수입의류와 국산의류의 불만족에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study of Dissatisfaction towards Imported and Domestic Clothing)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the differences between married women's dissatisfaction towards imported and domestic clothing and to test the role of socioeconomic variables on dissatisfaction. Two-piece formal suit was selected as the item, and country of origin of imported suit was not controlled. Sample selection criteria included married women living in Seoul, Korea, between ages 30-59. The data were analysed using factor analysis, paired t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results indicate, in the Korean clothing market, both international and Korean marketers should be prudent with their price policies and should implement differentiated marketing strategy based on their target market's demogrophic profile. Higher dissatisfaction towards domestic clothing in terms of most factors, under the rapidly globalizing market environment suggests the Korean marketers will be forced to face full-scale harsh competition from international marketers.

기혼여성의 수입 정장의류와 국산 정장의류의 구매동기 연구 (Buying Motivations for Imported and Domestic formal Suits among Married Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify differences that married exist between married women´s buying motivations for imported and domestic formal two piece suits and to test the role of socioeconomic variables on those differences. Sample selection criteria included married women lit in8 in ,seoul. Korea, between ages 30∼59. Purposive sampling method was used to secure respondents It with experience with imported formal two-piece suits. Of 400 distributed. 246 usable questionnaires were returned. Statistical analysis of results included factor analysis, and paired t-tests. For both imported and domestic suits, the most important buying motivation was utilitarian, with qualify the most important consideration. Purchases of domestic suits were more influenced by factors such as advertisements, economics, impulse buying, approval of others, and current fashionability of style than were the purchases of imported suits. On the other hand, purchases of imported suits u·ere more influenced by factors such as prestige and utilitarian motivation than were purchases of domestic suits. For most socioeconomic variables, respondents indicated significant differences in their motivations for buying imported suits and domestic suits. The results of this study suggest the need for implementing different marketing strategies for imported suits and domestic suits.

태국산 닥지로 제작한 줌치한지의 강도 특성 (The Strength Properties of Jumchi-Hanji Made from Thai Mulberry Paper)

  • In recent years, Jumchi-Hanji made of mulberry paper is used as a material for fashion items. This study examined the effect of the type of Choji method (Oebal-teugi or Ssangbal-teugi), layer number (one or two layers) and Jumchichigi time (20, 40, or 60 minutes) on the tensile, wet tensile, tearing and bursting strengths of Jumchi-Hanji. Jumchi-Hanjis used as test samples in this study were made from mulbery paper which was manufactured with either bleached or unbleached paper mulberry from Thailand. The results showed that Jumchi-Hanji made with two layers of mulberry papers had higher strength properties than Jumchi-Hanji made with only one layer. The strength properties of Jumchi-Hanji also increased with longer Jumchichigi time. Furthermore, this study confirmed that the effects of Jumchichigi time on Jumchi-Hanji strengths differed based on the type of Choji method, the layer number of mulberry papers used, and the specific strength property measured. Therefore, to guarantee the strength properties required by the application of Jumchi-Hanji paper as a fashion material, it is necessary to carefully consider the adequate Choji method and layer number to apply in the manufacture of Thai mulberry paper and the adequate duration time needed to perform Jumchichigi to Thai mulbery paper.

국내산과 태국산 닥섬유 및 목재펄프가 혼합된 줌치한지의 감물염색에 따른 강도 특성 (Effect of Persimmon Juice Dyeing on Strength Properties of Jumchi-Hanjis Mixed with Korean and Thai Mulberry Fibers and Wood Pulp)

  • This study compares the strength properties of Jumchi-Hanjis dyed with 70% and 100% persimmon juice concentrations and undyed Jumchi-Hanjis. The Juumchi-Hanjis were made from Dakjis (mulberry papers), which were mixed with different ratios of fibers from paper mulberries originating in Korea and Thailand, including wood pulp from Canada. Research results showed that tensile, wet tensile, and bursting strengths of Jumchi-Hanjis dyed with 70% concentration were higher than those of undyed Jumchi-Hanjis. However, the tearing strengths of the dyed Jumchi-Hanjis were lower than those of undyed Jumchi-Hanjis. The wet tensile strengths of Jumchi-Hanjis dyed with 100% concentration were higher than those of dyed with 70% concentration. The increase and decrease of tensile, tearing, and bursting strengths depending on persimmon juice dyeing differed as per the mixing ratio of the raw materials of Jumchi-Hanjis. Dyeing with 100% persimmon juice concentration tends to be more useful than 70% to increase the tensile (MD) and wet tensile strengths of Jumchi-Hanjis containing only Korean mulberry fibers (90%) and wood pulp (10%) as raw materials. Dyeing with 100% concentration tends to be less useful than 70% to increase the tensile, tearing and bursting strengths of Jumchi-Hanjis with high proportions (90% or 60%) of mulberry fibers from Thailand.

소비자의 세탁습관에 따른 세탁효율 평가 -국산세탁기의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 세탁 실태조사 및 실험연구(II)- (Evaluation of Washing Efficiency based on Consumer's Washing Behavior Integral Approach for Improving Washing Machines (II)-)

  • According to consumer's washing behavior, the washing efficiency of three different types of washing machines-pulsator, agitator, and drum was studied. Their detergency, rinsing efficiency, and the degree of fabric damage, tangle, and wrinkle were evaluated. The results showed that efficient washing capacity was different from the specified capacity of washing machine. Detergency and rinsing efficiency frere apparently decreased when more than 50% of capacity was loaded in washing machine of pulsator type, and 80% for agitator or drum types. They were also affected by detergent adding methods, and decreased in the order of water-detergent-washing load> washing load-detergent-water> washing load-water-detergent. Rinsing efficiency was significantly improved when the rinsing temperature was set above washing temperature. In addition, it was revealed that detergency, fabric damage, wrinkle, and tangle were highly correlated. The relationships between detergency and tangle were different for different types of washing machine. Positive relationships were found for agitator and drum types, whereas negative for pulsator type.

수입의류와 국산의류에 대한 소비자의식 연구 - 서울지역 대학생을 중심으로 - (A Study of Consumer's Consciousness on Imported Apparel and Domestic Apparel - Centering around College Students of Seoul area -)

  • In light of the problem of imported apparel that tends to increase rapidly this study was intended to inquire into the assessment of male and female college students about the brands of imported apparel relative to dom-estic apparel based on quality perception price pirceptionand social psychological perception. And it is concerned with making a compara-tive study of the difference in consumer's con-sciousness of clothing between subjects by dividing them into the group of preference for imported apparel the group of non-preference for it on the basis of their ratings. As a consequence the following study results were obtained. 1) As a result of comparing college students' ratings for quality perception price perception and social psychological perception of impor-ted apparel all three factors were shown to have the high average value in care of the group of preference for imported apparel and to have a significant difference between groups. 2) As a consequence of making a compara-tive study of the difference in the clothing at-titude between groups the group of prefer-ence for imported apparel showed the high av-erage value about brand preference and identi-fication clothing involvement and interper-sonal perception through clothing and to hjave a significant difference with the group of pref-erence for imported apparel in terms of the peripheral environment and the place of pur-chase. 3) As a result of making a comparison of the difference in demographic factors between groups it was analyzed that female clollege students especially college women in the departments of art and physical education had the higher preference for imported apparel. And it was shown that they had the higher preference for imported apparel the greater amount of pocket money they had. Broader and deeper studies are required to be made about imported apparel in a multifaceted way. Therefore follow-on studies will have to be actively conducted such as a study of con-sumer's evaluation about imported apparel and domestic apparel charged at th same range of prices and a study of the difference on con-sumer's consciousness of imported apparel found over age span of consumers.

국산 세탁기의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 세탁 실태조사 및 실험 연구(I) -설문지와 일기법 조사- (Integrative Approach for Improving Washing Machines (I) - Survey and Diary Method -)

  • The main purpose of this research was to examine the purchase and use behavior of consumers related to washing machines in order to develope strategies to increase competitiveness of washing machines manufactured in Korea. Purchase and use behavior related to washing machines were examined by survey method and detailed information on washing conditions and usage of washing machines were obtained by diary method. 398 questionnaires were analyzed in the survey and 35 housewives participated in keeping the records of their washings for 30 days. The results of the survey showed that price and a tangle of clothes were the most determinant factors for purchase of washing machines and the knowledge related to washing was relatively low The diary method revealed that washing loads and frequencies of washing increase with the household size, and functions of washing machines except water level are infrequently used. Comparisons between the survey and diary results indicated that consistency between the two methods depends on the types of questions.

한국 성인 남성의 의료용 압박스타킹 치수 규격 개발 (Development of Sizing System for Medical Compression Stocking of Korean Men)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the sizing system of medical compression stockings for Korean adult men in order to develop compression stockings with excellent dimensional fit reflecting the real human body data. Analyses were conducted on the raw data that the subjects consist of 19~60 aged men of Size Korea 2010 in this study. The stature and weight for the pantyhose stockings, and the ankle circumference and calf circumference for the thighs, knees, and calf support types of stockings were selected as the basic dimension items. The size interval of the pantyhose stockings were 2cm in stature and 2kg in weight. In addition, the thigh, knee, and calf support types of stockings were set with ankle circumference and calf circumference set at 1cm intervals. The designation is the same as KS pantyhose standard, S, M, L, XL. As a result, in the case of pantyhose compression stockings for men, the coverage ratio showed 97.2% in total, with 46.3% for M, 36.5% for L, 7.4% for S, and 6.9% for XL. In the case of thigh type, knee type and calf support types, the percentage of coverage was 99.96% in total, with 57.6% in M, 31.1% in L, 4.7% in S, and 1.6% in XL. The results of this study would help to improve the dimensional conformity of the medical compression stockings for Korean adult men.

피혁폐기물을 활용한 친환경 고기능성 아웃솔 소재의 국산화 개발방안 (Localization development of environmentally-friendly high-functional outsole material using leather scrap)

  • To solve environmental problems, research and efforts are required to reduce leather waste that is generated in large quantities during the leather manufacturing process. Leatherboard is a plate-like material that is made by crushing leather waste, such as trimming or shaving scraps and mixing fibers, pulp, rubber, and adhesives. The aim of this study is to provide basic data on the localization of leatherboard manufacturing technology for outsoles, which are increasingly in demand due to their excellent performance and price competitiveness. Interviews with experts and related organizations were conducted to investigate the related global technology trends. Also, the performance of three products that can be used as reference materials were evaluated and compared. As part of the research and efforts to reduce the amount of leather waste generated, high-performance materials using leather waste were developed and commercialized by major western companies. In Korea, various efforts have been made since 2000, and some companies have produced leatherboard for interior uses. However, the amount of waste recycled relative to that generated is not large due to the limited demand. Natural leather soles perform better than leatherboard soles in all evaluation aspects. In the case of leatherboard, performance varied by manufacturer. German products showed flexibility resistance and dimensional stability, thereby meeting performance requirements. However, abrasion resistance and cleavage resistance were slightly below the required performance standards, and research and development is needed to improve performance in those areas. Currently, it is impossible to evaluate the performance of domestic products due to underdevelopment. However, if the development of process technology continues based on the performance evaluation results of the best leatherboard in the shoe industry, materials for outsoles will be able to be produced domestically with prices competitiveness while realizing natural leather materials performance to some extent.

레이저 절단공정에서 절단부재의 최적배치를 위한 네스팅 알고리즘 (Nesting Algorithm for Optimal Layout of Cutting parts in Laser Cutting Process)

  • 레이저 가공기술은 재료가공 분야에서 넓은 응용분야를 가지고 있으며, 특히 절단, 용접, 열처리 등의 가공분야에서 고정밀도와 자동화의 용이성으로 인해 생산성이 높은, 고부가가치의 첨단응용 기술로 부각되고 있다. 특히 레이저절단은 타 절단법에 비교되는 절단정도, 열영향, 생산성, 작업 환경등의 각종 우위성으로 박판 및 후판절단분야에서 급속한 보급을 보이기 시작하였다. 현재 대 부분의 레이저 가공기는 CNC화 되어가고 있는 추세이며, 레이저 절단의 경우 생산성증대 및 고 정밀화를 위하여 CAD/CAM인터페이스에 의한 자동화가 필연적인 상황이다. 뿐만아니라 고출력 레이저 발전기를 가공 기본체에 탑재한 탑재형 레이저가공기의 출현으로 대형부재의 절단이 가능 하게 되었으며, 더불어 절단공정의 무인화를 지향하는 각종 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 이와 같은 무인화, 생산성증대, 작업시간단축과 러닝 코스트 및 재료의 절감을 위한 노력의 일환으로 컴 퓨터에 의한 자동 및 반자동 네스팅 시스템의 개발을 들 수 있다. 레이저에 의한 2차원 절단응 용분야에서의 네스팅작업은 설계가 끝난 각 부품의 절단작업의 전단계로서 수행되며, 일반적으로 네스팅공정이 완료되면 절단경로를 결정하고 가공조건과 함께 수치제어공작기계의 제어에 필요한 NC코드를 생성하게 된다. 최근에는 이와 같은 네스팅 시스템이 일부 생산현장에 적용되고 있 으나 이러한 시스템들의 대부분이 외국에서 개발된 것을 수입하여 사용하는 실정이다. 2차원 패턴의 최적자동배치문제는 비단 레이저 절단과 같은 열가공 분야에서 뿐만 아니라 블랭킹 금형, 의류, 유리, 목재등 여러분야에서 응용이 가능하며 패키지의 국산화가 시급한 실정이다. 네스 팅작업은 적용되는 분야에 따라 요구사항과 구속조건이 달라지며 이로 인해 알고리즘과 자료구 조도 달라지게 되나 공통적인 목표는 주어진 영역안에서 겹침없이 배치하면서 버림율을 최소화 하는 것이다. 지난 10여년간 여러 산업의 응용분야에서는 네스팅시스템의 도입이 활발하게 이 루어지고 있는데 수동에 반자동 및 자동에 이르기까지 다양하나 자동네스팅시스템의 경우 배치 효율의 신뢰성이 비교적 부족하기 때문에 아직까지는 생산현장에서 기피하는 실정이다. 배치알 고리즘의 관점에서 볼 때 이러한 문제들은 NP-complete문제로 분류하며 제한된 시간안에 최적의 해를 구하기가 가능한 조합 최적화 문제로 알려져 있다. 따라서 이 글에서는 레이저 절단분야 에서의 네스팅시스템에 관한 개요와 최근의 연구동향 그리고 몇 가지 전형적인 네스팅 알고리 즘들을 소개하고 비교분석을 통해 개선점을 간략하게 논의하고자 한다.
