The purpose of this study is to develop and applicate textbook relevant to school indoor air quality. To achieve the purpose, concrete study process are as follows. First, the survey research to teachers, supervisors, and students is conducted to grasp cognition of subjects in elementary school and management situation about school indoor air quality. Second, contents relevant to indoor air quality on textbooks in the 7th elementary curriculum and subsidiary textbooks is analysed through reference study. Third, environmental textbook relevant to school indoor air quality for 5th and 6th grade in elementary school is developed, applicated, and inspected its effect on the basis of implications from results of survey and reference study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the result of survey concerning school indoor air quality showed that three groups had negative attitude for its management even though they thought that it affected human's health and study by and large. Student group thought that each of students itself was a little influence to school indoor air pollution though all of three groups answered that' activities of students' was its main source. Efforts of students to improve school indoor air quality was not much, and its main reason was that they didn't know about school indoor air pollution well. Second, result of analysis into textbooks on the 7th elementary curriculum and subsidiary textbooks, contents concerning indoor air on the 7th elementary curriculum textbooks was little or nothing. And it trended to be included to subsidiary textbooks. However, education textbooks about indoor air for elementary students was insufficient still. Third, environmental textbook relevant to school indoor air quality for 5th and 6th grade in elementary school was developed. It was constructed for themes - importance, sources, effects, and management of school indoor air quality. After its application to the 6th grade students in elementary school, it was meaningful in the level of p<.05 that the result of knowledge and awareness in the pre-post test within experiment group. However, all of the results in comparison group didn't represent statistically meaningful difference. In conclusion, environmental textbook developed by necessity of education about school indoor air quality will play a role as useful tool for the 5th, 6th grade students in elementary school to understand relation of quality of health and life and school indoor air quality, to have attitude to make an effort to manage it by develop right awareness about it.

Entrepreneurship is the act of being an entrepreneur or one who undertakes innovations or introducing new things, finance and business in an effort to transform innovations into economic benefits. This result in new organizations or may be part of revitalizing mature organizations in response to a perceived opportunity. The most obvious form of entrepreneurship is that of starting new businesses, or startup company. However, in recent years, the term has been extended to include social and political forms of entrepreneurial activity. Interest in the entrepreneurship education has increased significantly in now. The 61 universities made the entrepreneurship education center in the four year university and college through the government LINC program. We need the questions about the what, who and why for entrepreneurship education. Kauffman Campus Initiative(KCI) guide us to the direction of the entrepreneurship center for the future. The considerations are as follows; what is center's managerial structure, what kind of program and activities is provided, what is factors to be interested, participated in the education, how can be sustainable entrepreneurial center?. This study provide four implicit for the centers. More broad definition of entrepreneurship for the education, diverse textbook and subjects for the entrepreneurship, coach development for the teaching, and the sustainable leadership.
The purpose of this study is to research and analyze recognition of teachers and students about operating BizCool in technical high school. These results were obtained by questioning teachers and students of high school which operated BizCool. Above of all, On the Teachers' recognition about BizCool. First, the most effective programs in BizCool are the entrepreneurial club activities, and these activites fostering an entrepreneurial mind as the primary benefits of operating BizCool. Second, to activate BizCool they want to employ staff whose responsibility is to organize BizCool because of the demand and pressure involved, and Bizcool entrepreneurial club should be connected with related enterprises. The development and spread of standard managing models is necessary. Third, Students also have to be able to learn essential knowledge about management, increasing their will to rely on themselves, and getting actual chances to conduct business. Finally, On the Students' recognition about BizCool. First, The contents and level of Bizcool, the availability of BizCool material, the fostering and learning of entrepreneurship are relatively easy and they show much interest in systematic entrepreneurial education. Second, the data show that BizCool is helpful for students to create an entrepreneurial mind and increase confidence about conducting business. Third, about school activities. Entrepreneurial club activities did not help to improve students' grades, to develop good habits or to make friends.

The aim of the study was to verify the effects of simulation-based stroke care education on the nursing performance ability and satisfaction among nursing students. The study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 64 nursing students in a nursing college participated in this study. The participants were assigned conveniently according to the academic year to either the experimental group in 2013 (n = 32) or control group in 2014 (n = 32). The experimental group received a simulation-based stroke care education, and the control group received a clinical placement with self-directed practicum. The data was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that the scores of the overall nursing performance ability (z = -3.373, p < .001) and satisfaction (z = -3.245, p = .001) in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Overall, simulation-based stroke care education is an effective teaching strategy of improving the nursing performance ability and satisfaction among nursing students.
In this paper, we did not observe only the actual condition of accounting education, but also proposed the improvements for better education in commercial high schools in Jeju. We expect that those enable the high school students to be interested in accounting. These days, crisis of the accounting education is not only caused by poor educational system, but also is caused in large part by lack of efforts for improving the accounting education. In order to improve the quality of the accounting education and enable the students to be interested in accounting, it is necessary to understand why the students feel difficult about accounting. Learning the reasons enables teachers to educate by much more personalized curriculum, so that those will provide the opportunities to enable the students to pay more attention to accounting. we analyzed the realities in educating accounting by conducting a survey for the students. We also proposed the improvements based on the results of analyzing the realities of the accounting educations. The improvements are followings. First, the accounting education should be educated through various ways. Second, curriculum fitted to the high school students level should be developed. Third, subjects related with accounting should be improved by considering efficiency.

Approximately 250 marine pollution accidents involving oil and HNS spills are reported every year in the Republic of Korea. It is necessary that a strengthen of specialization of marine pollution response personnel on marine pollution response due to a diminution of damage when a major oil and HNS spill incident occurred, as in the case of the M/V Heibei Spirit and the M/V Maritime Maisie. In regard to this, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has planned to revise the OPRC Model Training Course to strengthen expertise for oil spill incident responses. Through a comparison of curriculum with the Korea Coast Guard Academy (KCGA) program, a revised IMO Model Course and the OSRL training institute, this study recommends the following improvements for the education program of the KCGA in response to oil spills. This study suggests several options in line with this approach to revise the oil spill response education curriculum, exercise, discussions and making materials. Accreditation of the KCGA as an institute that provides an IMO Model training course developed according to the revised IMO Model Course material is proposed.

The purpose of this study is to examine implications of pre-service science teacher training by analyzing science field integration and connection between learning content presented in 'Integrated Science' for high school students based on the 2015 revised science curriculum, and in pre-service science learning materials (textbooks) of the college of education. For this study, the 2015 revised 'Integrated Science' curriculum and 11 types of pre-service science teachers' learning materials related to physics, chemistry, biological science, and earth science were selected. The results were as follows. Most of the learning content presented in the 2015 revised 'Integrated Science' curriculum had integrated two or more science fields. Also, almost all learning content presented in the 2015 revised 'Integrated Science' curriculum were included in pre-service science teachers' education content, with educational content for chemistry introduced at the highest rate. The textbooks for pre-service science teachers had the most learning contents of 'Energy and Environment' domain of 'Integrated Science' for high school students. Accordingly, these results suggest that 'integrated science materials' should be developed for proper the curriculum implementation. Also, training courses for science teachers responsible for 'Integrated Science' are required. Furthermore, a revised curriculum for the college of education and a method to link with certification examinations for secondary school teachers are needed.
Modality is the psychological attitude of the speaker, which is comprised by the sentences used in every language. Modality can be broadly categorized as perceptional modality and obligatory modality. This study summarizes the previous related literatures and theoretical branches of Korean linguistic studies. The study also proposes and classifies a modal concept on the Korean language, which is aimed at aiding Chinese people who are studying Korean. It further describes characteristics and expressions of modality in both the Chinese and Korean languages. This study aims to develop an effective teaching-learning program on the basis of the contrastive analysis between Korean language's modality, "-(으)ㄹ 수 있다," and the corresponding Chinese auxiliary verb, "能." Modality is a syntax item that reflects a speaker's subjective manner. There are many grammatical facets in Korean language books and teaching materials that are modal in nature. Further, modalities in Korean language are not only numerous but also have very rich meanings and functions. Based on the contrastive analysis, this study designs an effective teaching plan for Chinese people learning the Korean language. The designed system uses specific conversational occasions as the basis of learning, and it adapts the Korean language's modal system to classroom teaching. The system is expected to be effective during classroom teaching for demonstrating and learning modality in the Korean language.

This study examined how pre-service science teachers, who observed classes for the gifted in science, perceive the gifted in science and the education they are getting, and explored what needs to be improved in the classes for the gifted in science. Based on the results of this study, first, pre-service science teachers were negative about the giftedness of the gifted in science. Second, they recognized that various types of classes were not provided. Especially, while theoretical lectures were mostly offered, they recognized that it had a negative influence in developing the potential giftedness of the gifted in science. Third, they were negative about the absence of programs for improving creativity and thinking skills and teaching materials for the gifted in science; however, they were positive about self-directed learning. Fourth, they had a negative opinion on educational facilities and the number of students in classes. Fifth, they recognized that potential giftedness would be developed the most when the lecturer is a professor majoring in the subject. For improvements in the classes for the gifted in science, they referred to revising the distinction focusing on preceding learning, reinforcing teaching methods to improve creative thinking, constructing creative contents regardless of specific grades and curriculum, securing learning materials for the gifted, and the necessity of lecturers specialized in the education for the gifted. Eventually, pre-service science teachers have negative cognitions for the classes for the gifted in science offered by universities, and it was known that they mentioned the necessity of creative educational courses and professional lecturers, not pre-learning for improvements.
Since the 1990s, Korea has been developing various policies and materials for the improvement of basic learning abilities. In this study, the cases of policies for underachievers in Korea and the US were compared and analyzed the programs for mathematics underachievers in elementary school with Chuncheon office of education and Seattle public schools. All of them started from the point of relief of underachievers, but they differed in the process of operating them specifically. This study suggests the followings. First, active utilization of vacation programs to solve problems such as low-income meal service, prevention of stigma effects, securing teacher's instruction time, teacher-instructor cooperation. Second, the necessity of detailed activity-centered textbooks that underachievers can explore with interest in mathematics learning and easy to use by teachers. Third, specific cooperation for inducing interest of their own children's learning and forming close ties between parents and teachers. Fourth, program analysis by a professional evaluation group to improve the quality of underachiever program.
