The Purpose of this study is to Present the tourism development Plan of Muan County in relation to the establishment of the Muau international Airport. This study criticizes the stereotypical tourism development plans carried out by numerous loyal self-governments. The highest purpose of tourism is to create an experience that cannot be had In a Person's daily life. Tourism development in Muan must be loyal to this philosophy of tourism. This study raises three key questions: What is the nature of tourism\ulcorner; For whom is tourism developed\ulcorner , Why is tourism being developed\ulcorner The answers to the three key questions are very basic ones. but are not being fulfilled in the tourism development of Korea, as fellows. Firstly, tourism development should be carried out to strengthen the special characteristics of tourism resources. Secondly, tourism development should encourage the participation of local residents within the Process, and it should be helpful to the local industry and the resident's income. lastly, the development should refrain from relying heavily on money-making businesses but seek to enrich the lives of visitors and hosts together. This study presents five distinctive tourism development schemes for Muan. They are as follows: the establishment of a scenic byway leading to the Airport: the development of Hoeshan lotus reservoir as a tourist resort for Buddhists and as a traditional health care center: the utilization of the .Japanese military airport relics as an historical and cultural tourist attraction: the establishment of a salt-water spa complex: and the vitalization of agricultural tourism by utilizing the advantage of the Muan international Airport.

Rural tourism is considered one of the main components of travel today. This may explain the emerging interest in tourist behavior at rural sites. Nevertheless, it can be argued that research on tourists' motivation as well as segmentation for visiting rural sites is still in its infancy. The purpose of this study has three main objectives: (1)to adjust the motivations of rural tourism to the general motivations for all travelers and find the core factors for rural tourists. (2)to show the segmentation of korean rural tourists, and (3)to suggest the characteristics of rural tourists' typology. This paper was conducted through two studies: a literature review and a survey for empirical exploration of the ideas. The empirical data are extracted through convenience, and the valid questionnaires totaled to 828. The Frequency, Descriptive, Factor, Cluster, Discriminant, Cross-tabulation analysis were used for the data analysis. The results of analysis indicate that the rural tourists' motivation is consisted of 14 factors. the key elements play a major role in rural tourism. and the rural tourists' market was divided into 5 different groups. The results of this study will not only contributes to a better understanding of rural tourism due to clarification of tourist motivations but also have implication for the development and management of rural sites.

21세기 지식기반사회에 더불어 문화예술의 중요성 한층 부각됨에 따라 해안경관이 수려한 등대를 이용 등대해양문화공간 운영 활성화을 위하여 국제항로표지협회(IALA) 등대 보존 매뉴얼과 외국 등대 관광 발전 계획을 비교 연구하여, 등대의 해양문화공간의 역할 기능적 분석 및 문화 관광적 유형 분석을 통하여 우리나라 실정에 맞는 등대해양문화공간 운영 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

With the ever-changing medical tourist environment, the study has delved into issues ranging from judged value on medical tourist service quality and its effect on the service level and recurring rate of return visit through the quantitative analysis with the survey for a group of tourists from Japan, China, USA and the interview survey on medical specialist on tourists. Verifying the Hypothesis 1 reveals the assertion that quality of medical service for tourists has effected upon the functional value has proven to be true except the cases on responsiveness and accessibility. And the assumption that the quality of medical service for tourists has effected upon the emotional value has proven to be true except the case on accessibility. The paper has its limitation in that it is confined to medical tourists of small numbers of target countries, relatively short survey period. The study shall be followed by the further analysis on the factors for medical tourists' personal and societal effect

아시아-태평양 지역에서의 큰 수요로 1990년대 들어서 종합(global) 관광이 증가하게 되었다. 장거리 여행 또한 보통보다 빠른 속도로 증가하고 있다. 이벤트(행사) 관광은 관광산업계의 격렬한 경쟁에서 아주 강력한 방법으로 등장하였다. 이벤트관광의 경제적 혜택으로서, 대규모의 이벤트는 주체국에서의 관광 지출을 절반정도까지 절감할 수 있으며, 같은 정도로 수입을 증가 시킬 수 있으며, 궁극적으로는 관광객의 지출(expenditure)을 야기시킬 수 있다 (Vantove & Witt, 1987). 이러한 관점에서, '99 하남 환경박람회와 같은 국제적 이벤트가 199년 이후 지방정부의 주최로 한국에서 매년 개최되고 있다. 이벤트의 주요역할은 지역사회의 이미지를 향상시키고, 관광객을 불러들이는 것이며(Holler 등, 1993), 끌어당기는 힘으로써 주최지의 매력을 강조시키는 것이다 (Mill & Morrison, 1985). 한국에서의 이벤트산업은 주최지의 이미지를 흐리게 할 수도 있는 사고에 대한 안전관리의 중요성을 별로 심각하게 인식하고 있는 것 같지가 않다. 조사분석의 결과는 안전시설과 응급시설에 더 만족할수록 재방문의사가 더 크다는 것을 나타내었다. 비록 덜 교육받은 그룹과 학부졸업이상의 그룹 모두 중립보다는 낮지만, 덜 교육받은 방문객은 안전에 더욱 만족한다는 것도 발견되었다. 안전시설의 요소는 재방문의사에 가장 강력한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

남해안의 해양관광벨트 조성사업은 양 지역의 세계화와 지방화의 기틀을 동시에 마련할 수 있다는 측면에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 남해안의 관광유람선사업은 연안 해양지향적 국토개발정책 비중이 증대되는 과정에서 중앙정부도 남해안국제관광벨트 조성사업계획을 금년말까지 수립할 계획이며, 민선자치시대를 맞아 지역의 자립의식 및 지역간 경쟁분위기가 고조되면서 지역의 비교우위성 자원을 활용한 지역발전전략을 추진하는 분위기가 성숙되는 등, 국가 지역적인 여건과 합치하고 있으며, 그 위에 남해안의 관광유람선사업은 동서협력 차원에서도 유익한 사업으로 기대된다. 실질적인 동서화합은 상호 인 물적 교류를 통해 과실을 함께 얻을 수 있는 기반이 마련될 때 이루어진다는 측면에서 관광유람선사업은 동서협력의 대표사업이다. 관광유람선이 운항되면 양지역주민들의 상호 방문이나 자치단체간 상호 친선방문 등이 이루어짐으로써 인적 교류가 활성화되는 계기가 될 것이며, 관광유람선이 운항되면 남해안에 풍부하게 부존되어 있는 수산자원과 특산물 등 물적자원의 교류가 이루어짐으로써 남해안지역의 수산물과 특산물 관련산업 진흥에 기여할 것이며, 관광유람선 운항을 위해서는 사전 준비단계에서부터 운항에 이르기까지의 과정에서 부산, 경남, 전남 등 자치단체의 협력이 전제되어야 하는데, 이러한 협력체제가 동서협력으로 성숙될 가능성이 높고, 또한 관광유람선의 운항범역이 단계적으로 중국, 일본에까지 확대되면 남해안지역의 세계화에도 기여할 것이다.

세계적으로 관광시장 규모가 확대되면서 세계 경제에서 관광이 차지하는 위상 또한 높아지고 있다. 서울 관광 역시 단기간에 양적 성장을 이루었고, 외래 관광객 유치 규모 세계 7위이자 국제회의 개최 규모로는 3년 연속 세계 3위를 달성했다. 하지만 이러한 서울의 관광 산업 성장세에 비해 서울을 방문하는 외국인 관광객을 대상으로 한 모바일 애플리케이션은 한정적이며, 그마저도 사용률이 저조한 실정이다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해소하기 위해 외국인을 대상으로 다양한 편의 기능을 포함한 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발하고 그 과정과 결과에 관해 서술하고 있다. 본 논문에서 서술하고 있는 모바일 애플리케이션에서는 카테고리별로 관광지, 식당, 숙박, 쇼핑 등의 정보를 제공하며 그 외에도 행사, 환율 정보와 번역, 지도, 길 찾기 기능을 제공하는 등 다양한 정보와 기능들을 하나의 애플리케이션에서 쾌적하게 이용할 수 있도록 통합 구현하였다.

This study is for analyzing the mgmt performances of Korean tourism firms, operating as preparing strategically against FTA, one of the most importantly external environment in int'l mgmt since in the mid of 1990s. The main purpose can be mentioned to test empirically some relations between the mgmt performances of Korean tourism ones and the economic effects originated from FTA. The dependent variables of mgmt performances are classified with sales, profits and mgmt satisfaction, while the independent one regarding with economic effects from FTA are sorted based on the previous studies with the 2 following factors like direct with inbound/outbound and indirect effects. This study is conducted in two stages. Firstly, the research model is designed by the reviewing relevant theories and previous studies. Secondly, the survey of Korean tourism firms engaging in mgmt activities is implemented by collecting questionnaires. And for testing the hypothesis, the analyzing tools are used for correlation, reliability, validity and multi-regression on SPSS 12.0 and the path analysis of structural equation modeling is activated with AMOS 11.0.
