A Study on the Teaching and Learning Method of Digital Literacy (디지털 리터러시 함양을 위한 교수·학습 방법 연구)

  • The era of the 4th industrial revolution is being built on the digital revolution. In order to understand and properly utilize these technological advances, digital literacy education is emphasized. This study investigated the components of digital literacy and proposed a curriculum & teaching and learning method improvement plan, and instructor digital literacy cultivation method. In order to improve the curriculum, it is necessary to improve the curriculum by expanding the ability to solve digital problems. As a plan to improve teaching and learning methods, it is necessary to present a linkage and convergence educational model based on communication, collaboration, and sharing between instructors and learners through the establishment of an interactive platform. In order to improve the digital literacy of instructors, it is very important to improve the educational environment that can easily design a learner-centered educational model. This study is meaningful in that it presented basic data for creating an educational environment based on communication and collaboration through digital literacy in an environment connected with digital technology.

  • 초고속 정보통신망의 발전과 더불어 컴퓨터의 급속한 보급 및 웹 기술의 발전으로 교육 분야에서도 큰 변화가 일어나고 있다. 인터넷의 대중화로 정보화 마인드가 확산됨에 따라 다양한 학습이 이루어졌고, 이에 따라 자격증 역시 정보화 지수로 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 7차 교육과정에서는 저학년에도 컴퓨터 교육이 이루어지고 정보소양인증제도가 실시됨에 따라 자격증 취득에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 많은 컴퓨터 관련 자격증 중에서 정보처리 기능사 필기시험을 가상공간인 웹 상에서 설계 및 구현해 봄으로써 실업계 고등학교 학생들이 보다 손쉽게 자격증을 취득하는데 도움을 주도록 하는데 있다. 이러한 웹에 기반한 교육적 활용의 한 모델로서 자기 주도적 학습이론과 수준별 학습이론을 정보처리 기능사 필기시험에 적용하였다. '자격증 시험을 위한 웹 기반 문제은행 시스템'은 정보처리 기능사 필기시험뿐만 아니라, 문제은행 방식의 많은 컴퓨터 관련 자격증 필기시험에도 적용 및 응용이 가능하다.

  • 간호원은 비록 그가 양호교사가 아니라고 하더라도 그가 처한 위치에서 거의 매일 건강교육을 실시하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러한 비정규직 교육은 상황에 따라 간호활동의 대상자들에게 수시로 별 준비 없이 실시한 경우도 있겠으나 효율적인 결과를 얻을 수 있는 체계적인 보건교육은 구체적인 학습목적과 교육과정이 교육적으로 미리 계획되어 있어야만 가능하다고 할 것이다. 양호교사의 기본적인 역할이 학교 구성원들의 건강증진과 질병예방에 있으며 효율적인 건강교육을 통하여 이러한 목적을 달성한다고 할 때, 양호교사는 자신을 그 학교공동체의 주된 건강교육자로 이해하고 학교에서 이루어지는 모든 보건교육 과정에 적극적인 참여를 하여야만 한다. 그러한 역할중의 하나는 보건에 관한 수업을 실시하는 학과목 교사나 담임교사들이 건강교육에 관련한 협의를 양호교사에게 요청하도록 적극적인 건강교육환경을 학교 내에 조성하여야 하는 일과 중요한 건강주제에 대하여서는 양호교사가 직접 수업을 교실에서 이끌어야 하는 것일 것이다. 이 논문에서 다룬 보건교육 교안 연구는 양호교사에게 또 건강에 관한 주제를 가지고 수업을 하는 일반교사에게 중학생의 건강교육 과정의 한 모델로써 사용하는데 도움이 될 것으로 본다. 건강교육 프로그램을 질병예방, 건강증진에 초점을 두어 설계한다고 할 때 건강교육의 주된 방향은 대상자 하나 하나의 생활에서 건강을 위한 바람직한 행위를 생활화하도록 하는 것이다. 이 목적을 학교에서 달성하기 위해서는 건강교육 프로그램을 통하여 학생들에게 건강에 대한 지식을 전달하고 그 지식 위에 건강을 위한 바람직한 행위를 하도록 동기를 부여하며 그러한 행위를 지속하도록 보강하는 것이 필요하다고 할 것이다. 사람들은 건강에 대한 지식이나 정보를 가지게 되면, 행위는, 그것에 상응하여 바람직하게 행할 것이라고 가정하기가 쉽다. 그리하여 건강에 대한 정보를 주는 것 건강교육을 했다고 간주하기도 한다. 그러나 실제적으로 건강을 위한 정보를 받고 지식을 가졌다 하더라도 바람직한 행위를 실천하지 않거나, 습관된 반건강 행위를 바꾸지 않는 경우가 많다. 그러므로 건강한 행위를 실천하기 위해서는 그에 대한 가치관이나 태도가 먼저 분명하게 세워져야 한다. 학생들의 경우에도 그 가치관이 확립되어야 하겠으므로 이를 위한 효과적인 교육방법이 제시된 교육안 모델이 있어야 할 것이다. 즉 건강문제에 대한 태도의 확립과 그에 따른 올바른 행위를 실천하도록 하기 위하여 구체적으로 치밀하게 계획된 건강교육 안이 연구되어 지는 것이 건강교육의 가장 중요한 과제중의 하나이다. 이 연구에서 제시하는 건강교육 프로그램에서는 많은 부분의 정보가 학생들 스스로에 의해서 수집되도록 하였다. 그렇게 함으로써 그들이 흡연에 관한 사실들을 스스로 명백하게 파악할 수 있었기 때문이다. 또한 소그룹 토의와 논쟁의 방법을 통해서 학생들이 흡연에 대해서 자신들의 생각하고 있는 것을 검토하여 올바른 판단을 하도록 하는 기회를 가질 수 있도록 하였다.

Quality Control of the Educational Contents based on Life Cycle (생명주기 기반 교육용 콘텐츠 질 관리)

  • In this paper, to establish a way controlling educational contents, range of contents for quality control are offered. And a life-cycle suitable for present circumstance has defined and successive quality control process has suggested supporting development and use of the contents through analyzing the life cycle of its software and previous contents. A life cycle is defined as whole process from formation of contents to its extinction. The developing process includes stages of planning, designing, manufacturing, and the applying process includes evaluation, circulation and management. Suitable quality control guidelines for each process have established and offered. Aim of this paper is also to develop a model which is applicable to developers as well as supporters who help the developing process.

  • Research on software education and linking and convergence of other subjects has been mainly focused on mathematics and science subjects. The dissatisfaction of various preferences and types of learning personality cause to learning gap. In addition, it is not desirable considering the solution of various fusion problems that can apply the computational thinking. In this way, it is possible to embrace the diverse tendencies and preferences of students through the linkage with the English subject, which is a linguistic approach that deviates from the existing mathematical and scientific approach. By combining similarities in the process of learning a new language of English education and software education. For this purpose, based on the analysis of teaching - learning model of elementary English subject and software education, we developed a class model by modifying existing English subject and software teaching - learning model to be suitable for linkage. Then, the learning elements applicable to software education were extracted from the contents of elementary school English curriculum, and a program applied to the developed classroom model was designed and the practical application method of learning was searched.

Developing a Practical Course Model for the Personality Education in a Theological University (신학대학교에서 성품 교육을 위한 실천적 코스 모델 개발)

  • This study is purposed to prepare students in theological universities so that they contribute to their faith community as well as the broader social community in future through developing a practical course model for education of character formation. Facing the challenge of a high-tech revolution being progressed globally in this period, theological seminaries as the Christian-affiliated institute of higher education see the necessity to nurture their learners' competency of holistic personality comprehending cognitive, affective, behavioral, and more spiritual maturity as well as specialty in each subject matter. The holistic character capability of seminarians is closely related not only to their own self-realization, but also social community's well-being. This research had the following content and results. Chapter 1 brought up a subject to educational needs of the holistic character formation in the theological seminaries to meet the rapidly changing times. Chapter 2 considered the importance of character formation in the curriculum of the universities and theological seminaries in the times of high-tech revolution through the literature reviews related to. Chapter 3 clarified the elements of character education to be placed emphasis on theological seminaries and established the way of course planning. Chapter 4, using a course of Christian social education for illustration, described in order the whole process of course planning comprehending the need of planning, description of course concept, establishment and definition of learning outcomes, organization of learning experience(course content), teaching-learning activities, evaluation of learning outcome, and course improvement, which was visualized with the chart of the process of course design. Also, it provided a practical illustration of the conceptual map, an outline of content and an organization of units, and scope-sequence chart. Finally, chapter 5 gave an syllabus example in an integrative and digestive form as the course plan to be distributed to the students, which is the final result produced through the whole process of course planning. This research is intended not to present a overall curriculum planning of the university-level in the theological seminaries, but to develop a course-level curriculum focused on the formation of character. The author hope that this study would be used as a guideline in developing a course model to nurture the capability of the learners' holistic character.

Developing and Assessing a Learning Progression for the Ecosystem (생태계에 대한 학습발달과정의 개발과 평가)

  • There have been much efforts to reconstruct the science curriculum focusing on Disciplinary Core Ideas(DCI) in many countries such as America and Europe, the most practical effort has been to design a curriculum with learning progressions(LPs). LPs describe stepwise how students can systematically move toward the understanding of more sophisticated ideas or scientific activities and explain in succession the process of understanding the ideas while the students learn. In this study, a LP for ecosystems has been developed, and the developed LP is then evaluated accordingly. The Ecosystem is one of the DCI of the life science in Next Generation Science Standards(NGSS). The development process of the LP was set at step 4(Development, Assessment, Analysis, and Amendment), and developed through an iterative process of sequences. As a result of analyzing the developed LP, an assessment based on the LP provides reliable information to identifying student ability. This study proposes the development process of the LP and its methodological aspects to use Core Achievement Standards, Ordered Multiple-Choice items and the Rasch model. In addition, using the empirically proven LP suggests a way of strengthening curriculum linked to educational content, teaching methods and assessment. Utilizing the proposed development process in this study will be to present the standard into the direction of becoming part of the curriculum. Currently, the state of domestic research for the LP is still lacking. This study determined the development process of the LP and the need to conduct future research on the LPs.

A Study on the Model of Artificial Neural Network for Construction Cost Estimation of Educational Facilities at Conceptual Stage (교육시설의 개념단계 공사비예측을 위한 인공신경망모델 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is propose an Artificial Neural Network(ANN) model for the construction estimate of the public educational facility at conceptual stage. The current method for the preliminary cost estimate of the public educational facility uses a single-parameter which is based on basic criteria such as a gross floor area. However, its accuracy is low due to the nature of the method. When the difference between the conceptual estimate and detailed estimate is huge, the project has to be modified to meet the established budget. Thus, the ANN model is developed by using multi-parameters in order to estimate the project budget cost more accurately. The result of the research shows 6.82% of the testing error rates when the developed model was tested. The error rates and the error range of the developed model are smaller than those of the general preliminary estimating model at conceptual stage. Since the proposed ANN model was trained using the detailed estimate information of the past 5 years' school construction data, it is expected to forecast the school project cost accurately.

The Effect of Novel Engineering (NE) Education using VR authoring tool on STEAM literacy and Learning Immersion (VR 저작도구 기반 노벨 엔지니어링(NE) 교육이 초등학생의 융합인재소양과 학습몰입에 미치는 효과)

  • This study is about the Novel Engineering(NE) education program : a class model that combines reading and engineering. By including the process of directly designing and programming a virtual reality using CospacesEdu (a VR authoring tool for the NE class), the effects of the educational program on learners' STEAM literacy and Learning immersion are demonstrated. Moreover, the subject of this education is Dokdo in South Korea. As a result, the average of STEAM literacy is increased, and a significant change is confirmed statistically in Convergence. Learning immersion shows significant improvement in Challenges-skills balance. On the other hand, some students experience difficulties due to the long research stages, from reading a book to researching for information to designing VR and rewriting a story with the collected information. In conclusion, this study will help generalise other education using NE, and this developed program will be a reference that would suggest a new way of teaching.

A Development of Computer System Curriculum Design for Elementary Students (초등학생을 위한 컴퓨터 시스템 교육과정 모델 개발)

  • In the knowledge and information society, computer education for elementary school is very important. When students are young, they use digital devices. In these days, computer education is software education has attracted only focused on software education curriculum and courses are being made. A software education must be included the education of a computer system. In this study, at least what the computer was designed and built from the elementary curriculum about whether that is how the computer operates. Not made from first grade to sixth grade to grade-level system it made the students of level 7 step system. This is a flexible strategy for education in the school or grade level requirements. This study is meant to argue that the need to be a computer system from elementary education.
