  • 전 세계적으로 코로나바이러스가 유행함에 따라 비대면 활동을 비롯하여 전자 필기 이용 및 상품 소비가 증가하였다. 전자 필기에 대한 수요가 늘어남에 따라 전자 필기 글씨체 교정에 대한 관심 또한 증가하는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 전자 필기 이미지에서 음절과 음소 영역을 추출하여 글씨를 분석하고, 이를 사용하여 사용자의 손글씨에서 개선점을 찾아낼 수 있는 딥러닝 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘을 통해 사용자가 원하는 전자 필기 글씨체를 효과적으로 습득할 수 있도록 사용자 글씨에 대해 구체적인 피드백을 제공하는 딥러닝 기반 태블릿 PC 용 한글 전자 필기 연습 및 분석 앱에 대한 연구를 소개하였다.

  • 본 논문은 손글씨 인식 분야에서 가장 기본적이고 중요한 주제인 손글씨 데이터 세트에 대한 분류 성능을 분석하고 비교하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 ResNet-50 모델을 사용하여 MNIST, EMNIST, KMNIST라는 세 가지 대표적인 손글씨 데이터 세트에 대한 분류 작업을 수행한다. 각 데이터 세트의 특징과 도메인, 그리고 데이터 세트 간의 차이와 특징에 대해 다루며, ResNet-50 모델을 학습하고 평가한 분류 성능을 비교하고 결과에 대해 분석한 결과를 제시한다.

  • As the change in the analog age to the digital age with the development of civilization, people are living in a more friendly smart phone screen more books. In the past, people can easily see the text in the book, and now letters are disappearing from people's minds. And although they can see the letters easily anytime, anywhere using smart devices, they have no interest in the letters, they are interested only in information. So, the letters will disappear. However, there are people who try to keep the development of disappearing letters. In this paper, we are planning to produce a documentary about those people. We show that the letters survive in a modern society through Letterpress print shop, calligraphy, a computer font. And it seeks to inform that the letters are valuable.

The Review of Yeongpyeong(永平), Baengnoju(白鷺洲)'s Status and Meaning Landscape by Literature and Carved Letter in the Rock (고문헌과 바위글씨로 본 영평(永平) 백로주(白鷺洲)의 위상과 경관의미)

  • This study is to review about Yeongpyeong(永平), Baengnoju(白鷺洲)'s status and meaning landscape from literature and carved letter by literature reviews and a field survey. Baengnoju is named from mounting Geumneung(金陵) Bonghwangdae(鳳凰臺) poetry written by I, Baek(李白). There were many 'Baengnojus' all over the country but Yeongpyeong Baengnoju was the most famous beauty spot in Joseon dynasty. We identified many documentations about carved letter in the rock by literature reviews. So We guessed Baengnoju's past landscape and discovered undiscovered carved letters in the rock. Baengnoju became a famous place by Yang, Man-go(楊萬古)'s villa and I, Myeong-Han(李明漢)'s poetry. After this, it had received attention because it had a fine view and a good place to live. We thought that Baengnoju's documentations about carved letter in the rock was the most important, because carved letter in the rock is the fundamental factor to explore a noted wiseman' trace. Especially, documentations about carved letter in the rock was concentrated with Seoin(西人)'s literature. It is the important materials to identify carved letter in the rock. We studied about Baengnoju's carved letter in the rock by literature reviews and a field survey. First of all, it was identified as Jo, Sang-Wu(趙相愚) who wrote "Baengnoju" letter. We also discovered two undiscovered letters in Baengnoju letter's left side. There were Yu, Gi-Il(柳基一)'s carved letter in the rock in the other side. It was many carved letters in the rock in Baengnoju, but we knew so many differences comparing with literature. So, we need to establish plans to preserve. On this occasion, we wish that many people will be pay more attention to Baengnoju.

A Study on Factors Influencing Handwriting of Preschool Children (학령전기 아동의 글씨 쓰기에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Objective : This study investigated the relationships of handwriting legibility and perceptual-motor skills, and handwriting speed and perceptual-motor skills. And identified the predictors that most affect the handwriting of preschool children. Methods : Twenty-three typically developing preschool aged children (mean age: 68.61 months, SD=2.04) were selected through the Korean-Denver Developmental Screening Test-2(K-DDST-2). The children were tested with regard to handwriting legibility, visual perception, visual-motor integration and fine-motor coordination. Results : First, a significant relationship was not found among handwriting legibility, visual perception, visualmotor integration and fine-motor coordination. Second, a significant relationship was found among handwriting speed, visual perception and fine-motor coordination. Third, stepwise multiple regression analyses showed that general visual perception were significant predictors for handwriting speed. Conclusion : Occupational therapists should evaluate children's visual perception levels utilizing a standardized test, and focus on general visual perception in order to improve handwriting skill(speed). Also, occupational therapists are expected to play an important role in the management and treatment of children's handwriting skills.

The Relations Between Writing Ability of a Preschool Child and Functional Achievement Ability (취학 전 아동의 글씨쓰기와 기능적 과제수행과의 상관관계)

  • Objective : The purpose of this research is to choose scissoring, handling chopsticks, wearing a jacket with buttons as a significant subject in order to understand relations between writing ability of a preschool child and functional achievement ability. Methods : The subjects are 66 preschool children under the age of 5. The research has conducted for 1 week by using writing test, scissoring, handling chopsticks, wearing a jacket with buttons as an indicator of valuation. We collected statistics by using program called SPSS WIN 14.0 for the process of analysis. Results : The score of writing ability which is one of the common characteristic of subject has a significant difference in terms of statistics according to the gender. the score of girls are higher($13.33{\pm}2.55$) than boys($11.92{\pm}2.52$). Writing ability has a significant relativity with the achievement ability of scissoring(r=0.244, p=0.048),handling chopsticks(r=0.403, p=0.001), achievement ability in terms of statistics. Conclusion : A significant difference between writing ability according common characteristics of children is showed based on the gender. writing ability has a significant relativity with the achievement ability of scissoring, handling chopsticks, achievement ability.

  • 본 논문에서는 한글 글립(glyph)의 형태학적 분석을 통해 자동으로 획을 분할하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 thinning된 한글 글립의 골격(skeleton) 이미지를 기반으로, 획 분리, 획 병합, 그리고 획 볼륨 복원의 세가지 단계를 거쳐 한글의 기본 획들을 추출해 낸다. 실험 결과, 트루타입폰트(TrueType Font)에 대해서는 80%, 손글씨(Handwriting) 글립에 대해서는 72%의 획 분할 정확도를 보였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 획득된 획 정보를 이용하여, 향후 한글 손글씨 생성을 위한 연구를 하고자 한다.

Effects of Fidget Spinner Training Targeted on Hand Function and Handwriting Legibility of Elementary Lower Grades (초등학교 저학년 아동을 대상으로 한 피젯 스피너 훈련이 손 기능과 글씨쓰기 명료도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of fidget spinner training on the hand function and handwriting legibility of lower grade elementary school studens. Methods : This study randomly assigned a study group of 12 children and control group of 12 children from 24 children in grade 1 and 2 (ages 7 through 8), whose are dominantly right handed. The study used was a pre-post process. The intervention was conducted only on the study group twice a week for 5 weeks and for 40 minutes per session, for a total of ten sessions. The measuring instruments used to compare the hand functions and handwriting legibility were the Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test, Grip Strength Test, and Legibility Test. The data analysis used a Wilcoxon signed rank, Mann-Whitney U and Chi-Square cross analysis. Results : The fidget spinner training showed significant improvement in the study group's hand function(grip strength and handwriting legibility) and a significant difference was shown between the control and study groups. Conclusion : This study confirmed the value and utility of a fidget spinner as a tool for improving the hand function and handwriting legibility of elementary school students in lower grades. Future studies are expected to verify the effectiveness of the fidget spinner training based on the present study.

Design of Handwriting-based Text Interface for Support of Mobile Platform Education Contents (모바일 플랫폼 교육 콘텐츠 지원을 위한 손 글씨 기반 텍스트 인터페이스 설계)

  • This study proposes a text interface for support of language-based educational contents in a mobile platform environment. The proposed interface utilizes deep learning as an input structure to write words through handwriting. Based on GUI (Graphical User Interface) using buttons and menus of mobile platform contents and input methods such as screen touch, click, and drag, we design a text interface that can directly input and process handwriting from the user. It uses the EMNIST (Extended Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology database) dataset and a trained CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to classify and combine alphabetic texts to complete words. Finally, we conduct experiments to analyze the learning support effect of the interface proposed by directly producing English word education contents and to compare satisfaction. We compared the ability to learn English words presented by users who have experienced the existing keypad-type interface and the proposed handwriting-based text interface in the same educational environment, and we analyzed the overall satisfaction in the process of writing words by manipulating the interface.

A Study on the Distribution, Contents and Types of Stone Inscription of Wuyi-Gugok in China (중국 무이구곡 바위글씨(石刻)의 분포와 내용 및 유형에 관한 연구)

  • Through literature research and field investigation, this paper attempts to study the distribution, morphology and the typification of the visual and perceptual stone inscription in Wuyi-Gugok of China. The results are as follows: First, there are 350 stone inscriptions in total from the 1st Gok to 9th Gok in Wuyi-Gugok. Second, according to the analysis of the stone inscription distribution, 74(21.2%) stone inscriptions in the 5th Gok, 67(19.2%) in the 6th Gok, 65(18.6%) in the 1st Gok, 60(17.2%) in the 2nd Gok and 53(15.2%) in the 4th Gok are confirmed. The above five Goks contain 319(91.1%) stone inscriptions, so they have rich cultural landscape. Third, according to the survey, the number of the stone inscriptions existed in the Sugwangseok of the 1st Gok are 41(22.6%), in the Homagan of Cheonyubong of the 6th Gok are 29(8.3%), in the Jesiam of the 4th Gok are 23(6.6%), in the Nyeongam of the 2nd Gok are 22(6.3%), in the Hyangseongam of the 6th Gok are 21(6%), in the Unwa of the 5th Gok are 19(5.4%), in the Bokhoam of the 5th Gok are 18(5.1%), in the Eunbyeongbong of the 5th Gok are 17(4.9%), in the Daejangbong of the 4th Gok are 14(4%), in the Daewangbong of the 1st Gok and the Geumgokam of the 4th Gok are 12(3.4%). Thus, a total of 228 (65.1%) stone inscriptions are concentrated in these 11 sites, which represent the popularity and cultural value of these rocks. Fourth, the stone inscription of Wuyi-Gugok, praising the landform and topographical geological landscape of Mount Wuyi, mainly describe the scenic name of each Gok related to Zhu Xi's Gugok culture, appreciate Zhu Xi's tracks and the stone inscription in the sacred land of Neo-Confucianism culture, and also record the Confucian edification of mencius thoughts, Muigun(武夷君) and the myths and legends related to the site names of Wuyi mountain, which can remind people of the worldview of the celestial paradise where the gods live and the fairyland of the land of peach blossoms. In addition, it indicates that the historical and cultural landscape, which is full of colorful history and myths and legends, including allusions related to Confucian, buddhist and Taoist celebrities and the ancestor ancient things related to traditional culture of China is very diverse. Fifth, the results of the classification, based on the content of the stone inscription in Wuyi-Gugok, are classified as the scenery name inscription, the praise scene inscription, the recording travel inscription, the recording event inscription, the philosophy inscription, the expressing emotion inscription, the religion inscription, the inscription for auspiciousness, the slogan and expressing ambition inscription and the official document notice inscription, among which there are 102(29.1%) praise scene inscriptions, 93(26.6%) scenery name inscriptions and 61(17.4%) recording travel inscriptions. The stone inscriptions of Wuyi-Gugok have the characteristics of the special emphasis on scenery names, landscape praise and commemorative tours. Sixth, the analysis of the intertext between the 「Figure of Wuyi-Gugok」 and Wuyi-Gugok rock letters, in the study found that the method of propagation between media was mostly the method of propagation of quotations and maintained intermedia through extension, repetition, extension, and compression.
