  • Recently, A fever test is essential in a crowded places over the world because of COVID-19. A fever test is also conducted for visitors through a thermometer or a thermal imaging camera In Korea leading world with K-quarantine. However, the current body heat measurement process is divided into the steps of body heat examination and entry register. Therefore, access control person must be deployed at the entrance. In addition, since the accessor directly measures body heat and records personal information, the reliability of the information is low and the risk of personal information leakage is high. Therefore, in this paper, we consider the non-face-to-face smart authentication fever detector and propose a smart authentication process to unify the process for dualized body heat measurement and access recording.

  • 가스기기 안전장치 및 조리기구에 중요한 안전장치인 Gas Sensor를 가속시험을 이용하여 신뢰성을 분석하였다. 시험을 실시한 결과 GAS SENSOR의 Heater는 인가전압에 따른 특성 변화가 아레니우스 모델과 어링모델이 잘 일치함을 보여주었다. 즉, Heater선의 전압은 발열온도에 비례하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이번 실험을 통하여 STRESS에 비례적으로 특성이 변하는 제품은 설계단계에서 수명에 영향을 주는 잠재적 취약부를 단시간에 효과적으로 끌어내어 개선할 수 있는 기술임을 입증하였으나 다양한 STRESS의 복합적인 인자에 의하여 변화되는 특성을 분석하여 실질적으로 현장실무에 활용을 위해서는 많은 기술적 보안이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 카메라를 갖춘 모바일 기기가 보편화되면서 모바일 환경에서 영상처리를 이용한 다양한 응용이 확산되고 있다. 영상은 다른 정보에 비해 데이터의 양이 비교적 방대하기 때문에 모바일 환경에서 영상처리를 수행하기 위해서는 처리속도, 전력, 발열 등의 물리적 제약조건이 존재할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 모바일 기기에서 코프로세서인 임베디드 GPU(Graphic Processing Unit)를 이용한 영상처리의 고속화 방법을 제시한다. 실험에서는 보편적으로 활용되는 영상처리 알고리즘에 대해 CPU(Central Processing Unit) 및 GPU 각각에서의 성능을 비교함으로써 고속화 방법의 우수성을 검증하고 특징을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 기기용 20W급 초박형 어댑터 제작 및 그 실험 결과를 소개한다. 준공진 플라이백 컨버터를 선정하여 전체 시스템을 설계하였으며, 박형 구조를 위하여 두 개의 변압기는 입력-직렬, 출력-병렬 구조로 사용되었다. 설계한 회로를 제작한 결과 케이스 포함 $85.2{\times}58.3{\times}7.7mm$ 3의 부피를 갖는 프로토타입을 완성하였다. 제작 프로토타입은 평균 77.1% 의 효율을 보였으며, 발열 테스트 결과 정상상태에 도달한 케이스 온도는 $63.1^{\circ}C$ 였다.

Effect of CNG Heating Value Variations on Emissions Characteristics in a Diesel-CNG Dual-Fuel Engine (CNG 발열량 변화가 Diesel-천연가스 혼소엔진 배기 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, purpose of study is emissions characteristics according to effects of heating value variations of CNG fuel in a dual-fuel engine fueled by diesel and natural gas. For heating value variation of CNG fuel, nitrogen gas was mixed with pure CNG fuel. So the higher heating value was changed from $10,400kcal/Nm^3$ to $9,400kcal/Nm^3$. Under one condition of CNG substitution rate was fixed at 80%, diesel fuel was injected at a fixed injection timing of 16 CAD BTDC and fuel pressure was also fixed at 110 MPa. The condition of tested engine was 1800 rpm and 500Nm. Emissions were sampled in exhaust pipe was located at downstream turbocharger. As a result, emissions characteristics were checked in heating value variations of CNG fuel with mixed nitrogen gas THC, $CH_4$ and CO emissions decreased and NOx and $CO_2$ increased.

  • Since the high heat generation of LED chips can cause a reduction in lifetime, degradation of luminous efficiency, and variation of color temperature, studies have been carried out on the optimization of LED packaging and heat sinks. Recently, LED packages have been applied to high-power lights such as car headlamps or street lights, and it is known that cooling using only free convection is not at all efficient. Thus, in this study, a heat pipe with forced convection was examined for the optimization of the cooling performance in high-power LED lights. In addition, optimal on-off control of a fan was adopted to increase the fan lifetime, since the lifetime of the fan is generally shorter than that of the LEDs.

  • In this paper, new efficient lighting control system for light devices is proposed to reduce power consumption and increases LED life-cycle and heat efficiency of LED lighting module. The new proposed lighting control system for light devices divides into 4 stages according to the illuminance surrounding by measuring illuminance and apply to automatic pattern lighting algorithm. And via level check will be light up for set time by applying intersection lighting algorithm of magic square pattern forming a fully symmetrical. Experimental analysis results, shows heating value and power consumption reduced to maximum 30 percent and lifetime of LED improved to maximum 60 percent in comparison with previous lighting system so applying system to LED streetlight, stable and high energy efficiency can be acquired.

  • In recent years, the amount of heat generated inside of the computer has more increased because of high performance, multi-function, miniaturization and light weight. It is necessary to control the effective heat generation to improve performance and life extension of the computer. In this study, thermoelectric cooling system was manufactured using thermoelectric module and was attached to computer in order to control the heat generated inside computer. And the temperature distributions inside computer were experimentally measured and compared with and without thermoelectric cooling system to investigate the effect of cooling system. Also, to estimate the new cooling system which can substitute for the existing computer cooling system, temperature distributions inside computer were calculated by numerical analysis when there was no cooling system and was applied only cooling system to computer.

  • Data center, not only the development of globally of cloud-based IT solutions, As the big data, education, use of development electronic equipment of communication means is increased, Demand of domestic and international data center has increased steadily. Due to the increase of data center demand, heat generation of server rack due to the development of IT equipment is also increasing continuously. Calculating heat value of the data center, because more than 99% of the power usage of IT server is converted into heat, the calorific value as the size and capacity of the server is larger will increase. In this paper, to center the cooling system of air-cooled, and research and development of air conditioning systems for energy reduction of data center, through performance analysis and simulation, it has been analyzed that there is energy savings.
