A Study on the Wireless Ship Motion Measurement System Using AHRS (AHRS를 이용한 무선 선체 운동 측정 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • The IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit) which is the expensive equipment has been used as a special limited area, usually in measurement of posture of applying to the areas of ship, submarine, aircraft and military equipment application. However, in the current situation, MEMS AHRS technology can replace the high-priced IMU in MEMS AHRS selected application field. In this paper, wireless hull motion measurement system was suggested for measuring key elements of ship's movement such as rolling, pitching and yawing using gyro, acceleration and magnetic sensors of AHRS. In order to reduce the error such as instantaneous acceleration, effects and vibration of geomagnetic, we have adopted the sensors equipped with Kalman filtering. The Wireless hull motion measurement system using AHRS sensors was tested in actual ship and it could easily be applied in limited installation circumstances of the ship. In the future, this system can be useful in the navigation safety and marine accident analysis by using with ship equipment such as INS or VDR in the maritime.

Morphological Characteristics and Function of Hilum in Safflower Seed Germination (잇꽃 종자의 발아에서 제(Hilum)의 형태적 특성과 기능)

  • This research was carried out to clarify the germination characteristics with reference to hard seed coat in safflower. Morphologically, seed coat surface has hilum and micropyle which were evident during seed development stage. In the flower of developing seeds, the hilum area is connected with placenta of maternal tissue while the micropyle area is connected with the style of pistil. When the seeds imbibed, the hilum surface began to crack and the embryo protrudes through the hilum. To investigate the route for moisture absorption and gas exchange on the seed coat, the hilum and the micropyle were artificially sealed by paraffin. The seeds whose hilum were sealed could not germinate, which indicates that the exchange of moisture and oxygen takes place through hilum in safflower seeds. The germination was tested at $15^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$, and $25^{\circ}C$ by three substrates with different moisture conditions; top of paper method (hilum submerged in water), between-paper method, and soil seeding. The germination percentages were 31.3% at $15^{\circ}C$, 15.7% at $20^{\circ}C$ and 6.0% at $25^{\circ}C$ in the top of paper method; and 45.5% at $15^{\circ}C$, 30.0% at $20^{\circ}C$ and 14.0% at $25^{\circ}C$ in the between-paper method; and 80.0% at $15^{\circ}C$, 77.0% at $20^{\circ}C$ and 78.0% at $25^{\circ}C$ in the soil seeding, respectively. When the internal structure of hilum was investigated through SEM, it was found out consisting of vascular bundle element. In conclusion, the hilum of safflower seed was closely related with water absorption and gas exchange during initial germination process.

  • 웹의 확산과 더불어 웹 페이지 검색의 성능 즉, 빠른 응답시간과 확장성(scalability)은 각 웹 사이트의 절대적 평가 기준이 되었다. 웹 옹용은 일반적으로 불특정 다수를 대상으로 하기 때문에 확장성 또한 주요 성능의 척도가 된다. 이와 같은 웹 사이트 성능을 담보하기 위한 대표적 요소기술이 웹 캐슁이다. 본 논문은 웹 상에서 XML 데이터베이스 기반의 웹 응용(XML database-backed web application)을 위한 응용서버의 XML 캐쉬를 이용하여 주어진 XML 질의를 변환, 처리하는 기법과 구현에 관한 것으로 XPath의 경로표현식 중 가장 중요한 세 가지 기능인 조건을 명시하는 필터 연산자, 부모-자식 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(/), 그리고 조상-후손 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(//)를 연구 범위로 하였다. [2]에서는 조상-후손 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(//)가 없는 경우에 경로표현식으로 주어진 XML 질의를 캐쉬를 이용하여 변환, 처리하는 알고리즘을 제시하였는데 본 논문에서는 [2]의 알고리즘을 확장하여 경로 연간자(//)가 지원되도록 하였다. 조상-후손 경로 연산자(//)로는 정규경로 표현식(regular path expression)을 나타낼 수 있는데 이는 스키마가 불확실한 반구조적 데이터인 XML 데이터에 대한 질의 표현에 유용하다. 제시된 알고리즘에서는 DTD를 이용하여 경로 정보를 얻어 처리함으로써 주어진 질의를 캐쉬와 하부 XML 소스에 대한 질의로 변환하였다. 이 알고리즘을 바탕으로 관계 DBMS를 이용하여 구현된 시스템으로 실제 웹 상에서 성능 실험을 수행하였다. 성능 실험 결과 정규 경로 표현식을 포함하는 XML 질의에 대해서도 웹에서 캐쉬를 이용한 처리가 효율적임을 확인하였다.키는데 목적이 있다.RED에 비해 향상된 성능을 보여주었다.웍스 네트워크상의 다양한 디바이스들간의 네트워크 다양화와 분산화 기능을 얻을 수 있었고, 기존의 고가의 해외 솔루션인 Echelon사의 LonMaker 소프트웨어를 사용하지 않고도 국내의 순수 솔루션인 리눅스 기반의 LonWare 3.0 다중 바인딩 기능을 통해 저 비용으로 홈 네트워크 구성 관리 서버 시스템 개발에 대한 비용을 줄일 수 있다. 기대된다.e 함량이 대체로 높게 나타났다. 점미가 수가용성분에서 goucose대비 용출함량이 고르게 나타나는 경향을 보였고 흑미는 알칼리가용분에서 glucose가 상당량(0.68%) 포함되고 있음을 보여주었고 arabinose(0.68%), xylose(0.05%)도 다른 종류에 비해서 다량 함유한 것으로 나타났다. 흑미는 총식이섬유 함량이 높고 pectic substances, hemicellulose, uronic acid 함량이 높아서 콜레스테롤 저하 등의 효과가 기대되며 고섬유식품으로서 조리 특성 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.리하였다. 얻어진 소견(所見)은 다음과 같았다. 1. 모년령(母年齡), 임신회수(姙娠回數), 임신기간(姙娠其間), 출산시체중등(出産時體重等)의 제요인(諸要因)은 주산기사망(周産基死亡)에 대(對)하여 통계적(統計的)으로 유의(有意)한 영향을 미치고 있어 $25{\sim}29$세(歲)의 연령군에서, 2번째 임신과 2번째의 출산에서 그리고 만삭의 임신 기간에, 출산시체중(出産時體重) $3.50{\sim}3.99kg$사이의 아이에서 그 주산기사망률(周産基死亡率)이 각각 가장 낮았다. 2. 사산(死産)과 초생아사망(初生兒死亡)을 구분(區分)하여 고려해 볼때 사산(死産)은 모성(母性)의 임신력(

  • Various business model and computing environments are currently merged into web services and many web related application products are also develop. Most of IT enterprises in Korea use the Service-oriented architecture (SOA) whenever they develop the web applications. SOA is an approach to loosely coupled, protocol independent, standards-based distributed computing where software resources available on the network are considered as Services. SOA is believed to become the future enterprise technology solution that promises the agility and flexibility the business users have been looking for by leveraging the integration process through composition of the services spanning multiple enterprises. But, There are no specific development methodology to apply into SOA standard model until now. The developer uses the currently existing methodology to develop the application with SOA. The users have some limitations to use it. In this paper, we suggest a Frameworks for applying agile methodology into SOA to address the productivity and quality of small web related project. We design and implement a frameworks architecture for applying the agile method into SOA and describe the process model to implement it. We finally evaluate the frameworks with productivity, flexibility and maintainability.

Effect of Light Transmission on Composition and Somatic Cell count of Raw Milk (분광된 빛의 주사가 원유내 성분에 미치는 영향)

  • Measurement of compositions and somatic cells in raw milk by chemical methods usually requires a lot of time, skilled labor and expensive analytical equipments. Recently, near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS), which is a rapid, cost-effective and non-destructive technique, has been extensively used for safety and quality evaluation in the field of dairy products. However, less study has been performed to evaluate the effect of transmitted light on milk quality during NIRS analysis. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the changes in milk quality using transmitted light. Raw milk samples collected from dairy farm from Siga prefecture in Japan were analyzed for fat, protein, lactose, solids not fat, total solids, milk urea and citric acid using the Milko scan 4000. Somatic cells in raw milk samples were counted by the Fossomatic 5000. Transmittance spectra of 50 ml raw milk samples were obtained by the Lax-Cute lighter in the 400 nm or less, 689 nm, 773 nm, 900 nm and 979 nm. As a result, milk fat as well as somatic cell count was increased by 2.6% and 9.0%, respectively. The other compositions were, however, changed within the relative error of the measurement. Further studies are needed to apply raw milk quality evaluation using the UV band by accumulating more samples and more data.

Strategies to Increase Competitiveness of Local Experience Space: A Study of the 4Es in the Experience Space of Sam-Rae Arts Village in Wanju-gun, Jeollabukdo (체험경제이론(4Es)에 따른 지역 체험전시관의 경쟁력 강화방안 : 전북 삼례문화예술촌 체험전시관을 중심으로)

  • The dramatic rise of experience space using cultural heritage in modern architecture has been generally acknowledged in recent literature. The present study aims to investigate effective ways to enhance competitiveness in local experience space, with an emphasis on the use of cultural heritage in modern architecture. Using the case of the Sam-Rae Arts Village in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk, this study analyzes the characteristics of the 4Es in experience economy theory. In order to arrive at findings that represent the variety of perspectives found in this context, qualitative interviews were conducted with three groups: public officials, maintenance staff in the experience center, and field experts. The results of this study revealed that the Visual Media Art Museum and Book Wooks were used for entertainment, the Corpentry Shop for education, the Book Museum for escapism, and the Design Museum Culture $Caf{\acute{e}}$ The O's for aestheticism. Additionally, depending on the commercial potential of the respective experience space, the Corpentry Shop, Book Wooks, and the Culture $Caf{\acute{e}}$ The O's were used for profit purposes while the Design Museum and the Visual Media Art Museum for non-profit. Based on the findings of the present study, effective ways to enhance competitiveness in the local experience space are suggested. First, the public nature of cultural enjoyment may be realized in a field that bears non-profit characteristics. In exhibiting works, the experience space could suggest the extra demonstration. Second, in the for-profit experience hall, the securing of tourists may help to maximize profit. In so doing, a variety of experience programs and activity spaces could be provided internally, while advertisement marketing through mobile and SNS could be reinforced externally.

Effect of the Pipe Joint on Structural Performance of a Single-span Greenhouse: A Full-scale Experimental and Numerical Study (파이프 이음부가 단동온실 구조성능에 미치는 영향: 실대형 실험적 및 해석적 연구)

  • This study was conducted in 8.2m wide single-span greenhouse to investigate the effect of presence or absence of rafter steel pipe joint and foundation conditions on greenhouse structural performance. Structural performance was evaluated by static loading test using the structural performance evaluation system for single-span greenhouse. The measured displacement was compared with the predicted result by numerical analysis. The displacement of each measurement location showed a significant difference regardless of the conditions of the foundation and presence or absence of rafter steel pipe joint. Compared to the hinge conditions, the difference in structural performance of the greenhouse in the fixed conditions was seen to be relatively large. The difference in structural performance according to presence or absence of rafter steel pipe joints, the lateral stiffness of the joint was 8.1% greater.

  • Recently, the miniaturization and digitalization for the inspection devices of point-of-care testing (POCT) are rapidly evolving. In the urine test, a lot of researches on index paper technology are being conducted because people can be self-diagnosed through visual color comparison using a urine test paper, Dipsick. The purpose of this study is to analyze the RGB values from the color changes on Dipstick Pad, which isused for urine test, using a smartphone camera. To this end, the primary, analytes in urine wasdiabetes-related parameters such as glucose, ketone body and pH, which is the most frequently tested elements, and we pursuited to quantify the changes in dipstick color caused from artificial urine containing different ranges of sugar, ketone body, and pH. In this experiment, changes in RGB values under bright and dark illuminances were compared, and changes in RGB value were monitored as a function of concentration of analytes under the ambient illumination of laboratory. As a result, color separation at the bright luminance region was good, but it did not appearat the low luminance region, and the changed profiles in RGB value under different illuminances was suggested to correct the problem of the color separation algorithm.

  • Business environment is always full of challenges. Despite various strategic efforts, there are so many failure cases of misfit. With the weaker resource base and institutional foundation, startup firms find it more difficult to find the right spot in the stiff competition. In the middle of evolutionary process, the startup firms need proper strategies meeting the differential challenges along the multiple stages of growth. Following the idea of product life cycle, this study applies the four stages of growth-startup, initial growth, accelerated growth, matured, and decliing. The next step for the startup manager is meeting each stage of growth with proper strategic efforts, including strategy, structure, decision-making pattern, and control method. When the knowledge factor is introduced, there is a potential for higher performance. Based on the 'Detailed Survey on Startup Ventures in 2017,' this study explores the impact of the government subsidy program on the firm competitiveness and performance-along the four stages of growth. In each stage, the strategy factors showed differential impact.
