Various records on health, food and treatment are written in ancient documents of Korea such as old recipe books, Korean medical books and history books, through these records, the principle of Sikchi can be discovered. Sikchi includes the meaning of medicine and food work on the same principle, and it is not only as traditional knowledge but also affecting modern food culture. Based on this principle of Sikchi, this study tried to lay a foundation that can be used as a modern health food material through scientific verification of foods recorded in the ancient literature. For this purpose, Omigalsu, a traditional drink made from omija, soybean, and honey, which is related to blood glucose control, which is one of the representative metabolic diseases of modern people, was selected as the subject of this study. In order to compensate for the agglomeration of beverages caused by honey or the rise in postprandial blood glucose, which occurs when the traditional Omigalsu recorded in the ancient literature is reproduced, the raw material that can be substituted for honey was discovered. The health promotion and quality improvement effects of newly prepared Omigalsu using honey substitutive raw material were confirmed through a comparative test with traditional Omigalsu. Based on this study, through scientific research using the principle of Sikchi, we intend to lay a foundation that can be used as various contents in the medical and food fields such as food bio and healthcare in modern society.
The organization for managing records and archives did not emerge together with the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. Such management became active with the establishment of the Department of Documents (文書科) and its affiliated offices overseeing reading and safekeeping of official papers, after the formation of the Central Secretariat(中央秘書處) in 1926. Improving the work of the Secretariat's organization became the focus of critical discussions in the early 1930s. The main criticism was that the Secretariat had failed to be cognizant of its political role and degenerated into a mere "functional organization." The solution to this was the "politicization of the Secretariat's work." Moreover, influenced by the "Rectification Movement" in the 1940s, the party emphasized the responsibility of the Resources Department (材料科) that extended beyond managing documents to collecting, organizing and providing various kinds of important information data. In the mean time, maintaining security with regard to composing documents continued to be emphasized through such methods as using different names for figures and organizations or employing special inks for document production. In addition, communications between the central political organs and regional offices were emphasized through regular reports on work activities and situations of the local areas. The General Secretary not only composed the drafts of the major official documents but also handled the reading and examination of all documents, and thus played a central role in record processing. The records, called archives after undergoing document processing, were placed in safekeeping. This function was handled by the "Document Safekeeping Office(文件保管處)" of the Central Secretariat's Department of Documents. Although the Document Safekeeping Office, also called the "Central Repository(中央文庫)", could no longer accept, beginning in the early 1930s, additional archive transfers, the Resources Department continued to strengthen throughout the 1940s its role of safekeeping and providing documents and publication materials. In particular, collections of materials for research and study were carried out, and with the recovery of regions which had been under the Japanese rule, massive amounts of archive and document materials were collected. After being stipulated by rules in 1931, the archive classification and cataloguing methods became actively systematized, especially in the 1940s. Basically, "subject" classification methods and fundamental cataloguing techniques were adopted. The principle of assuming "importance" and "confidentiality" as the criteria of management emerged from a relatively early period, but the concept or process of evaluation that differentiated preservation and discarding of documents was not clear. While implementing a system of secure management and restricted access for confidential information, the critical view on providing use of archive materials was very strong, as can be seen in the slogan, "the unification of preservation and use." Even during the revolutionary movement and wars, the Chinese Communist Party continued their efforts to strengthen management and preservation of records & archives. The results were not always desirable nor were there any reasons for such experiences to lead to stable development. The historical conditions in which the Chinese Communist Party found itself probably made it inevitable. The most pronounced characteristics of this process can be found in the fact that they not only pursued efficiency of records & archives management at the functional level but, while strengthening their self-awareness of the political significance impacting the Chinese Communist Party's revolution movement, they also paid attention to the value possessed by archive materials as actual evidence for revolutionary policy research and as historical evidence of the Chinese Communist Party.
This study analyzed the documentation trend of garden components such as plants, infrastructure, unit facilities, and structures, based on 188 measurement drawings of 94 old houses in a report on the documentation of the national folklore cultural heritage. The findings are as follows. First, it was found that plants and structures continuously appeared as the subject of measurement drawings, while infrastructure was often omitted. It was confirmed that unit facilities, which are smaller than other components, were frequently excluded from the documentation subject as well due to frequent changes such as movement, loss, and expansion. Second, the level of expression in measurement drawings showed different aspects for each component. The unit facilities showed a large change over time with respect to the level of documentation, and the level of documentation was somewhat polarized, particularly toward the latter stage. This suggests that the level of documenting the drawings limited to specific facilities improved, but the overall level of drawings did not improve, such as a lack of diversification of expression techniques suitable for various unit facilities. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the level of documenting the drawings for plants, infrastructure and structures did not change to a significant degree, implying that no improvements were made to the expression of components. Third, as for the technique of detailed expression, in the case of plants, vegetation status was prepared without distinction of old or protected trees that have historical value. Above all, there was no record of the vegetation structure that could help grasp the vegetation landscape of the outer area. As for the infrastructure, there was no consistent expression technique to systematically convey topographic changes such as the height and slope of the land. In addition, since there was no subtype classification defined for unit facilities and structures, there was no subject or method of documentation. This study is meaningful in that it expanded the category of documentation, which has been concentrated on buildings in old houses, to gardens, and called attention to the need for documenting the gardens for the preservation and management of old houses as an integration of the building and outer area.

Especially, the Dangsan forest 2 was established on the mounding with 395m in length and 15m in width. Although, most of Dangsan forests do not have accurate records about forest establishment, this forest has retained a stone monument that illustrated the history of the forest. These aspects of Singi-ri's Dangsan forest indicated clear difference and characteristics compared to other ones. This Dangsan forest has been left alone from the public attention. The Dangsan forest at Singi-ri need to be recognized for their valuable landscape characteristics. This study was intended to present the need for building the library as a hub of the community memory preservation which provides the collection, sharing, and curation services of the locality specific historical and local data based on the policy task, namely supporting the collection, preservation, and management system of the community's life memory. To this end, the current status of data collection, management, and operation of institutions serving regional-based materials such as cultural centers and regional archives was grasped, and the cases and status of curation services in libraries were investigated and analyzed. The discussion proposed via the results of the study are as follows. First, to the culture center, external demand has been increased from the aspect of social education including festivals, cultural and art event, cultural and art educational business, art activities business of local residents and managerial business is to be carried out, which makes it difficult for the culture center to manage its businesses. Accordingly, it is necessary to collect and preserve regional various data at the pubic libraries playing various roles including provision of informative services, cultural programs and information sharing places to local residents and provision of services to vulnerable social group. As the existing libraries have a plan to collect data systematically, it is considered that those libraries will smoothly operate the data management through cooperation with existing culture centers and various cultural organizations. Second, it appears that a plan will be needed to set up all the data including the ones owned by libraries, local administrative agencies, individuals and other competent agencies in online database so that they are easily available to the public and always available in the libraries because there are a lot of data which cannot be moved to other place and it is actually difficult to concentrate and set up all the data to those libraries.
