최근 스마트폰 태블릿PC 등 모바일 기기에 활용된 정보통신기술이 차량용 인포메이션 시스템 개발에도 넓게 활용되고 있다. 음성인식 기술을 이용해 차량을 조작하는 일은 그 대표적인 예라 할 수 있다. 지엔에스티(주)는 이러한 차량용 음성인식 마이크 모듈을 제조 판매하는 전문기업이다. 2009년 설립된 신생기업이지만, 앞선 생산설비의 구축과 끊임없는 연구개발을 통해 국내 차량용 음성인식 마이크 모듈 시장을 장악했다. 실제로 이곳 제품들은 국내 최고 자동차 기업인 현대 기아자동차에 보급되면서 기술력을 인정받고 있다. 이처럼 지엔에스티(주)가 짧은 역사에도 불구하고 최고의 제품을 만들며 독보적인 위상을 구축할 수 있었던 비결은 무엇일까. 이 같은 물음에 이곳의 모든 관계자들은 사업장 내 안전이 먼저 확보됐었기에 가능한 일이었다고 입을 모아 말한다. 2009년 설립된 이후 단 한건의 안전사고가 발생하지 않았을 만큼 철저한 안전관리가 전개되고 있다. 근로자의 안전과 건강을 생각하며 사람 중심의 안전관리를 실천하고 있는 지엔에스티(주)를 찾아가봤다.

This study was conducted on 238 dental hygienists working in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. In order to understand the status of harmful transmission of dental materials by type of work, we compared the differences in exposure time and work environment characteristics of hospital types and investigated the difference in the degree of recognition of material safety data. The results of the study were as follows: In case of hospitals, the exposure time of dust generated from chemicals was the longest. Resin filling, contact with disinfectant. 37 workers (29.4%) and 14 workers (12.5%) answered that they perceive the question about whether they are aware of the material safety data sheet (MSDS) for dental materials. There were 18 hospital workers and 6 clinic workers who had experience reading MSDS before using dental materials. The respondents who answered that they provided the material safety data of the dental materials used had a 2.39 times MSDS in hospital workers. Therefore, by recognizing the health hazards of chemical substances in accordance with the characteristics of each type of hospital and continuing to conduct health and safety education, the work environment should be improved by establishing proper recognition of MSDS information. It suggests the necessity of a system that can strengthen the management of chemical information provision and guarantee the strategic approach and workers' right to know.

The aims of this study was to investigate the effect of workplace support and access to workplace counseling on the depression level of employees who are workplace bullying victims and then find cross-level interaction effects between individual and group factors. A multi-level analysis was conducted using data from 642 individuals who reported experiencing workplace bullying in the 2017 National Human Rights Commission survey. The findings indicate that a worker's perceived safety of their workplace is negatively associated with depression levels. Additionally, higher perceived workplace support and access to workplace counseling were associated with lower depression levels. Lastly, a positive interaction effect was observed between access to workplace counseling and perceived workplace support in relation to depression levels. That is, higher access to workplace counseling increases the negative effect of workplace support on depression levels of employees. These results highlight the importance of creating protective factors such as a safe and supportive organizational culture to combat workplace bullying of coworkers or supervisors, and implementation of counseling and support services to assist victims in coping with workplace bullying and reducing depression symptoms.

사고는 잠재적 사고원인에 대한 인식 부족이나 그 위험성을 등한히 함으로써 발생되는 것으로, 절대로 우발적으로 발생되지 않는다. 이 재해 발생 원인인 불안전한 상태 또는 행동은 사전에 발견할 수 있으며, 사고의 가능서은 제거가 가능하다. 그러므로, 전기로 인한 재해를 방지하기 위해서는 전기기기 설치시에는 관련규정에 적합하게 시설함은 물론 만약 기기 사고시에도 인체를 보호할 수 있는 각종 안전장치의 시설을 완비하는 것이 필요하며, 또한, 이와같은 기기가 정상적으로 작동될 수 있도록 평상시 안전점검을 철저히 하고 근로자의 불안전한 행동을 없애기 위하여 안전지식 및 안전의식 고취를 위한 안전교육 실시 등의 재해예방 활동에 만전을 기해야 할 것이다.

The construction industry has a higher mortality rate of accidents than other industries although safety is recently being more important, and it has become a serious problem that needs to be improved. To reduce the number of accidents at construction sites, improving the safety awareness of construction workers is urgent because the lack of safety awareness is one of the key reasons for construction accidents. For this reason, this study compares and analyzes the safety awareness of construction managers and construction workers. Our research shows that the safety awareness of construction workers is lower than that of construction managers, and they have a different perspective on safety management. The development plan for improving the safety awareness of construction workers based on these results is proposed, and it will potentially help reducing the frequency of accidents at building construction sites.

그동안 우수한 안전관리로 이름을 떨치는 건설현장은 주로 대형건설사가 시공을 하는 현장이었다. 중소현장의 경우 인력 및 재무상태가 대기업에 뒤처지다보니 안전관리에 소홀하다는 인식이 지배적이었다. 헌데 최근 이런 인식이 한낱 편견에 불과함을 여실히 보여주는 현장이 있어 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 그 주인공은 바로 중견 건설사인 티이씨건설이 시공을 하고 있는 '명지대 자연캠퍼스 산학협력관 및 제2예체능관 신축공사현장'이다. 이곳 현장은 고용노동부가 지정한 자율안전컨설팅 대상현장으로 체계적인 안전활동과 책임 있는 자율안전관리가 펼쳐지고 있다. 특히 이곳은 현장소장을 필두로 모든 현장 구성원이 적극 재해예방활동에 참여함으로써 '공생 안전'의 모범도 보이고 있다. 이곳이 이처럼 안전에 총력을 기울이는 이유는 시공 현장이 학교이기 때문이다. 즉 안전사고가 발생해 근로자는 물론 우리나라의 미래인 학생들의 몸과 마음에 해가 가는 일이 없도록 안전에 각별한 주의를 기울이고 있는 것이다. 빈틈없는 안전관리로 중견건설사의 저력과 신념을 보여주고 있는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

The construction safety policy of Korea requires safety reviews at design stages, which affect the perceptions and attitudes of the workers toward safety. Despite this heightened social interest in safety, there is no related research in the field of landscape architecture. This study entails a review of the status of landscape construction accidents in Korea and an assessment of landscape engineers' perception of construction safety climate and safety behaviors. A survey of landscape constructors and designers was performed, and the obtained data were statistically analyzed. The results indicate the following: (1) More than half of the accidents which are registered in CSI occurred in apartment houses ordered by the private sector in the type of facility and planting works in the landscaping process; (2) Landscape designers were better aware of safety than landscape constructors. Among them, safety attitude, work risk, work participation, and work pressure were statistically significant; Apart from the statistical significance, landscape designers recognized the importance of safety highly but they tended to have a relatively low perception of specific safety behaviors. (3) Lastly, landscape constructors attributed less importance to safety review during the design stage compared to other items.

산업안전 문제는 과거 기업의 인사노무 관리에서 뒷전에 밀리는 경향을 보였으나 요즘은 다르다. 사업주와 근로자의 안전에 대한 인식이 높아지며 산업재해 예방은 기업 인사관리의 주요 관심사의 하나로 자리 잡았다. 그러나 영세 소규모 기업들은 산재 예방에 대한 투자 여력 부족에 따라 아직도 산재가 매우 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 이런 점에서 한국산업안전공단이 주도적으로 영세 중소기업의 산재예방을 위한 시설투자 자금, 환경 개선 자금을 지원하는 '클린사업장 조성사업(클린사업)'은 실효성 높은 재해방지 프로젝트로 평가되고 있다. 인쇄업계의 관심도 매우 크다. 재해예방과 작업환경 개선에 도움을 주는 이 사업은 구인난 해소에도 크게 기여하고 있다.

일선 현장에서 아직도 재해의 주 요인이 근로자의 불안전한 행동임을 인식하고 그에 대한 대책을 대부분 안전교육 측면에서 찾고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 재해는 줄어들지 않고 오히려 더 늘어나는 추세에 있어 새로운 대책 마련이 시급히 요구되어진다. 또한 지금의 동종재해나 유사재해를 예방하는 측면에서 실시하는 재해분석방법은 일반적이고 형식적인 면에 치우치고 있어, 실제적으로 재해예방에 크게 도움이 되지 않는다. 비록 늦었지만 건설업에 현장실정에 맞는 새로운 재해분석 방법을 제시할 필요가 있다.(중략)
