Comparative study of downstream flood wave characteristics according to dam breach parameter estimation methods (댐붕괴 매개변수 산정이론에 따른 댐하류 홍수파의 비교연구)

  • 우리 삶에 있어 물은 필수적인 자원 요소이다. 우리나라의 경우 대부분의 강수량이 여름철에 집중되어 있어 원활한 용수공급 등의 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 댐 건설이 필요하다. 하지만 지구온난화에 따른 기후변화로 인해 국지성 호우 등 이상기후의 발생이 증가함에 따라 예상치 못한 자연현상으로 인해 댐이 붕괴될 가능성이 있으며, 붕괴시 댐에 저수되어있던 물은 하류 지역에 홍수를 일으키고 엄청난 피해를 발생시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 김천부항댐을 대상으로 가상의 홍수발생에 의한 댐 붕괴 상황을 가정하였으며, 댐붕괴를 모의하기 위해서 요구되는 댐붕괴 매개변수 산정을 위한 경험공식인 Froehlich, Macdonal-Langridege-Monopolis 등 다양한 경험식을 적용하여 산정되는 댐붕괴에 따른 첨듀유출량의 변화 및 홍수파의 시공간적 변화과정을 분석하고자 한다. 댐붕괴 모의를 위한 기본모형은 HEC-HMS 모형을 적용하였으며, 댐붕괴에 따른 하류부 홍수범람 모의는 HEC-RAS 및 Geo-RAS의 범람도 작성기능을 활용하였다. 추가적으로 HEC-RAS에서 제공되는 2D 모델링을 통해 댐 붕괴로 인한 침수 지도를 생성한다면, 홍수 위험 위험 수준에 대한 통찰력을 제공하고 비상 조치 계획 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 초등학교 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence, AI) 교육은 학교급별 특성과 수준을 고려하여 놀이 및 체험 활동 중심으로 계획되고 있다. 그러나 교육 현장의 수요 및 AI 리터러시 연구에서 AI 개념의 지도 필요성이 제시되고 있다. 초등학생에게 어렵고 생소한 AI 개념을 교육하기 위해 학습자의 발달 특성을 고려한 교수학습 전략이 필요하다. 선행조직자는 개념 지도 시 학습자의 인지적 부하를 줄일 수 있는 효과적인 교수학습 전략 중 하나로 이미 초등학생을 위한 인공지능 교재에 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 교재 분석 결과 선행조직자는 학생별 경험과 양육환경의 차이로 인해 선행조직자로서 기능하지 못할 가능성이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구는 초등학교에 널리 활용될 수 있는 선행조직자를 초등 교육과정에서 추출하여 AI 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 프로그램은 초등학교 5~6학년 AI 교육 내용 기준에서 AI 개념 요소를 추출하여 초등학교 1~4학년 교과 교육과정에서 선행조직자를 선정하였고 4차시의 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 프로그램이 초등학생의 효과적인 AI 개념을 학습과 AI 리터러시 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 세월호 참사 후, 전 사회적으로 안전이 강조되면서 정부 부처로서 국민안전처, 그후 행정안전부로 명칭이 변경되고 관련 법규가 제정 및 정비, 시행되면서 교육측면에서도 전보다 강력한 재난안전교육이 진행되고 있다. 이러한 정책적 노력의 연장선상에서 정부는 국민 안전교육을 체계적으로 추진하기 위해 2016년 5월 「국민안전교육 진흥기본법」을 제정하여 대국민 안전교육 관련 제도, 정책 수립 및 집행 기능을 대폭 확대하였다. 그러나 국민 안전교육을 체계적으로 추진하기 위한 노력에도 불구하고 전 국민 대상 재난안전교육이 제대로 이루어지기에는 한계가 있음이 여러 연구에서 나타나고 있다. 2015년 이후 재난안전교육 관련 선행연구들은 국내 안전교육이 일회성이나 단기간의 교육으로 이루어지는 것을 지양하고, 생활 속에서 계획적으로 실시되어 지식적 측면·행동적 측면·태도적 측면의 유기적 통합이 이루어지도록 요구하고 있고, 이를 통해 안전교육 효과가 증진됨을 알려주고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 재난안전교육의 목표를 재확인하고 2023년 초까지 진행되었던 안전교육의 실태를 2014년 이후 안전교육을 가장 체계적·지속적으로 받아온 고등학교 학생 대상의 재난 안전 인식 설문을 통한 통계 분석의 과정을 진행하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 생애주기별로 지속적·체계적·반복적으로 이루어져야만 그 목표를 구현할 수 있는 재난안전교육의 특성을 파악하고 교육효과 개선방안을 모색하였다.

  • Vision is the most important sense of the five senses in our body. This represents that an eye is for the mysterious organ playing the essential role in our body. Alain Mikli known as a famous spectacle designer in France said that glasses exists for seeing and for being seen. This saying is one of the philosophically well-organized definition of the most fundamental function of eye-glasses described in and out of itself. Today, in the world, there are a number of works of glasses design and lots of glasses designers are designing hard in order to convey the goods with the best value and philosophy to customers. They work for the goal that glasses is used as seeing and try to give customers satisfaction and enjoyment of it. And they think that glasses should play the role of the interface. At this point, we need to catch hold of the interface of glasses. That means that glasses has to have the communication between eyes and objects and be the mediation of the connection between the image of oneself and that of one by others. For the character of the interface of glasses, glasses designers should plan and investigate this character at the being of design. This study of optical art has been researched for the necessary and sufficient condition between consumers and products.

Current Trends and Future-Oriented View of Clinical Measurement Used by Neurological Occupational Therapist (신경계 작업치료사의 평가도구 사용 현황 및 향후 방향)

  • Occupational therapist is required for patient-centered approaches to actively seek the perspectives of patients and their families in clinical settings. The purpose of this study was to investigate the current trends and to suggest future-oriented view of examination and assessment used by neurological occupational therapist in clinical settings. Sixty-six occupational therapists who work in persons with neurological disorders participated in this study. The survey was measured from Seoul and GyeongGi by means of E-mail about commonly used assessment tools and selecting considerations. The participants were 66 neurological occupational therapists. The number of patients by one day was from 10 to 14 persons, and the length of time for initial evaluation was 20-40 minutes per one patient, and reexamination periods was every 1 month or as functional changes were detected. The using tool was not limited only neurological tools, and choice consideration was the reliability and validity of clinical measures. The most frequently used tools for adults were: JHFT for motor function in upper extremity, MMSE-K for cognitive perceptual assessment, MBI for daily activity assessment, and COPM for occupational performance. The most frequently used tools for child were: MVPT for cognitive perceptual assessment and Wee-FIM for daily activity assessment. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to integrate and associate patient-report, care-giver report, and results of performance-based assessment for estimating plan of care more quality.

A Study on the Effect of a Mentoring Role on Cooks' Work Outcomes and Job Satisfaction (멘토역할이 조리사 직무성과와 직무만족에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to find out the effect of the role of a mentor on work outcomes and job satisfaction among the cooks working at five star hotels in Busan and Ulsan areas. 192 samples were obtained and analyzed using a social science statistics program SPSS/PC + for Window 12.0 along with frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis. The results of the analyses are as follows. First, experience and skills helped develop a bond of sympathy and cooperative relationships between a mentor and a mentee enabling them to achieve the organization's goal and provide high quality services. Second, the work execution and protective function of a mentor can create active planning and acting by helping individuals to improve for the future and giving them opportunities for professional works. Third, the psychological and social function of a mentor can create a bond of sympathy through personal contact, maintain smooth relationships in an organization and affect satisfaction in the working environment. Therefore, a mentor can have positive effects on work outcomes and satisfaction among cooks and also improve them. In this respect, through various efforts to institutionalize and activate the current nonofficial mentoring system into an official one, it should be used as a way of improving business performance and competitiveness.

The Effect of Far-Infrared Irradiation on Functional Components of Grape Seed (원적외선 처리가 포도씨의 기능성분에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of far-infrared (FIR) irradiation on the functional compounds of grape seeds extract were evaluated. Grape seed was dried on different heating power (0, 900, 1800 W) and heating time (0, 20, 40 min) with far-infrared drier. Contents of soluble solids, catechins, total phenolics and total flavonoids along with Hunter's color value, electron donating ability (EDA) and nitrite scavenging activity were analyzed. The soluble solids, Hunter's L value and a value were not significantly different from control samples. Cathechin, procyanidin $B_2$ and epicatechin contents changed with heating time. In the treated sample, total cathechins content was found maximum at 900 W of heating power and 20 min of heating time with a high level of total phenolics, total flavonids and EDA. These results indicated that FIR irradiation of grape seed could enhance antioxidant activities of its extracts by increasing the amounts of functional compounds. Moreover, response surface methodology(RSM) was applied to predict optimum conditions for heating by FIR rays of grape seeds. Based on superimposition of contour map with respect to total phenolics, total catechin and EDA, optimum ranges of heating conditions were heating power of 621.82~818.18 W and heating time of 16.3~19.83 min.

  • This study is what tried to examine the importance of material in industrial design. Then, if planning is to start of product design, the use of material is the last step to complete design. Design material has existed from the time before mankind were born, and the new material which is useful for human beings is developing rapidly. It is no exaggeration to say that our environment is the aggregation of material which was surrounded with us. Then, material has the timely, spatial and cultural feature as well as physical feature. Besides, all sorts of functions of communicating information are being contained in accordance with the character of material. The outside surface of material has the function to develop the sense organ of human beings. This study examines 4 kinds of cultural features in design materials and shown by findings is as follows : Rrst is the technical progressivity to lead new Design form. Second is the symbolic nature to perform the communication function. Third is the sensible attribute to develop surface effect of Design material. Fourth is the future-oriented nature to convince the future such as new material and technology etc. Thus, so as to perform the competitive product design, it is important to grasp the harmony between material and design, structure and processing, and the substantial meaning that the material has and apply them properly, above all. Because the discovery of material will be the measure to forecast future design.

A Study on Changes of Maritime Ability according to the Training Period and Boarding Semester (실습선 교육 기간과 승선 학기에 따른 해기능력 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study conducted a self-assessment survey on 50 evaluation items for students majoring nautical science who boarded H University training ships in order to ascertain the degree of improvement in their maritime ability according to the STCW agreement and training period. The trainees' maritime competence and basic understanding of maritime functions were evaluated, and an in-depth analysis was conducted to see how these have changed since their embarkation. The analysis showed a significant improvement in their understanding of maritime functions after the third evaluation in both the first and second semesters. The results also showed areas the trainees need to improve on for each semester's embarkation group, and an additional study plan is needed to make up for the lack of nautical skills in the training course. The result of analysis on the degree of improvement of maritime ability according to the training period of training ships derived from this study can be used for the reorganization of training ships and maritime college curriculum in the future.

The Effects of Neurofeedback on the attention in College Students with ADHD (성인 ADHD 성향 대학생 집단을 대상으로 한 뉴로피드백 훈련의 효과)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of neurofeedback (NFB) on attention in college students with ADHD. Participants were 27 university students, 10 in an NFB training group (experiment group), eight in a CBT group (comparison group) and nine in a no-treatment group. The score of CAARS-K decreased significantly in both the NFB group and the CBT group relative to the no-treatment group. Additionally, the score of the digit span test increased significantly in the NFB group, CBT, and no-treatment group, and the scores of these three groups differed significantly. Moreover, significant changes in EEG were found in the NFB Group, while the CBT group showed no significant changes in EEG. The significant change in EEG implies that NFB training improved the stability of brain function on the cerebral neurological level. The effects of improved attention remained after 5 weeks in both the NFB and CBT group. Finally, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
