Comparative study of the food Instrument design for the Design Preference and Creativity between Korea and Malaysia (음식도구에 있어 디자인선호와 창의성평가요소에 대한 비교 - 말레이시아와 한국을 중심으로 한 디자인 사례연구 -)

  • There are life-style and many different cultural differences between countries. Among them, food is different from other areas. Especially, if Food Tools are used by food type, even though the design factor is same, the function is different. Therefore, research and development of a Food Tool design is necessary to use a Universal Food Tool between countries. The purpose of this research is to develop a behavior analysis process for food, finding similarities and differences by food type; and cultural differences between countries; and to propose a design Food Tool design that can be used between countries. This research on methods and content is for the development of the consumer behavior analysis process about food, grafting theoretical studies about behavior analysis and working behavior analysis on the spot, to develop a food action analysis process. Second, do comparative analysis process of food order and evaluation between countries; and think about the problems and symptoms, then propose methods to resolve the problems. Third, each process is divided by category, to find the features by each category of foods between countries. Results may be obtained through research and the comparative analysis of each country's, foods, behavior and restaurant types. Specifically, researchers can use food tool design to obtain results and compare the same items between countries, compare university design education, and create new ideas through cooperation and complementary research.

A Meta-Analysis on Emotion and Mathematics Education Research (정서 관련 수학교육연구에 대한 메타연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the trends of emotion-related mathematics education research conducted in Korea so far, and compare them with those of international studies, and explore the desirable directions for future emotion-related mathematics education research. Emotion-related domestic research was collected from domestic academic journals, analyzed, and then it was used as data for international comparative study. The findings of the Eligio(2017) were used as counterpart research data. This study compares the number of publications, research subjects and research topics of domestic and international studies on emotion. Findings indicate that it has generally shown similar patterns to international research although it was difficult to determine the trends due to the lack of the number of domestic studies. The future directions of domestic mathematics education research on emotion were proposed as follows. Since it is difficult to collect reasonable and reliable data on pure emotion due to the nature of emotion in mathematics education research, it is suggested to introduce the concept of emotional intelligence, which is the combination of emotion and cognition. Also, it was recommended to utilize the concept of meta-emotion for future study on emotion-related research.

소그룹단위의 단기간 영양교육프로그램이 당뇨병환자의 식사요법 실천에 미치는 영향

  • 당뇨병은 발병한 후에는 혈당조절을 위한 식사요법 실천이 평생에 걸쳐 지속적으로 이루어져야하는 질환이므로 식사요법에 대한 영양교육이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지속적인 실습을 포함하는 소그룹 단위의 영양교육프로그램을 실시함으로써 식사요법 실천에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 2003년 4월부터 7월까지 보건소에서 여성 당뇨병 환자 13명을 대상으로 혈당에 가장 영향을 미치는 당질식품의 적정섭취와 균형있고 규칙적인 식사를 강조한 쉬운 식사요법 교실의 형태로 연속 4주간, 2시간의 교육형태로 그룹인원을 5명 이하로 하여 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통하여 식사요법 장애 인자를 파악하였으며 교육 전후에 식사 섭취량, 혈당 허리둘레를 측정하여 비교하였다. 대상자의 평균 연령은 57.85 $\pm$ 9.55세, 유병 기간 6.38 $\pm$ 2.9년이었다 식사요법 교육을 받은 경험이 있는 환자는 15.4%이며 당뇨병 가족력을 가지고 있는 환자는 53.8%이었다. 당뇨병 발견 동기는 증상 .있었던 경우가 23.1%, 종합 진단시 발견된 경우 15.4%, 타 질환 치료시 알게된 경우 61.5%이었다. 저혈당 증세 및 대처방법을 알고 있는 환자는 53.8%이었다. 식사요법시 장애인자를 항목별로 질문하였을 때 가장 큰 장애는 주위에서 더 먹으라고 권유하는 것, 식사요법은 나에게 큰짐이 된다는 생각, 식사요법보다 일상생활에서 더 중요한 것이 많음이 53.8%로 답하였다. 교육 전후의 식사 섭취 량을 비교하였을 때 교육 전 에너지 섭취량은 1579.6 $\pm$ 355.8㎉ 교육 후 1505 $\pm$ 425.3㎉로서 70㎉정도 감소하였다. 교육 시 처방한 열량의 98.3%를 섭취하고 있었다. 당질섭취는 교육 전 257$\pm$60.6g 교육 후 214.8$\pm$56.1g로 감소하였고 단백질, 지질의 섭취는 교육전후에 큰 차이가 없었다. 총열량에 대한 3대 영양소의 섭취비율은 교육 전 57:23:20에서 교육 후 51:28:21로 당질비율은 감소하고 지질이나 단백질 섭취비율이 증가하였다. 교육전 후 식품군 별 섭취 량을 식품교환단위 수로 비교하였을 때 곡류군 섭취는 교육 전 5.87 $\pm$ 2.51에서 교육 후 5.38 $\pm$ 1.71로 교육후 당질 식품 섭취량이 감소하였으나 통계적으로 유의성은 나타나지 않았다. 교육 후 식품선택에서의 큰 변화는 과일류 중 토마토 섭취 비율 증가로 교육 전에는 총 과일 섭취량의 19.87%에서 교육 후에는 56.32%로 증가했다. 혈당은 교육후 42.8mg/㎗ 감소한 것으로 나타났으며 허리둘레는 교육 전 평균 83.8 $\pm$ 5.75에서 교육 후 82.33 $\pm$ 5.89cm로 약 1.5cm가량 감소하였다. 따라서 당질 식품 적정 섭취에 대한 실습 위주의 단기간 영양교육은 당뇨병 관리에 유익한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • The purpose is to figure out the effects of education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences on children's nature-friendly attitudes and scientific problem solving ability. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted on total 44 kindergarten children in a class for 5-year-olds, who are classified into experimental group of 22 children(12 male children, 10 female children) and comparative group of 22 children(13 male children, 9 female children), in a C farming village. The results are as follows. First, the change of children's nature-friendly attitudes by group showed that education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences had an effect on the improvement of children's nature-friendly attitudes. Second, the change of children's scientific problem solving ability by group showed that education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences had an effect on the improvement of children's scientific problem solving ability. This implies that children's forest activities are useful in improving their nature-friendly attitudes and scientific problem solving ability.

Categorization of Middle school students' Math Learning Style Preferences and Comparison of Academic Characteristics (중학생의 수학학습양식 선호유형의 범주화와 학습 특성 비교)

  • The purpose of the research is to categorize math learners into pattern through those tools that distinguish math learning style for middle school students. On the ground of survey for 976 middle school students, the fact that there are 16 different math learning style at the result of cluster analysis is confirmed and the results are compared and analyzed previous research. Also according to the each constituent of math learning style, dissimilarity of distribution about learner of different sexes and grades are analyzed. It's helpful to understanding the whole characteristics of learners regarding math learning to figure out their cognitive and affective learning styles through the tools to distinguish their math learning styles.

Analysis of Class Effects by Creativity and Convergence Extracurricular Program Activities (창의융합 비교과프로그램 활동에 따른 수업효과 분석)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of learning by running an extracurricular program to make effective learning of unfamiliar and difficult programming education possible for students in the humanities. Analysis of learning-related data for one semester of lectures that were collected from 70 humanities students in departments A and B, data collected from a creative convergence app development contest extracurricular program, and data obtained through a questionnaire show that extracurricular program activities affect academic performance. The results of the core competency diagnosis test for students that was conducted before and after participating in the curriculum showed that core competencies improved for both A and B departments after participating in the curriculum. This study shows that extracurricular program activities can help individuals improve their abilities, while also providing customized guidance to reclusive students to improve their academic performance. By carrying out customized coaching for each department to develop apps related to the major field rather than general apps, we hope for improvements in ability to solve problems by converging with the major field, computational thinking, and creative thinking, in the future.

The Effects of the Maker Education Program Science Class Applying the TMSI Model on Elementary School Students' Academic Achievement in Science and Scientce-Related Attitudes (TMSI모형을 적용한 메이커교육 프로그램 과학수업이 초등학생의 과학 학업성취도 및 과학 관련 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effects of the maker education program science class applying the TMSI model on elementary school students' academic achievement in science and scientific attitudes. This study involved 40 sixth-grade students from an elementary school in a metropolitan city, classified into an experimental group and a comparison group. The experimental group participated in the maker education program class applying the TMSI Model, whereas the control group experienced a traditional teacher-centered class as outlined in the teachers' guidebook. The results of the study were as follows. First, the maker education program science class applying the TMSI model had a significant effect on improving students' academic achievement in science. Second, the maker education program science class applying the TMSI model had a significant effect on improving students' science-related attitudes. Based on these results, the implications for science education and future research directions related to the application of maker education to science were discussed.

The Effects of Educational Activities Based on Oriental Mythology on Young Children's Creativity and Personality (동양신화에 기반한 통합 교육활동이 유아의 창의·인성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of educational activities based on oriental mythology on young children's creativity and personality. A total of 14 sessions were applied to 36 children (18 experimental group and 18 control group). For this study, myths in Shan-hai jing, The Classic of Mountains and Seas), which is the origin of oriental mythology, were used as basic data of class activities and developed to experimental groups. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 statistical program and covariance analysis (ANCOVA) was conducted with covariance score of the group after the activity. The results of this study were as follows: First, integrated educational activities using oriental mythology had a positive effect on all children's creativity and all sub-factors. Second, integrated educational activities using Oriental mythology have a positive effect on children's personality. The expansion and transformation of educational texts to oriental mythology is not only helpful for young children's creativity and personality development, but also enables them to experience cultural balance through their new understanding of the Orient.

A Comparison of Resilience and Task Commit between Elementary Gifted Students in Science and Non-gifted Students (영재교육기관별 초등과학영재와 일반학생의 회복탄력성 및 과제집착력 비교)

  • This study aims to compare resilience and task commitment between the elementary gifted students in science and non-gifted students. The subjects in this study were 132 gifted students belonged to gifted education centers or gifted classes and 147 non-gifted students, all of whom were in the 6th grade. In order to examine resilience and task commitment, a 5-point Likert scale-style questionnaire survey was conducted to the subjects. With the aim of identifying the difference between resilience and task commitment among groups, data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. And in order to investigate the relationship between resilience and task commitment among groups, Pearson correlation analysis was carried out. The results of this study were as follows; First, resilience was found to have a significant difference between scientifically gifted students belonged to gifted education centers and non-gifted elementary students, and between students of gifted classes and ordinary elementary students, with no significant difference between scientifically gifted elementary students belonged to gifted education centers and students of gifted classes. Second, task commitment was found to have a significant difference between scientifically gifted elementary students belonged to gifted education centers and non-gifted students. Third, there were very high correlation between resilience and task commitment among the groups.

Perceptions of nurses as a profession in Korea (간호전문직에 대한 인식)

  • 연구목적 : 전문직으로서 간호사에 대한 인식을 집단별로 파악하고 이들에 대한 인식을 비교한다. 연구방법 : 설문지를 이용한 비교조사연구로서 조사대상은 간호사, 간호학교수, 의사, 약사, 간호조무사, 병원행정직원, 행정관료, 정당활동가, 일반시민 등을 포함한 총 584명이었으며, 설문지는 12개 하부항목으로 범주화된 36개 문항으로 구성되었다. 연구결과 : 간호사에 대한 인식은 의사가 가장 긍적적이었으며, 병원직원이 가장 부정적이었다. 모든 집단에서 가장 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있는 항목은 '사회적 요구'였으며, 그 다음은 '직무기술', '사회적 인식' 등의 순으로 나타났다. 가장 부정적인 것은 '간호교육'이었고, 그 다음은 '간호조직체 활동', '직무환경' 순으로 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구를 기초로 하여 간호사들은 다른 집단들을 대상으로 전문직으로서의 간호사에 대한 인식을 높이기 위한 전략을 마련하여야 한다.
