  • This study was purposed on revealing the connections between blood types and brain functions or correlation character among Junior and Highschool students. Observed records are from those kids who volunteered for KRIJUS(Korea Research Institute of Jungshin Science)'s brain wave measurement from September 2005 to December 2008. The whole 2208 Junior and Highschool studentskids group consists of junior 628 female, 1002 male and high 213 female, 365 male. Blood types are as follows A>B>O>AB dominately ordered. Second, blood type had no relations with corelation character. Third, blood type had no relations with brain function rate. Thus, it would not be such a wise decision to tell one's character depending on his/her blood type.

  • With the help of the advancements in information and communication, information appliances are changing. Flat panels made it possible for information appliances to become smaller in size and lighter in weight, and high end graphics provide increase in realistic and immersive use. Even with these advancements interest in design for laboratory equipment tend to only stay on a level of the exterior of the equipment, not to the point of designing the interface of display GUI. Inspired with the problem above this research would contain the preference analysis ondisplay GUI design considering the characteristics of the main users and the laboratory equipment itself. The test would be held through comparison of graphic-based display GUI and text-based display GUI and analyzing the task time and number of errors made, looking for which display GUI scientist prefer. The test results show that text-based GUI has a higher efficiency but the actual users preferred the graphic-based display GUI.

  • For the study, 366 copies of questionnaire were distributed among and collected from Korean women in their 20s to 60s between April and May 2016. To investigate the utility of anti-oxidant beers that contain extracts of natural substance respectively, the anti-oxidantive activity were measured and preference for anti-oxidant craft beers was surveyed among the subjects. The result suggested that the subjects had positive perception toward drinking, Korean adult women highly prefer beer among different types of alcoholic beverage, and the form of drinking changed according to the stamina, mood, situation, place, and company. Also, natural substance extracts showed high levels of antioxidant effects and, in the survey on preference for craft beers, the aronia group scored higher than other groups. The findings in this study suggest, for Korean adult women, beer with anti-oxidant ingredients can be beneficial for skin and overall health. Also, the findings can be used as basic data related to drinking among adult women and development of anti-oxidant beer. The Journal of Digital Policy & Management. • The purpose of this study is to find out the differences (if any) and the causes of preferences for science between elementary school boys and girls. Another purpose of this study is to find out when such differences in preference begin and what their causes we. Fourth, fifth and sixth grades from elementary school A in Gyeongg-gi Province participated twice in research surveys on preference levels in science with education, career course and personal experience taken into account. A total of 997 survey responses, (excluding no responses or half-hearted ones) were selected for comparative analysis. The analysis methods used were frequency analysis, cross stabs and one-way ANOVA Analysis which depended on survey items. The results of this study show that preference levels in science are 61.7% and the difference of preference levels in science between boys and girls are 31.2% and 30.5% with boys showing higher percentages in science preference levels than girls(p<.01). Moreover, the results also show that the point in which changes in preference level in science emerges is from fifth and sixth grades. Therefore, the gender difference in preference levels in science begins with fifth grade students, with science being slightly more favored by boys. finally, the main causes in gender differences seems to be the experiment participants' levels, scientific education textbook preference level, interests in science class, and plans for the future that are related to field of science. Among these causes, interests level in science class and preference levels in science are closely related.

  • Recently K-Pop gained worldwide sensational popularity, no longer limited to the domestic pop music scene. One of the main causes can be that K-Pop mostly are "Hook Song" which has the "hook effect": a certain melody or/and rhythm is repeated up to 70 times in one song so that it hooks the ear of the listener. Also, visual effects by K-Pop dance group are supposed to contribute to gaining the popularity. In this paper, we propose a method which traces the changes of preference for Korean pop music according to the passing of time and investigates the causes using acoustic signal analysis. For this, experiments in acoustic signal analysis are performed on Korean pop music of from popular female singers in 1960s to those as of this date. Experimental results by applying acoustic signal processing techniques show that the periods discrimination is possible based on scientific evidences. Also, quantitative, objective and numerical data based on acoustic signal processing techniques are extracted compared with the pre-existing methods such as subjective and statistical data.
