This paper proposes a classification model for systematical management of resources in educational repositories. A classification scheme should be provided to systematically store and manage, precisely retrieve, and maximize the usability of the resources. However, there is little research result on the classification scheme and classification model for educational repository resources. It causes several issues such as inefficient management of educational resources, incorrect retrieval, and low usability. However, there are different characteristics between the educational resource information and information of the previous fields. Therefore, a novel research on the classification scheme and classification model for the resources in educational repositories is required. To achieve the goal for efficient and easy use of the educational resources, we should manage consistently the resources according to the classification scheme accepting several views. This paper proposes a classification model to systematically manage and increase the usability of the educational resources. In other words, the proposed classification model can manages dynamically the classification scheme for the resources in educational repositories according to various views. To achieve the objectives, we first define a proper classification scheme for the implementation resources based on the classification scheme in relevant scientific technology fields. Especially, we define a novel classification model to dynamically manage the defined classification scheme. The proposed classification scheme and classification model enable more precise and systematic management of implementation resources and also increase the ease of usability.

A user can use resources on the Semantic Web using a Semantic Web browser. In order to utilize the functions of Semantic Web browsers in education, we compared the functions of well-known Semantic Web browsers such as Tabulator, Contextual Search Browser (CSB), Magpie, and Piggy Bank. In order to utilize Semantic Web browsers in education, a user needs to understand the features of each Semantic Web browser and our work can help both teachers and students. Tabulator is an RDF browser that can help to check whether resources can be used for learning and relevance of resources. CSB can be used to search educational resources using a conrtext file that contains the subjects of learning. It can also help learning by showing semantic web resources in the form of triple set as well as by supporting highlighting function. Magpie can help learners without basic knowledge on learning materials by providing interpretation based on a glossary file and related background knowledge. Piggy Bank supports conversion of web resources into semantic web resources and allows to browse semantic web resources in various views as well as to share semantic web resources.

올 3월1일부터 영재교육진흥법이 시행됨에 따라 영재교육이 공교육차원에서 실시되는 전기를 마련하게 되었다. 그간 영재교육에 관해서는 필요성을 공감하면서 부작용을 우려하는 목소리가 있어 왔다. 그렇지만 1996년부터 판별도구 개발 및 영재교육 시행방안에 대한연구를 계속해왔고, 최근 사회의 급격한 변동, 그에 따라 우수인력의 중요성이 강조되면서 작년부터 관계부처간 협의 및 각계의견을 수렴하여 영재교육 추진방향을 정립하게 되었다. 특히 지난해에는 인적자원개발회의(의장: 교육부총리)에서 영재교육 추진방향에 대한 정부차원의 의견을 모으는 한편, 몇 십년 전부터 영재교육을 실시해온 미국을 각 시.도교육청 담당자들과 방문하여 수업현장을 살펴보고, 이스라엘 영재학교 교장을 면담하는 등으로 영재교육을 구체화하는 작업을 추진해 왔다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 올 4월 10일 인적자원개발회의에 '영재의 조기발굴 및 육성에 관한 2002년도 국가인적자원개발 시행계획'을 보고하고, 5월3일자로 부산과학고를 영재학교로 지정하면서 영재교육은 교육정채그이 한 영역으로 자리잡게 되었다. 여기에서는 현재까지 정립된 국가차원의 영재교육 시행방안에 대한 설명과 함께 앞으로 영재교육이 공교육 제도 안에서 자리잡도록 하기 위한 과제에 대해서 논의하고자 한다.

지금의 사회봉사에 대해 사회 일각에서는 자원봉사를 제도화함으로써 봉사가 강용될 뿐만 아니라 형식적으로 이루어지고 있어 본래 의미를 퇴색시키고 있다는 비판도 있다. 그러나 다른 한편으로 그간의 산업사회의 폐해와 배금주의로 인해 실종된 봉사의 덕목을 소생하고 생활화하는 것은 민족공동체 회복을 위해 바람직하다는 공감대가 형성되고 있다. 특히 자원봉사가 각급학교 교육에 제도화되고 있는 만큼 초.중.고교와 대학의 사회봉사를 연계하여 체계화할 필요성이 크다.

현재 한국의 많은 대학의 수학과는 낮은 지원율 신입생 미충원 그리고 전과/편입학/자퇴 등 높은 이탈 등으로 학생자원 부족에서 오는 생존이 위협되는 위기에 처해있다. 실제로 몇 년 사이에 학생 모집이 중단됨으로서 폐과가 진행 중인 대학의 수학과가 나타나고 있다. 한국의 대학교육에서 수학과가 퇴조하는 이러한 현재 상황의 진행이 3-5년 후 대학 및 대학원의 수학전공은 어떤 상황에 있을 것인가? 학생자원 감소라는 현재의 추세가 계속 진행된다면, 대학의 학문 체계와 대학교육에서 수학의 위치 역할은 무엇을 의미하는가? 이러한 대학의 수학전공에 지원하는 학생자원 부족 문제는 진지하게 구체적으로 다루고 도전하고 해결 방안을 구해야 할 문제인가? 아니면 일시적인 퇴조 현상에 대한 기우인가?

International volunteering in education is one of activities in volunteering. Volunteers have been recognizing that educational activities play an important role in volunteering. Recently, there is an increase of participants and various supports for educational volunteering in South Korea. However, regardless of the essential meanings in which activities commonly attempt for deriving local sources in terms of human and resources, many participants in volunteering take advantages of their own purposes and providing their supports in terms of a mercy. This study asserts that this situation comes from the lack of theoretical understanding of volunteering. Therefore, this study realizes a need of providing a theoretical background and purports to suggest it for international volunteering in education. It is the critical pedagogy. Critical pedagogy tries to deconstruct false-consciousness of the oppressed through education. And, it emphasizes that people could have autonomy and self-directed sovereignty. Accordingly, critical pedagogy should be a theoretical background of activities for deriving human's autonomous consciousness and their own resources. Thus, it might be a theoretical background for international volunteering in education.

최근 스마트폰 및 타블릿PC 등 모바일 장치의 성능(쿼드코어)이 급격히 성장하고, 사용자의 증가, 무선 통신 환경(LTE, Wibro 등)의 발전으로 모바일 장치들을 연산 가능한 자원으로 고려하는 모바일 클라우드 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 자원 제공자인 모바일 장치의 자율적 연산 참여와 탈퇴가 가능하기 때문에 기존의 시스템들은 수행중인 연산이 중단되어 연산의 완료 시간이 지연되며, 시스템의 결함으로 이어지게 된다. 따라서 모바일 장치의 안정적인 연산 수행을 위한 안정적인 모바일 자원을 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰적인 모바일 자원을 제공하기 위해 소셜 네트워크 정보를 이용하여 그룹화 함으로써 모바일 자원 관리를 제공한다

In 2010 the Manila Amendments established the highest practicable standards for officers and engineers. This amendments includes knowledge, understanding, skills, and proficiency required for a deck officer in terms of the BRM (Bridge Resource Management) to reduce human errors, stated in the International Convention on Standards of Training, Cerification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW). This paper proposes a proper direction to improve BRM education program in Korea. In relation to the BRM program, its contents and education method were analyzed through the satisfactions survey for cadets and the experienced officers. As a consequence, this research gives several suggestions to improve the current BRM course.

최근 나타나고 있는 이공계기피 현상으로 인해 우리나라 과학계 및 과학교육은 큰 위기를 맞고 있다. 21세기 국가의 생존을 위해서는 과학기술의 발전이 그 무엇보다도 중요하다. 과학기술 기반을 튼튼히 하기 위해서는 과학기술계에 종사할 적절한 수준의 인적자원이 필요하며, 이와 같은 인적자원 육성은 초중등학교 과학교육에서 기초가 다져진다고 할 수 있다. 교육과정은 학교 교육의 기본 설계도라고 할 수 있기 때문에 교육과정이 어떻게 개정되느냐에 따라 초중등학교의 과학교육은 엄청난 영향을 받게 된다. 현재 제7차 교육과정이 전면적으로 시행되고 있으나 국가${\cdot}$사회의 다양한 요구에 의해 교육과정 개정이 불가피하게 되었으며, 이에 따라 교육인적자원부는 교육과정 개정을 추진하고 있다. 이와 같은 중요한 시기에 우리 나라 과학교육의 문제점과 발전 방안을 모색하는 것은 매우 의미 있는 일이 다.

이러닝의 중요성과문화산업에의 파급효과 및 장래성에 대하여는 이미 많은 문건이나 발표로 알려져 있다. 이렇게 여러 분야에 중요한 효과를 가져가기 위해서는 교육의 양적 성장 뿐 만 아니라 효율적인 교육과 이에 대한 효과에 대해 관심을 기울여야 한다. 이미 미국이나 유럽을 중심으로 각종 이러닝 관련 연구를 통해 ROE(교육투자회임) 연구와 더불어 품질인증(QA : Quality Assurance)에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이러한 움직임은 이러닝을 위한 교육자원의 상호운용 또는 활용이라는 측면에서 강조되어 온 이러닝 표준화와 연계되어 그 움직임이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러닝 품질표준화의 논의는 단순히 교육자원의 상호운용과 재사용이라는 측면에서 제시되어 온 메타데이터 관리 차원의 SCORM과 같은 기준 외에 교육자원의 생성으로부터 교육시스템 및 교육과정 운영에 이르기까지 그 영역이 광범위한 것에 주목할 필요가 있으며, 국가와 문화적으로도 다양한 환경을 고려해야만 할 것이다. 본고에서는 이러닝 품질보증 표준화의 정의와 범위 그리고 표준안을 만들기 위한 수행절차 및 적용방법 등을 살펴본 후에 외국의 개발 현황과 국내의 개발 현황을 비교함으로써 우리가 가져야 할 미래지향적 표준전략을 제시하고자 한다.
