According to the KEC 2005 accreditation criteria, enough major courses in addition to mathematics, basic science, computer science, cultural studies are required to fulfill the program's goal. So it is hoped that students have to take mandatory major courses as well cultural studies. In this paper we considered the necessity of General Education Curriculum for Engineering Education by analyzing the several university's accreditation programs and suggested the desirable modeling of the General Education Curriculum.

As the topics of general education in universities become more diverse, it is not an easy task to identify the topics of general education courses. This study aims to identify and visualize the topics of A university's general education courses using informetric analysis methods. 214 syllabi were collected and titles, course introduction, goals, and weekly plans were analyzed. 278 topic words were extracted from the data set and grouped into 8 clusters. In the network analysis, topic clusters were divided into two areas, personal and social. Personal area has 14 sub-topic clusters and social area has 11 sub-topic clusters. In personal area, 'language', 'science', and 'personality' were major topic clusters. In social area, 'multi-culture' cluster was the core cluster with connected to four other clusters. The topic network generated in this study can be used for the university and the university library to enhance general education or to develop collections for general education.

This research has verified the efficacy of character education course in Liberal Art Curriculum in accordance with the objective of K Women's University of which is the 'mind sharing through mindfulness, SMART human resources development'. Most of the content of character education is organized aiming to promote values of "appreciation". The subjects are experimental group and control group, of which are 229. Research methods were t-test of between groups. The effects of the course have shown that the experimental group students were higher on the level of connectedness sub-scale in Gestalt Contact Boundary Scale than those of the control group students(t=2.323, p = .021). Although the 'character education' course increased connectedness, but it no positive effect on mindfulness skill and self-esteem. This results showed that character education course is effective to promote mind sharing and connectedness in part. It was discussed about a way of further refining course contents and the need to reflect educational philosophy of the K Women's University.

A lot of colleges have made continued efforts to help freshmen adapt themselves to a new school life and environment and build a decent relationship with faculty and other students. Therefore, this study attempted to figure out the effectiveness of team teaching(team teaching by academic advisor, standard textbook-centered guidance vs. autonomous mentoring) on strategic cultural curriculum as a way to help freshmen adapt themselves to a school life. For research subjects, 31 enrolled freshmen and 5 professors from a college in Chungbuk were selected. In terms of research tools, 'Communication Competence Assessment Sheet' provided by Strategic Cultural Curriculum Development Team and a simple questionnaire on 'curriculum satisfaction, adaptation to school and intimacy' were applied. For data analysis, paired t-test, independent samples t-test and rating scale were conducted. The study results found the followings: First, according to analysis on the effects of two different types of team teaching on the goal of strategic cultural curriculum('improvement of communication competence'), significant effects were found in a standard curriculum(textbook)-centered team. Second, when adaptation to a school life(school adaptation, intimacy) perceived by the students who completed the strategic cultural curriculum according to two different types of team teaching curriculum was analyzed, significant changes were found at standard textbook-centered guidance team. Third, this study has examined other changes, satisfaction, opinions and perception(strength, weakness, opinions for improvement) on the curriculum perceived by the students(learners) and faculty regarding about team teaching curriculum. Based on these results, educational implications of this study were reviewed. And a suggestion and limits were presented.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of teaching style of liberal arts physical education professors to class satisfaction, Class flow and physical education attitude of liberal arts students. A study was conducted on a total of 221 liberal arts students. For the collected data, a confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis (Cronbach' α) for the measurement tool were performed using the SPSS 26.0 and Amos 21.0 programs. And correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. The liberal arts physical education Professor's teaching stlye affects the student's class satisfaction (educational satisfaction, environmental satisfaction, psychosocial satisfaction, physical satisfaction), and students' class flow (class immersion, purpose experience, consciousness agreement, challenge, control, Integration). In addition, it has various effects on the student's attitude toward physical education(relationships, physical activity, active participation, health and physical fitness, positive emotions). Efforts to strengthen the competence of liberal arts physical education professors will be needed to revitalize the liberal arts physical education.

The purpose of this study is to explore the design direction of artificial intelligence convergence liberal arts subjects based on flip learning and maker education through analysis of learner needs in a non-face-to-face classroom environment caused by COVID-19. To this end, we analyzed the priorities of subject content elements by using the Borich needs assessment and The Locus for Focus model along with students' perceptions of flip learning for students who took and did not take maker education-based liberal arts courses. Based on this, it was used as basic data for designing the curriculum. The study results are as follows. First, the content elements of the artificial intelligence liberal arts curriculum based on maker education consisted of a total of 9 areas and were designed as a class using flip learning. Second, the areas with the highest demand for education are 'Artificial Intelligence Theory', 'Artificial Intelligence Programming Practice', 'Physical Computing Theory', 'Physical Computing Practice', followed by 'Convergence Project', '3D Printing Theory', '3D Printing practice' was decided. Third, most of the questionnaires regarding the application of flip learning in maker education-based artificial intelligence liberal arts subjects showed positive responses regardless of whether they took the course, and the satisfaction of the students was very high. Based on this, an artificial intelligence-based convergence liberal arts curriculum using flip learning and maker education was designed. This is meaningful in that it provides an opportunity to cultivate artificial intelligence literacy for college students by preparing the foundation for artificial intelligence convergence education in liberal arts education by reflecting the needs of students.

In this study, we examined the satisfaction level of J university's compulsory liberal arts subject with quantitative research. The results quantitative research are as follows. First, men are more interested in creative thinking, college life guidance and career path design than girls. Second, the level of satisfaction with the required liberal arts subject by grade was found to be without a statistical significant difference. Third, the satisfaction level of each line of learning was shown in the order of natural engineering, health and welfare, physical fitness, and humanities. The satisfaction level of the lines of learning was found to vary. Fourth, The satisfaction level of each campus was found to vary. The results of this study could be used as basic data to improve the college liberal arts curriculum, especially the compulsory liberal arts curriculum. This study made of centrally actual application in general arts classes based on movie in university. Especially, I analyzed the activities of the class with 'Untouchable: 1% friendship' among 6 films. The objects of this study are 44 students of D university in Busan Metropolitan City who take 'creative fusion from movie' general arts class which opened first semester in 2016. In this study, students were able to watch movies through the creative class, which was out of the traditional classroom method, and after 15 hours of learning the quiz online, they conducted 15 weeks as a teaching method to perform tasks, presentations, experiments, and experiences in regular class time. The results of this study are as follows. 'It is a general arts class that makes movements live,' 'It is a general arts class that shows movies from various perspectives,' and 'It is a general arts class that makes me know.' This suggests that the educational medium, which is easily accessible in everyday life, and the general arts class, which is active in the space outside the framework, are perceived as stimulating curiosity and adding fun to college students.

Liberal education in colleges and universities embrace the concept of general education to enhance individual's morality, intelligence and identity. In consideration of physical education aim to develop cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains as a whole person education, liberal education and general physical education share the same values and objectives. Suppose physical education and liberal education shared same initial values, general physical education should take possession of the core means to achieve liberal education goals. To this end, it is necessary to inspect the actual statement of general physical education curriculum carefully, to find potential problems and prevent them in advance, and also explore future directions. In the current investigation, researchers found potential problems through identifying operation status of general physical education in 10 national universities. In addition, researcher provided future directions of general physical education in college and university including 'take possession of core means for liberal education', 'making diverse general physical education curriculum', 'move away from physical skill-centered education', 'general physical education as a whole body education' and 'increase opportunity of general physical education'.

현재 대부분의 전공이나 교양 교과목에 관한 교수-설계방법은 연구개발이 많이 되어 왔지만 NCS 직업기초능력 정보능력 교양 교과목에 알맞은 교수-학습 설계법은 미진한 형편이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기존의 교수-설계 방법론을 기반으로 한 정보능력 교과목에 관한 교수-학습 모형의 설계안을 제시하고자 한다.
