  • 최근 도시화가 급격히 진행되면서 도심 공간의 효율적인 이용을 위하여 지하공간의 개발이 새로운 대안으로 주목 받고 있다. 지하공간은 일반적으로 건축 구조상 자연채광의 유입이 불가능한 구조로서 지하 거주자의 심리적, 환경적 문제를 초래하므로 이의 활성화를 위해서는 공간의 질적 제고가 선행되어야 한다. 빛과 조명은 공간의 질을 결정하는 중요한 요소로서 거주자를 위해 건강하고 편안한 환경을 제공하기 위해서는 거주자의 생체리듬과 부합하는 자연광과 유사한 광 환경(색온도, 조도) 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 본 논문은 지하공간을 대상으로 인공조명의 광 환경을 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화하는 자연의 빛과 유사하게 서비스하기 위한 LED제어시스템을 개발한다.

A Study on Multichannel Format Conversion and Representation of Spatial Sound Information (다채널 포맷 변환과 공간적인 입체 음향 정보의 효과적인 유지에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, the algorithms for multichannel format conversion and robust representation of spatial sound information are proposed. In the spatial analysis, the directional information of sound source is estimated and sound sources are separated from stereo signal. In the spatial resynthesis, the multichannel matrixing with spatial repanning and post-scaling method are applied to represent a spatial sound. The conventional method about channel format conversion has the problem that the energy of sound source and the spatial information are not preserved in the desired channel format. Because the proposed method is designed in consideration of the target multichannel format and its resynthesized signal, the robust representation of spatial sound can be achieved in the multichannel format conversion.

  • In the face of the new dimension of the developed technology $L{\acute{a}}szl{\acute{o}}$ Moholy-Nagy, a master of 'the Bauhaus Akademie', made an effort to constitute the integrated life of the intellectual and the emotional by translating the experiences of the new technology Into the emotional language and the cultural realities. As an artist who criticized in the constructivist ethos the conception of the image as the imitation and brought the Image movements into relief Moholy-Nagy groped for a new expressive idea that can be called as 'the idea of the non-representational spatial expression' in which the expressive elements interact one another. His idea of the non-representational spatial expression that is made up of the pure forms of the nature, the direct colors and the spatial elements is oriented to incorporate the modern realities, i.e. the space experiences as the complicated sensory workings and the new technology as the measure of the human thinking, and further to see where they will move to. This study is on the one hand purposed to explicate the fundamental idea of the non-representational spatial expression that was poorly illuminated in spite of its importance in the respects of the design and art history, on the other to re-actualize the implications of the space-design which are contained in it.

The Study of Simulation for Reproduce Accidents of Narrow Dwelling Space (협소 거주공간 사고 재현을 위한 시뮬레이션 연구)

  • In this study, the fire analysis program FDS and Pathfinder was used to analysis a simulated accidental fire of a narrow dwelling space as a test bed. The results showed that the evacuation time of the H form internal building structure was the fastest at 285 seconds. In addition, when the automatic sprinkler system functioned with the entrances closed, the temperature distribution was lower and the visible smoke density was reduced.

  • 강우의 관측망 확장과 위성 자료 및 기후 모델을 이용한 격자 단위자료가 개발 및 보급됨에 따라 다양한 자료의 분야별 활용성에 대한 연구의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지역 기후 모델 산출물의 오차 보정을 위한 격자 관측자료의 활용성을 평가하였다. 또한 통합 분포형 수문모델을 이용하여, 보정한 기후모델 결과의 수문 모의를 위한 기후 입력 자료로써의 적합성을 검토하였다. 보정된 결과는 각 관측자료의 월별 평균 강우량과 공간 분포를 비교적 잘 재현하였다. 한편 연강우량 시계열에 있어 그 양상은 잘 재현된 가운데 보정되지 않은 오차를 일부 포함하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 점 관측자료로부터 추정된 시험 지역내 172개 소유역에 대한 일평균 강우량 자료와 비교해 볼 때 관측자료의 형식이나 정확성보다 기후모델의 불확실성에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다. 수문 모의 결과, 격자 자료를 이용하여 보정한 강우 입력자료는 수문 모델의 검보정에 이용된 소유역 단위 강우 자료를 이용한 결과에 상응하는 활용성을 보여주었다. 또한 강우의 공간 분포를 고려하지 않고, 시험유역 전체에 대한 평균 강우량을 입력 자료로 이용한 결과를 통해 기후 자료의 공간 분포와 관측 밀도의 중요성을 확인하였다.

A New Microwave Imaging Technique Using a Coherent Tomographic Scheme in Space Domain (공간영역에서 코히어런트 단층촬영 기법을 이용한 새로운 초고주파 영상방법)

  • The microwave imaging technique which is mostly analyzed in the spectral domain has been exploited the image reconstruction of object using the 2-dimensional inverse Fourier transform so far. In this paper, a new method of microwave imaging corresponding to a coherent tomographic scheme in the space domain is presented for the conducting objects. Also, it is shown that image reconstruction for lines targets and conducting circular cylinder is per-formed by computer simulation using the filtered-backprojection which is the reconstruction algorithm widely used in X-ray CT. The proposed method analyzed in the space domain can reconstruct the image without any problems such as interpolation and image artifact which results from the reconstruction in the spectral domain for the symmetric conducting objects located in the origin. The image reconstructed by the filtered-backprojection in the space domain has given the superior quality compared with that produced by 2-dimensional IFFT using the interpolation scheme in the spectral domain. Finally, the image of line targets using the moment-method in the space domain which does not require the wide-band signal as the spectral domain has shown a possibility of super-resolution in the microwave imaging.

The Characteristics of Traditional Representation in the Artist's Garden of the Garden Exposition seen through the Design Process (설계과정을 통해 본 정원박람회 작가정원의 전통재현 특성)

  • This study was conducted through the analysis of literature and on-site research as a case study of 14 artists' gardens with traditional themes presented at the garden fair. With Focusing on the design process for determining traditional reproduction, the following characteristics and implications were derived by analyzing the design goals, selection of subjects for traditional reenactment, determination of methods for reproduction, and design stages of landscape components. First, the pattern of selecting traditional structures as subjects for reproduction in many artist gardens can be understood as an advantage of being suitable for narrow sites and having remarkable topic communicability. They directly delivered the design intent by adding the names of traditional structures such as Madang, Wool, Buttumak, Jangdokdae, Chuibyeong and Seokgasan. Works expressed indirectly, such as Wall, Korean Garden, Suwon, and Seoul craftsmen, have relatively weak topic communicability. There were also symbolic representations of objects to be reproduced, such as Seonbi, marginal spaces, and Pung-lyu. Second, while reproducing Hanok Madang, separate the gardens paved with grass and stone, the fortress wall of Suwon Hwaseong and the northwest Gongsimdon of the watchtower. Also the garden with a miniature version of the extraneous Yong-yeon and the garden, which was reproduced as a low decorative wall in the rest area based on Nakan-Eupseong Fortress, shows the need for a deep understanding of tradition. On the other hand, the reproducting works of choosing the location of the traditional garden, the Korean Garden showed the importance of systematic arrangement with the surrounding environment, the beauty of the space in the courtyard of Hanok, the beauty of the slowness enjoyed by the scholars and the reenactments of the Pung-lyu culture of Moonlight boating are not only imitating traditional structures but also spreading understanding of tradition to garden culture and sentiment. Third, there were many works that reconstructed the real-size traditional structure in a straightforward way in relation to design. The garden was divided into Chuibyeong and the living space was decorated with Buttumak, chimneys, and gardens, and facilities representing Gyeongbokgung Palace, Soswaewon, and Seoseokji were systemically arranged. However it recognized the importance of selecting the key design elements, constructing the elevation of the structure, and the sense of scale of the space from works that reproduced the large Suwon Hwaseong and Nakan-Eupseong in an abstract way. While there are examples gardens of Hanok yards and Bazawul, which are far from the original image among the gardens that chose the dismantling method, the Blank-space garden expressed only by a frame composed of cubes, and Seonbi's Sarangbang garden, that permeated the moonlight with many traditional structures are the positive examples. The Seoul Artisan Garden, Jikji Simche Garden and Pung-lyu Garden, which display modernly designed landscape components, need an explanation to understand the author's intention.

A Study on Metaverse Construction Based on 3D Spatial Information of Convergence Sensors using Unreal Engine 5 (언리얼 엔진 5를 활용한 융복합센서의 3D 공간정보기반 메타버스 구축 연구)

  • Recently, the demand and development for non-face-to-face services are rapidly progressing due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19, and attention is focused on the metaverse at the center. Entering the era of the 4th industrial revolution, Metaverse, which means a world beyond virtual and reality, combines various sensing technologies and 3D reconstruction technologies to provide various information and services to users easily and quickly. In particular, due to the miniaturization and economic increase of convergence sensors such as unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) capable of high-resolution imaging and high-precision LiDAR(Light Detection and Ranging) sensors, research on digital-Twin is actively underway to create and simulate real-life twins. In addition, Game engines in the field of computer graphics are developing into metaverse engines by expanding strong 3D graphics reconstuction and simulation based on dynamic operations. This study constructed a mirror-world type metaverse that reflects real-world coordinate-based reality using Unreal Engine 5, a recently announced metaverse engine, with accurate 3D spatial information data of convergence sensors based on unmanned aerial system(UAS) and LiDAR. and then, spatial information contents and simulations for users were produced based on various public data to verify the accuracy of reconstruction, and through this, it was possible to confirm the construction of a more realistic and highly utilizable metaverse. In addition, when constructing a metaverse that users can intuitively and easily access through the unreal engine, various contents utilization and effectiveness could be confirmed through coordinate-based 3D spatial information with high reproducibility.

A Study of Representation of Jong-no and Bon-jung in Modern Boy and Assassination : Focusing on the Post-colonialism (<모던보이>와 <암살>의 본정과 종로 재현 연구 -탈식민주의를 중심으로-)

  • In this paper, I examined the representation of post-colonialism focusing on the spaces in Modern Boy and Assassination. These movies represented Bon-jung and Jong-no as a mixed-residence quarter, over the dual city theory, the orthodoxy of geography. It can be interpreted as the birth of a hybrid subject in post-colonialism. The representation of Bon-jong in Modern Boy was centered around Mitsukoshi Department Rooftop Garden, Namsan Music Center and Myeongdong Cathedral. The representation of Bon-jung in Assassination was centered around Anemone Cafe and Mitsukoshi Department Store. Set in the history of the new building the Japanese Government General of Korea in Jong-no, Modern Boy used it as a place of struggle. The representation of Jong-no in Assassination was centered around the mansion of Kang In-kuk, a pro-Japanese collaborator. Modern Boy and Assassination showed the post-colonialism that breaks through modern binary oppositions by a 'female' national heroine. describing Bon-jung as both a mixed-residence quarter and the original home of post-colonialism movement, they also showed a different aspect from the existing Kyung-sung representations.

Reproducing water flow using 3D game engine (3D게임엔진을 이용한 물 흐름 재현)

  • 한국건설기술연구원(Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology, KICT)의 안동하천연구센터(Andong River Experiment Center, REC)는 다양한 하천 관련 실규모 실험을 수행하기 위해 3개의 수로를 보유하고 있다. 본 연구의 주목적인 실증 실험 계측 결과를 기반으로 3D 게임엔진을 이용하여 물 흐름을 재현하기 위해 A1 수로를 대상구간으로 설정하였다. 실증 실험의 경우 2개의 수문 개도율 조건에서 ADV와 ADCP를 활용하여 계측된 유량 및 유속 결과들을 비교하였으며, 추가적으로 영상 데이터로 부터 표면유속(LS-PIV)을 산정하였다. 3D 게임 엔진은 렌더링 엔진, 물리 엔진, 오디오 엔진, UI 시스템, 게임플레이 프레임워크 등이 잘 융합된 소스코드들과 개발자들이 이용하기 쉬운 방식으로 변환된 툴(tool)로 제공하여 현실 세계를 가상 세계에 시각화하여 구현하는데 큰 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 기존의 흐름 재현이 가능한 수리/수문 모델링의 경우 특정한 목적으로만 이용가능하고 연산에 소용되는 시간 때문에 실시간 흐름재현이 어렵지만, 3D 게임엔진을 이용하는 경우 다양한 목적과 여러 분야와의 고려가 동시에 가능하며 연산의 단순화를 통해 실시간 흐름 재현이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 언리얼 엔진의 Niagara Fluids와 Fluid flux 툴들을 활용하여 하천실증실험 시설 일부 구간에 대해 물 흐름을 재현하였다. 먼저 하천실험실증시설을 드론과 RTK-GPS를 이용하여 촬영된 결과를 정합하여 3D 게임엔진 기반 흐름 재현을 위한 지형 기초 자료를 구축하였다. 지형 계측 결과를 기반으로 A1 수로 전체 구간을 대상구간으로 설정한 이후 수문 조절을 통해 흐름 조건을 제어할 수 있도록 제작하였으며, 실제 흐름에 대한 계측 결과를 기반으로 재현된 흐름을 대상으로 material 값의 조정(방향 X, Y값을 RGB값으로 변환한 뒤 벡터 길이 값으로 환산)을 통해 0~100 사이 값을 이용하여 유속을 표현하였다. 최근 가상공간 (i.e. 디지털트윈) 관련 시장 성장이 매우 빠르고 다양한 사업에서 해당 기술의 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 본 연구를 통해 물 흐름의 디지털 트윈화를 위한 수단으로서 3D 게임 엔진의 활용 가능성을 확인하였다. 다만 실제 하천의 적용과 하천관리를 위한 실용화를 위해서는 추가적인 연구와 분석이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
