Advances in science and technology have led the development of the times, and provide abundant technological means, new tools, and new angles of thought to art and new media, and become an important driving force for creativity and rigidity in art. This study, starting from the trend of convergence creativity between art and science and technology, focuses on the new characteristics of new media art, and combines examples of works in several areas such as characteristics. It has a certain reference value for understanding the characteristics of the times and its development trend to deeply grasp the current new media art while analyzing it in detail.

나는 미국에서 박사학위를 마친 후 연구대상이 되는 시료를 직접 만드는 것은 물론 만든 시료의 특성을 밝혀내기 위한 기기까지도 상품화된 기기를 모방하는 등 직접 만들어 사용했다. 귀국 후에도 여러 차례 재료를 만드는 작업을 했지만 실패와 좌절 끝에 개선된 전기로 MCT단결정 덩어리를 제작하는데 성공하게 되었다. 연구실 작업이 고뇌의 연속이라고 하지만 돌이켜 보건대 그것은 바로 예술이요, 예술적 작품인 것임을 알게 되었다.

For recently training the creative convergence talents, 'art education' is being greatly noted at home and abroad. In the meantime, this art education, which is being paid attention now as the educational trend of 'new alternative' in international society, has great difference in the aspect of objective, contents, and an operating method from the traditional art education in the past. Accordingly, this study analyzed and introduced the international art-education trend in a new concept, pointed out problems of art education as a part of activating the art education at elementary and middle schools, which is being driven now by the government, and of the integrated art education in the science technology field like STEAM, and suggested the desirable art-education orientation direction of satisfying the historical and social needs hereafter.

발레에 대해 문외한인 사람들조차 그 선율은 들어봤을 정도로 <백조의 호수>는 유명한 작품이다. 차이콥스키의 서정적인 바이올린 선율은 매우 아름다원 신화의 'T.O.P'와 같은 대중음악에서도 샘플링 할 정도이다. 하지만 단지 음악만 아름다웠다면 이 음악을 듣고 사람들이 하얀색 튀튀(tutu)를 입은 발레리나의 모습을 떠올리진 않을 것이다. <백조의 호수>는 음악과 인체로 표현할 수 있는 아름다움의 극치를 보여주는 발레 작품이기 때문에 사람들의 뇌리에 깊이 각인된 것이다. 오늘날 클래식 발레가 환상적인 예술로 거듭날 수 있게 된 데에는 수많은 예술가의 노력과 함께 과학의 뒷받침이 있었기에 가능한 것이다. 인간의 한계를 초월하기 위해 스포츠 과학의 힘이 필요하듯 인체 예술의 극한을 보여주기 위해 발레에도 과학이 필요한 것이다.

One of the reasons behind the surfacing of such issues is because the record does not exist and even if the records remained, it is because they are not being properly managed. In Korea, National institutions in the field of visual arts, currently there are no archives that manage only the records for the visual arts as an independent institution, and the reality is that the National Museum of Archives is still in the beginning stage as well. This study has conducted a research on the records collection strategy and the management of the record information of an author who is the creator of the visual arts as a starting point of the visual arts. For this purpose, the definition of visual arts and the concept of an author covered in this study will be examined and the types of documentary that may occur in the field of visual arts were analyzed. In addition, the history of an author is its personal record thus a personal history and private archive have been examined. Based on this background, the cases on the personal record and the management of the record information of domestic and foreign authors were analyzed and the implications were derived.

The rapidly changing 21st-century knowledge and information society is emphasizing converged education that crosses various academic fields. In particular, the society expected the cultivation of the talent who balance scientific creativity and artistic sensitivity by adding arts to the existing converged education revolving around science and technology. However, at present, most STEAM education has been actively conducted with a focus on science and technology, whereas the subject of arts has been regarded or utilized as a supplementary means. Its problem is that the educational characteristics and values of art education have not been effectively utilized in educational terms and this could lead to superficial integrated education. In this respect, this study had the knowledge of various fields, such as science, technology, and mathematics, utilized usefully during the process of experiencing and creating arts. Accordingly, this study designed an education programs as with the case of Nam-Jun Baek who expanded the dominion of arts by creatively utilizing his own time's scientific technologies. In this educational process, the target program was developed in a manner that enables EPL to be utilized essentially as the study's knowledge-based tool and medium. The results of applying this educational program in 5th-grade elementary school students showed that the program has positive effects on the creative attributes of the students.
