The Effects of Sensation Information on Perceived Quality and Purchase Intention in Online Shopping Mall: Focus on The Smell Information and The Taste Information (온라인 쇼핑몰의 감각정보 제시가 지각된 품질 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 후각정보와 미각정보를 중심으로)

  • The importance and meaning of smell/taste information on online shopping are studied. The first hypothesis deals with this issue directly. We measure the perceived quality and purchase intention at the context of online shopping with/without smell and taste information. As expected, subjects show higher perceived quality/stronger purchase intention of a bar soap and vitamin C product when smell and taste information are provided. Following Peck and Childers(2003), the moderating effects of Need for Smell and Need for Taste are tested at the second hypothesis. Subjects with High in Need for Smell/Touch show stronger responses in terms of perceived quality and purchase intention. The level of trust about the online shopping mall provides interesting results. When the trust level of the online shopping mall is low, the smell/taste information play more important roles in improving the perceived quality and purchase intention. Subjects at the not-so-trusted shopping mall context result in higher perceived quality and purchase intention if perceptual information is provided. One of the theoretical contributions of this study includes the identification of critical information in online purchase decision making-smell and taste. On top of vision and hearing information, smell and taste information also can play critical roles when consumers do online shopping even at the shopping malls of low trust. In addition, managerial implications are provided.

Effects of Mobile Shopping Tendencies and Information Search on the Shopping Mall Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention: Focusing on Fashion Clothing (모바일 쇼핑성향과 정보탐색이 쇼핑몰의 만족도와 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향: 패션의류를 중심으로)

  • The objective of this study is to verify the effects of shopping tendencies and information search on the shopping mall satisfaction and repurchase intention of fashion clothing consumers at this point in time when the mobile shopping has been routinized. To verify this, this study selected male and female university students with experiences in purchasing fashion clothing in mobile shopping mall within the last one year as its samples. For the verification of hypotheses, the factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and simple regression analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows. First, the shopping tendencies of consumers who had experiences in mobile shopping included the economic shopping tendency, entertaining shopping tendency, convenient shopping tendency, and trend-pursuit shopping tendency. Second, the convenient shopping tendency, entertaining shopping tendency, and economic shopping tendency of consumers' mobile shopping tendencies had positive effects on the mobile shopping mall satisfaction and repurchase intention. Third, the information search for purchasing fashion clothing in mobile shopping mall had positive effects on the shopping mall satisfaction and repurchase intention.

  • 실세계에서의 상거래가 전자상거래로 전환되는 과정에서 점원의 역할이 많이 감소되고 있다. 점원의 역할 중 상품에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것은 HTML페이지에서 제공해 주고 있다. 그러나, 소비자의 성향을 파악하여 관련 상품을 추천해주는 일은 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 에이전트를 이용하여 소비자들의 구매성향을 파악하고 이를 이용하여 관련 상품을 추천해주는 방법에 대해 기술하고 있다. 이를 위하여 분석에이전트와 추천에이전트를 사용하였으며 데이터마이닝 기법을 사용하였다.

A Study on the Shoplifting Behavior and Its Influencing Factors in the Retail Shop (소매점내 상점절도 행위와 그 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently as the economic circumstances have been getting worse, livelihood crimes like shoplifting have occurred considerably frequently. Shoplifting is the stealing behavior occurred in the retail shop such as department store, discount store, supermarket. Though there is economic and social risk of shoplifting, academic research of shoplifting has implemented scarcely. This study analyzes the shoplifting behavior in the retail store and its influencing factors, and aims to provide background of academic research of this field. So this study will give practical implication to reduce or prevent shoplifting behavior. As a result of this study, friend relationship and compulsive buying disposition influence the attitude of shoplifting behavior. But economic motive, stimulus pursuit disposition, and experience motive do not influence the attitude of shoplifting behavior. Finally to reduce or prevent shoplifting behavior, this study suggests the implications of this study and further research agenda.

Consumption behaviors of sugar-sweetened beverages and blood lipid profiles according to food-related lifestyles of adults in Incheon (인천지역 성인의 식생활 라이프스타일에 따른 가당음료 소비실태와 혈중지질)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumption behaviors of sugar-sweetened beverages and blood lipid profiles according to food-related lifestyles of adults in Incheon. Methods: Subjects were recruited from 19 to 64 year old adults residing in Incheon who visited for the purpose of a health examination at D hospital. A total of 110 subjects consented to participate in this study and to allow their health examination records to be used at D hospital. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and anthropometric data, and blood lipid profiles were collected from health examination records. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS 20.0 program. Results: In the factor analysis, food-related lifestyles were categorized into four factors: planned purchase seeking, taste seeking, well-being seeking, and convenience seeking. Using the K-average clustering method, food-related lifestyles of subjects were categorized into two groups: health and rationality-oriented group (HRG) and convenience purchase-oriented group (CPG). Average total scores of sugar-related nutrition knowledge in the HRG were significantly higher compared to the CPG, and average scores of consumption habits regarding sugar-containing foods in the HRG were significantly lower compared to the HRG. When subjects chose sugar-sweetened beverages, the CPG showed a significantly higher frequency of checking food labeling and considering nutrition compared to the CPG. Drinking frequency of carbonated beverages in the CPG was significantly higher compared to the HRG. Conclusion: There were significant differences in sugar-related nutrition knowledge and consumption habits of sugar-sweetened beverages between the two food-related lifestyle groups. These results could be useful for establishing guidelines for reducing consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages. In addition, it is necessary to continue sugar-related nutrition education by considering the food-related lifestyles of adults.

The Relationship between Consumption Value of Sports Products, Upward Comparison Propensity, and Post-Purchase Happiness in Adolescence

  • This paper aims to investigate the relationship between consumption value of sports products, upward consumption propensity, and post-purchase happiness among adolescents. The subjects of the study were extracted from adolescents in Chungcheong-do by convenience sampling method, and 257 people were used in the final analysis. Statistical methods were frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The research results are as follows. First, social value and exploratory value, which are sub-factors of consumption value, were shown to have a significant effect on upward consumption propensity, but functional value and self-value were found to be statistically insignificant. Second, social value, self-value, and functional value, which are sub-factors of consumption value, had a significant effect on post-purchase happiness, but exploratory value was found to be statistically insignificant. Third, the upward comparison propensity was found to have a significant effect on post-purchase happiness.

  • Qualitative consumption is a trend in the children clothing market and watching TV of childcare-entertainment reality programs are becoming popular. This study examines the watching degree of childcare-entertainment reality TV programs of parent buyer (30s) and potential buyer (20s) and we investigate their shopping orientation of children wear. We did the survey research of 200 consumers with SPSS statistical analysis including the review of internet news, paper, and books on children wear shopping orientation. The results are following: first, the longer the watching time of childcare-entertainment reality TV programs, the higher shopping orientation, such as following the fashion of child stars, and the higher the watching preferences on childcare-entertainment reality programs, the greater shopping orientation in following childcare-entertainment reality programs star when they are purchasing children's clothing. Second, potential consumers as well as parent consumers were affected by watching the childcare-entertainment reality programs. Watching childcare-entertainment reality TV programs could give the impact when they were shopping children's clothing because they wanted to follow the fashion of childcare-entertainment reality programs TV star. Accordingly, the exposure of the childcare-entertainment reality programs for children clothing is found to be positive to the both current and future consumers.

의류상품 소비자의 판매촉진 반응유형과 쇼핑성향

  • 본 연구는, 그 동안 간과되어 왔던 의류 상품의 판촉에 초점을 맞추어, 판촉의 여러 방법 별 소비자들의 반응 정도를 알아보고, 그 반응 경향이 소비자의 인구통계적 특성, 판촉에 대한 태도, 의복 쇼핑 성향, 기타 의복 구매 행동과 연관성을 가지는지를 규명함을 목적으로 한다. 수도권 거주 여성 444명을 대상으로 수집한 자료를 이용해 분석이 이루어졌다. 실증적 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 판촉의 각 방법에 대한 소비자들의 반응 정도는 가격 할인이 가장 높았고 그 다음은 디스플레이, 쿠폰, 사은품, 백화점 패션쇼, 경품의 순서로 나타났다. 가격 할인, 디스플레이, 사은품, 쿠폰, 백화점 패션쇼 등 5가지 판촉 방법에 대한 소비자 반응 정도를 기준으로 군집분석한 결과 판촉에 대한 반응 유형에 있어 차이를 보이는 5개 집단을 규명할 수 있었다. 각 집단의 인구통계적 특성들 중에서는 소비자 자신의 학력과 자녀의 연령만이 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 각 집단의 판촉 태도는 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 각 집단은 의복 쇼핑 성향 및 의복 구매 관련 정보원 이용에서 차이를 보였다. 결론에서는, 실증적 연구의 결과 판촉에 대한 소비자 반응 유형별로 인구통계적 특성, 판촉 태도, 의복 쇼핑 성향, 기타 의복 구매 행동에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었으므로 의류 상품의 판촉 전략 수립시 표적 집단의 특성에 따라 판촉 방법 선택이나 판촉 정보 전달 경로 등을 조절하는 것이 필요함을 제언하였다. 예를 들어, 신중/경제적 쇼핑 성향을 가지며 판촉에 대한 태도가 호의적인 소비자들에 대해서는 다양한 정보 전달 경로를 통해 가격 할인이나 쿠폰을 제공하는 것이 좋은 판촉 방법이 될 것이며, 쾌락/유행 지향적이고 상표/품질을 중시하는 소비자들에 대해서는 잡지, 인적 정보, 카탈로그 등을 정보 전달 경로로 하여 디스플레이나 패션쇼를 통해 판매 촉진을 할 수 있을 것이다.0.10 $h^{-1}$과 0.09$h^{-1}$h-1이었고, 반감기는 각각 6.93 및 7.70시간으로 측정되었다. 각각의 농도에서 12시간 및 8시간 이후에는 g당 0.19$\mu\textrm{g}$ 및 0.18$\mu\textrm{g}$이하로 떨어짐을 알 수 있었다. Phosphamidon과 profenofos의 급성어독성은 profenofos가 높았고, BCF profenofos가 phosphamidon보다 약 100배 정도 높게 나타났으며, 배설속도는 phosphamidon이 profenofos보다 약 2배 정도 빨랐다.

Understanding Product Satisfaction in the Context of Online Trading (온라인 거래 환경에서의 상품 만족에 관한 이해)

  • Recently, online environment is actively used so it will be needed to identify the factors influencing satisfaction for continuous success. In this paper, we explain the users' satisfaction of online purchasing IT and verify them through the empirical analysis. We select basic variables from TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and add specific variables from former research about user's trait. We chose satisfaction, perceived easiness, perceived usefulness, regret and maximizing tendency. Data collected from 150 user who had prior experiences with online purchasing IT were empirically tested against the research model using partial least square (PLS). The results show that perceived easiness, perceived usefulness and regret are significantly related to satisfaction and maximizing tendency has positive impact on perceived easiness, perceived usefulness and regret significantly.
