즘으로 정의한 바 있다. 이제 인류문명은 트랜스휴머니즘을 넘어서 각종 보철술이 인간의 몸을 대신하는 포스트휴먼으로 진화 가능한 단계로 접어들었다. 기술의 급진적인 발전으로 기존의 근대적 재현과 표상, 상징체계가 바뀌는 것이다. 미셀 푸코는 '이를 두고 '근대적 인간의 소멸'을 예견한 바 있다. (1) 우리는 이 시점에서 이러한 급진적이고도 근본적인 변화를 촉발하는 '기술혁명' 시대에 '인간은 무엇인가', 인간적인 적인 것은 무엇인가'에 관한 이른바 인간학적 지평에 대환 논의가 긴급하다고 판단한다.

양자컴퓨터 개발이 가속화됨에 따라 기존 암호 기술이 기반하고 있는 수학적 난제가 실시간으로 해결될 수 있다는 문제점에 현실화되고 있다. RSA와 타원곡선 기반의 공개키 암호와 해시함수를 활용하여 만든 블록체인 역시 양자컴퓨터에 의해 해킹 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 블록체인 상에서 데이터 위·변조를 어렵게하기 위한 장치로 사용한 암호가 양자컴퓨터상에서 동작하는 양자알고리즘에 의해 해킹된다면 블록체인으로 보호되고 있는 데이터들의 안전성은 보장받을 수 없다. 이를 해결하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 양자알고리즘에 의해서도 해킹되지 않는 양자내성을 가진 블록체인이 제안되었다. 이와 더불어 블록체인이 기존에 가지고 있던 정보에 대한 안전한 이전을 성립하기 위한 기술에 대한 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 고에서는 양자 내성 블록체인과 이를 구현하기 위한 기술적 동향에 대해서 확인해 보도록 한다.
