  • This study has a purpose that comes up with a practical direction of training program about a cultivating vocational competence to older adults for living an independent life including a social, economic, and emotional base. The aged people suffered from a employment uncertainty because the aged people's job opportunity is just opened to unskilled works and not related with a regular lifelong educational program. In this study, the direction of program for cultivating vocational competence should be expanded and standardized. Also, there are less social agreement about older adult's cultivating vocational competence has a meaning above the purpose with economic activity. And the program should related with the employment. The direction of program for cultivating vocational competence to older adult should be the expansion and standardization of program. and should have the opportunity of sympathy about older adult's physical and social problem.

  • This study aims to determine the factors associated with preparation for turnover in youth employees, using a data from the Youth Panel 2007-2013. Study population were composed by 17,037 employees and a generalized estimating equations (GEE) using panel logit model was performed. It was identified that socioeconomic(age, sex, level of education, monthly income and type of employment) and work-related factors(perception of difficulties in performing tasks compared to level of education, perception on the Job-Major match, stabilization of employment, autonomy and empowerment of jobs, peer relationship in workplace) were statistically significant variables. Based on the analysis, dissatisfaction on working environment or condition might lead to employees prepare to turnover and it is a series of activities that to improve welfare and find a suitable job for oneself.

  • $Zn_2TiO_4$, using an anatase form of $TiO_2$ on zinc crystalline glaze, was shown as effective nuclear agent. Thus the effects on glaze were studied with synthesized $Zn_2TiO_4$ at low temperature. First, the chromophore elements were employed in synthesized $Zn_2TiO_4$ then add them in the zinc crystalline glaze. Crystal creation and development of color by $Zn_2TiO_4$ addition on the zinc crystalline glaze were more effective. Addition of $Zn_2TiO_4$, which is developed in low range temperature, is effected as zinc crystalline nuclear in the willemite glaze. When 5 wt% of synthesized $Zn_2TiO_4$ was added to the willemite glaze, nuclear creation increases and steadily retains. Therefore addition of respectively doped $Zn_2TiO_4$ with CoO, NiO, and CuO would increase doped effects in the glaze, various color willemite crystal were obtained.

  • The government announced a number of policy on service industries and pushing. over the past 10 years. Important role in the service industry is a very large degree job creation, as well as employment impacts have had a stable employment skills. In June 2015 the Bureau of Statistics released the youth unemployment rate (15~29 years) showed a 10.2%. The service industry is recognized as one of the alternatives that can overcome the deteriorating economic situation this way. Is there a difference between industry by type what performance management is applied when this service was variable with a GWP of Korean? Can GWP variables are variables which are more important to recognize the service industry? GWP variables having a certain impact on the activities of the member teamwork, job involvement has what effect on? And the impact on business performance relationship who only proven case studies whilst also want to empirical verification.

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze job sequences according to poverty profiles that the working poor have had. For the stated purpose, this study examines characteristics and patterns of job sequences by diving the subgroups, using the 10 year data of KLIPS and the sequence analysis. Major findings are as follows. The working-transient poor have different characteristics, such as longer working term, less job change, less number of gap and length, and relatively higher monthly income, from the working-recurrent poor and the working-persistent poor. However, there are no different characteristics between the working-recurrent poor and working-persistent poor, except for monthly income. Job sequences are divided into 5 clusters and job sequences types according to the working poor subgroups are quite different. Such analysis results would contribute to planning poverty policies based on job sequences differently seen in subgroups and finding specific policy alternatives to relieve the working poor.

  • Globally, more than 90 percent of all international commerce takes place via sea freight. In terms of container cargo volume, Busan Port is the world's sixth largest port, given its geographical conditions. Regarding geographic advantages, a cargo-working operation that met customers' demand using a 24-hour operating delivery system also contributed to the growth of Busan Port as a global hub. However, research and studies on the working conditions for stevedores are lacking, even though the port industry relies heavily on human resources. Therefore, this study identifies the awareness of the working environment by cargo-working employees at Busan Port and their satisfaction level related to their working environment, such as working two shifts in a 24-hour period.

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of exploring the experiences of workers with disabilities on job change according to the COVID-19 situation. To this end, the data from the 2020 survey on economic activity for the disabled and data from the National Statistical Office were used, and the analysis was conducted using a literature study method. The results were as follows. First, COVID-19 had caused a change in the working pattern of wage workers with disabilities. Second, the degree of employment security for the disabled had deteriorated after COVID-19. Third, non-wage workers were experiencing difficulties in business operation due to COVID-19. • This paper aims at analysing what impacts the experience of self-employed business have had on the income mobility. Since 2000s, the flexibilization of labor market and the population aging led to the increase of the number of self-employed job as many retirees at the age of early 50s has set up the self-employed business as a bridge job. However, previous researches just have emphasized on the impoverishment of the self-employed, but not focused on what different effects the experience of self-employed had on the income class mobility by age group. This paper compares the difference in the income class mobility by age group and employment status, and analyses its longitudinal trends. According to the result, as a whole the experience of self-employed has positive effect on the upper mobility of income class, but it become disadvantageous for the upper mobility as the age goes up. When belonging to the age group over 60s, the experience of self-employed rather increases the risk of lowering income class. Just as the experience of self-employed has different effects on income class mobility by age group, so the differentiated measures for age groups are demanded.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the entrepreneurial satisfaction of entrepreneurs, based on the characteristics of entrepreneurial firms. For this purpose, we tried to derive the psychological factors besides the personal characteristics of the entrepreneurs as the factors affecting the entrepreneurial satisfaction, which is the result of much research. Psychological factors were empirically analyzed by satisfaction with job and work environment through entrepreneurship, satisfaction with economic employment stability and income factors, and individual development potential, autonomy, and social reputation. The results of this study are as follows: First, the sample consists of entrepreneurs who have been engaged in entrepreneurship activity in Busan for 3 years. Through technical statistical analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, The hypotheses about entrepreneurship satisfaction were verified and meaningful results and implications could be derived. Based on this, it can be extended to include research on firm capacity variables such as financial indicators and technological power that were not reflected in this study in the future.

  • By analyzing 1998~2008 Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS), this study examines socio-economic characteristics of people who become poor. The study also explores the reason why they are in the state of poverty. To find determinants affecting poverty entrance, discrete-time hazard models are applied. Major findings are as follows. The socio-economic characteristics driving people into poverty are in the middle way of the long-term poor and the non-poor, combining the characteristics of both groups. This implies that many cases of the newly poor tend to enter and exit from poverty repeatedly. Poverty entry rate was at a high level right after the economic crises, then was a downturn and remained fairly stable since 2000. However, the young, the high-educated, and even the professional are on the rise as a new poverty group. The major reason people become poor is temporary job loss. This factor is confirmed again by multi-variate analyses. In building anti-poverty policies, it is important to distinguish the long-term poor from the short-term poor. For the long-term poor, virtually the only affective policy will be income support. On the other hand, a labor-market strategy for jos security will be more effective for the short-term poor. The characteristics and determinants of poverty entry may affect poverty duration and exit in the future. Future research will be needed to investigate the relationship among these factors.
