Development of Reliable Object Space using JACE group communication system (JACE그룹통신시스템을 이용한 신뢰성 있는 공유객체공간의 개발)

  • 인터넷과 네트웍 기술의 급속한 성장에 따라 간단하고 효율적이며, 관리가 용이한 분산 어플리케이션의 필요성이 증대되었다. 이러한 요구사항을 만족시키기 위하여 네트워크 상에 분산되어 있는 자원, 서비스 및 객체의 공유와 이들 사이의 통신을 일관된 방법으로 지원하는 튜플스페이스(Tuple space) 시스템들이 제안되었다. 그러나, 기존의 시스템들은 서버를 통한 중앙 집중적인 공유공간(shared space) 구조를 가지고 있으므로 서버의 실패(crash)나 네트워크의 분할(partition)과 같은 전산망의 결함이 발생하였을 경우 지속적인 서비스를 제공할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서는 특정 목적에 따라 그룹화된 공유공간의 생성이 가능하고 객체를 관련노드에 중복(replication)해서 저장할 수 있는 튜플스페이스 시스템인 ObjectSpace의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 설명한다. ObjectSpace는 객체를 공유하기 위하여 공유공간에 객체를 저장하는 기능과 공유된 객체를 조회하는 기능을 제공한다. 중복된 객체들에 대하여 일관성을 유지하기 위하여 그룹을 지원하는 JACE 그룹통신시스템을 하부구조로 사용하여 구현하였다.

  • KMS에서 지식전달 및 지식공유를 위한 커뮤니케이션 도구는 필수적인 요소지만 현재 국내 KMS에서 채택하고 있는 비실시간, 혹은 문자 중심의 커뮤니케이션 도구로는 지식전달 및 공유를 위한 조직원간의 커뮤니케이션 활성화가 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 KMS의 커뮤니케이션 활성화를 위한 실시간 멀티미디어 인스턴트 메신저의 역할을 제시하였다. 제시된 KMS용 실시간 멀티미디어 시스템은 화상/음성통신, 문자/그래픽통신, 화이트보드통신, 화면공유, 그리고 에스코티드 브라우징과 같은 다양한 커뮤니케이션 방법을 제공하기 때문에 조직원간의 지식공유/전달, 공동작업, 그리고 사용자 편리성 및 접근성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. A Study on the Factors of Shared Accommodation Services

  • This study explore the perceived differences of factors influencing the shared accommodation in China, and the influencing paths of consumers' use of shared accommodation. This paper collects the questionnaire survey of the Chinese shared accommodation user and applies method of Amos V23.0. The results showed that perceived usefulness and perceived pleasure had positive effects on trust, and they also have indirect positive effects on perceived intention through trust, while perceived risk and perceived ease of use had no significant effects on trust. The conclusion is helpful to promote the long-term development of sharing accommodation companies by satisfying the needs of consumers from the point of view of consumers.

Impact of tie strength on knowledge sharing: Focusing on the moderating effect of environmental uncertainty (유대강도가 지식공유에 미치는 영향: 환경불확실성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to investigate how tie strength in business networks affects successful knowledge sharing, as well as the impact of environmental uncertainty on the relationship between knowledge sharing and tie strength. We gathered data through a questionnaire-based survey of 310 employees affiliated with a high-technology industry in Korea. The results highlighted the positive influence of strong ties on tacit knowledge sharing and weak ties on explicit knowledge sharing. Additionally, in this study, we determine that strong ties are strengthened to share tacit knowledge with exchange parties when environmental uncertainty is high, whereas weak ties may remain unaffected by environmental uncertainty. This study contributes to the literature on tie strength and knowledge sharing by applying social capital theory to a high-technology industry. The findings suggest that firms must take advantage of strong and weak ties to facilitate knowledge sharing to enhance competency, create novel knowledge, and obtain a competitive advantage.

  • As knowledge management is recognized as an important competency of organizations, organizations are continuously investing in knowledge management policies and technologies. Knowledge management preemptively requires employees to share knowledge, but sharing activities for continuous knowledge management have not been performed. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the organization's mutual exchange efforts through collaborative communication on the knowledge sharing intention of its employees. The study surveyed workers of organizations that operate knowledge management policies and verified the research hypothesis by applying 326 samples to structural equation modeling. As a result of the analysis, factors of collaborative communication(rationality, reciprocal feedback, formality) had a positive effect on the intention to share knowledge, and task interdependence and territoriality had a moderating effect on the relationship between collaborative communication and intention to share knowledge. The study has implications in terms of suggesting an activity strategy that an organization should pursue to improve knowledge sharing among its employees.

Analyzing the Interdependent Role of Network Centrality, Motivation and Ability in Knowledge Sharing (네트워크 중심성, 자율적 동기, 그리고 능력 간의 상호의존적 관계가 지식공유에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In the context of knowledge sharing, network position has been a controversial subject. A central position in the network provides access to non-redundant knowledge, leading to more opportunities of knowledge sharing. On the other hand, as "bridging" relationships, its characteristics as a "weak tie" suggest innate lack of trust and reciprocity which is considered an impediment to share knowledge. This paper attempts to enlighten the underlying dynamic by examining the interaction between network centrality, motivation and ability in knowledge sharing. Furthermore, this paper examines the concept of knowledge sharing ability in depth by operationalizing the construct into three aspects: extensive and diverse knowledge, social media utilization ability and self-efficacy. The results show a partially supported three-way interaction, where the highest level of knowledge provision is reported when the employee has low network centrality, high autonomous motivation and high knowledge sharing ability, i.e. extensive and diverse prior knowledge. Though all models indicate strong associations between network centrality and knowledge sharing, this suggests an even greater power of motivation and ability that gives the strength to overcome unfavorable environments of peripheral position. Therefore, this paper offers an alternative explanation to the existing debate whether network centrality positively or negatively influences knowledge sharing.

The Study of Communication and Knowledge Sharing Processes for Start-up Teams Agility under Task Conflict (과업 갈등상황에서 스타트업 팀의 민첩성 향상을 위한 의사소통과 지식공유 프로세스에 관한 연구)

  • Startup teams should be prompt to seize an business opportunity and handle various business problems with which they has not been faced before. This research examines and compares the hypotheses about the processes of communication media usage, knowledge sharing and team agility by the level of task conflict. In order for detailed investigation, each of antecedent was divided into sub-dimensions: communication media usage into synchronous and asynchronous media usage, and knowledge sharing into speed and quantity of knowledge sharing. Team agility, the dependent variable, was proposed as an important success factor of startup teams. The research model describes that the communication media usage affects knowledge sharing and consequently team agility. The differences of media usage and relationships among variables were proposed as the level of task conflict in teams. 230 data points were collected from startup teams under 5 years and statistically processed to test research model and hypotheses. From the total sample analysis, the results indicate that the knowledge sharing speed is positively associated with the quantity, and the knowledge sharing speed and quantity have positive associations with team agility. Both synchronous and asynchronous communication media usage also has significant positive associations with knowledge sharing speed. On the other hand, media usage did not show significant direct association with knowledge sharing quantity. From the group comparisons of task conflict, it was found that the higher task conflict, the higher in media usage, knowledge sharing speed and quantity, and team agility. The process of media usage, knowledge sharing, and team agility were found to be different between the high and low task conflict. From these results, the authors discussed and proposed some implications for startup team leaders.

Critical Literature Review on Exposure Assessment Methods for Metalworking Fluids in Epidemiological Cancer Study (금속가공유 노출과 암 발생위험역학조사에서 금속가공유 노출 평가 방법에 대한 고찰)

  • 그 동안 많은 역학연구를 통해서 금속가공유(metalworking fluid, MWFs) 노출과 여러 조직에서 암 발생 위험과의 관계를 밝혔지만, 금속가공유 종류(비수용성, 수용성, 합성, 준합성)별로 구분된 위험은 아직 완전하게 규명되지 않았다. 역학조사에서 금속가공유 노출을 대체할 수 있는 인자(surrogate)로서 정성적(qualitative), 명목적(ordinal) 혹은 준정량적인(semi-quantitative) 변수들(금속가공유에 대한 노출 유무, 노출 정도: 높음, 낮음 등, 직업 유무, 근무기간 등)을 이용하여 금속가공유 노출을 평가하였다. 이러한 노출평가방법은 기본적으로 금속가공유 노출 강도(intensity)가 고려되지 않을 뿐만 아니라 노출 분류 오류(misclassification)도 항상 존재할 수 있어 금속가공유 노출은 물론이고 종류별 위험을 밝히기 어렵다. 일부 역학연구에서 금속가공유 종류별 누적 노출양(cumulative exposure level)과 암위험과의 관계를 밝혔다. 이러한 연구결과들은 모두 금속가공유 종류별로 과거노출을 추정할 수 있는 자료(정량적인 노출평가자료, 과거직업력, 취급했던 금속가공유 종류 등)가 잘 기록되어 있는 1개의 대규모 자동차공장에서 나온 것들이다. 따라서 금속가공유에 대한 노출자료가 부족하고 사용특성에 대한 기록이 없거나 부족한 일반 인구나 산업을 대상으로 한 역학연구에서는 금속가공유의 종류별 위험을 밝히는것은 불가능하다. 금속가공유 종류별로 과거 노출에 대한 확률(probability)을 추정하는데 일반적으로 활용할 수 있는 노출확률 메트릭스를 개발하는 것이 필요하다.

Object-Size and Call-Site Tracing based Shared Memory Allocator for False Sharing Reduction in DSM Systems (분산 공유 메모리 시스템에서 거짓 공유를 줄이는 객체-크기 및 호출지-추적 기반 공유 메모리 할당 기법)

  • False sharing is a result of co-location of unrelated data in the same unit of memory coherency, and is one source of unnecessary overhead being of no help to keep the memory coherency in multiprocessor systems. Moreover, the damage caused by false sharing becomes large in proportion to the granularity of memory coherency. To reduce false sharing in page-based DSM systems, it is necessary to allocate unrelated data objects that have different access patterns into the separate shared pages. In this paper we propose sized and call-site tracing-based shared memory allocator, shortly SCSTallocator. SCSTallocator places each data object requested from the different call-sites into the separate shared pages, and at the same time places each data object that has different size into different shared pages. Consequently data objects that have the different call-site and different object size prohibited from being allocated to the same shared page. Our observations show that our SCSTallocator outperforms the existing dynamic shared memory allocators. By combining the two existing allocation technique, we can reduce a considerable amount of false sharing misses.

  • 금융기관의 경쟁력을 창출하기 위해서는 전 임직원들의 경쟁력 마인드와 업무현장의 실제적인 경험에서 우러나온 노하우, 은행내외에서 생산되어 유통되고 있는 명시적 지식정보 등을 서로 공유할 수 있는 조직문화가 갖추어져야 한다. 여기에 지식정보관리의 중요성에 대한 인식과 발상전환이 이루어져야 한다. 이 연구는 지식정보관리에 대한 중요성을 중심으로 국내 은행들의 지식정보공유에 대한 영향과 그 인식수준의 다양성을 조사하고 분석하여 은행에서의 바람직한 지식정보공유의 당위성을 은행의 역할과 개선방안 측면에서 모색해 보고자 한다.
