  • This paper illustrates and analyzes system structure, link budget and cell coverage to accommodate Korea environment about LMDS systems that are expected to play an important role as the future wireless infrastructure of the information superhighway. In the mean time, many parameters used for the analysis apply to the allocated frequency bandwidth (Up-stream : 24.25GHz-24.75GHz, Down-stream : 25.5GHz-27.5GHz) of Ministry of Information and Communication. The modem and channel coding must be developed to accommodate specifications of DAVIC protocol. The materials about atmospheric phenomena refer to apply specifications of ITU-R. This paper will be need to disign the network structure and system configuration of LMDS system.

  • The management of existing airfield pavement information has currently become difficult and the maintenance cost has increased over time due to the long-term performance. It is needed to develop the method for effective budget allocation and systematic airfield pavement management services. The objectives of this paper are to introduce Micro PAVER, one of the popular pavement management systems, into our management system and customize Micro PAVER based on our environment and pavement management level. This study focused on the analysis on logics and structures of Micro PAVER and customization of important parts in the program using the existing pavement evaluation data and survey method. Customized items selected in this study included the pavement deterioration prediction models, critical PCI, maintenance cost by PCI, maintenance or rehabilitation method and unit cost, and PCI rank.

A Study on A VITD Creation Method using Domestic Thematic Maps : Focusing on Military Topographic Analysis Maps (국내 주제도를 이용한 VITD 생성방안연구 : 군 지형분석지도를 중심으로)

  • There were a lot of attempts in the army to use various domestic thematic maps, but attribute data types of military topographic analysis maps use the FACC of DIGEST, so there is a limit in employing domestic thematic maps with different types of attribute codes. Therefore, this study analyzed the FACC as a data attribute based on the MIL-PRF-89040 of the US Army. Then, VITD was created by changing the attribute codes of domestic thematic maps produced in Korea to fit the FACC. Lastly, it was applied to the analysis of cross-country movement for maneuver defined in FM 5-33 in order to verify if it is applicable in practice. As a result, it was found that the suggested method was helpful in securing the cross-country movement for maneuver. This means that this method can be used not only in producing military topographic analysis maps using domestic thematic maps but in constructing emergency transport routes roads to transport by-products of forest in future.

  • This paper is to verify that 2-state MMPP Model conform to ATM VBR traffic characteristics by measuring and analyzing real-time VBR traffic in KT's ATM network. As a result, we validated the fact that real-time VBR traffic of ATM network cannot be apply to MMPP model and must be represented by previously general On-Off Model with characteristics as follows: arrival rate of On state (λ$_1$) is deterministic, arrival rate of Off state (λ$_2$) is zero, and two transition rate (T$_1$,T$_2$) is only random variable. As research results are to handle real traffic, these results can be used to all ATM network traffic model with traffic management function such as KT's ATM network.

  • 국가 수자원 관리에 가장 기초가 되는 수문조사는 측정과 자료 분석을 위해 행해지는 모든 과정에서 자료의 정확성과 신뢰성이 담보되어야 한다. 현재 수문조사는 국토교통부를 비롯하여 환경부, 수자원공사 등 다양한 부처와 기관에서 수행하고 있으며, 수문조사 방법 및 기준표준화 연구(2009), 수문조사 관련 법정 행정규칙 마련, 수자원 조사법 제정, 수문자료 공인 및 저장, 배포, 활용, 기준고시 등을 통해 수문조사 발전 및 표준화를 위한 노력을 해오고 있다. 하지만 국가차원의 표준화(기준과 매뉴얼)가 아직 미진하여 기관별 생산 자료의 품질차이가 발생하고 있다. 국내의 현장여건은 식생, 공사, 모래하상 등으로 과거와 다르게 점차 다양화 되고 있으며, 국외와 차별화 된 국내 하천만의 특성으로 반영되고 있다. 또한 최근 ADCP와 같은 첨단장비 활용이 증대되는 추세인데 비해 첨단장비 관련 기준은 아직 미비한 부분이 많다. 국내 측정환경이 고려된 수문조사 표준화를 위해서는 USGS와 같은 선진국의 국제기준 검토와 함께 각 하천 환경에 맞는 유량측정 방법 및 기술을 개발하고, 다양한 현장 특성이 반영된 측정방법의 적용과, 자료 분석을 통한 기준제시가 필요하다. 첨단 장비 및 관련 기술을 활용한 수문조사 선진화를 위해서는 정확한 첨단장비 활용에 대한 표준이 필요하다. 즉 수문조사 전반에 대한 표준화와 이를 통한 공유와 활용이 이루어져야 한다. 한국수자원조사기술원(구 유량조사사업단)에서는 2007년부터 수문조사를 수행하면서 국내 하천유량조사 경험과 기술 노하우를 바탕으로 수문조사 분야별 측정방법, 장비, 레이팅, 자료 분석 등에 대한 수문조사매뉴얼과 가이드라인을 발간하여 실무에 적용, 활용하고 있다. 이러한 노력은 국내 수문조사 표준화를 정착, 발전시키고 국제 표준화에 기여할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 생각된다.

  • Against Anomaly of GPS, there are several projects of independent satellite navigation systems like Galileo of Europe and QZSS of Japan and modernization of terrestrial navigation system like Loran. In domestic, the need of independent navigation system was proposed and DGPS signal was nominated as the possible substitute. The DGPS signal uses medium frequency, which travels through the surface and cause the additional delay rather than the speed of light according to Conductivities and elevations of the irregular terrain. The similar approach is Locan-C. Loran-C has been widely used as the maritime location system. Loran-C uses the ASF estimation method and provides more precise positioning. However there was rarely research on this area in Korea Therefore, we introduce the legacy guaranteed model of additional delay(ASF) and present the results of implementation. With the comparison of the original Monteath results and BALOR results respectively, we guarantee that the implementation is absolutely perfect. For further works, we're going to apply the ASF estimation model to Korean DGPS system with the Korean terrain data.

A Study on the Optimization of UX Design Process and Methodology for small and medium sized manufacturing companies (국내 중소 제조기업 실무 적용을 위한 UX 디자인 프로세스 및 방법론 최적화 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to establish the UX methodology knowledge optimized for small sized companies on the basis of theoretical and practical UX development process models. The 7 UX design process models were analyzed by the outcomes and attributes on each design stage from academic field. Then the interview and observation on 18 domestic companies were conducted to clarify the actual methods in use and the gab from the academic theories. The two different design model were unified as an product lifecycle coupled UX process (PLUS). The 100 theory-industry knowedge combined UX design methodologies were selected and aligned along with 6 design stages of PLUS process. Each method was decomposed as a template format that contains standardized attributes applicable for small companies under consideration of their resources, process and produced items. The result of this research is expected to be applied onto real industry and reduce the risk of small manufacturing companies to escalate the quality of UX in their productions.

  • 타워팰리스 3차 현장은 국내에서 현존하는 건축물로서 가장 높은 63빌딩보다 약 30m 정도 더 높은 초고층 주상 복합건물이다. 초고층 건축현장에는 일반현장과는 다른 시공기술과 기법이 적용되는 바, 당 현장에는 기존의 타워팰리스 1차와 2차에 적용되었던 초고층 시공기술을 기반으로 좀 더 발전된 시공기술과 공정관리기법을 적용하여 선진국에 버금가는 속도로 공사가 추진되고 있다. 당 현장에 적용된 여러 시공기술 중에서 콘크리트와 관련된 주요 기술은 1) Mat 기초에 적용된 무다짐(또는 고유동화)콘크리트, 2) Mat 기초에 적용된 Closed Pipe Cooling System, 3) Core ACS Form에 적용된 고강도 콘크리트, 4) 기둥에 적용한 800 kg/$m^2$ 초고강도 콘크리트, 5) 스포츠동 기둥에 적용될 CFT용 고유동화 콘크리트, 6) 주차램프 바닥의 조면처리용 섬유보강콘크리트 등이다.

  • The objective of this study was to estimate the roadkill occurrence of water deer (Hydropotes inermis), a representative roadkill species in South Korea. For this estimation, I analyzed national road statistics and roadkill statistics, and then reviewed case studies that estimated the number of deer roadkill in other countries to apply the estimating methods to our case. As a result, the estimated number of water deer vehicle collision was at least 60,000 per year in South Korea.

  • This paper reviews cases of leadership training program of United States of America University. Also it proposes guideline of coaching program for domestic Christian students. In according to the needs of industry, it enforces a various case analysis in center of purpose and contents of leadership training and propose coaching program case in the Korean 'B'University(IT major). This paper analysis the detailed elements, which is not reflected in Korean leadership training. The proposed paper has a view in an index of main application for elements analysis of leadership training in industry and Korean university.
