This paper proposes a secure and efficient handover authentication protocol in VANET supporting fast mobility. Although the existing schemes commonly use the hash function or XOR operation to be suitable for a light-weight mobile, it does not support the security feature such as PBS. To solve this security problem, another protocol utilizing the CGA technology is proposed but it is vulnerable to the DoS attack due to a number of exponent operations. The proposed protocol using a light-weight Diffie-Hellman provides security features and performs a reduced number of exponential operation at the MN than the existing scheme.

Security over VANET among vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructures has been studied. Through the research, ensuring the message authentication and confidentiality was possible. However, authentication on drivers and vehicles were not actively covered. Once, malicious user using illegal vehicle joins VANET and then generates mistaken information, other drivers' safety will be driven to crisis. For this reason, in the paper, we present a novel authentication method between drivers and vehicles and then only right vehicles and users can participate in VANET. As a result of this, drivers can enjoy their safe and comfortable trip.

We propose a novel authentication protocol for wireless mesh network. The proposed authentication protocol is based on the password scheme for convenience of users. The proposed protocol is evaluated through three analyses. The correctness of the proposed protocol is proved using the GNY analysis. By the security analysis, we show that the proposed protocol is resistant to various attacks. For the performance analysis, we implemented the protocol in Linux operating system based laptop and measured the transmission time. The analytic results show that the proposed protocol provides the secure wireless mesh network without considerable performance degradation.

The software installed on an aircraft is directly related to its safety. Therefore, it shall comply with the standards of the airworthiness certification to ensure safety of flight. Airborne software should be developed in accordance with the DO-178 (Software Consideration in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification) to comply with the airworthiness certification criterion. However, the military airborne software has been developed in accordance with the DAPA weapons system software development and management manual. In this paper, we completed a questionnaire survey of software experts. We also suggest a military airborne software development/certification process based on DO-178.

스마트폰의 사용자 증가로 인한 스마트폰의 성장과 더불어 제 3 자 개발자들이 개발한 애플리케이션이 오픈 마켓에 등록되면서, 오픈 마켓의 시장 규모가 급속히 증가하고 있다. 하지만 제 3 자 개발자는 보안 관점에서 신뢰 할 수 없는 개체이며, 이들이 개발한 애플리케이션은 악의적 또는 개발자 실수에 의해 보안 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 따라서 스마트폰과 같은 디바이스와, 앱스토어, 제 3 자 개발자 간에 인증이 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 기존의 사설 인증 시스템에 인증서 소유 검증 모듈과 인증서 유효성 검증 모듈을 추가하고, 시스템의 확장성과 관리를 용이하게 만들기 위해 Web 기반의 사설 인증 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다.

IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)는 신속하고 안전한 이동성 서비스를 위하여 네트워크 자원의 사용을 안전하게 하고 법적으로 보장하는 핵심기술 같은 많은 의미있는 작업들을 해오고 있으며 기존의 MIPv6(Mobile IPv6)에서 핸드오버 지연과 시그널링 오버헤드 같은 문제를 보완하기 위하여 HMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile IPv6)를 제안하였다. 현재 HMIPv6에 관한 연구의 대부분은 HMIPv6와 AAA(Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) 프로토콜 사이의 상호작용 절차를 최적화하기 위한 방법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 해당 논문에서는 AAA 절차에서 인증대기를 최소화하는데 중점을 둔 비용효율적인 계층 인증 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서는 MAP(Mobility Anchor Point)에 배포되어진 AAA 서버들, 그리고 홈 도메인 안에 있는 AAA 서버를 대신하는 브로커들의 계층적 AAA 아키텍처를 제안한다. 이 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 기법이 이전의 전통적인 인증 조합 모델링과 비교하여 핸드오프 지연과 인증대기 시간이 상당히 줄어들었음을 보여준다.

Password authentication schemes (PAS) are the most common mechanisms used to ensure secure communication in open networks. Mathematical-based cryptographic authentication schemes such as factorization and discrete logarithms have been proposed and provided strong security features, but they have the disadvantage of high computational and message transmission costs required to construct passwords. Fairuz et al. therefore argued for an improved cryptographic authentication scheme based on two difficult fixed issues related to session key consent using the smart card scheme. However, in this paper, we have made clear through security analysis that Fairuz et al.'s protocol has security holes for Privileged Insider Attack, Lack of Perfect Forward Secrecy, Lack of User Anonymity, DoS Attack, Off-line Password Guessing Attack.

실내공기오염 문제가 미국, 유럽, 일본 등 선진국을 중심으로 고조되면서, 최근 국내에서도 이 문제에 대해 적극적으로 논의되기 시작하였으며, 정부관련기관 및 연구기관을 중심으로 대책마련을 위한 관계법령의 정비 및 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그 구체적인 법령으로 작년(2003. 5. 29)에 환경부에서 고시한 "지하생활공간공기질관리법개정안(다중이용시설 등의 실내공기질관리법)"을 들 수 있으며, 이 법안에서는 실내공기질 유지기준 및 권고기준, 실내 공기질 공정시험법 등에 대해 공고하고 있다. 또한 건축자재에서 발생하는 오염물질에 관해서도 규정을 하고 있다. 이에 국내에서도 생산된 건축자재에 대해 포름알데히드, TVOC 방출강도를 평가, 등급화 하는 인증제도가 도입되어 있으며, 평가/분석을 실시하는 인증시험기관도 이미 몇 군데 지정되어 있는 상태이다.
