  • 케이블의 고장 검출과 예방진단을 위하여 방전펄스의 극성을 분석하고 시간차를 구하여 방전원의 방향 및 위치를 추정할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현장에서 적용되는 22.9[kV] 배전전력케이블을 모의실험실에 구성하였다 모의결함 가공 후에 부분방전 발생전압까지 가압 후 신호측정 및 분석을 하였으며 두개의 동일한 센서를 사용하여 하나는 단말기 접지 쪽에 고정취부 하였고 나머지 하나는 중간 접속부 안팎을 각각 측정하였다. 또한 케이블 간격별로 측정을 하였으며 측정된 방전펄스의 파두 극성을 분석하여 부분방전펄스의 방향 분석을 하였다. 측정에 적용된 센서는 HFCT센서를 적용 하였으며 측정펄스 분석은 오실로스코프를 이용하여 확인 하였다.

Fault Detection and Diagnosis Systems of Induction Machines using Real-Time Stochastic Modeling Approach (실시간 확률 모델링 기법을 이용한 유도기기의 고장검출 및 진단시스템)

  • This paper presents stochastic methodology based fault detection algorithm for induction motor systems. We measure current of healthy induction motors by means of hall sensor systems and then establish its probability distribution. We propose online probability density estimation which is effective in real-time implementation due to its simplicity and low computational burden. In addition, we accomplish theoretical analysis of the proposed estimation to demonstrate its convergence property by using statistical convergence and system stability theories. We apply our fault detection approach to three-phase induction motors and achieve real-time experiment for evaluating its reliability and practicability in industrial fields.

  • This paper deals with a method or a residual generation for fault isolation in a centrifugal pump with a water circulation system, driven by a speed controlled dc motor. It is based on parity relations derived from the moving-average model of the system and is used to identify sensor faults and two possible brush and impeller faults, where the former is dealt with additive faults, while the latter characterized as discrepancies between the nominal and actual plant parameters of the system is modelled by multiplicative faults. We will represent the propagation of this uncertainty to the model matrices by the approximate handling of partial derivatives of polynomials. With multiplicative faults, the transformation matrix implemented in the residual generator are calculated on-line. The simulation studies demonstrate that small changes of the system can be detected and diagnosed by using the method.

  • Testing of analog(and mixed-signal) circuits has been a difficult task for test engineers and effective test techniques to solve these problems are required. This paper develops a new technique which increases fault detection and diagnosis rates for analog circuits by using extended MTSS (Modified Time Slot Specification) technique based on MTSS proposed by the author. High performance current sensors with digital outputs are used as core components for these techniques. A fault diagnosis structure with minimal hardware overhead in ATE is also described.

  • A system operating algorithm was developed for the effective operation of a multi-type air-conditioning system. The system operating algorithm includes control algorithms for a safety mode, an initial operating mode, a stabilization mode, a fault diagnosis mode, an efficiency mode, and a tracking mode. Various tests were performed to show the effectiveness of these algorithms. Tests showed good results for the operation of a multi-type air-conditioning system. Therefore, these algorithms developed for this study may be used for the effective control of a multi-type air-conditioning system.

  • In this paper, it is proposed the fault detection method of the ASIC, without the Test Requirement Document(TRD), extracting internal logic circuit and analyzed the function of the ASIC using the multipurpose development program and simulation. If there don't have the TRD, it is impossible to analyze the operation of the circuit and find out the fault detection in any chip. Therefore, we make the TRD based on the analyzed logic data of the ASIC, and diagnose of the ASIC circuit at the gate level through the signal control of I/O pins using the Dynamic Pattern signal. According to the experimental results of the proposed method, we is confirmed the good performance of the fault detection capabilities which applied to the non-memory circuit.

  • Smart grid technology can be called grid techniques to improve the efficiency of the electric power by exchanging bidirectional information of electric power with real-time between electric power suppliers and consumers. Recently, the solar power generation system is being applied actively. However the solar power system has several problems leading to reduce overall electricity generation, because the difficult of the diagnosis and the solar power system failure such as PV(PhotoVoltaics) and inverter. In order to build an efficient smart grid, a stable electric power energy requirements capture and management and early fault detection is essentially required in solar power generation system. In this paper, it is designed to monitor the operating status of the solar power monitoring system from a remote location through a RS-485 or TCP/IP communication module to monitoring the output of solar power energy and abnormal phenomenon, to developing the measurement module and to transfer measured data.

  • 전 세계적으로 급증하고 있는 에너지 수요로 인해 오일, 가스 등의 에너지 생산 매체를 운송 할 수 있는 수송 수단인 배관에 대한 수요도 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 이러한 배관을 장시간 사용할 경우 노후화로 인해 발생되는 파공은 배관에 흐르는 유체 누설의 원인이 되고, 나아가서 경제 및 재난 피해를 야기할 수 있다. 따라서 다양한 배관 누설 검출 기술들이 개발되고 있는 추세이며, 이를 위해서는 신뢰성 있는 결함 모사 데이터의 확보가 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성 있는 데이터 수집을 위해 배관의 누설 상황을 모사 할 수 있는 테스트베드를 제어하고, 테스트베드에서 데이터를 안정적으로 취득할 수 있는 테스트베드 제어 및 데이터 취득 시스템을 제안한다.

  • This paper deals with a fault detection and isolation scheme for a DC motor driven centrifugal pump system. The emphasis is placed on the design and implementation of the residual generatorm, based on parity relation, that provides decision logic unit with residuals that will be further processed to detect and isolate three important faults in the system;brush fault, impeller fault, and the speed sensor fault. Two process faults are modelled as multiplicative type faults, while the sensor fault as an additive one. With multiplicative fault, the implementation of the residual generator needs the time varying transformation matrix that must be computed on-line. Typical implementation methods lack in generality because only a numerical approximation around the assumed fault levels is employed. In this paper, a new implementation method using well tranined neural network is proposed to improve the generality of the residual generator. Application results show that the fault detection and isolation scheme with the proposed residual generator effectively isolates three major faults in the centrifugal pump system even with a wide range of fault magnitude.

  • In this paper, in order to apply Prognostics and Health Management(PHM) to an electronic system or circuit, a circuit capable of detecting and predicting defect characteristics inside the system or circuit is implemented, and the results are described. In the previous study, we demonstrated that the frequency of the amplitude of S-parameter changed as the circuit defect progressed. These characteristics were measured by network analyser. but in this study, even if the same defect detection method is used, a circuit is proposed to check the progress of the defect, the remaining time, and the occurrence of the defect without large measurement devices. The circuit is designed to detect the change in impedance that generates changes of S-parameter, and it is verified through simulation using the measurement results of Bond-wires.
