The Study on the Improvement of Antireflection Coating Efficiency According to the Angle of Incidence (입사각에 따른 반사방지막 성능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • This paper compares and calculates more precisely the averaged reflectance of antireflection coating with different structure of single and 6 layer assuming the incident angle of light changing from $8^{\circ}$ to $60^{\circ}$ not like normal incidence as usual case. The reflectivity of AR coating of 6 layers with 180 nm thickness having index profile suggested as linear and quintic function and single layer with same thickness having even index are calculated and compared, when the wavelength of incident light ranges from 400 nm to 1200 nm. As the results the AR coating with 6 layers having quintic(linear) function index profile shows the lower reflectance about 11.6 %(14.6 %) than other index profiles, which is approximately 8 % lower reflectance compared with single layer case(about 19.6 %). This results could be applied for the better antireflection coating design applying to optical devices and filters.

Radome Slope Estimation using Mode Parameter Renewal Method of IMM Algorithm (IMM 알고리듬의 모드 계수 갱신 방법을 통한 레이돔 굴절률 추정)

  • A radome mounted on the front of an aircraft can cause refraction errors for various reasons that occur during maneuver in seeking and tracking a target. This refraction error means that the microwave seeker is detecting apparent target. An Interactive Multiple Model (IMM) algorithm is applied to estimate radome slope mounted on an aircraft in 3D space. However, even though the parameter of uncertain system model such as radome slope can be estimated, the estimated performance can not be guaranteed when it exceeds the range of the predicted value. In this paper, we propose a method to update the predicted value by using the radome slope as the mode parameter of the IMM algorithm, and confirm the radome slope estimation performance of the proposed method.

The Study on the Antireflection(AR) Coating Design Scheme According to the Index Profile in the Thin-Film Silicon Solar Cell (굴절률 분포에 따른 박막 실리콘 태양전지 반사방지막 설계기술 연구)

  • This paper shows an antireflection coating design skill for utilization the thin-film silicon solar cell in the future. The reflectivity of each index profile previously suggested as linear, cubic and quintic function has been calculated and compared. Each index profile is applied to the antireflection coating consisting of 6 layers with 180nm thickness. Also we suggest the graded index profile and compare it's reflectivity to the linear, cubic and quintic's ones. As a results we find the reflectivity generally decreases as the order goes to higher. However the reflectivity in the graded index profile shows the higher(lower) value than ones in the linear, cubic and quintic especially in the shorter(longer) wavelength range from 500 nm to below 700 nm(above 700 nm to 800 nm). Therefore we find that the graded index profile structure could be applied for the better antireflection coating design scheme especially for optical device and optical filter in the range of from deep red to infrared.

공주 공산성 원형연못의 지반에 대한 탄성파 굴절법 탐사

  • 탄성파 탐사는 인공지진파를 이용하여 지표면 하부의 물성을 알아내는 지구물리탐사로서 20 세기 초부터 석유탐사와 공학적 지반조사에 가장 널리 사용되었다. 굴절법 탄성파 탐사는 지층의 탄성파 속도를 알아내는 방법으로서 최근에는 석조문화재 등의 지반특성 조사에서 사용된 예가 있다. 이번 연구에서는 공주 공산성의 쌍수정 광장에 위치하는 공산성 원형연못 주변의 지반에 대하여 굴절법 탐사를 실시하였다. 쌍수정 광장은 기존의 발굴조사를 통하여 백제 추정왕궁지가 위치한 곳으로 알려졌으며, 광장 남쪽에 원형연못(상면직경 7.3 m, 바닥직경 4.78 m, 높이 3 m)도 발굴되었다. 원형연못 주변에 5개 탄성파 측선을 설치하였고, 해머 타격점과 수신기의 배열을 3가지 다른 방식을 적용하여 24 m, 31 m, 48 m 측선깊이의 굴절법 자료를 얻었다. 대체로 공산성 원형연못 주변의 지반은 3개 층으로 구성되어 있다. 각 층의 겉보기 속도는 약 261${\~}$391 m/s, 약 591${\~}$992 m/s, 약 1950${\~}$3230 m/s이며, 첫 번째와 두 번째 층의 두께는 각각 약 2${\~}$2.4 m 와 4.6${\~}$8.6 m이다. 일반적으로 최하부 층의 속도는 기반암, 상부층들의 속도는 풍화토에 대응한다. 그러나 두 번째 층의 주시곡선 형태와 속도범위는 국내 석탑 문화재 하부의 것과 유사한 것으로 보아 공산성 연못주변은 인공적인 기초지반의 가능성을 제기하며, 그렇다면 공산성 원형연못은 파내려 간 것보다는 쌓아 올렸을 것이다.

Determination of optical properties of Pr3+-doped selenide glasses of Ge-Sb-Se system using spectroscopic ellipsometry (분광타원법을 이용한 Pr 첨가 Ge-Sb-Se 계열 셀레나이드 유리의 굴절률 결정)

  • By using the spectroscopic ellipsometry, we have measured and analyzed the optical characteristics of P $r^3$$^{+}$-doped selenide glasses of Ge-Sb-Se system, a strong candidate material for U band fiber amplifiers. The ellipsometric spectra measured in the transparent wavelengths range of the material were all fitted to a model consisting of ambient/roughness/thin fil $m_strate structures to obtain simultaneously the optical properties such as refractive index, in terms of Sellmeier parameters and film structure of P $r^3$$^{+}$-doped selenide glasses. Repeated measurements on different positions in both polished faces rendered to verify positional dependence of measured spectre-ellipsometric data. Hence, the model made possible the analysis of the optical characteristics of the glasses. Even though surface roughness was mainly responsible for the position dependencies, the averaged refractive indexes were as precise as to reflect the minute compositional change tantamount to 1 mol%. The measured refractive indexes are useful for design of core and clad compositions of single-mode selenide optical fibers.

  • The object of this study is experimental determination of the refraction coefficient(K) which is critical factor in the zenith distance measurement of precision trigonometrical leveling. Thus, the characteristics of seasonal, directional and daily variation of the refraction coefficients according to each district were presented in this paper. Comparing K value by the observed zenith distance with that calculated from the temperature gradient observed at Mt. Mudeung, we obtained satisfactory results.

  • The polarization properties of low birefringent optical fiber due to intrinsie birefringence and magnetooptic effects are theoretically analyzed and experimented. The low birefringent fiber is fo¬und to have more excellent polarization maintaining properties than normal single mode optical fiber. As the experimental results, the polarizability of low birefringent optical fiber is measured over 0.818. The variation of output polarization angle with input polarization angle is measured within $9^{\circ}$. Imple¬mented magnetic field measuring system using low birefringent optical fiber can linearly measure the magnetic field strength up to lOkAT generated by solenoid. The maximum error is 1.95% in the magnetic field strength of 4kAT.

  • 저출력 다이오드 여기 레이저에서는 공간모드 특성을 좋게하고 여기 효율을 올리기 위하여 단면 여기 방식을 주로 사용한다. 특히 레이저 다이오드 (LD)로 여기하는 단일모드 녹색광 레이저는 홀로그램, 간섭계, 측정기 등의 응용분야에서 수요가 날로 증가하고 있다. 단일모드 녹색광 레이저의 발진방법으로는 여러 가지가 고안되어 왔다. 먼저 공진기 내부에 얇은 판을 브루스터 (Brewster) 각으로 두어서 편광시키고 이것을 복굴절특성을 가진 Nd:YVO$_4$ 결정과 결합시켜 복굴절 필터 기능을 하게 하는 방법이 있다. (중략)
