A Study on the Restructuring Global Production Space of Korean Rechargeable Battery Companies (한국 이차전지기업의 글로벌 생산공간 재구성 연구)

  • This study targets the rechargeable battery industry, which has been rapidly growing recently. The rechargeable battery industry is closely related to the electric vehicle industry. However, other factors also influence it. Currently, rechargeable battery companies show a pattern of restructuring production space by various means. To determine the causes of these production spaces, the factors affecting regional and national scales were thoroughly examined. As a result, the location factors for rechargeable battery-related companies are determined by cooperative relationships with assembled car companies, government policy regulations, and the stability of supply of key materials. And a spatial strategy was implemented to make the most of these circumstances.

  • The continuing enlargement, deepening integration of EU and penetration of extra-EU enterprise into EU market are forming a new geographical restructure of the production system. In this paper, I analyse the changing geography of the EU automotive production system. The globalization and regionalisation of production activity intensify a competition among the enterprise. The European automotive production system changes to a platform system and a modular system for a diminution of productive costs, a development of various products and a frequent innovation of products. The European automotive enterprise is restructuring geographically the production functions and products in order to promote efficiency on a new production system, enlarged production space and intensified economic integration. The European automotive industry tends to a spatial specialization and agglomeration according to the locational factors of production functions and products and the locational condition of regions. This intensifies the geographical hierarchic structure of production activity between the core and the periphery.

  • One of the oldest chestnuts in economic geography is this: Cultural and creative industries strongly gather in large cities and this geographic concentration of economic activities leads to regional development. Of course, depending on the circumstances, such a proposition still holds good. But, under the current paradigm shift to knowledge-based economy, it may be open to question. This study aims to investigate financing and knowledge accumulation in the film industry through an alternative framework for explaining their spatial distributions, "formation mechanism of economic space." From the fact that their production organizations are formed on a project basis, project-based financing structure in the investment stage and knowledge accumulation process in the production stage form both axes of it. Film industry as the most mature industry among the cultural and creative industries does not always concentrate in a certain place (industrial agglomeration) or show metropolis-oriented preference. This allows us to reconsider our long brooding theory.

  • 지리 정보 시스템의 발전으로 공간 데이터의 수요가 늘어남에 따라 공간 데이터의 공급자들이 늘어나고 있다. 일반적으로 공간 데이터의 공급자는 수요자의 요구에 맞는 형식을 사용하여 공간 데이터를 생산한다. 그래서, 생산된 공간 데이터는 다양한 플랫폼에서 다양한 형식으로 저장된다. 최근들어 분산환경에서 다양한 플랫폼에 저장된 공간 데이터를 효율적으로 접근하기 위하여 공간 정보유통의 필요성이 증대되었고 OpenGIS Consortium(OGC)은 공간 데이터의 상호호환성을 위해 ISO와 협력하며 국제 표준화를 추진중이다. 본 논문에서는 공간 정보유통 중 공간 데이터 접근을 위해 OGC의 Simple Features Specification for CORBA 표준을 기반으로 ESRI사의 공간 데이터 저장 형식인 Shape 파일을 위한 CORBA 데이터 프로바이더를 구현한다. CORBA는 언어와 플랫폼에 독립적으로서 분산환경에서의 상호운용성을 제공하고, 특히 Java와 결합하면 웹 브라우저를 통해 어떤 플랫폼에서든지 사용 가능하다. 그러므로, Shape 파일에 대한 CORBA 서버를 개발함으로써 플랫폼에 종속되지 않는 공간 데이터의 접근을 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 설계시 고려사항 및 구현 방법에 대해 살펴보고 OGC 표준을 구현하면서 발견된 문제점 및 성능 향상을 위한 방법에 대해서도 언급하여 다른 공간 데이터 형식을 위한 CORBA 서버를 개발할 때 참조할 수 있도록 한다.

  • Space plays a very important role in the human residential environment. Space is where the direct experience of life and expansion of that experience are made out of simple residential space. In particular, kitchen space is where the importance of the living space is perceived and is becoming an everyday part of life through television programs. Thereby, kitchen space is where the culture of everyday life plays a role in communication based on the very important production and function of television culture. The kitchen is where various experiences emerge. It is a space where the phenomena of communicating through cooking, experiencing tastes, and communicating with family members is realized. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between communication and production in the kitchen through analysis of "Yune Restaurant 1" on tvN channel. The results of this study show that the human kitchen space leads to expansion of various experiences in the process of various cultural discounts.

The Exploration of Intersectoral Convergence of Spatial Information Industry and Forecast of its Market Size (공간정보산업 융·복합부문 탐색 및 시장규모 전망 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the convergence sector of the spatial information industry based on the business transaction data of spatial information companies and to predict the market size of the industry using the Seemingly Unrelated Regression(SUR) model. The convergence part of spatial information industry, which cannot be identified in the Spatial Data Industry Survey, was analyzed by exploring keywords related to spatial information using the business DB of Korea Enterprise Data (2010-2019). The convergence of spatial information businesses mainly appeared in the business relationship between the value chain between Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The convergence business has the largest sales in the value chain 2 (utilization, service) & 3 (convergence), and also the convergence in the value chain 1 (production, construction) & 2, 2 & 3 stages has doubled in 2019 compared to 2010. In 2019, the total sales of the spatial information industry based on the Statistical Korea were announced at about 8 trillion won, but in this study, the total sales of the spatial information industry were estimated at 28 trillion won considering convergence activities. Finally, when scenario 1 (0.38% population growth, 2020-2024) and 0.07% (2026-2030) were applied using the SUR model to predict the expected market size of the industry, sales decreased by -0.37% to 0.069% in 2025 and 2030 by respectively. When scenario 2 (average wage growth 1.2%) was applied during the same period, sales in the industry increased by 2.326% to 12.185%. In other words, the sales in the spatial information industry depends on Labor, Total Factor Productivity, and Capital Productivity so it is necessary to additional research on policy development and alternatives of enhancing each productivity.

  • 역학적 상세화기법은 물리적 기반의 지역기후모형(RCM)을 이용하여 고해상도 기후자료를 생산하는 유용한 기법이며, 전세계적으로 지역 기후시나리오를 생산하고, 적용 및 평가하는 연구가 널리 진행되고 있다. 역학적 상세화기법 적용 시 지역기후모형의 공간해상도를 향상시키면 지형효과를 더욱 상세하게 반영할 수 있어 고해상도의 기후모의자료를 생산할 수 있지만, 이를 위해 더 많은 시간과 비용이 요구된다. 또한, 공간해상도 향상이 기후모의 결과의 정확도 향상을 보장하지 않기 때문에 역학적 상세화를 위한 지역기후모형의 적정 공간해상도 선정이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기후모의 자료의 공간해상도가 하천유출량 모의시미치는 영향을 평가하고, 최종적으로는 고해상도 기후시나리오가 하천유출량 모의에 필요한지 여부를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 관측 기후자료와 Weather and Research Forecasting (WRF)모형으로 상세화된 5km (WRF05)와 20km (WRF20) 공간해상도의 기후모의자료를 활용하였으며, 하천유출량 산정을 위해 준분포형 수문모형인 Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT)을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 대상유역은 한강유역 내 충주댐, 소양강댐, 팔당댐 유역들에 대해 평가를 수행하였다. 유역평균강수량을 평가한 결과, 3개 댐 유역의 연평균 강수량 및 여름철 강수량은 WRF20이 관측자료와 WRF05에 비해 높게 산정되었다. 하지만, WRF20은 일강수량이 1~40mm인 발생횟수가 상대적으로 많이 산정되었으며, 극치강수량의 강도와 빈도는 WRF20이 관측자료와 WRF05에 비해 과소 산정되는 것으로 나타났다. 관측자료, WRF05와 WRF20을 입력자료로 활용하여 SWAT모형으로 생산된 일 하천유출량 자료를 토대로 유황곡선을 도시하였다. 유황곡선의 5~90% 구간에서는 WRF05와 WRF20의 결과는 큰 차이가 나진 않았으나, 고유량과 저유량 구간에서는 WRF05가 WRF20에 비해 관측자료에 근접하게 모의하는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 20km에서 5km로 공간해상도가 높아짐에 따라 극치 홍수량 및 갈수량을 더욱 현실적으로 모사할 수 있는 것을 의미한다.

  • This study analyzes the creation process of local cultural contents that appears in the Maeul-mandeulgi by utilizing the "Village Rituals" handed down from village. The purpose is to analyze the social values and meanings they represent. For this purpose, a qualitative research method using Chilgok-gun Yeong-ori was applied and analyzed through Lefebvre's the production of space theory. Residents began to recognize the necessity of projects such as Maeul-mandeulgi to overcome the community crisis, and attempted to change the perception of existing village rituals. The new cultural contents were created by adding a playful element to the existing Cheonwangje, and thereby strengthening the identity of the village. This resulted in the reproduction of the village as a new cultural space, but it showed the reproduction of the space in which the alienation occurred due to excessive physical expansion. However, through this process, villagers increased their sense of belonging and increased their satisfaction, which showed the process of being produced as a space of representation that strengthens the sense of community.

  • Major proposes of this study are to analyze Korean Shipbuilding's production network and cooperation between related firms and to understand their spatial features. The Geographical study about networks has focused on automobiles, electronics or communications industries. That's because those industries have distinctive spatial features thanks to the full growth of subcontract structures. The labor-centered, capital-centered shipbuilding industry, differently from other manufacturing industries, has production networks where outside trades are common. Today internet based communication is being reinforced and the flexibility of purchase circumstances is being positively proceeded. The central axes of the production network of Sumsung shipbuilding are internationally Europe and Asian area, nationally Busan and Gyeongnam province and Seoul Metropolitan areas, locally inside subcontracting firms. And In order to construct mutual trust with cooperation firms, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to reinforce two-way cooperation relation through 'SungJoHoi' organized with outside subcontracting firms and 'inside cooperation firms conference'. In conclusion, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to strengthen the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry, spatially by setting up the network through globalization-localization and functionally by constructing the partnership production network for mutual communication.
