생체신호 모니터링 스마트 의류의 디자인 연구 -심전도 센싱 의류를 중심으로- (A Study on the Design of Smart Clothing for Vital sign Monitoring -Based on ECG Sensing Clothing-)

  • 최근 생체 신호 센싱 기능의 의류가 연구 개발되어 왔으나, 생체 신호 측정 시 착용자의 동작에 의한 치명적인 잡음이 발생하는 문제가 지속적으로 보고되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 심전도 센싱 의류를 기반으로 생체 신호 측정의 정확성을 향상시키기 위하여 착용자의 동작에 의한 영향을 최소화할 수 있는 심전도 센싱 스마트 의류의 모형을 개발하고자 하였다. '일자형 절개 타입', '십자형 절개 타입', '엑스형 절개 타입', '곡선 엑스형 절개 타입'의 총 네 가지 타입의 생체신호 센싱 스마트 의류의 시안을 설계하고 제작하였다. 디자인 시안은 민소매 형태의 남성용 티셔츠로 신축성 있는 소재를 사용하여 인체 굴곡을 따라 의복과 전극이 밀착될 수 있도록 하였으며, 트랜스미터를 이용하여 메인 컴퓨터로 데이터가 무선 전송되게 하였다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 4 가지 의류 타임을 기반으로 인체의 정지 및 동작 상태에서의 심전도 센싱 성능을 평가하기 위해 동작에 따른 전극의 변위를 측정하고, 심전도 측정 평가를 실시하여 SNR을 분석하였다. 본 실험 곁과를 반영하여 의류 디자인 시안의 수정 및 보완 과정을 거친 후, 최종적으로 동작 잡음을 최소화하는 생체신호 센싱 스마트 의류 디자인 모형을 제시하였다.

냉감 기능성 댄스스포츠 웨어 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Dance Sportswear with Cool-touch Function)

  • This study helps develop cool-touch functional dance sportswear. We suggest a draft design for dance sportswear that chooses appropriate cool-touch functional materials based on an investigation of the changes of body surface temperature before and after exercise, the physical properties of cool-touch materials on the market, and the preference for cooling tools. The results are as follows. First, cool-touch functional sportswear products on the market utilize materials such as PCM, Delta fabric, high gauge fabric, and ice chips as well as incorporate functions such as UV block and eyelets for enhanced breathability. Polyester and polyurethane fibers are mainly used for cool-touch functional sportswear. Second, the neck area showed the highest surface temperatures (32.7℃ and 32.1℃) before and after exercise. Body surface temperatures measured after exercise were also lower than temperatures measured before exercise when wearing dance sportswear. Third, as for the physical properties of cool-touch materials, material 1 showed amaximum drying speed (130 min), material 3 the best moisture absorption speed (122 × 132 min), and material 4 the best thermal conductivity (0.013 7 w/m·K). Fourth, a draft design for a cool-touch functional dance sportswear was suggested, including a neckband made of removable soft PVC material on the neck area and applying material 4 in F1, B4, S2 and lower arm areas and material 1 in the armpit area. Deodorant tape was also attached to the armpit area for added comfort and antibacterial deodorant effect.

  • 최근 생체 신호 측정을 위한 기능성 의류는 동작 잡음에 의한 노이즈를 최대한 줄여 정확한 생체 신호를 측정 가능케 하는 것의 중요성에 대한 논의가 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 영향 요인별 고려 사항을 반 영하여 3-리드(lead)방식의 은사 자수의 직물 전극을 개발하고, '일자형 절개 타입', '십자형절개 타입', '엑스형 절개 타입', '곡선 엑스형 절개 타입'의 총 네 가지 타입의 생체신호 센싱 스마트 의류의 시안을 설계하고 제작하였다. 디자인 시안은 민소매형태의 남성용 티셔츠로 신축성 있는 소재를 사용하여 인체 굴곡을 따라 의복과 전극이 밀착될 수 있도록 하였으며, 트랜스미터를 이용하여 메인 컴퓨터로 데이터가 무선 전송되게 하였다. 각 재모듈화형 의류 타입별 인체 동작에 의한 영향과 정지 및 동작 상태에서의 심전도 센싱 성능을 평가하기 위해 동작에 따른 전극의 변위를 측정하고, 심전도 측정 평가를 실시하여 SNR을 분석하였다. 본 실험 결과를 반영하여 의류 디자인 시안의 수정 및 보완 과정을 거친 후, 최종적으로 '연속-부착형', '삽입-분리형'의 두 가지 타입의 생체신호 센싱 스마트의류 디자인 모형의 모듈화 방안을 제시하였다.

기능성 소재 스포츠웨어 구입시의 정보이용행태 -의복 및 스포츠 관심의 영향- (Information Search Behavior in Functional Sportswear Purchasing -Focused on Clothing and Sports Concern-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the information search behavior in functional sportswear purchasing by clothing and sports concern variables. Functional sportswear means sportswear made of functional clothing materials. The information search behavior in this study included information sources, information seeking attributes, information search differences between when consumers buy functional sportswear and when they purchase nonfunctional sportswear, and information characteristics. For this purpose, 500 questionnaires had been distributed to university students and 409 of which were used in the study. For data analysis, frequency, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and t-test were used. The results were as follows: first, the friends showed to be the most effective information source of functional clothing materials sportswear and internet revealed to be the information source that made the most frequent use of. The experts appeared to be the most reliable information source. Second, the more the students were concerned about clothing and sports, the more important they considered information seeking attributes. Third, in the aspects of information search differences between when consumers bought functional sportswear and when they purchased nonfunctional sportswear, only sports concern variables showed to be significant. The last, regardless of clothing and sports concern variables, it was found that customers considered all the information characteristics important.

아웃도어 웨어 기능성 소재에 대한 연령별 인지 및 선호도 (A Study on Recognition and Preference of Functional Textile Material of Outdoor Clothing by Age)

  • This study investigates the recognition and preference of functional textile material about outdoor clothing widely used in the current fashion market. The study targeted 216 males and females in their 20s to 50s who wear outdoor clothing as casual wear. To analyze data, frequency analysis, cross tabulation analysis and ANOVA were conducted with the SPSS 21.0 statistical package. The results are as follows. First, recognition of functional textile material of outdoor clothing showed that 20s was the lowest preference and all age groups preferred lightweight textile material. In information recognition of functional outdoor clothing, 40s showed the highest recognition, while 20s showed the lowest recognition. Second, 40s and 50s preferred functional material to 20s and 30s. In particular, 40s and 50s preferred clothing items with water vapor permeability & water repellent material to 20s and 30s. All age groups preferred insulation material jumpers, water vapor permeability & water repellent material jumpers and stretch pants. Third, reasons for purchasing functional material clothing was: design for the age group 20s and 30s versus health and function for the age group 40s and 50s. It is necessary to develop functional clothing products based on exact consumer information and preferences.

혁신제품으로서의 기능성 소재 유아복의 채택 단계에 미치는 영향 요인 -제품 특성, 소비자 특성, 커뮤니케이션 특성을 중심으로- (Influential Factors on the Adoption of Performance Infants' Wear -Focusing on Product Attributes, Consumer Traits, and Communication Characteristics-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence consumers' adoption of performance infants' wear made of functional textiles. Based on Innovation Diffusion Model, product attributes, consumer traits, and communication characteristics were considered. A survey was carried out with a convenience sample of 241 housewives who have infants under 4 year-old, living in the Seoul metropolitan area. To analyze the data, SPSS 10.0 was used employing ANOVA, Duncan's post-hoc comparison, $X^2$, and f-test. The participants were classified into 4 groups based on their levels of adoption of performance infants' wear: No-Cognition, Negative Attitude, Positive Attitude, and Purchasing groups. There were significant differences among the four groups in terms of their perception of product attributes, communication characteristics, and personal traits. In terms of product attributes, the Positive Attitude group and Purchasing group showed higher perception of relative advantage, compatibility, trialability and observability than other groups. These groups were also high in terms of their tendency of actively seeking for additional product information, and particularly relied on the information from experts on TV or the Internet, personal experience posted on the Internet, or their own experience. Those who were in professional, well-educated and high income brackets were more likely to be Purchasing group than Positive Attitude group, which means once the positive attitude was formed they are likely to purchase the product.

액티브 실버층의 성별과 연령에 따른 건강 쾌적 기능성 소재 의류의 착용 행동 (Wearing Behavior of the Active Silver Generation to Functional Textiles Related with Gender and Age)

  • Studying awareness, importance, satisfaction, and wearing behavior of functional textiles for active silver generation related with gender and age is expected to contribute to clothing products development to improve and maintain their health and marketing strategy fit for user characteristics. For empirical research, a survey was developed and the aged 50 and above were 332 respondents. The results of the study are as follows. First, silver generation considered all the clothing comfort sensations important when wearing clothes, such as tactile sensation, clothing pressure sensation, thermal/wet sensation, and motion sensation in human physiological aspect. Also, stretchy fabrics were ranked first in awareness, the number of wearing times, and satisfaction of comfort functional fabrics. More than 30% of silver generation have fifteen items out of 36 functional clothes. Second, in analysis of awareness by gender on functional clothing products, women were more aware of health/safety-oriented fabrics than men were. Otherwise, men had more knowledge about the water-related properties of functional fabrics than women have, such as water/moisture absorptive and water-repellent/vapor permeable fabrics. While women have more indoor casual wear, men had more active sportswear. Also, women expressed a strong preference to the stretchy function of fabrics.

  • 천잠 견단백질 가수분해 분말의 생리활성을 검토하여 비의류용 소재개발을 위한 기초 자료로 삼기 위하여 우선 항산화 및 항당뇨 활성을 탐색하였다. 1. 천잠 고치를 가수분해하여 제조한 분말은 항산화제인 비타민 C 대비 75% 내외의 항산화 활성을 나타내었다. 2. 천잠 견단백질 가수분해 분말은 혈당강하 효과도 나타내어 기능성 식품소재 적용 가능 물질로 사료된다.

소비자 조사와 착의 실험을 통한 온도감응형 기능성 의류개발을 위한 기초연구 (Thermo-sensitive Clothing Development by Consumer Investigation and Wearing Test)

  • In this research, consumer awareness investigation and wearing test were carried out for obtaining useful data on the development of thermo-sensitive functional clothing material. A survey involved 216 people in Seoul and Kyeonggi-do, and 200 questionnaires data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and frequency using SPSS 17.0. Four healthy men in twenties were participated for wearing test. Subjects in normal loungewear were exposed to temperature change from the initial temperature $30^{\circ}C$ down to $5^{\circ}C$ for an hour in a climate chamber. The environmental temperature, surface temperature of garment and skin were measured. As a result, most of respondents have all season clothing products such as underwear, hosiery, and jogging suit for loungewear. Also, thermo regulator y functional clothes are frequently used as underwear and sweat shirt. The consumer awareness investigation on thermo regulatory functional clothing showed that the most important key buying factor is quick climate temperature response, easy maintenance, design and cost, in that order. Surface temperature of garment went down with the cooling down of environmental temperature. The lower environmental temperature, the greater temperature difference by body part showed. Skin temperature change by environmental temperature showed similar tendency of garment surface temperature. In comparison between garment surface and body skin, temperature difference became larger under the lower environmental temperature.
