  • 최근 도시화 및 불투수면의 증가와 지하수의 과다한 사용으로 직접유출이 증가하고, 침투량이 감소하며, 하천의 건천화가 발생하고 있다. 이에 환경부에서는 이러한 물순환의 왜곡을 막기위해 물환경보전법상의 물순환율을 정의하고 물순환 관리목표를 설정하였다. 하지만 지역 별 물순환 특성을 반영한 관리계획이 부족하고, 현재 제한된 재원의 효율적 활용을 위해서는 물순환 관리지역에 대한 우선순위 결정도 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 PSR framework를 통해 유역 물순환 평가방법론을 만들고 이를 활용한 지역별 관리계획 및 우선순위를 결정하고자하였다. PSR framework는 지속가능성을 위해 OECD가 개발한 개념 모형이며, Pressure, State, Response 세 가지 요소로 구분해 평가하게된다. PSR framework의 기본 개념은 인간의 활동들이 환경에 압력 (P)를 주고, 이로 인해 자연의 질과 영향 (S)을 미치며, 이에대한 회복을 위해 인식과 행동을 통해 정책과 제도 등을 통해 반응 (R)한다는 것이다. 유역 물순환을 4가지 그룹 (기후, 수문학적, 사회경제학적, 환경적)으로 구분하고 각 그룹 별 평가요소에 대하여 도출하였다. 기후그룹은 강우, 수문학적 그룹은 증발산, 토지이용, 유출특성을, 사회경제학적 그룹은 재정, 사회구조, 기반시설, 정책을, 환경적 그룹은 수질, 수생태계를 선정하였다. 이후 각 요소 별 평가를 위해 다양한 지표를 고려하여 선정하였으며, 각 지표를 PSR framework에 맞춰 재분류하였다. 각 지표를 하나의 점수로 통합하기 위해 지표 별 가중치를 산정하였으며, 이때 연구자의 주관이 반영되지않는 엔트로피 기법을 이용하여 산정하였다. 구한 식을 통해 우리나라 소유역구분을 기준으로 모든 지표를 계산하였으며, 각 지표에 가중치를 적용해 유역 종합점수를 산정하고 유역 별 취약지역 및 취약요소를 평가하였다.

TWO CLASS ACTIVITIES OF M&M CANDIES (M&M 쵸코렛을 이용한 교실에서의 통계활동)

  • Jim Libby(2000)는 임의의 M&M 밀크 쵸코렛 봉지에서 꺼낸 것을 다시 집어넣지 않고 3개의 쵸코렛을 꺼낼 때 같은 색이 나올 확률을 계산하는 방법의 논문을 썼다. Libby는 그의 논문에서 갈색, 노랑, 빨강, 주황, 초록, 파랑의 6개 색의 M&M 밀크 쵸코렛들이 똑같은 비율로 분포되었다고 가정하였다. 그러나 실제로 M&M 쵸코렛의 여섯 가지 색깔의 확률분포는 똑같은 비율이 아니다. M&M회사는 홈페이지(http://www.m-ms.com/cai/mms/faq.html)를 통해 실제적인 6개 색의 M&M 밀크 쵸코렛들의 분포는 갈색이 30%, 노랑과 빨간색이 각각 20% 주황, 초록과 파랑은 각각 10%의 분포라고 밝히고 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 Libby가 생각하였던 문제를 실제적인 6개 색의 M&M 밀크 쵸코렛들의 확률 분표에 의거하여 다시 생각해보며, 또한 3개의 쵸코렛대신 n개의 쵸코렛을 꺼낸다고 가정하여 더욱 일반적인 결론을 유도한다. 또한 유도한 이 정확한 확률 공식과 근사 공식을 활동을 통해 점검하고 학생들이 주도적으로 지금까지 배워온 이론들을 점검할 수 있게 하였다. 활동을 시작하기 전에 정확한 확률 공식과 근사 공식과의 관계를 설명하고 기본적인 확률과 통계의 개념을 다시 정립할 수 있도록 하였다. Piaget가 '지식이란 학습자에 의해 능동적으로 구성되는 것이지 환경으로부터 수동적으로 받아들이는 것은 아니다'라고 했듯이, 활동을 통한 학습은 학생들을 능동적으로 만들기 때문에 학생들이 지식을 구성해 갈 수 있다. 활동을 간단히 소개하면 다음과 같다. 활동I에서는 초코렛을 세어서 근사 확률을 추정하는 방법이 소개된다. 어떻게 매개변수가 두 공식에 관련이 되는지를 측정하고 두 공식을 사용하여 정확한 확률과 근사 확률을 계산하여 비교해본다. 각 조원들과 이 세 과정에서 무엇을 배웠나 토론하고 다른 조들과 배운 것을 나눈다. 활동II는 두 과정으로 나누어진다. 첫 번 과정은 각 그룹의 한 학생이 주어진 쵸코렛 봉지에서 3개의 쵸코렛을 꺼낸다. 다른 학생은 표 3에 나온 결과를 기록한다. 계속하여 20번씩 한다. 다시 학생을 바꾸어 20번 계속한다. 같은 색깔의 쵸코렛이 나온 확률은 계산하기 위한 간단한 실험이고 두 번째 과정은 각 조가 웹사이트나 선생님으로부터 제공받은 프로그램을 다운로드 받아 하는 시뮬레이션이다. 이 실험 후에 학생들이 이 두 활동을 통해 무엇을 배웠는지 토론해보고 또 두 활동을 비교해 볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 M&M 쵸코렛을 먹는 것으로 활동을 마칠 수 있을 것이다. 활동 II에 나오는 두 시뮬레이션은 학생들이 수학 이론의 힘을 깨달을 뿐 아니라 수학 교실에서 큰 재미를 느끼게 될 것이다. 이 논문에서 그래픽 계산기로 할 수 있는 프로그램을 소개하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있는 스마트 기기를 이용하여 개인의 포트폴리오를 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있는 방법을 소개 하고자 한다. 자신의 정보(인적사항)를 간단하게 보여주고, 주기적으로 활동 사항 및 자격증, 수상내역 등을 스마트폰을 이용하여 그 자리에서 입력을 할 수 있어 언제 무슨 활동을 했는지, 무슨 자격증을 취득 했는지를 바로 볼 수 있다. 안드로이드 운영체제를 이용하여 간단한 자기소개에 관한 틀을 만들어 쉽게 입력할 수 있게 구현했으며, 활동내역 및 자격증을 보기 쉽게 관리하기 위해 그룹별로 입력할 수 있게 구현하였다.

Analyzing the Privacy Leakage Prevention Behavior of Internet Users Based on Risk Perception and Efficacy Beliefs : Using Risk Perception Attitude Framework (위험지각과 효능감에 따른 인터넷 사용자의 개인정보 유출 예방행위 분석 : 위험지각태도 프레임웍을 기반으로)

  • Although many studies have focused on the influences and outcomes of personal information leakage, few studies have investigated how the personal information leakage prevention behavior differs depending on internet user. This study attempts to supplement the existing studies' limitations with the use of risk perception attitude (RPA) framework. More specifically, this study tries to show internet user can be classified into four groups based on perceived risk of personal information leakage and efficacy beliefs of personal information protection, and to identify how the groups differ in terms of motivation, information seeking, and behaviors for privacy leakage prevention. Analysis on survey data from 276 internet users reveals that the users can be classified into responsive, avoidance, proactive, indifference groups. Furthermore, there are differences between groups in terms of motivation, information seeking, and behaviors for personal information leakage prevention. This study contributes to expand existing literature by providing tailored guidelines for implementation of personal information protection strategies and policy.

  • In this article, we examine the current status and problems of research and development of social problem solving in university. Social problem solving R&D is characterized by pursuing social goals and participatory research and development. This paper summarizes the problems faced by the social problem solving R & D in the university and the remedies based on the focus group interview. 1) Establishment of 'the Social problem-solving R&D center' to create a base for embedding social problem-solving R&D within the university; 2) To develop and disseminate social problem solving research and development models suitable for universities; 3) Activation plans for vitalizing the participation of mainstream researchers and civil society in the social problem solving R&D were discussed.

A Review of Use of Outer Space for Military Purposes From an International Law Perspective (우주의 군사적 이용에 관한 국제법적 검토 - 우주법의 점진적인 발전을 중심으로 -)

  • The latest slogan put forth by the international space community is the safety, security, and sustainability of outer space activities. The security of outer space activities, in particular, would be defined as the secure state from space-based threats. The latter comprises passive threats (such as collision with other satellites and space debris) and aggressive threats (such as electromagnetic interference, arms race on the earth or in outer space, and military attacks). Has outer space been used for military purposes in practice? If so, does international law regulate the military space activities it? The use of outer space for military purposes is referred to as space militarization and space weaponisation. Satellites has been used in Gulf War, Kosovo War, and Afghan War, recently, and research and development on space weapons are under way. Since only the placement of weapons of mass destruction on orbit around the earth is prohibited in accordance with 1967 Outer Space Treaty, it may be asked whether other weapons may be placed on orbit. It will be necessary to analyze the stance of on the above question, by studying UN space-related treaties including UN Charter. New international space norms represented by PPWT, ICoC, and UN GGE Report are at the center of progressive development of international law. In conclusion, the author will signpost the various points on international norms to be codified on the use of outer space for military purposes.

The Effects of the Play with Multiplication Activities Based on Skemp's Theory on Mathematics Achievements and Attitudes towards Mathematics (Skemp 이론에 따른 곱셈 놀이활동이 수학학업성취도 및 수학적 태도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of using the play with multiplication activities based on Skemp's theory for mathematics achievements and attitudes toward mathematics of elementary school students. For this study, we rearranged Skemp's play activities according to our curriculum in the area of multiplication and applied them to the 2nd grade classes of an elementary school. The plays with multiplication activities were applied to the experimental group while traditional teaching method was used with the current mathematics textbook for the comparative group. We obtained the following conclusions: First, in terms of mathematics achievement, the experimental group who used the plays with multiplication activities based on Skemp's theory didn't show significant difference with the comparative group. Second, it proved that the plays with multiplication activities based on Skemp's theory was more effective for lower level of students than the higher level of students. Third, the plays with multiplication activities based on Skemp's theory have positive effects on improving students' attitudes toward mathematics. We need to use the plays with multiplication activities based on Skemp's theory in the classrooms and find problems with the applying the activities. In addition, we need to develop a more various activities based on Skemp's theory for a better teaching.

A Multiple Case Study on the Relationship Between School Music Experiences and Motivation for Music Engagement Among Adults in 20s (학교 음악 경험과 20대 성인의 음악 생활화 동기에 관한 다중사례 연구)

  • This study investigates the link between music integration in the lives of adults in their twenties and their school music experiences. Ten individuals in their twenties were interviewed to explore their experiences based on the self-determination theory's fundamental psychological needs (autonomy, competence, and relatedness). Participants were categorized into an active music engagement group (5 individuals) and an inactive group (5 individuals) for individual interviews. Transcripts were analyzed following the five steps of grounded theory data analysis technique. Results indicated a strong connection between music activities during school years and current motivation for music integration, associated with the fulfillment of psychological needs outlined in the self-determination theory. Particularly, this study identified the instructional methods, school music activities, and performance evaluations as closely related to autonomy, competence, and relatedness. It offers a comprehensive analysis of how experiences in these areas during school music activities correlate with values and motivations for music integration in adulthood. Additionally, the study suggests ways to promote the voluntary incorporation of music into life through positive experiences of autonomy, competence, and relatedness in music activities.

A Study on Preferences about Play, Laughing Activity, Digital Game in Elementary School Students (초등학생들의 놀이, 웃음활동, 디지털 게임의 선호도 실태 고찰)

  • This study was conducted to construct a program combining play and laughing activities with personality education. Self-recorded questionnaire was administered to investigate popularity of play(playing rules area, traditional play area, board game area), the laughing activity, digital games preference among 5th and 6th grade students. Most popular activities was board game area, followed by rule play area, traditional play area, and laughing activity in order. Group play among the rule play area, and Yutnory among traditional play, and digital games among board games were most preferred. This study suggest primitive classification and characterization of play and activities among senior elementary students. Further study for define classification of other eligible play and activities may be encouraged to establis high quality play and activity programs among elementary school students.

Study on nutrition, dietary and health status of middle-aged Korean men according to sedentary hours: based on the 2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (중장년 한국 남성의 좌식 시간에 따른 영양, 식이 및 건강행태 연구: 국민건강영양조사 제8기 1차년도(2019년) 자료를 이용하여)

  • Purpose: Adult Korean men belonging to the main economically active population are known to have long sedentary hours. This study was undertaken to determine the difference and relevance of sedentary hours on the nutrition, diet, and health status of adult men, and to suggest how to prevent health risk factors. Methods: Subjects (n = 1,068) were classified into 4 groups based on their sedentary hours, ranging from the first quartile (Q1) having the least hours spent sitting, to the fourth quartile (Q4) spending the longest hours. Results: Subjects belonging to Q4 had the lowest average age, the largest waist circumference, and the highest level of education. Among those engaged in economic activities, the ratio of white-collar workers was significantly higher in Q4. Accordingly, the rate of not doing high-intensity or moderate-intensity physical activity while working was also the highest in Q4. A significant difference was obtained in the drinking frequency between groups, but this was found to be associated with the average working hours rather than sedentary hours. The proportion of not doing aerobic exercise was higher with longer sitting hours. The highest diagnosis of diabetes (8.8%) was obtained in the Q4 group. Among the factors related to cardiovascular disease, only low density lipoprotein-cholesterol showed a significant difference, with Q4 being significantly higher than Q1. Considering energy and nutrient intake, vitamin B1 and calcium intake were the lowest in the group with the longest sitting hours, as well as the least consumption of vitamin C than the recommended estimated average requirement. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the health and nutritional status of Korean adult men are affected by sedentary hours. This should be recognized as a health risk factor and guidelines need to be developed for sedentary lifestyle management.
