  • 학습자에게 학습의 자율성 및 유연한 학습활동 제공, 자기 주도적 학습환경 제공, 창의력 및 문제해결력 향상, 다양한 교수학습 활동 촉진, 교육의 장 확대를 위하여 범국가적인 차원에서 ICT교육을 실시하고 있다. ICT소양 교육에는 교사들에 대한 연수기회가 많고 멀티미디어 콘텐츠가 많이 개발되어 효과를 보고 있지만 ICT활용 교육은 다양한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 부족으로 교사들이 부담감을 가지고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 인식하여 ICT활용 교육에 바로 투입할 수 있는 2분 이내의 짧은 동영상 콘텐츠를 개발하고 이를 공개 CGI를 활용하여 VOD로 구현하였다. 아울러 10분 내외의 다큐멘터리 형식의 VOD로 방송학습이 이루어지도록 했으며, 동영상 콘텐츠 개발에 필요한 사전 지식 및 방송학습에 대한 올바른 인식을 갖게 하고자 텍스트 연수 자료도 함께 탑재하여 교실 수업 개선에 이바지하고자 하였다.

A Study on the Web-Based Instruction Using Flash (플래시를 이용한 웹기반 수업에 관한 고찰)

  • Web-based instruction is being developed as a new study model getting out of the traditional standardized education method. It is a new education tool which promotes learner-centered and cooperative study. Flash, as one of the most powerful web authoring tool can maximize the effectiveness of learning using computer graphic, animation, sounds and video. In this paper, we will look at developing and distributing education materials using flash and the efficient web-based instructions.

Improvement of basic Academic Skills for Junior College Students : Based on a Case Study of D College (전문대학 기초학습능력 향상 방안: D 대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • A lack of basic academic skills of junior college students has negatively impacted on the quality of vacational education and student dropout prevention, and yet it is true that there still are unclear alternatives or solutions to come up with that concern. As a way to find out the actual levels of basic academic skills of junior college students and educational efforts to improve these skills, the study investigated prior studies and benchmarked strengths and weaknesses of the related educational programs and supporting systems operated by ten junior colleges around the nation. Further, the study addressed emerging issues and challenges related to basic academic skills, based on the case study of D college. Major research methodologies included literature review, surveys for students and faculty members and focus-group interviews of faculty members in order to examine the states of students' basic academic skills in the area of language, in particular. Accordingly, the study proposed several suggestions with which educational practitioners could assist in supporting students to acquire improved basic academic skills(such as the development of a competence-based curriculum, implementation of reliable diagnosis tools and supporting educational systems for evaluating students' basic academic skills and upgrading of diverse teaching and learning resources and methods).

  • The digital textbook project which embarked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has focused on experiments and practices from the school designated by the government. However the previous research about digital textbook provides static interaction models and teaching-learning models analogous to web-based learning based desktop PC even the framework of the digital textbook is based of Tablet PC. This paper provides learning and teaching models for next generation digital textbook which based digital inking techinques for sketcth interface and AR(augmented reality) interactions between teacher and learner. The proposed method of this paper is applied to educational contents and we found positive effect which is supported by statistical experiments. The results of this study in the future and the future development of digital textbooks in effect will be an effective development plan.

The Influence of Instructor's Non-verbal Communication on College Student's Emotional Presence, Rapport and Learning Satisfaction (교수자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션이 대학생의 감성적 실재감, 라포 및 학습만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • Teaching and learning is based on communication between instructors and learners. In addition to instructor's verbal communication in the classrooms, non-verbal communication plays an important role. There is growing concerned about instructor's non-verbal communication affecting the learning process and learning outcomes. Based on the literature research student's emotional presence and rapport were used variables of learning process, and learning satisfaction was used as a variable of learning outcome to see the relationship of instructor's non-verbal communication. Data was collected from 378 students at A university in Gyeonggi-do and K university in Daejeon. The data was analyzed through structural equations modeling. As a result of the study, instructor's non-verbal communication had a positive impact on emotional presence and rapport. Emotional presence had a significant influence on rapport and learning satisfaction positively, and rapport had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Instructors should be able to recognize the role of non-verbal communication in the classes as well as be able to use it appropriately. This study could be used as basic data onto the use of non-verbal communication in university classrooms.

The Effect of e-Learning Application to the Unit of Making Short Trousers in Technology-Home Economics of Middle School (중학교 기술.가정교과의 반바지 만들기 단원에 대한 e-Learning 적용 효과)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of the e-Learning application on the teaching learning method in Technology-Home Economics of Middle School. For e-Learning of clothing part, diverse teaching programs and contents were reconstructed and provided in cyber-space. Among the uploaded diverse materials including advanced and supplementary materials, students could make a choice which depends on their own levels. Since the results of assignments could be uploaded in cyber-space and easily accessible to all students, the reliablity of estimation was increased and self-directed learning ability was improved. Also, more effective teaching learning activity could be expected through the mutual exchange of opinion between students and teacher, and among students. Besides, counselling and advices on overall aspect of student's life were also possible. The students were generally satisfied to e-Learning instruction. The interest and understanding about clothing part were increased, and the academic attitude and habit were positively changed. Also they responded that e-Learning instruction were very helpful because learning was possible even after school, diverse materials for learning were available, and submitting the results of assignments was very convenient. In conclusion, the application of e-Learning on the teaching learning method was very effective and should be encouraged. The development and supplement of diverse programs and contents will be necessary for more successful e-Learning instructions.

An Analysis of Learning Outcomes and Learning Satisfaction of Project-Based Learning in non-face-to-face Learning Environment (비대면 학습환경에서 프로젝트 기반 학습(Project-Based Learning: PBL) 학습성과 및 만족도 분석)

  • This study is the result of the operation of Project-Based Leaning (PBL) conducted at S Women's University's Teaching and Learning Center. This study investigated the learning outcomes and learning satisfaction of participating learners. The questionnaire for this study consisted of a total of 28 questions on learning strategies (peer learning strategies, critical review strategies, elaboration strategies, super cognitive, and online project activities) and learning satisfaction. For the survey, 300 students (first semester: 210 students, second semester: 90 students) participated in the 2020 project-based learning. As for the pre and post questionnaire results, the average of the post questionnaires of the first and second semesters was higher than pre-questionnaires result. After taking project-based learning in the first and second semesters, the average of learning strategy and learning satisfaction improved. It was confirmed that the project activities are helpful in learning activities and increase participation in class. Based on this, it implies that in-depth PBL research in a non-face-to-face learning environment should be continued.

  • 평생학습사회를 지향하는 교육정책이 고등교육의 변화를 강하게 요구하고 있다. 그 중심에 국가직무능력표준이 있으며, 교육과 산업현장에 필요한 역량을 체계적으로 개발하기 위한 노력이 다양하게 일어나고 있다. 본 논문은 NCS의 연구가 교육과정개발 사례에 초점을 두고 있는 한계점을 지적하며, 지속가능한 NCS의 운영을 위해 필요한 역량을 전문가인 교수자에 두고 논의한다. 이를 위해 교수자의 역할과 역량을 분석하고, 효율적인 직무역량을 갖추기 위해 필요한 자질을 인적자원개발(HRD)관점으로 제시하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and apply that teaching and learning methodology of motion image based on modified ASSURE model to improve creativity the competitive power of an information oriented society. To accomplish the end of this study, the following procedure and methods were performed. After the theoretical consideration about education visual image and creativity, we get to the bottom the connection of them. In the result of that, it designed plans for teaching and learning applied by modified ASSURE model. And it had larger efficiency to apply a creativity develop learning model when it spread out teaching and learning process to produce motion image. The main points of the result and the meaning are as follows. Firstly, in the light of the result of this study, student's creativity were enhanced to a large extent as applying this study. It appeared that the average of performance improved from 30.18 to 37.44. Such difference was t=-14.39 (p<0.05), which is a meaningful difference in terms of statistics. Secondly, it laid the foundations for being cultural prosumer as applying this study. Additionally, it anticipated that all the students join in this study become leader group in the age of digital media.
