The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of muscular strength, sensation, and spasticity of the hip joint on balance using clinical tools in chronic stroke patients. Thirty-two subjects participated. It were measured muscular strength of the hip flexor, extensor, abductor, and adductor using manual muscle testing, light touch sensibility, and spasticity of the quadriceps using the modified Ashworth scale in the paretic lower extremity. Also, static and dynamic balance were measured by the functional balance scale. Collected data was analyzed by stepwise multiple regression. Muscular strength of the hip abductor, light touch sensibility, and spasticity were associated with static balance(p<0.05) and explanatory power was 80.5%. Muscular strength of the hip abductor and light touch sensibility were associated with dynamic balance(p<0.05) and explanatory power was 77.9%. Thus, it is suggested that muscular strength of the hip abductor and light touch sensibility is considered when providing evaluation and intervention programs for the future in the balance.

This study analyzes the effects of the work-life balance of physical therapists on their job enthusiasm. Totally, 109 physical therapists at U city were enrolled in this study. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were the preferred methods of analysis, performed using the SPSS 22.0 program. Multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the causal relationship between variables. Our results confirmed that work-family conflict and family-work conflict, which are sub-factors of a work-life balance, did not significantly affect job enthusiasm. Moreover, both the work-family promotion and home-work promotion factors of work-life balance had a positively significant effect on job enthusiasm. This indicates that the work-life balance-conflict factor does not influence the job enthusiasm of a physical therapist. Moreover, a higher work-life balance-promotion of work-family promotion and home-work promotion factor, inculcates a higher job enthusiasm. We believe that results of this study will serve as basic data to formulate plans for physical therapists to maintain an appropriate work-life balance, thereby enhancing their job enthusiasm.

본 연구의 목적은 치료면의 질에 따른 복합균형운동프로그램이 균형능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 본 연구를 실시하였다. 정상 성인 21명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였으며 복합균형 운동을 실시한 Aero-step군(ASG)과 평지면군(Flat floor group;FFG) 그리고 처치 없이 실시한 대조군에게 Biodex balance system을 이용하여 전체안정성지수(Overall stability index;OSI), 전후안정성지수(Anteroposterior index;APSI), 좌우안정성지수(Mediolateral stability index;MLSI)를 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 전체안정성지수와 전후안정성지수는 Aero-step군의 그룹 내 비교에서 유의한 차이가 있었으며 좌우안정성지수는 평지면군의 그룹 내 비교에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 전후안정성지수의 그룹간 비교에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과에 따라 치료면의 질에 따른 복합균형운동이 안정된 지지면 보다는 불안정한 지지면의 균형능력 향상에 더 효과적이라 사료된다.

Cooperation among network users would be possible in a near future, as real time communication between them can be available by telematics. This implies that non-cooperative assumption like Wardrop's principle, which has been widely used so far in network modelling may not be appropriate for route choice problem. So a new principle requires for describing such cooperative case. This paper presents a criterion, which represents cooperative route choice behaviour among network users. With some examples, we compare the non-cooperative principle and the cooperative one presented in this paper. Numerical results from the examples show that the new principle would be better than the existing one.

This study examined the effects of vestibular stimulation training on the static and dynamic balance of patients with chronic stroke. This study was conducted from July 15th to September 6th, 2014 and 20 subjects diagnosed with stroke participated in this study. The subjects were divided randomly into Group I (general therapeutic exercise, n=10) and Group II (vestibular stimulation training, n=10). Both groups were trained for 40 minutes, 3 times a week, for 6 weeks. The balance ability, static balance and dynamic balance, were evaluated using a Good Balance System and compared before-and-after intervention. In the vestibular training group, there were statistically significant differences in the left-right and anterior-posterior balance with the eyes closed and standing posture, in the left-right and anterior-posterior balance with the eyes open and standing posture, and moving time and distance. In the general therapeutic exercise group, there was no significant difference except in the left-right balance with the eyes open and standing posture. In conclusion, vestibular stimulation training had positive effects on the static and dynamic balance of chronic stroke patients, and this training can be effective in a treatment program to improve the balance ability of stroke patients.

In order to create an organizational culture that prevents women's career breaks and promotes economic activities, this study aimed at developing educational content for workplace culture improvement for both male and female workers working at small and medium-sized enterprises in Jeollanam-do. The core content composition and content design specifically consider the characteristics of Jeollanam-do based on an advisory meeting of the field experts and researchers to ensure the on-site utilization of the content and the validity and consistency of the teaching content. The educational content is divided into three areas: understanding, effectiveness, and the implementation of a gender-sensitive work-life balance organizational culture. The aim of the content is for all employees to understand the meaning of work-life balance and to improve the organizational culture of their company from the perspective of individuals, families, companies, and society. In particular, the intention was to personally identify and implement measures to improve a gender-equal work-life balance, not only at work, but also with regard to domestic labor and leisure time. Furthermore, the content is presented from a gender-sensitive perspective that encompasses diversity, systems, and programs targeting women, men, single people, married people, young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities - all these groups are explained as examples. The content emphasizes that we should all actively participate in improving the organizational culture of our companies. In addition, the Women's New Work Center should seek ways to increase the motivation for the voluntary participation by companies and strengthen the expertise of instructors in work-life balance education.

균형된 불완비 블록계획이 존재하지 않는 경우 동반수가 연속적인 두 개의 정수값을 갖는 정규그래프계획(Regular Graph Designs :RGD)은 불완비 블록계획중에서 가장 효율적인 계획이 됨을 추측하였다(John과 Mitchell,1977). Brown(1988)은 주어진 모수를 이용하여 정규그래프계획의 존재 여부를 판단하는 방법을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 정규그래프계획의 존재여부를 판단하는 방법을 동반수가 3인 블록계획으로 확장하여 동반수가 3인 부분적으로 균형된 불완비 블록계획중에서 동반수가 3인 가장 균형된 계획 (3-concurrence most balanced designs)의 존재여부를 판단하는 방법을 제시하였다.

완전이면교배를 블록화하는 디자인으로 대개 부분적으로 균형된 불완비 블록계획을 사용한다. 이때 블록화하는 디자인으로 삼각형 PBIBD를 사용하기 위해는 대응되는 삼각형 PBIBD를 찾아야 한다. 특정한 모수를 갖는 균형된 불완비 블록계획의 쌍대계획이 삼각형 PBIBD가 되는 성질을 이용하면 삼각형 PBIBD를 새로 찾아야 하는 번거로움 없이 블록 완전이면교배를 설계할 수 있다. 이를 만족하는 블록 완전이면교배를 설계하는 방법과 디자인을 제시하였다.
