Restoration of 'Arhat' of Koryo Dynasty -Collection of the National Museum of Korea- ('나한도(羅漢圖)'의 보존수복(保存修復) -국립중앙박물관(國立中央博物館) 소장(所藏) 고려불화(高麗佛畵)-)

  • The most important aspect in preserving ancient paintings is to return the painting to the original state and conserve it in the original state. One traditional recovering method is the use of frame, for which scientific analysis such as X-rays, infrared and microscope are used and materials are carefully selected. Arhat, a Buddhist painting of Koryo Dynasty, one of the Korean National Museum collections has lost its original shape. With conservation treatment, the cause was found, that is to change frame scroll method to mounting method. In the main body, pre-analysis and conservation method of Arhat will be introduced.

The Characteristics of Seon as Expressed in the Costumes of Worldly Figures Illustrated in Koryo Buddhist Paintings (고려불화를 통해 본 현실세계 인물의 복식에 표현된 선의 특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Seon that was expressed in the costumes of worldly figures illustrated in Koryo Buddhist paintings. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. Out of the above mentioned costumes, except those for Buddha and Bodhisattava, most were actually worn by people of Koryo. Shown in the paintings, the patterns and decorations of Seon are more brilliant and diverse in part of worldly figures than in that of Buddhist figures. For men, Seon was mainly used to robes for Buddhist priest while, for women, costumes for the queen and noble women. Seon was applied to costumes for both men and women, especially Po for ritual purposes. Besides, it was sometimes used to Buddhist priests' robes and women's Banbi and chima. The patterns of Seon were usually single in composition style and scattering in arrangement style. Whether applied to costumes for men or women, Seon usually had complementary colors that were harmonized.

  • 인공함양은 대수층함양관리 중 하나의 기법이며 하수처리장 방류수의 영향을 직·간접적으로 받은 물을 지하대수층에 함양하여 수질의 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 방류수의 영향으로 인해 다수의 미량유해물질들이 대수층으로 유입됨에 따라 함양 후 회수할 때 이들의 검출이 빈번해졌다. 이에 따라 이 미량유해물질의 제거를 위해 인공함양의 후속 공정으로 나노막 여과를 고려하여 인공함양과 나노막 공정을 통하여 미량유해물질의 거동을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 인공함양 지하저수지 모사 컬럼을 설계하여 실험하였다. 서울특별시 탄천 하류에서 샘플링한 물을 원수로 사용하였으며 인공함양에 앞서 염소, 과망간산염, 오존의 3종류 산화 전처리를 통하여 그 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 함양기간은 2.5일이었으며 함양 후 나노막 장치를 통하여 최종 유출수를 획득하였다. 인공함양 결과 용존유기물은 45%~63% 수준에서 제거가 되어 인공함양시 용존유기물의 제거가 가능함을 확인하였다. 산화 전처리에 따른 동화가능유기탄소의 증가로 인하여 생분해가 주요 기작인 인공함양 처리를 통하여 동화가능유기탄소의 제거율이 유기용존탄소의 제거율에 직접적으로 영향을 주었음을 알 수 있었다. 미량유해물질로 알려진 과불화화합물의 경우 산화 전처리에 따른 제거는 관찰되지 않았으며 잔류의약물질의 경우 대상 물질의 물리·화학적 특성에 따라 산화시 제거가 가능함을 확인하였다. Iopromide와 같은 조영제의 경우 오존 산화를 통하여 98% 이상 제거되어 산화를 통한 제거가 가능함을 확인하였다. 인공함양시 과불화화합물은 분자량이 큰 PFNA, PFDA, PFOS 등이 제거되었으며 그 제거율은 각각 최대 >99%까지 도달하였다. 분자량이 작은 과불화화합물의 경우 인공함양을 통과하는 경향을 보였다. 잔류의약물질의 경우 생분해가 용이한 물질은 제거가 됨을 확인하였으며 carbamazepine 등 제거가 안 되는 물질은 제거율이 18% 미만으로 확인하였다. 나노막 여과 결과 과불화화합물이 최대 >99%까지 제거됨을 확인하였으며 미량유해물질의 경우에도 대부분의 물질이 제거됨을 확인하였다.

  • The buddhistic painting of Song-Kwang temple in Seungjoo-gun, Chonnam, Korea is not known in chronicle, but it could be estimated to works in the early 19th century through it's remaining records and qualities of materials. And it was analysed the qualities of materials consisting of pigment layer, silken-ground layer and support layer in order to preserve buddhistic painting, made back-adherent paper of the support layer proper to it, tested its compatibility, and then concluded as follows. 1. The section structures of buddhistic painting is consisted of the pigment layer, silken-ground layer of silk and the support layer of Korean hand made paper, it could be recognized that buddhistic painting in 19th century was basically composed of the pigment layer, the silken-ground layer and the support layer. Moreover the pigment layer and the silken-ground layer got adhered with glue, and sheets of support layers got back adhered with paste. 2. The support layer of buddhistic painting consisted of 5 layers and two kinds of paper were used for them. The first and second layers were composed of Korean hand made paper made of pure paper mulberry bast fibers, and the rest of them of paper that paper mulberry bast fibers were mixed into recycled hemp fibers. Though it is difficult to assert without the security of more data, finding out the then situation through the qualities of materials, it was presumed that the society in 19th century was suffered from economical difficulties and the operation of the paper industry of temples was rather difficult and so low-qualitative recycled hemp fibers might used for back-adherent paper. 3. Considering tension between silken-ground layers and support layers of this materials, newly made back-adherent paper was used for repair, and then I could conform that it was proper to back-adherent paper for repair.

  • A Spectroscopic Ellipsorneter(SE) is fabricated. The PSA configuration of the rotating analyzer type where the effects of the imperfect optical elements can be minimized is adopted. The straight through operation shows that the standard deviations of tan$\psi$ and cos$\Delta$ are less than 0.2% in the spectral range of 300nm-850nm. From the film data of ellipsometric spectra the bulk dispersion relation of a few fluorides and the void distribution inside the fluoride thin films are obtained.

  • 국제적인 환경 규제 문제($CO_2$, SF$_{6}$(육불화황), PFC (과불화화합물) 등)가 새로운 무역장벽으로 등장하여 우리나라 주요 산업 부문에 미치는 영향이 점차 현실로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 환경 규제에 적절한 대처를 하기 위해 에너지 소비 증가와 이에 따르는 에너지 소비 패턴 및 인식에 대한 새로운 접근 방법이 요구되고 있다. 그동안 전력기기의 고효율화, 에너지 효율 향상과 수요관리 강화, 미활용 에너지원의 이용률 제고, 집단에너지 보급 확대 등 하드웨어적인 기술개발에 중점을 두고 추진되었으나, 앞으로는 전원설비, 전력전송 설비, 부하설비 등의 최적 설계기술을 통한 에너지절약 기술개발과 같은 소프트웨어적인 기술 개발이 요청되고 있다.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of each of the types of Seon which was expressed in costume of worldly figures illustrated in Koryo Buddhist paintings. The types of 'Seon' are largely classified into Standard and Application types. Among these types, standard type are reclassified into the types of same color and no pattern, different color and no pattern, same color and pattern and different color and pattern. And Application type is reclassified into the types of Buseon, wrinkle, feather and leaf, Regarding styles of Seon, most costumes for men and women used Seon of Standard style, especially that of different color and no pattern style. In addition, costumes for men more often used Seon of Standard style, especially that of different color and pattern style. While, costumes far women more often used Seon of application style, especially that of feather or wrinkle style. Seon was practically used to reinforce the edge of clothes, whether for men or women, and at the same time, and at the same time decorated the clothes brilliantly. In regard to aesthetic qualities of clothes in accordance with types of Seon, clothes having Seon of same color and no pattern type was natural and simple and different color and no pattern type, artificial and simple, same color and pattern type, natural and brilliant and different color and pattern type, artificial and brilliant. And costumes having Seon of Buseon type was decorative and simple, wrinkle type, sophisticated and dynamic, feather type, voluminous and dynamic and leaf type, brilliant and dynamic.
