A Study on Political Attitude Estimation of Korean OSN Users (온라인 소셜네트워크를 통한 한국인의 정치성향 예측 기법의 연구)

  • Recently numerous studies are conducted to estimate the human personality from the online social activities. This paper develops a comprehensive model for political attitude estimation leveraging the Facebook Like information of the users. We designed a Facebook Crawler that efficiently collects data overcoming the difficulties in crawling Ajax enabled Facebook pages. We show that the category level selection can reduce the data analysis complexity utilizing the sparsity of the huge like-attitude matrix. In the Korean Facebook users' context, only 28 criteria (3% of the total) can estimate the political polarity of the user with high accuracy (AUC of 0.82).

  • 의사소통에서 대화자 간 감정의 이해는 메시지의 내용만큼이나 중요하다. 비언어적 요소에 의해 감정에 관한 더 많은 정보가 전달되고 있기는 하지만, 텍스트에도 화자의 감정을 나타내는 언어적 표지가 다양하고 풍부하게 녹아 들어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 인간언어공학에 활용할 수 있는 감정 온톨로지를 설계하는 데 있다. 텍스트 기반 감정 처리 분야의 선행 연구가 감정을 분류하고, 각 감정의 서술적 어휘 목록을 작성하고, 이를 텍스트에서 검색함으로써, 추출된 감정의 정확도가 높지 않았다. 이에 비해, 본 연구에서 제안하는 감정 온톨로지는 다음과 같은 장점을 갖는다. 첫째, 감정 표현의 범주를 기술 대상(언어적 vs. 비언어적)과 방식(표현적, 서술적, 도상적)으로 분류하고, 이질적 특성을 갖는 6개 범주 간 상호 대응관계를 설정함으로써, 멀티모달 환경에 적용할 수 있다. 둘째, 세분화된 감정을 분류할 수 있되, 감정 간 차별성을 가질 수 있도록 24개의 감정 명세를 선별하고, 더 섬세하게 감정을 분류할 수 있는 속성으로 강도와 극성을 설정하였다. 셋째, 텍스트에 나타난 감정 표현을 명시적으로 구분할 수 있도록, 경험자 기술 대상과 방식 언어적 자질에 관한 속성을 도입하였다. 이때 본 연구에서 제안하는 감정 온톨로지가 한국어 처리에 국한되지 않고, 다국어 처리에 활용할 수 있도록 확장성을 고려했다.

Dipole과 quadrupole 성분의 변화에 의한 SC 24/25 극소기의 태양 자기장의 예측

  • 최근 태양주기 21, 22, 23을 지나 24주기로 감에 따라 태양활동의 지표인 태양상수, 행성간 자기장, 태양극자기장 등과 같은 여러 태양물리량들이 감소하여 태양 활동이 약화되었고 23/24주기의 극소기가 길어졌다. 태양 자기장의 극성은 대체로 Dipole의 형태로 근사하여 나타나지만 dipole 뿐만 아니라 Quadrupole 등과 같은 다중극의 합으로 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 Wilcox Solar Observatory (WSO)에서 제공하는 21주기부터 23주기 동안의 총 태양 자기장의 구조화 함수 coefficient의 세기, dipole 성분 및 Multipole 성분의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 최근 23 태양주기 시작 이후로 총 태양 자기장의 세기가 감소하는 추세를 보이며 21, 22주기에 비해 23주기에 multipole 성분 보다 dipole 성분이 더 큰 감소율을 보여 dipole이 약해지고 multipole이 강해진 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 태양활동 변화에 Multipole 성분도 중요한 역할을 한다고 볼 수 있다. 전반적으로 태양활동 극대기에는 dipole의 세력이 약하고 극소기에는 dipole의 세력이 강하게 나타난다. 또한 태양주기 23/24의 극소기일 때, 다중극 성분 중 특히 Quadrupole 성분이 차지하는 비율이 두드러지게 증가하였다. 태양활동 극소기에 23/24주기처럼 태양활동이 더 저조해지면 상대적으로 quadrupole 성분이 증가하게 되는 것으로 여겨진다. 그러므로, 다음 태양주기 24/25의 극소기에는 태양활동이 더 약해져서 Quadrupole 성분이 더욱 두드러지게 증가하게 될 것으로 예측된다.

Polarity of Charged Particles n XLPE Measured by Temperature Gradient Thermally Stimulated Surface Potential (온도 구배열자극측정법의한 XLPE하전입자의 극성판정)

  • This paper temperature gradient thermally stimulated surface potentian (TG-TSSP) in measurements are applied to the study of the polarity of trapped and ionic carriers in cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) filsm. In the thermally stimulated current in uniform temperature (TSC) of XLPE five peaks appear as indicated of the A B C D and E. In this paper A (at about -120$^{\circ}C$) D (at about 70$^{\circ}C$) and E (at about 110$^{\circ}C$) peaks are investigated. A peak is due to the biassing voltage and biassing temperature. Appear in to the glass transition temperature territory and caused in to the polarization of dipole. D peak is due to the depolarization of ionic space charge and E peak due to the detrapping of carriers injected from the electrodes. TG-TSSP and TSSP are measured to study the polarity of ionic carrier (D peak). In the unsatureated region of ionic space charge polarization, TG-TSSP is lower than TSSP during the initial stage of heating. Result of the experiment for E peak, TG-TSSP is higher than TSSP during the initial stage of heating and these results do not depend on the polarity of biassing voltage, and E peak is concerned with positive carriers (Holes).

  • In this paper, alkaline or acidic solution, in particular the principle of electrolysis to oxidize the metal surface to form a device isolation film is developed. In the past, mainly in the form of pulse voltage is applied to the anode only a unipolar method, but in this paper by using the H-bridge to the amount of the positive (+) voltage and the negative supply voltage, alternating voltage polarity devices were fabricated according to the characteristics of metal specimens with different electrical conditions to form an oxide film on the device was developed. Supply current variable was used for the PWM modulation, (+) and (-) polarity change of the H-bridge bipolar pulse voltage to supply the was that. As a result, a more uniform pores with unipolar film was formed.

  • In this paper the two-dimensional scattering rates were calculated in pseudomorphic Al/sub x//Ga/sub 1-x//As/Ga/sub y/In/sub l -y//As/GaAs heterostructure systems. The electronic states of the square quantum well were determined by the numerical self-consistent solution of Poisson's and Schrodinger's equations. The numerically obtained wave functions and energy levels were used to obtain the major two-dimensional scattering rates in this structure. Polar optical- and acoustic-phonon scattering, piezoelectric, ionized impurity and alloy scattering were considered for the first two sub-bands. The results were compared to the three-dimensional scattering rates also calculated in the same region.

  • This paper proposes a new method to acquire an initial rotor position for IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) without a position sensor at standstill. The proposed method is based on the variation of inductance caused by the magnetic saturation of stator core. Minimum number of voltage vectors are chosen to determine the initial rotor position. By using the resultant currents in combination with the inductance variation, the north pole and the absolute position of the rotor can be easily obtained. This method also has the advantage of not requiring motor parameters and additional hardware. Its validity is verified by experiments.

  • In this paper, modified EDNMOS device with DPS (double polarity source) structure are suggested to realize stable and robust ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection performance of high voltage operating microchip. This DPS structure inserts the P+ diffusion layer on N+ source side, which in intended to block lateral extension of the electron rich region from N+ source side. Based on our simulation results, the inserted P+ diffusion layer effectively prevents the formation of deep electron channeling induced by high electron injection. As a result, our proposed DPS_EDNMOS devices could overcome the double snapback effect of conventional Std_EDNMOS device.

Biological Activity Analysis of Potato-derived Polar Compounds (감자 유래 극성화합물의 생리활성 분석)

  • Natural substances have various physiological activities. Substances isolated from natural substances are known to be safer and more potent than pharmaceuticals. Potatoes not only act as energy sources but also contain active ingredients such as vitamins and minerals. In particular, the potato contains a large amount of polar compounds, including the saponin in the polar compounds, and the physiological activity of the saponins, such as immunity enhancement, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory is known. In this study, the antioxidative activity of polar compounds from five potatoes was examined by chemical base anti-oxidation assay and cell based anti-oxidation assay. In the chemical base anti-oxidation assay, DPPH experiment showed activity in the order of Hongyoung, Haryung, Seohong, Sumi, and Jayoung. In the LPA experiment, IC50 was lower in the order of Jayoung, Seohong, Sumi, Hongyoung, and Haryung. In the cell based anti-oxidation assay, the smallest amount of ROS was generated when the compound was derived from Haryung and hongyoung, and strong SOD activity was observed in Sumi and Jayoung. The results of this study reveal the antioxidative effect of polar compounds extracted from various kind of potatoes, which will enable the acquisition of new bioactive candidates and the establishment of new profit generation models for farmers.

  • Traditional poll-based preference analysis techniques are time-consuming, expensive, and limited in the domains they can survey. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a preference analysis system based on sentiment analysis. After collecting web documents using the keywords entered by the user, the polarity is calculated using the N-gram technique. To reduce the analysis time when analyzing a large amount of web documents, we designed and implemented a container-based system using worker services. Comparing the analyzed results of the proposed system with existing polls shows a difference of 1% to 8%.
