Rear-Approaching Vehicle Detection Research using Region of Interesting based on Faster R-CNN (Faster R-CNN 기반의 관심영역 유사도를 이용한 후방 접근차량 검출 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to detect rear-approaching vehicle using the frame similarity of ROI(Region of Interest) based on deep learning algorithm for use in agricultural machinery systems. Since the vehicle detection system for agricultural machinery needs to detect only a vehicle approaching from the rear. we use Faster R-CNN model that shows excellent accuracy rate in deep learning for vehicle detection. And we proposed an algorithm that uses the frame similarity for ROI using constrained conditions. Experimental results show that the proposed method has a detection rate of 99.9% and reduced the false positive values.

Effects of Forest Healing Programs Using School Forests on Language Acquisition and Ego-resilience of Multicultural Background Students (학교 숲을 활용한 산림치유프로그램 활동이 다문화배경 학생들의 언어습득 향상과 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향)

  • As the number of students in the multicultural background grows, the interest in their education is also increasing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of forest healing factors on the improvement of language ability and ego-resilience of students from multicultural families. We conducted an after-school forest healing program of ten male and ten female middle school students of a multicultural preparatory school located in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$-dong in Cheongju, Chungnam Province. The experiment consisted of a total of 12 weekly one-hour (60 minutes) programs from April 12, 2018 to June 26, 2018. The forest healing program is an activity that uses the various environmental factors that exist in the forest to increase the immunity of the human body and restore physical and mental health. To determine the difference in ego-resilience before and after the program, we conducted a paired t-test and analyzed with the SPSS 18.0 program. The results showed that the ego-resilience significantly improved in all sub-factors including the positive thinking ability, problem-solving ability, intimacy ability, emotional adjustment ability, and autonomic behavior ability (p<.001). The descriptive statistics of the language ability showed the improvement in writing errors, pronunciation errors, sentence errors, tense errors, and errors in research and connection. We expect the results of this study can be used as the basic data to improve ego-resilience and language acquisition ability of middle-entry children and students from multicultural families.

A Study on the Perceptions of Cyber English Learners on the Usefulness of Online Grammar Checker (온라인 문법 검사기의 유용성에 대한 사이버 영어학습자들의 인식에 관한 연구)

  • The current study examined the cyber learners' perceptions of the educational usefulness of Grammarly, an online grammar checker, after it was used to provide feedback to cyber university students in a situation where the instructor could not provide sufficient feedback on their written work in English. The survey results, revealed that the majority of learners had positive attitudes to the usefulness of Grammarly. In particular, the feedback immediately available whenever needed was regarded as helpful in improving English sentences, and most learners were highly satisfied with the amount of the feedback provided by Grammarly. It was also found that Grammarly had positive effects in terms of the affective domains, helping learners to improve their interest and confidence in English writing. In particular, Grammarly was found to be effective in reducing writing anxiety in English, one of the main factors negatively affecting writing performance in English. However, along with these positive results, limitations such as inaccurate feedback and inadequate explanation of errors were also found. Therefore, when Grammarly is used for English education, it is necessary to conduct multifaceted research to develop effective teaching methods that can minimize the problems that may arise from these limitations.

  • 최근 유전체 단위 반복 변이(CNV)의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. CNV란 DNA가 복제될 때 일부가 만들어지지 않거나 혹은 많이 만들어져 그 양이 차이가 나게 되는 것으로, 인간의 질병이나 형질과 밀접한 관련을 가진다고 알려져 있다. 이에 따라 CNV와 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행되었으며, CNV를 찾기 위한 다양한 방법들이 나오게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 CNV를 찾아내는 대표적인 기법 중 하나인 SW-ARRAY에 대해서 알아보고, 여기에 페널티 값과 점수에 따른 가변 임계값을 적용하여 보정함으로써 기존 SW-ARRAY의 문제점을 해결하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 실제 Array-CGH 데이터에 적용한 결과 긍정 오류 값이 줄어들어 기존의 방식에 비해 정확한 값을 얻게 되었다.

A Study on Anonymous Protocol for Privacy in Consortium Block Chain (컨소시엄 블록체인에서의 Privacy를 위한 익명프로토콜에 관한 기법 및 연구)

  • 컨소시엄 블록체인은 허가된 멤버로 구성된 여러그룹이 하나의 원장을 공유한다. 이때 하위멤버의 트랜잭션 및 멤버 인증은 블록생성에 참여하는 신뢰된 노드로부터 유효성을 검증받는다. 따라서 컨소시엄 블록체인의 그룹 간 멤버의 트랜잭션 공유는 Privacy문제를 야기한다. 본 논문에서 컨소시엄 블록체인에서의 privacy를 위해 익명신용장기반의 익명프로토콜을 제안한다. 본 제안 방식은 다중블룸필터를 이용하여 긍정오류율을 높이고 효율적으로 검색하도록 한다. 또한 Blind Signature를 통해 컨소시엄 멤버간 메시지에 대한 익명성을 보존하면서 인증에 대한 서명은 유지하도록 한다. 결과적으로 컨소시엄 멤버 간 Privacy를 보존하면서 인증 트랜잭션을 블룸필터의 다중패턴으로 검증하여 컨소시엄 블록체인에서의 익명프로토콜(Anonymous protocol)을 제안한다. 이로써 컨소시엄 블록체인에서의 신뢰기반의 서버 시스템의 확장과 privacy 향상을 제공한다.

VR을 이용한 ADHD 진단을 위한 디지털 치료제

  • 해마다 정신 질환의 발병률은 높아지지만, 이를 위한 진단과 치료의 한계는 현재까지도 해결되지 않고 있다. 디지털 치료제(DTx)는 이러한 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 해결법으로 화두되고 있다. 본 연구는 객관적인 ADHD 진단을 위한 Hippo T&C의 디지털 치료 솔루션인 AttnKare-D를 제안한다. AttnKare-D는 정신 질환의 진단 및 통계 편람(DSM-5)에 따라 통제된 환경에서 데이터를 정량화함으로써 진단을 객관화한다. 또한, ADHD의 세부적 증상에 대한 상세한 보고서를 만듦으로써, 넓은 분류보다는 특정한 증상들에 집중하여 치료를 개인화한다. 적절한 샘플 사이즈에 낮은 오류율을 보이므로 임상 환경에서 AttnKare-D는 긍정적인 가능성을 보여준다.

Form-Focused Instruction, Learners' Perceptions, and Second Language Acquisition (형태초점교수활동, 학습자의 인식도, 그리고 제2언어습득)

  • The purpose of the study was two folded: to examine whether form-focused instruction (FFI) with corrective feedback (CF) is effective for the acquisition of the target linguistic forms and to find out the extent to which of the students' perceptions as well as their attitudes towards English instruction that they received. Tests and questionnaires were implemented to 122 Korean EFL students from eight classes enrolled in an English communication course. They were randomly assigned to three groups: the input-based group, who received typographical input enhancement materials, so-called the TIE group, the output-based group, who performed dictogloss tasks, so-called the DICT group, and the control group (CG). The data analysis was made on both tests and questionnaires by using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The study found that different types of FFI with CF contributed to the improvement of students' grammatical knowledge and both the TIE and DICT task group students positively changed their perceptions and understanding as well as their attitudes towards the English instruction given, and students in all groups preferred pair work activities. In addition, most of the TIE and DICT students showed their interest and satisfaction with English class, whereas the CG group students did not. Based on the findings, this study suggested that well-planned and properly-chosen FFI in the form of pair work activities should be applied in classrooms with consideration of students' instructional preference in Korean EFL contextual settings.

  • Communication between customers and service providers is an important issue at sites where various businesses and transactions take place. In particular, the ability to solve problems quickly and accurately when a problem arises and when an inquiry is received is directly linked to trust in the site. In this paper, we propose a method of handling complaints and inquiries of site users by using chatbot technology on talent market platform site. First, we implemented chatbot that can communicate with the inquirers in real time, so that users can use the site usage and word search functions. For various errors and problems of the site which can not be defined by a few words or sentences, I have specified an error code and database it. Users of the site were able to contact chatbot with the error code that was output when an error occurred and get the corresponding response in real time. The chatbot implemented in this study provided a satisfactory experience because that was able to provide quick and accurate answers to users who experienced errors or inquiries when using the site. This will have a positive impact on the credibility and favorability of the site over the long term, and will help reduce manpower and time costs for error inquiries.

Arithmetic Fluctuation Effect affected by Induced Emotional Valence (유발된 정서가에 따른 계산 요동의 효과)

  • This study examined the type and extent of interruption between induced emotion and succeeding arithmetic operation. The experiment was carried out to determine the influence of the induced emotions (anger, joy, and sorrow) and stimulus types (picture and sentence) on the cognitive process load that may block the interactions among the constituents of working memory. The study subjects were 32 undergraduates who were similar with respect to age and education parameters and were especially instructed to attend to induced emotion by imitation of facial expression and to make a correct decision during the remainder calculation task. In the results, the stimulus types did not exhibit any difference but there was a significant difference among the induced emotion types. The difference was observed in slower response time at positive emotion(joy condition) as compared with other emotions(anger and sorrow). More specifically, error and delayed correct response rate for emotion types were analysed to determine which phase the slower response was associated with. Delayed responses of the joy condition by sentence-inducing stimulus were identified with the error rate difference, and those by picture-inducing stimulus with the delayed correct response rate. These findings not only suggest that induced positive emotion increased response time compared to negative emotions, but also imply that picture-inducing stimulus easily affords arithmetic fluctuation whereas sentence-inducing stimulus results in arithmetic failure.
