Development and Evaluation of a Dysphagia Assessment Tool and an Intervention Program for the Elderly in the Long-Term Care Facilities (노인요양시설 노인의 연하곤란 사정도구, 중재프로그램 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a dysphagia assessment tool and a intervention program for elderly in the long-term care facilities and to evaluate its effect. The dysphagia assessment tool consists of 20 items was developed through literature review, previous studies and discussion with nursing/medical members. The intervention program consisted of 72 items and participants for evaluation were 50 elders who were registered at long-term care facilities in 4 regions of Seoul. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 and Spearman's Correlation, t-test, and $x^2$-test. After the application of the dysphagia assessment tool and intervention program, the weight in experimental group was increased (t=4.913, p=.000) and the total time of swallowing was reduced (t=-4.557, p=.000) than control group. These findings were statistically significant. Considering these results, by applying the dysphagia assessment tool and the intervention program, the lives of the elderly in long-term care facilities are expected to be improved and emergency situations such as aspiration pneumonia and asphyxia will be decreased.

Research on Nurses' Stress for Elderly care and Stress - Coping Strategies (간호사의 노인환자 간호에 의한 스트레스와 그 대처방법 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate stresses from job, patients and guardians experienced by general hospital nurses caring for elderly patients and their stress coping methods. For this study, data were collected from 280 nurses employed at general hospitals with the capacity of more than 400 beds which were located in Seoul. Frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized to analyze the data and Scheffe test was used to conduct post-hoc tests. This study found that, of the general hospital nurses' three types of stresses, stress from guardians was the most serious one, followed by stress from patients and stress from job; and that, of the six coping methods utilized by the general hospital nurses, social support was the most-utilized one, followed by problem-focused coping strategy, positive perspective, tension relaxation, indifference and hopeful perspective. Based on these findings, follow-up studies were suggested to develop the hospital nurses' abilities to cope with the ever-changing complex circumstances for the elderly patients.

Kindergarten Teacher's Difficulties the Relationships between Teacher and Parents (교사-부모 관계에서 경험하는 유치원 교사의 어려움)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify difficulties in the relationships between kindergarten teachers and parents and find out factors that make the relationship difficult. The research questions are as follows: Firstly, what are the difficulties of the kindergarten teachers in making relationship with the parents? Secondly, what are the reactions of the kindergarten teachers toward the difficulties in making relationships with the parents? The research participants were 15 teachers of private kindergartens located in C city. Semi-structured interviews were administered to the participants. Their responses were categorized into several themes while examining transcribed data continuously. The difficulties expressed by the kindergarten teachers were analyzed into "Teacher aspect" and "Parent aspect". The research findings were as follows. Firstly, the teachers found difficulty with particular characteristics of parents and their demands. Also, teachers found difficulty with making positive relationships with the parents because they perceived problems from their own perspective. Secondly, The teachers' reactions towards the difficulties of the relationships with the parents appeared into 4 different types.

  • People's values as well as their behavioral form of using a product are changing due to the rapid introduction of diverse cultures and the Five-day workweek system. The single and the married are the subjects of this study: it is aimed to evaluate and analyze, thus grasping their difference in behavioral form of using a washing machine, the main factors they consider to be important when purchasing one, and the level of satisfaction they get from their own washers. A questionnaire was used as a tool for a better Factor Analysis and Frequency Analysis research. There were 6 essential factors which unmarried people take into consideration when purchasing a washer: economical efficiency, measure of capacity, design, type, brand and advertising, function. On the other hand, economical efficiency, convenience, measure of capacity, function, and type was what the married thought would be the 6 central factors.

  • Kangwonland has been the only domestic casino and movement in casino industry has not been notable, but if more domestic casinos open in the future, it is inevitable those casino workers will move for the better remuneration and working condition. In this situation, in order to keep the previous customers and create new ones, we need to realize the importance of workers who lead customers' satisfaction. For this purpose, we need to find out the influential factors which affect the job satisfaction of the workers and try to turn the worker's satisfaction into good customer service. Despite the importance of casino workers, previous researches about casino industry focused only on economic effects, and there was few systematic research about the casino workers considering their job characteristics who provide services to customers in field. Therefore, this research aims to grasp influential factors of job satisfaction of casino dealers, analyze satisfaction and find out the ways to enhance the satisfaction. This will eventually help profit maximization of the casino company by improving the service quality. For this purpose, research was conducted whether job itself, relationship with the supervisors, promotion, remuneration, working environment affect the job satisfaction of the employees meaningfully and whether job satisfaction changes according to demographic characteristics.

  • With construction projects continuously becoming more massive and complex, risk factors have been consistently increasing. To achieve a successful project, it is very important to identify and cope with such risk factors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest plans of reducing risk, not only for describing the drafting process for construction planning but also for systematically organizing constraints and risk factors in earth work, foundation work and reinforced concrete construction. To achieve these objectives, this study 1) analyzes previous theories about risk classification structure, 2) performs a case study of an actual project to embody the problems of safety management by analyzing the results of an interview with a construction engineer. In conclusion, the following factors were systematically organized: 1) characteristics of construction site (purpose, structure, floor, etc.); 2) the actual application conditions of the main construction methods; 3) the relationship between constraints and risk factors.

The proposal about the effective management of outside data (외부 병원 Data의 효율적 관리에 대한 제언)

  • 외부 데이터가 진료병원 Server에 저장됨에 있어서 판독을 의뢰하지 않을 경우, 대부분의 병원이 무상으로 이루어 지고 있는 상황이며 이에 외부 데이터 단순 import의 효율적인 관리를 위한 수가 적용 여부를 검토하였다. 2007년 3월부터 4월까지 서울 경기 지역의 PACS가 도입 된지 1년 이상, 병상 수 500Bed 이상의 종합 대학병원 25곳에 근무하는 각 병원의 PACS 운영실 및 PACS 관리자를 대상으로 하였다. 외부 데이터에 관한 10가지 항목의 설문지를 작성하여 각 병원의 PASC 담당자 및 관리자를 대상으로 E-mail을 이용한 자기 기입 방식, 전화를 통한 질의응답 방식으로 조사하였다. 조사된 25개의 종합 대학병원의 96%이상이 외부 데이터 단순 import를 지원하고 있었으며, 그 중 92%의 병원은 무상으로 이루어지고 있었다. 이와 같이 진행 되는 부분에 대하여 각 병원의 PACS 담당자 70% 이상이 단순 import에 대한 수가 적용의 필요성을 느끼고 있으며, 현재 많은 병원에서 단순 import의 무상 지원으로 인한 문제점을 인식하고 있었다. K병원을 기준으로 단순 import에 년간 H/W 소요 비용은 336만원이고, 년간 인건비 소요비용은 421만원이다. 또한 단순 import 한 건당 평균 데이터 size는 48MB 정도로 조사되었다. 환자 입장에서 진료에 참고자료로 사용 될 외부 데이터의 정확한 저장과 정당한 PACS 사용을 위해서는 그에 상응하는 수가가 적용 되어야 할 것이다. 보험심사평가원 급여기준에 따라 수가적용이 인정되어 의료영상 디지털화로 인한 초기의 고액 투자비용 보장과 회수를 위해 단순 Import의 수가 적용이 반드시 필요하다고 사료 된다.

의류업체의 시장지향성, 판매원의 직무능력이 판매원 만족에 미치는 영향

  • 고객의 가치를 창조해나가기 위해 고객을 중시하 는 시장지향적인 기업문화가 확산되며, 이와 함께 판 매현장 최일선에서 고객을 직접 응대하며 기업의 시 장지향성을 실현하고 고객을 관리하는 패션판매원의 중요성이 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 시장지향 적인 기업문화와 판매원의 중요성이 높아짐에 따라 본 연구는 의류업체의 시장 지향성의 유형을 밝히고, 이러한 시장지향적 노력이 판매원의 능력과 함께 의류업체의 판매원의 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이들의 규명을 통해 궁극적으 로 기업의 성과에 기여하는 판매원 만족에 영향을 미치는 시장지향성의 유형과 판매원의 능력 유형을 밝혀 의류업체의 시장지향적 기업문화 실현에 기여 하고자 하였다. 설문지를 이용한 실증적인 조사연구방법이 사용 되었고, 연구대상은 서울과 분당에 위치한 L백화점의 여성복 의류매장에 근무하고 있는 삽마스터 600 명을 대상으로 하였다. 선행연구를 근거로 하고 의류 업체에 맞게 수정 보완한 질문지를 사용하여, 최종 분석된 설문지는 547부이다. 자료분석은 SPSS pc + 8.0올 이용하여 빈도분석, 백분율, 요인분석, 중다회 귀분석을 사용하였다. 수거된 질문지를 통계처리 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의류업체의 시장지향성을 요인분석한 결과 '시장정보의 획득'시장정보의 확산', '시장정보에 대 한 반응'의 세 요인으로 나눌 수 있었다. 시장정보를 획득하는 활동에는 매장의 소비자조사. POS시스템 의 활용. 삽마스터 회의에의 관심, 경쟁 브랜드 조사 그리고 판매사원을 통한 고객의 반응 조사 등의 내 용이 포함된다. 시장정보를 확산시키고자하는 활동 에는 매장에서 본사로 상황을 보고하고, 고껴의 시정 요구를 해결하고자 하는 노력. 판매원이 제시하는 소 비자동향의 반영, 그리고 삽마스터 회의 등씩 내용이 포함되며, 시장정보에 대한 반응은 풍부한 물량공급 과 히트상품의 지속적인 공급을 활동 내용으로 한다' 둘째, 의류업체의 시장지향성은 판매원의 만족도 에 정적인 영향을 나타냈다. 이는 의류업체가 시장정 보 수집에 적극적이고, 매장과 긴밀한 정보교류를 하 며, 수집된 정보를 적극 활용하여 상품개발이나 공급 등의 노력을 보일 때 판매원이 회사에 대해 강한 신 뢰감을 느껴 만족감을 느끼게 되고 이것이 바로 성 과로 이어질 수 있는 것을 의미한다. 셋째, 판매원의 회사전략 인지능력, 의류제조과정 인지능력. 고객서버스 능력, 자율적인 목표설정 능력. 고정고객관리능력이 클수록 직무자체와 인간관계에 대한 만족도가 높게 나타나 판매원의 직무한력은 판 매원의 만족에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 는 의류업체에서 능력 있는 판매원을 육성하거나 영 입하는데 힘써야 함을 시사하는 결과이다.

Development of a Perception of Importance on Patient Safety Management Scale (PI-PSM)for Hospital Employee (병원 의료종사자의 환자안전관리 중요성 인식 측정도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a perception of importance on patient safety management scale (PI-PSM) for Hospital Employee. The PI-PSM was developed and vallidated as follows: item generation, vertification of content validity, pilot study, and test of validity and reliability. In order to verify preliminary instrument, data was collected from 280 hospital employees. Data were analyzed by Varimax factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. There were 21 items in final instrument categorized into 4 factors as 'concern about patient safety management (7 items)', 'confidence about patient safety management (5 items)', 'will for patient safety management (5 items)', and 'recognition about patient safety management (4 items)'. The total varience explanined was 60.4%. The internal consistency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. was .86, and reliability of the sucscales ranged from .69 to .87. The results of this study may useful to assess the perception of importance on patient safety management.

The Factor Influencing Health Status among Female Office Workers (여성 사무직 근로자의 건강에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of work factor/home factor on health status in women office workers. This study investigated the relationship of various influencing factors between health status using claims data of the The Fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey sample from 2017. To this end, we employed logistic regression analysis using sample data from 3,115 female office workers. Logistic regression results indicate that influential factors were ages, employment status, satisfaction with the work environment, sex ratios at workplace, economic burden, childcare burden, housework burden. We discussed several policy and academic implications. As women become more active in society, the number of female workers is increasing. If employers improve the health status of female workers, they will benefit from improved productivity in their business. Therefore, improving the work conditions of the those female workers is very important. Also, practical policy considerations should be needed for female workers to strengthen their social capital in order to enhance their status of health.
