Analysis of Test Items and the Applicants' Responses on the Chemistry Part in the General Science of College Scholastics Ability Test (대학수학능력시험 공통과학 중 화학 영역의 문항 및 응시자 응답 분석)

  • In this study, the students' responses on the chemistry items of in the general science of College Scholastics Ability Test (CSAT) implemented for the past 3 years since 1999 were investigated. The number of items by content and inquiry process, the average percent correct by content and inquiry process, the distribution of items by the level of percent correct, and the items with high and/or low percent correct were analysed. There were the fewest items in 'environment' area, especially in 'ozon layer', no test item had been made. The most difficult content area was 'acid rain' in 'environment'. By inquiry process, the most number of items belonged to 'analyzing & interpreting data', and 'identifying problems & formulating hypothesis' was the most difficult process. No test item came under the level of 'very difficult', and many items under the 'easy' or 'very easy' level. Students were generally poor at solving test items demanding several concepts, and very good at simply requiring basic concept treated in lower grade. Educational implications are discussed.

  • CEC, 근접방어무기체계, 지휘통제체계 등에 사용되는 위협평가시스템은 자동위협평가, 방어구역 위협지수, 무기할당 등의 공통된 기능을 포함하고 있고, 시스템 환경의 변화 또는 성능 향상에 따라 수시로 업그레이드가 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 생산성 향상과 중복투자 방지로 인한 비용감소 효과를 거둘 수 있는 제품계열 방법론을 위협평가시스템 개발에 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 위협평가시스템의 제품계열 방법론 적용을 위해 핵심자산 개발 프로세스를 수행하여 제품계열 영역지정, 핵심자산, 제품계획을 정의한다. 제품계열 영역지정은 Feature 모델링을 이용하여 공통점과 차이점을 식별하고, 핵심자산은 아키텍처 설계 중심으로, 그리고 각 핵심자산의 부착 프로세스를 종합하여 제품계획을 수립한다.

An Analysis of STS Contents in the General Science Textbooks(Chemistry Parts) of High School (공통과학 교과서 화학영역의 STS 내용 분석)

  • The STS contents, emphasized in the 6th curriculum, in the chemistry parts of general science textbooks were analyzed. The STS contents of textbooks showed average of 24.4%. The chapter in "modern science and technology" were included 45.5% in STS contents, 38.7% in "environment", 29.1% in energy, and 14.0% in "materials". When the STS contents were analyzed by STS topics of Piel, the results are as follows; 38.3% on environmental quality and utilization of natural source, 29.6% on effect of technological developments, 7.9% on energy, and 0.6% on human engineering. However, there were no topics on population, space research and national defense. When the STS contents were analyzed by student activities of SATIS, most of the activities were research and case study. There were few field activities of role play, problem solving and decision making, and research design.

Depth Upsampler Using Color and Depth Weight (색상정보와 깊이정보 가중치를 이용한 깊이영상 업샘플러)

  • In this paper, we present an upsampling technique for depth map image using color and depth weights. First, we construct a high-resolution image using the bilinear interpolation technique. Next, we detect a common edge region using RGB color space, HSV color space, and depth image. If an interpolated pixel belongs to the common edge region, we calculate weighting values of color and depth in $3{\times}3$ neighboring pixels and compute the cost value to determine the boundary pixel value. Finally, the pixel value having minimum cost is determined as the pixel value of the high-resolution depth image. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves good performance in terns of PSNR comparison and subjective visual quality.

  • 최근 IT를 포함한 모든 산업 및 기술 영역에서는 포준화 활동을 기반으로 하여 융복합화(Convergence) 현상이 두드러지고 있다. 이는 또한 e-Learning 산업 및 기술에서도 큰 화두이다. 현재 e-Learning 표준화에서 시장에서 주도권을 행사하고 있는 것은 ADL의 SCORM 규격이다. 데이터방송 영역에서는, 북미에서 지상파와 케이블 TV간 콘텐츠 호환성 확보를 위해 ATSC와 케이블랩(CableLabs)이 공동 연구 중인 ACAP을 통해서 지상파-케이블 공통 표준화가 진행중이다. 이에 본 논문은 3-Learning 산업 및 기술에서의 융복합화의 일 영역으로 그리고 방송통신융합서비스의 일환으로 인터넷 기반 학습 환경과 TV 기반 학습 환경에서의 학습 콘텐츠 ( 및 코스웨어) 상호운용성에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 인터넷 기반의 e-Learning의 사실상의 표준으로 받아들여지고 있는 SCORM 규격과 DTV 환경 기반의 데이터방송 지상파-케이블 공통 규격인 ACAP간의 상호운용 API 개발을 통하여, SCORM 규격과 ACAP 규격의 상호운용성을 가능하게 하는 학습 콘텐츠 및 T-Learning 운용환경을 연구$\cdot$개발하였다.

Global Common Knowledge and Skills in Elementary Mathematics (국제 공통의 초등 수학 내용 요소 추출)

  • The purpose of this study was to specify knowledge and skills that are expected to be learned by students worldwide at the elementary level of Mathematics. This was achieved by extracting knowledge and skills commonly expected to know and perform in elementary school level by analyzing elementary math curriculum of twelve countries that vary geographically and economically. Based on the data gathered and analyzed, the common domains extracted from this study in elementary level Mathematics include Number and Operations, Geometry, Measurement and Data. And knowledge and skills that children are expected to achieve in each domain by the end of primary school were listed. This research showed that for elementary level Mathematics, the majority of the curricula had the commonalities in Number and Operations, Geometry, Measurement and Data. Though this study had the limitations of analyzing curriculum documents open to public, this study will offer the ground for discussion on the elementary mathematics education in a global context.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide statistical analysis based suggestions on effective methods to take advantage of social network service (SNS) for educational purposes based on investigations of undergraduate students with high utilization of SNS. To achieve this, we conducted an open questionnaire survey and qualitatively analyzed the data using NVivo 10 program. Additionally, to visualize the analysis by education subject of the SNS educational methods, we have divided the data into 3 categories of teacher, student and common area. As a result, our analysis showed that the exchange opinions and discussions, information sharing and learning of contents of questions and answers, surveys, intimacy formation, counseling etc. were of the common area. Furthermore, teacher area included the notice announcement, teaching materials sharing, real-time assessment (quiz), attendance check, assignment grading and feedback, etc. Finally the student area was of project activities (group/individual), prepare and review the shared data, video self learning, peer review and feedback of projects, lecture evaluation, etc.

The Educational Significance of Place Experience through Folklore (설화를 통한 장소 경험의 융합교육적 의의 -청주 지역 전승의 <지네 장터> 설화를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of fusion education is to acquire educational contents efficiently and gain a new worldview. To realize this purpose, I point out that it is urgent to provide common educational content and suggest "place experience" as common content for literature and geography. Local legends present a concrete space and a sharp confrontation with the human world, while shaping the tradition of a place's name. Place experience as common educational content enables a three-dimensional experience of a place that utilizes the characteristics of these local legends. The physical condition, human activity, and implied meaning of a place mediate the student's empirical understanding of folktales. The common area of "place experience" allows us to expect a stereotypical understanding of a learner's place by providing a literary context to learning contents that can flow from the existing geography subject to the simple provision of information. In addition, it facilitates learners' empirical understanding by providing actual and specific objects to learning contents, which can flow abstractly in the existing literature subject. Through this discussion, convergence education demonstrates educational significance by achieving educational efficiency through common educational content and enabling the formation of new thinking.

A Study on Color Image Grouping Method based on Color Objects (객체가 있는 칼라 영상에 대찰 객체별 그룹핑 방법에 대한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 객체가 포함되어 있는 칼라 영상들의 집합으로부터 유사한 시각적 특징을 가진 캑체를 공통적으로 포함하는 영상들을 추출하여, 전체 영상들을 소수의 그룹으로 묶을 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 영상에 포함된 객체는 주로 영상의 내부 위치에 나타난다는 사실에 착안하여, 영상의 경계와 접하지 않는 비경계 영역들을 병합하여 객체가 포함된 영역으로 간주한다. 그러나, 병합된 내부 영역에는 객체가 아닌 영역들도 포함하고 있을 수 있으므로, 칼라 히스토그램만을 이용하여 내부 영역에 대한 특징으로 이용한다. 이러한 내부 영역의 칼라 특징들이 분포하는 형상을 분석하여 밀집도가 높은 클러스터를 그룹으로 추출한다. 이때, 밀집도는 일반적으로 사용하는 공간적인 분포 대신에 히스토그램 인터섹션에 의한 유사도를 이용하여 정의한다. 즉, 서로 유사도가 놓은 것들이 집중되어 분포되어 있는 경우에 밀집도가 높은 클러스터로 간주하여 추출하는 방법을 사용한다. 클러스터의 형상 및 개수를 자동적으로 결정할 수 있는 방법도 제안한다. 실험에 의해, 추출한 클러스터의 칼라 영상들이 동일한 객체를 포함하고 있음을 알 수 있었으나, 향후 보다 안정화된 방법의 개발이 필요하다. 아울러, 클러스터별로 객체의 의미를 부여할 수 있는 방법론의 개발도 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
