Water Industry Innovation for Climate Response (기후 대응 물 산업 혁신)

  • 세계는 기후 위기, Covid-19에 직면함에 따라 물 산업 분야 탄소감축에 대한 목소리가 높아지고 있다. GWI(Global Water Intelligence)에서는 2030 물 분야 탄소감축 목표를 달성하기 위하여 17억 8,500만 달러, 노후자산 교체를 위한 신규 인프라 건설에 40억5600만 달러의 비용이 들 것으로 추산하였다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 물산업의 탄소중립 목표 달성을 위한 물 기업 혁신 전략 마련에 앞서 '영국 물 산업 2050 혁신 전략' 사례를 고찰하였다. '영국 물 산업 2050 혁신 전략'은 물 산업의 변화를 자극하고 장기적으로 고객과 환경, 그리고 국제사회에 이바지하는 것을 목표하고 있다. 본 전략은 현재와 미래에 제공할 물 서비스에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인과 이해관계자의 요구(Needs)에 집중한다는 특징이 있다. 문제점에 대한 시스템적 관점을 취하면서, 물 부문이 더 넓은 사회적 요인(물, 식량, 에너지 등)에 대해 대응할 수 있는 역할을 제고하기 위함이다. 결과적으로, 산업 인프라 및 환경 관련 다양한 부문 간 협력에 의한 시너지 창출은 온실가스 배출 'Zero'(2050년) 목표 달성에 한발 다가설 것으로 기대되며, 에너지, 제조, 데이터 과학, 식량 안보, 생태 복원 등의 분야는 물 산업 간 연계성이 높아 물 분야 혁신의 기회로 작용할 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구는 물 산업 혁신 전략으로 첫째, 중장기적인 혁신을 제공할 수 있는 통합 혁신 센터를 설치하여 인적·물적 자원을 네트워크화하는 방안을 제시하였다. 둘째, 물 분야 데이터 개방을 통하여 일반, 학계, 중소기업, 스타트업 등과 공동성장 지원을 제시하였다. 셋째, 다양한 물 문제와 경영 의사결정에 환경성을 고려할 것을 제시하였다.

A Study on User Switching Intention from Contact Center-oriented to AI Chatbot-Oriented Customer Services (컨택센터 중심에서 인공지능 챗봇 중심 고객 서비스로의 사용자 전환의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzes the factors and effects on the users' intention to switch from contact center-oriented to AI chatbot-oriented customer services by combining Push-Pull-Mooring Model and provides insights for companies considering the adoption of AI chatbots. To test the model, we surveyed users with experience using chatbots at least once across different age groups. Finally, we analyzed 176 cases for the analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics and SmartPLS 4.0. The results of hypotheses testing rejected the hypotheses for variables of inconsistent quality and low availability of push factors and low switching cost of mooring factor while accepting the hypotheses for the tardy response of push factors and all pull factors. Therefore, these findings provide important implications for researchers and practitioners who wish to conduct research or adopt AI chatbots. In conclusion, users do not feel inconvenienced by the contact center-oriented service but also perceive high trust and convenience with AI chatbot-oriented service. However, despite low switching costs, users consider chatbots a complementary tool rather than an alternative. So, companies adopting AI chatbots should consider what features the users expect from AI chatbots and facilitate these features when implementing AI chatbots.

  • Big data in the supply chain mainly comes from four aspects. One is the relevant data inevitably generated in the process of product value transfer of enterprises in the supply chain, such as production equipment quality data, planned procurement data, product data, etc; On the other hand, it is derived from the ERP data of various companies in the supply chain; The third is e-commerce data from the customer, and the last is data from external or manually entered data. A third-party data service center analysis and mining the data to predict and control the inventory in the process of supply chain operation. It brings innovation and change of management technology and way of thinking to the whole supply chain in many aspects, and finally achieves the goal of coordinated inventory and zero inventory of the whole supply chain.

  • 한국통합 물류협회에 따르면 총 택배 물량은 2020년은 약34억 개, 2021년은 약36억 만 개로 매년 꾸준히 성장하였다. 택배 물류센터에서 택배를 고객에게 전달시키기 위해서는 포장, 검수, 진열, 파지, 상차, 하차 등 많은 공정이 필요하다. 고용 인력의 부족, 인건비 상승, 부상의 위험, 높은 노동의 강도 등의 문제가 발생하였고, 소비자들의 입장에서도 제품 손상 또는 배송 지연 등의 여러 가지 문제를 야기해왔다. 본 논문은 로봇과 자율주행 기술을 활용하여 상품의 분류 및 배송과정을 자동화 하는 '스마트 물류창고 시스템'을 제안한다. 컨베이어 벨트를 이용해 택배물품의 분류를 자동화하고 자율주행 차량을 통해 배송을 하게 되고 DB를 통해 물품을 관리하게 되어 효율적인 운영을 가능하게 하고 경제적 손실을 줄인다. 적외선 센서, 바코드 센서를 이용해 컨베이어 벨트 구동 및 물품의 정보를 알 수 있으며 서보모터로 물품을 분류한다. 또한 입출고 차량이 명령을 통해 물품을 자동으로 입고 및 출고하여 DB에게 물품의 정보를 전송한다. 스마트 물류창고 시스템을 통해 인건비 절감, 오 배송, 물품 파손 등이 사라지게 되고 물류창고 뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서 적용 할 수 있을 것이다.

Effects of Exercise Prescription Service and Participation Level on Satisfaction and Reuse Intention of Fitness Center Users (피트니스센터 이용자들의 운동처방환경서비스와 참가정도가 이용만족도 및 재이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effect of exercise prescription service on user satisfaction and reuse intention of fitness center users in C region, Gangwon-do. The subjects of this study were 250 fitness center users aged 20 and over. Survey was conducted to examine users satisfaction and reuse intention. The final analysis data is 227 copies and the results are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in sex at the facility of satisfaction of use(t=2.308, p=.022). The marriage showed a significant difference in the price among user satisfaction(t=2.490, p=.014) and reuse intention(t=-1.968, p=.05). Age showed significant differences in the duration of participation(F=7.117, p=.000), frequency (F=6.171, p=.000), and intensity(F=2.791, p=.027). User satisfaction showed significant differences according to price(F=6.171, p=.000), leader(F=3.083, p=.017) and reuse intention(F=2.699, p=.032). There was a significant difference in education groups in terms of duration of participation(F=3.656, p=.007) and frequency(F=3.164, p=.015). leader(F=5.170, p=.001) and price(F=2.899, p=.023) were different in user satisfaction. Jobs showed a significant difference in the duration of participation(F=4.685, p=.000), intensity(F=2.373, p=.023) and reuse intention(F=4.840, p=.000). Monthly income showed a significant difference in user satisfaction(F=4.651, p=.001) and facility(F=2.606, p=.037). Second, there was a significant difference in the duration of participation according to presence or absence of exercise prescription service(t=-4.410, p=.000). There was also significant differences in the user satisfaction(t=-7.951, p=.000), leader(t=5.304, p=.000), facility(t=2.033, p=.043) and reuse intention(t=4.640, p=.000) in terms of the presence of exercise prescription service. Third, in the relation between exercise prescription service and the participation level, there was a significant effect of the leader(β=.221, p=.001) and the price(β=.135, p=.045) of user satisfaction, and the reuse intention(β=.182, p=.007). Fourth, among the user satisfaction influenced by exercise prescription service, facilities(β=.178, p=.005) and leader(β=.497, p=.000) were found to affect reuse intention.

Analysis of Utilization Characteristics, Health Behaviors and Health Management Level of Participants in Private Health Examination in a General Hospital (일개 종합병원의 민간 건강검진 수검자의 검진이용 특성, 건강행태 및 건강관리 수준 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze characteristics, health behaviors and health management level related to private health examination recipients in one general hospital. To achieve this, we analyzed 150,501 cases of private health examination data for 11 years from 2001 to 2011 for 20,696 participants in 2011 in a Dae-Jeon general hospital health examination center. The cluster analysis for classify private health examination group is used z-score standardization of K-means clustering method. The logistic regression analysis, decision tree and neural network analysis are used to periodic/non-periodic private health examination classification model. 1,000 people were selected as a customer management business group that has high probability to be non-periodic private health examination patients in new private health examination. According to results of this study, private health examination group was categorized by new, periodic and non-periodic group. New participants in private health examination were more 30~39 years old person than other age groups and more patients suspected of having renal disease. Periodic participants in private health examination were more male participants and more patients suspected of having hyperlipidemia. Non-periodic participants in private health examination were more smoking and sitting person and more patients suspected of having anemia and diabetes mellitus. As a result of decision tree, variables related to non-periodic participants in private health examination were sex, age, residence, exercise, anemia, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, obesity and liver disease. In particular, 71.4% of non-periodic participants were female, non-anemic, non-exercise, and suspicious obesity person. To operation of customized customer management business for private health examination will contribute to efficiency in health examination center.

Investigation of Internal Temperature Distribution in Domestic Refrigerators and Freezers (가정용 식품 냉장고와 냉동고의 내부 온도 분포 실태 조사)

  • This study surveyed and compared the temperature distribution in domestic refrigerators and freezers used in Korea to determine whether temperature varied according to the location of food storage. We selected 50 people to collect temperature data; among them, 25 measured the temperature of refrigerators, while the remaining measured the temperature of freezers. Consequently, the lowest and highest temperatures measured in domestic refrigerators were found to be -8.2℃ and 15.8℃, respectively, with an average temperature of 3.73℃. The temperature distribution based on internal location was: 5.06±1.69℃ for the door storage compartment, 4.18±1.19℃ for the inside wall surface, and 3.41±1.36℃ for the inner storage box. Significant temperature differences between the top and bottom were only identified at the door storage compartment (P<0.01). Further, the minimum and maximum temperatures measured in the freezer was -30.3℃ and 0.7℃, respectively, with an average temperature of -17.95℃. The temperature distribution based on location was: -17.19±1.68℃ for the door storage compartment, -17.81±1.07℃ for the inside wall surface, and -18.78±1.72℃ for the inside storage box. The results were similar to that of the refrigerator, with the lowest temperature in the inside storage box, and a significant temperature difference between the top and bottom noted only at the door (P<0.01). The maximum temperature difference (between locations) within the refrigerator and freezer was found to be 2.18 and 2.02℃, respectively. In conclusion, the temperature in the entire space was not constant; there were significant deviations at different storage locations. Therefore, public authorities should actively advise customers on the recommended storage locations for each food type. People will benefit from awareness about storage management, including avoiding storage of temperature-sensitive foods in door compartment.

Development of Intelligent ATP System Using Genetic Algorithm (유전 알고리듬을 적용한 지능형 ATP 시스템 개발)

  • The framework for making a coordinated decision for large-scale facilities has become an important issue in supply chain(SC) management research. The competitive business environment requires companies to continuously search for the ways to achieve high efficiency and lower operational costs. In the areas of production/distribution planning, many researchers and practitioners have developedand evaluated the deterministic models to coordinate important and interrelated logistic decisions such as capacity management, inventory allocation, and vehicle routing. They initially have investigated the various process of SC separately and later become more interested in such problems encompassing the whole SC system. The accurate quotation of ATP(Available-To-Promise) plays a very important role in enhancing customer satisfaction and fill rate maximization. The complexity for intelligent manufacturing system, which includes all the linkages among procurement, production, and distribution, makes the accurate quotation of ATP be a quite difficult job. In addition to, many researchers assumed ATP model with integer time. However, in industry practices, integer times are very rare and the model developed using integer times is therefore approximating the real system. Various alternative models for an ATP system with time lags have been developed and evaluated. In most cases, these models have assumed that the time lags are integer multiples of a unit time grid. However, integer time lags are very rare in practices, and therefore models developed using integer time lags only approximate real systems. The differences occurring by this approximation frequently result in significant accuracy degradations. To introduce the ATP model with time lags, we first introduce the dynamic production function. Hackman and Leachman's dynamic production function in initiated research directly related to the topic of this paper. They propose a modeling framework for a system with non-integer time lags and show how to apply the framework to a variety of systems including continues time series, manufacturing resource planning and critical path method. Their formulation requires no additional variables or constraints and is capable of representing real world systems more accurately. Previously, to cope with non-integer time lags, they usually model a concerned system either by rounding lags to the nearest integers or by subdividing the time grid to make the lags become integer multiples of the grid. But each approach has a critical weakness: the first approach underestimates, potentially leading to infeasibilities or overestimates lead times, potentially resulting in excessive work-inprocesses. The second approach drastically inflates the problem size. We consider an optimized ATP system with non-integer time lag in supply chain management. We focus on a worldwide headquarter, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities are globally networked. We develop a mixed integer programming(MIP) model for ATP process, which has the definition of required data flow. The illustrative ATP module shows the proposed system is largely affected inSCM. The system we are concerned is composed of a multiple production facility with multiple products, multiple distribution centers and multiple customers. For the system, we consider an ATP scheduling and capacity allocationproblem. In this study, we proposed the model for the ATP system in SCM using the dynamic production function considering the non-integer time lags. The model is developed under the framework suitable for the non-integer lags and, therefore, is more accurate than the models we usually encounter. We developed intelligent ATP System for this model using genetic algorithm. We focus on a capacitated production planning and capacity allocation problem, develop a mixed integer programming model, and propose an efficient heuristic procedure using an evolutionary system to solve it efficiently. This method makes it possible for the population to reach the approximate solution easily. Moreover, we designed and utilized a representation scheme that allows the proposed models to represent real variables. The proposed regeneration procedures, which evaluate each infeasible chromosome, makes the solutions converge to the optimum quickly.

CJ O Shopping effectively penetrated into overseas market with both core competence based on Korean home shopping model and rigorous preliminary study on target market. Especially shoppertainment (Shopping+Entertainment) that is unique feature of globally competitive Korean home shopping created huge differentiations in target market. Also choosing the influential local partner, sharing the business goals, and building the joint venture could make stable operations, thereby easily earning of well-established awareness from target consumers. A step ahead entry of competitors and intensive localization of CJ O Shopping's core competence for arriving safe in target market were additional key factors for global marketing success. We can extract above key factors for success as implications of case study on CJ O Shopping's global marketing, and expect those factors to be spread into lots of Korean companies and utilized as successful strategies for global marketing.

A Study on Sentiment Score of Healthcare Service Quality on the Hospital Rating (의료 서비스 리뷰의 감성 수준이 병원 평가에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Considering the increase in health insurance benefits and the elderly population of the baby boomer generation, the amount consumed by health care in 2020 is expected to account for 20% of US GDP. As the healthcare industry develops, competition among the medical services of hospitals intensifies, and the need of hospitals to manage the quality of medical services increases. In addition, interest in online reviews of hospitals has increased as online reviews have become a tool to predict hospital quality. Consumers tend to refer to online reviews even when choosing healthcare service providers and after evaluating service quality online. This study aims to analyze the effect of sentiment score of healthcare service quality on hospital rating with Yelp hospital reviews. This study classifies large amount of text data collected online primarily into five service quality measurement indexes of SERVQUAL theory. The sentiment scores of reviews are then derived by SERVQUAL dimensions, and an econometric analysis is conducted to determine the sentiment score effects of the five service quality dimensions on hospital reviews. Results shed light on the means of managing online hospital reputation to benefit managers in the healthcare and medical industry.
